Been working down there stayed at the breakers for the last 6 weeks realy friendly couple had a good time would recommend it to any one.

We had a great stay in room 3, spotlessly clean with an amazing view over fistral beach and the golf course. Great hosts too, great fun, enjoyed the beers and gins with you on our first night… almost never made dinner! Thanks again, Angela & Malky.

What a lovely place to stay! Such a warm welcome from Matt and Sarah. So friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and affordable. You will find it hard to get a nicer pint too! Can’t recommend enough!

I was actually staying next door which I regret. We had breakfast here and a drink in the evening. Lovely people very helpful and made us feel so welcome. Will defiantly be staying here next year. We also happened to have the same birthday!

Well what can I say, we have just had the most amazing weekend at Breakers from the moment that we arrived we felt so welcome and it really was like a home from home! Matt and Sarah are the most loveliest, down to earth generous people we have met and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay, not to mention Fred the dog who I totally fell totally in love with as soon as I saw him! Winning the competition was amazing as have never won anything but the actual prize really was spectacular as we have made some really precious memories that we will always treasure but not only that but met a lovely couple who we definitely would now consider as friends who we would love to keep in touch with We are already making plans to go back as paying customers with family and definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere else but Breakers! Highly recommended Breakers can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much guys absolutely first class much love to you both and Fred ♥️ xx.

Clean rooms and great owners. Super helpful and friendly. I keep going back.

Super nice guests but can get a little loud in the evening. Pet and kid friendly.

Just popped in for a refreshing drink on my way home, not my first time and def not my last. Matt and Sarah treat all their guests like friends which I love, they even looked after my pooch. Can’t wait to bring the hubby and try out the new menu.

Great place to stay, very comfortable and good on price. Matt and Sarah are fantastic hosts and they have an awesome dog called Fred :) Very close to Fistral beach and all good amenities locally in the town. Would highly recommend staying here!

Matt & Sarah made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very clean and feel fresh, perfect for a weekend break. Both of them are full of local knowledge to make your trip perfect. We return and stay every year. Fully recommended.

Lovely property and owners, stayed here for several days and found the accommodation quiet with great views across fistral, close proximity to town and all main beaches, highly recommended over other lodges we have stayed in previously.

Stayed at Breakers for 2 weeks in January last year while I was doing some work experience at Blue Reef Aquarium for my college course. Being the first time I had been away from home by myself I felt right at home (forgive the possibly intentional pun). The owners are lovely and do absolutely everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible especially the Lovely dog. The room I stayed in had a comfortable bed and had plenty of room and were well presented having all the facilities one would need. I would recommend this lodge to anybody wishing to visit Newquay. Wishing Matt and co all the best hope to see you guys again soon :)

I stayed in breakers for almost 2 weeks in january with my girlfriend. We had never been to newquay in winter so werent quite sure what to expect. We had room 3, an amazing room, great size with a view of fistral beach! Matt & Kempy were so lovely, making sure we felt at home the whole time we were there. We loved the fact that there is a bar downstairs, saves you going out when the weathers crap! Couldnt recommend this place enough!

Cheap, clean accommodation in a good location.

Owners are so nice! The place is very clean and tidy but basic. It is like a hostel with rooms of bunk beds. Perfect for stag dos and the like. If this is what you're looking for then you've found the perfect place!

Perfectly adequate for our stag do needs. Close enough to town to walk. The owner is now than welcoming and helpful. Great dog there as well.

This is the third year my friends and I have been and as always it was the best… Matt is the best host (and Fred is just as great) and we always have the most incredible time! Without a doubt the best place to stay in Newquay-super central, such a great price, great accommodation and incredible host-what more could you want! Thanks again Matt and see you soon!

Perfect place to crash for surfers, ideal location opposite fistral beach and the golf course, with town a 5-8 minute skate away. Matt is a sound guy, the beds/room were comfy and clean and it felt cosy. Will most likely stay here again as his prices are spot on and it was a lovely stay.
