Went for a mini spa day and very well set up and organised. The spa can get busy but we went early and was empty to start with, you ca also use the pool area and go back in the spa. We then dressed for lunch and our table was reserved with our name on it and the service was lovely. Only problem other people let their children run round the tables and this was a pain while you are eating. We then went for our treatment and that was excellent as well. They would have five stars if staff had requested that children were seated and under control.

Was lovely here! Beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous scenery. The complex is quite big — swimming area and spa is very nice and all kept clean. Staff are very welcoming. If I lived here I would be certainly joining!

Recently stayed in one of the apartments at China Fleet and can say I wasn't disappointed. The bedroom was a lovely size with a large comfortable bed and a dressing table with all plug sockets in the right place, usually plug sockets are underneath with no easy access so was delighted to be able to dry my hair as well as having hair straighteners plugged in. Bathroom clean modern and a lovely supply of lavender toiletries. Lounge/ kitchen had everything you needed, very modern, extremely clean and comfortable. Used the spa which was a huge success, 3 different steam rooms, a hot and cold foot spa (heaven) and whirl pool which was great if you need to relax and shake off those aches and pains. Pool and changing rooms which immaculate and free lockers where available. Staff extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Beauitful grounds and lovely at night when the water fountain in the lake was lit up. Was a lovely stay and would highly recommend, will definitely visit again. Thank you China Fleet, we will be back.

Amazing place to stay, excellent facilities, swimming pool, spa, plenty for children to do and a separate over 18's bar for those who want a bit of peace. Apartments are to a high standard. Staff brilliant and food excellent. Would highly recommend, we visit at least couple times a year for a holiday.

Me and my partner come here once a year as a treat and we love it. Apartments are clean and comfy. Spa is just so relaxing! Staff are all friendly and helpful to.

There was 6 of us staying in a cottage, the accommodation was basic but comfortable and clean. The facilities in the hotel were lovely keeping the kids more than occupied on rainy days. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Hotel set in the grounds of a golf course. Good swimming pool and spa. Reasonable priced restaurant and food was tasty. Rooms were good size and clean. Stayed for work purposes but enjoyed the bits that I could use.

I've been returning here for over 10 years. A great club with great atmosphere, friendly people and staff with no hint of snobbery. The golf course has a great range of holes with no two alike. Some which require a bit of thinking but lots where you can release the beast and go for your longest drive.

We spent the long weekend at the China fleet club with our two kids. We have a wonderful time at the club and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and facilities. Just what we were looking for — swimming pool for kids, spa for us, some family sports — badminton, tennis and table tennis. And access to a well equipped gym. We even pampered ourselves with massages. All in all — a fabulous and memorable experience. Strongly recommend.

Excellent experience with both the brasserie and the spa. Definitely membership-oriented, though you can visit the aqua spa for a couple of hours for £18, which is a very well equipped spa. Be aware it can get quite busy on the weekend — it was difficult to actually try everything in the aqua spa — but there is also a large pool and slide just outside to have fun with while waiting. The food was slightly pricey but quite tasty, and the squash courts were also excellent. Easy parking with lots of it.

Fantastic pool at the perfect temperature. The spa is lovely, I could have spent hours in here if I didn’t have to get back to the kids! Changing facilities clean and nice. I’ve not used the gym as we’ve only used the pool and spa as guests. The cafe is pretty good, and offer non dairy milk coffees.

Visited for a wedding. Facilities were good. Room was comfortable and warm (Cornish weather even in August can be chilly). Bit pricey for a family stay I would have thought. Bit of a way out of town so be prepared to drive, or get a taxi, if you want to explore beyond the club itself.

Facilities amazing. Good for all the family. Lovely setting. Food in the cafe area a little poor. Children's soft play says 20 children limit but isn't enforced.

I very much enjoy the golf side of the club but because of the state of the course they have been closed almost all of the last 2 months. 2 years ago a fortune was spent on irrigation when drainage was the problem When the course is closed why can't golfers have free use of the swimming pool as this would not incur any extra expense by the club after all the golfer has paid almost £60 per month for his golf.

We LOVE this place. We swim here as a family every Sunday and stop by for lunch regularly. Food is amazing at any time of the day. Huge amount of choices for both adults and children.

