Well positioned with bright clean comfortable rooms (very comfy bed) we had a sea view too.
Great hospitality and the make your own breakfast an excellent system.
make it in the comfort of your room (when you want it), everything supplied fresh.
Bread eggs cereals and fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as preserves and of course tea and coffee.

Friendly service with a smile, spacious rooms & easy to find suitable for family & single or dating couple.

Loved the beautifully dressed breakfast table which overlooked the sea, the well stocked fridge and the simple, relaxed room decor.
Just wish we had more time to spend in Penzance.

The room was ok, a bit grubby around the windows and fridge and shower tray, as for the shower there was NO COLD water running so take your chance, plus some of the fixtures need repairing Was not offered a cooked breakfast so had to pay for one outside, NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY 160 pounds plus, for a bed, for 2 nights, the breakfast was ok if you like cheep bread and cold food to get you started for a day out. As for it being quite YES` at night it is, but not in the evening were you are inundated with the Avery attached to the B&B were Minor birds screech alarm calls and phone tones so loud you can hear them on the beach, you do not want to be in the room until they have gone to sleep, most unpleasant. I will not be staying there again TOO pricey TOO noisy, oh and the main door key did not work, so a lot to put right when all said and done. Shame as it is a good place to enjoy Penzance and the coast-line there-about`s.

We had quite an enjoyable stay at the Duporth Guest House. Breakfast is provided in your room (cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt and eggs are in the fridge in your room) and there was plenty tea, coffee and orange juice. Our room had a sea view and generally the property is well located. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. The decor is a bit rough around the edges but generally fine.

Had no knowledge of my Expedia booking from 3 months earlier but had a room… Nicely decorated in a budget way. Bedroom clean. Bathroom modern and clean but sticky floor. Also sticky TV remote… I washed it! Probably kids with marmalade fingers as it was a family suite. Breakfast provided in room (bread, preserves, eggs with egg cooker, tea, proper coffee, milk, juice, yoghurt, fruit) which was ideal for my early start. Owner very friendly. I got parked right outside but you may not be so lucky. Bed comfortable but light shining through from hall kept me awake, as did the fridge when it periodically turned on and vibrated through the bed.

I have been here 3 weeks and this is the 3rd time I have been kept up all night from music from the owners lounge and loud singing it's again 1.38 in the morning here and I'm wide awake. I would not book this place again.

Grubby B&B, not particularly well looked after and not at all clean. There are a lot of other better B&B's in Penzance and you'll have a lot better stay if you do some research on these instead. Only one light working in the bathroom, woodlouse in the room (no mean feat 3 floors up), unclean cutlery, bathroom, tea and coffee facilities too… Oh and a broken chair that was unsafe to sit on for breakfast so I ate sitting on the bed. In summary, it as a roof for the night but don't expect anything more as you won't get it. There is a DIY in-room breakfast so no hot food options at all.

Lovely place. Breakfast is do it yourself in your room so perfect for a gentler start in the morning. Comfortable, clean and close to the sea (and everything else). Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Can't fault the place.

Steve is the best, the only place to stay.

Our room is fully self contained and of High to very Standard.

Had a really really lovely stay at Duporth recently. Lovely guesthouse, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, had the best nights sleep on my travels here. Oh yes, the breakfasts are brilliant, I really like the idea of having breakfast in your room, no rushing around. The owner was really helpful and accommodating. I will be back.

I reccomend the guest house because it was a lovely and welcoming place. The rooms where very clean and modern. There was always food waiting for us when we came back from a journey. I give a full recommendation for this guess house.

Enjoyed the view. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the facilities. Would love to stay here again.!

Fantastic Guest House to visit in Penzance, really nice rooms and breakfast!

The guesthouse was a bit run down. Some of the decor was very tired and broken bed etc. En suite smelt mouldy or damp or of the drains not sure which! Breakfast was DIY in the room. Interesting. Ok but probably would not return.

Very welcoming, even though we arrived after 9 and had to leave before 6 in morning.
Lots of lovely goodies for breakfast in our room — only downside was that we had such a short time to enjoy such lovely hospitality. Would defo stay again and recommend to others.

Superb Seaview room and spot on the location.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a vacation that took us all over England. This stands out as the nicest lodging. The room was clean, quiet and nicely furnished. The hostess was incredibly helpful and made our visit to Penzance much more rewarding. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a warm, welcoming B&B experience.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for just one night on a B&B basis It's a lovely Victorian property in a quiet street just a 2 minute walk to the front and in walking distance of some great pubs and eateries. The room we had was spotless clean as was the en-suite and very comfortable, the continental breakfast is all in your room ready prepared for you which we all thought was a great idea, would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Penzance.

We stayed in the family room with 2 teens; a very large bed/dining room, with a small separate twin bedroom, which was fine for us. Breakfasts were great; amazing choice of cereals, fruit, eggs, yogurt, bread, croisants. The freedom to have breakfast when you want is brilliant! Steve and ellen were very friendly. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

My brother and I spent two nights in this guest house. The Duporth is Very central a beautiful house conversion with exception friendly staff.

The worst B and B we have ever stayed in.

BEDBUGS IN ROOM 8 Beware! Stayed two nights, the third night was up late reading and noticed being bitten by a bug. Caught two more bugs following, confirmed they were bedbugs. We left at 2 am to find bug free accommodation. Manager said he didn't know where they came from and would have them taken care of by experts. It was just too bad because everything else was okay to good. Average quality rooms (as far as furnishings go they were mismatched and inexpensive, but they worked fine), good location, friendly greeting, provided good recommendations for food and activities in the area (and a map with locations marked). Breakfast wasn't anything special (cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast) but since it was in the room, we could sleep in and have it whenever we wanted. Fridge did cycle on throughout the night, so light sleepers wouldn't be happy. Street parking only.
