Just had the most amazing 4 nights staying in the Ginentonic Cottage at Old Temperance house. Every little detail has been thought of and we couldn’t want for anymore. The cottage is so cosy and the hosts are fantastic. Thank you Claire & Kevin.

Made to feel at home by Kevin & Claire. Lovely comfortable beds with nice bedding and a large bathroom with quality toiletries. Very good breakfast, lots of choice. We will be visiting again!

Lovely B&B, very comfortable rooms, and the owner's — Kevin & Claire — cannot do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Very clean B&B, Friendly service from the owners. Different footpaths to interesting destinations eg Ponds & beach with the most clearest water I have seen. Locals stop to chat and help if needed. Food from local pubs tasty and generous potions and ofcourse the famous Roskyllis ice-cream parlour.

Can not fault this place. The rooms, the comfty beds, breakfast, the location & the hosts… what a lovely couple, always smiling and happy to help. Me and my husband have had a lovely little weekend away and some breath taking views and surroundings are close by. Keep up the good work Kevin & Claire. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome x.

As people have said. An immaculate b&b run by fabulous people that truly exceeds the 5 stars you can give it. So comfortable and clean, and you awake to one of the best breakfasts I have ever eaten. Puts far more expensive hotels to shame and truly has everything you may need right on the doorstep.

Clive and Denise of Old Temperance House are without a doubt the friendliest and most accomodating hosts I have come across in the world of hotels and B&Bs. Work means I travel quite extensively and I was fortunate enough to be posted to Cornwall for several weeks earlier last year. I have since visited the area several times and each time have been made to feel part of the family which is a delight when working away from home. Having spent several weeks in their delightful little self-catering cottage, Gin& Tonic, I can thoroughly recommend a lengthy stay there. Without going into all the details of the facilities its fair to say that the double bed is THE comfiest bed I have ever slept in. It was a superb little cottage in general which had everything I needed to make it a home from home. Plus theres Wi-Fi which means that although you feel nice and secluded from the rest of the world, you can keep up-to-date with work if you have to. It really was a delight to stay there and I was quite sad to leave when the time came. I have since then stayed in a number of the rooms in the main house and the individual room features are excellent, flatscreen tvs with integrated DVD player, warm and cosy, tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits and bottled water etc etc, and dont forget the wonderful power showers. The only reason you will want to get out of bed in the morning (once again the beds in the main house make for a wonderful nights sleep) will be Clives breakfasts.

Old Temperance House was a great place to stay. We had a fab time, can't wait to go back again. Our room was amazing the standard exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was fit for a king! Would be more than happy to recommend Old Temperance House to anyone.