Stayed here for one night with my two sons, one aged 7 and the other aged 18 so a big age difference and I was not disappointed as all ages are catered for. We used the pool facilities which entertained the 7 year old as there is a great slide and also boat floats to use in the pool. My 18 year old and I took it in turns to use the spa which was relaxing and cut off from the main pool so was quiet. In the bar area there is a soft play area so you can have a quiet drink and adult conversation while younger children play. The apartment was great and have a kitchen area so you don't have to eat in the restaurant. (although there isn't much of a view! ). I was able to put my 7 year to bed and have quality time with my older son as we ordered in and watched a movie. Will Definitely return.

Beautifully situated country club. Great facilities but could sell themselves better. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely grounds with plenty of parking. Spa is compact but nice with a wonderful salt steam room, regularly quite crowded and can be noisy. Main pool is fine with an exciting twisty slide that typically opens briefly on the half hour.

Have stayed at the Fleet numerous times through work and have always found it a great experience. Ongoing refurbishments to the apartments are giving them a modern facelift but they still have the handy kitchen. Restaurants have a good choice of food and are not expensive. Not used all the facilites but the Aqua Spa is very relaxing! Staff are always friendly and very attentive.

Excellent atmosphere and professional service. Modern gym with up to date equipment. The restaurant has a nice selection of food at a reasonable price.

Attended a wedding at this venue. Lovely location for the ceremony and meal/party. It is on a country club so you will see members of the public around but the ceremony and function rooms were away from the general public. Only 4 stars as the drinks were a little pricy but that is to be expected. Would recommend.

Have stayed at one of the cottages. Bonus of this is more room for the family and you can go self catering but with housekeeping services and designated parking close by. Cottage is a little tired in places and could do with some TLC in places. Facilities of the Country Club are good — restaurant, a gym, a great looking swimming pool, golf course, soft play area and outdoor play park. Nice looking grounds. Would stay again.

Visited the spa with my partner for her birthday. Very friendly staff and great facilities for all ages — the pool has a water slide and section for kids, which is good to know. Could've spent all day here, but 2 hours was enough to leave feeling relaxed. The website states you need to pre-book, which you don't — just turn up on the day (this might be different if you want treatments).

An excellent gym and spa etc but the Tamar bridge ruins the opportunity to come here often.

Had some lovely experiences here at china fleet, food is pretty good most of the time, I think it depends what chef is on! Have never tried their pool or gym but have been told they are excellent. Has some lovely views around the golf course.

Stayed there for only one night (work trip) but utterly loved the place. The quality of everything is high, the staff are helpful, professional and simply nice. The grounds are great, lots of parking, food is good — simply great!

Spent a week in Cornwall and it came with free passes to china fleet. Have to say I was impressed with this country club. Has everything you need, gym, cafe, classes, driving range, golf course I went to the gym regularly and felt some of the equipment could of been more varied but a good experience.

Great sport and leisure facilities, but a truly dire menu.

Lovely place to visit, there are many activities you can do while visiting. There is multiple places to eat, places to stay, a spa and so on. The staff are absolutely lovely, and will help you to the best of their ability. They also run many courses for things like swimming or rookie lifeguard, there is also an extensive fitness timetable available for adult and child use. Really lovely, family orientated place. Would definitely recommend.

Been here plenty of times, 2 weddings and the rest of the time visiting family. Accommodation is fantastic even having our honeymoon here next week it is that good, especially love the new spa and driving range. Looking forward to a relaxing 2 week break.

We are a member of the club and have been for over 10 years. I particularly like the brasserie where it serves a range of food and has a fantastic ambience. Great for kids with the children's area along with the creche facilities. The club is constantly being updated with the newest addition of the fantastic spa. To top it all to enjoy the regular themed quiz nights.

This is a really nice place to stay.

Reminded me of centre parcs. Had my own apartment which was lovely. Great staff, even helped me jump start my car after I left the internal light on all night.

Have had a fantastic time staying at China Fleet. The Farmhouse restaurant is exceptional value and great food. Was made to feel very welcome through our stay and will definitely return. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Gone here every year since I was 6 and loved it every time a brilliant family orientated place with lots to do on site and also attractions near by. Fab.
