Great day out on the golf course, some spectacular holes great day out.

Great location, amazing food, cosy rooms and helpful staff.

Just had a lovely hot stone massage at the Budock Vean Spa lovely to be back after 4 months. Very professional, lots of gel stations. Would absolutely recommend a visit.

The friendliness of the staff, the attention to detail the quality of the food. It's simply one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

Staff are very welcoming and attentive, rooms are lovely, big comfy bed, food is very good, nice pool, 9 hole golf course was in very playable condition considering the rain we have had.

What's not to like about this place! Superb setting with excellent on site facilities. Lovely restaurant and attentive staff. Comfortable and cosy rooms. Ideal location for exploring south Cornwall. Extensive gardens that lead down to the estuary. Amazing breakfast selection.

I can't recommend Budock Vean Hotel highly enough. The room we stayed in was spotless, beautiful, spacious and comfortable with ample storage and a lovely view. The grounds are stunning and the foreshore is so picturesque and tranquil. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and there was always a quiet spot in one of the lounges to enjoy some peace and quiet. The food is out of this world and cooked to perfection and thank you so much Budock Vean for not playing music at breakfast. It was pleasing to be allocated the same table for the week. Such care is taken to ensure food is sourced locally and is of top quality. Thank you also for maintaining the high standards that we feared were consigned to the past, until, that is, we stayed at this hotel. The service was excellent and the staff all very attentive, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail can make all the difference and indeed this is the case here. The only small issue we had was the noise in the bedroom presumably from the biomass boiler. While it's hardly discernible during the daytime, in the night it sounds like the bathroom fan is running. We noticed the pipes running up the wall outside our bedroom later in the week. However, this didn't really detract from the stay and we will certainly look forward to a return visit. The hotel is beyond excellent and a lucky find when we were unable to book Treglos.

Excellent, friendly staff, well maintained clean rooms, lovely selection of lounge areas to relax in, spa with good selection of treatments, lovely indoor pool/spa, with table tennis, tennis courts, golf course, putting green, croquet lawn, great walks in the grounds and down to the waters edge from where you can go on boat trips around the estuary. Excellent restaurant and delicious bar menu available on the terraces.

Just spent a very relaxing week, beautiful grounds that go down to the Helford estuary, great for anyone wanting a romantic getaway. Food excellent, staff friendly, fabulous spa.

Was there in 1980 and was impressed by it's beauty and calmness. At the time the Whitesides where great host.
there house was the old stables that had been restored in a warm and confortable living space.
Kept memorable images and will always remember the war hospitality of the host, Whiteside family at the time.

One of the best spa days I've had. Friendly staff. And the food was amazing. The facilities were clean and well kept. The views were amazing.

We love dog friendly hotels and this place is perfect for that, we walked through the beautiful gardens onto the river side absolutely stunning x.

Visit to use spa, pool area very tired though outdoor jacuzzi is lovely. Terrible shower setup, no privacy, or power, too hot there is no way to adjust temperature! Changing room is the size of a postage stamp! & no shower only 1 toilet, really a bit of a let down however the general hotel & gardens are beautiful.

Our favourite place for lunch or the best cream team. Wonderful timeless ambience. Very peaceful with lovely views from the patio and by the river.

I don't know why my review showed as one star! I have been to this hotel 5 times and would recommend it to anyone. The service and new signature room is just perfect.

Long overdue but I wanted to say the biggest thanks to Zoe at the spa for the most marvellous treatment. Such an amazing experience! The whole thing was infact, the overnight stay and meal was the biggest treat, my personal highlight was the breakfast bar in the morning, heaven! Followed by a day of relaxation and pampering at the spa. An absolute highlight of my year so far!

Budock Vean is a gorgeous hotel in beautiful grounds. My stay here was excellent. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Falmouth area. Fabulous facilities and service!

Comfortable and sedate. A host of amenities for residents. Golf, tennis, snooker, swimming pool, Jacuzzi. Understandably expensive but not ridiculously so.

A lovely hotel hidden way down Cornwall. Makes the perfect place to get away to. Lovely walks and places to visit.

I have just returned from a wonderful two nights stay at the Budock Vean Hotel where the reception was held for my son’s wedding. Our room was lovely, views of the golf course, a seperate WC, beautiful crisp white bed linen, very spacious and quiet.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent and my husband said he had the best scrambled eggs ever for breakfast.
Always something to do, even in December, a short walk down to the river, golf, indoor swimming pool, sauna and outside hot tub. Table tennis and snooker.
It was a memorable weekend and I would like to experience the facilities during the Summer months.

Excellent hotel, with much offer for family, couple or simple for one person, exclusive and relaxing atmosphere. Spa, large garden areas, golf courses, tennis courts, kayaking offer and many more, close to many cultural spaces and surrounded by green spaces and spectacular beaches. A unique place.

Even though I live locally, I have eaten lunch and spent time in the beautiful gardens of the Budock Vean Hotel for the first time yesterday, and I am asking myself why I left it so long. It was a heavenly experience and myself and my husband had the most wonderful time there! First of all the setting is so special and the gardens leading down to the river are very special. I felt like I was entering a very peaceful place and when we came back out into the car park to go back home, it was a feeling of entering a different world again.
We ate lunch, sitting on the terrace in the warm September sun and it was one of the best eating experiences I have had in Cornwall. The cheese souffle melted in the mouth, and the sticky toffee pudding is to die for! On top of such scrummy food, we had such lovely service. What impressed me the most is that the waiters really seem to love their job and they are very natural and genuine. A great find just down the road and we will certainly come back again soon!

It is all about the people. All were attentive, accommodating and most polite. That is what makes a good hotel a great experience.

A fantastic hotel. Great location and good service. The food is exceptionally good and served in a pleasant dining room which still provides live music from a pianist or guitarist as a pleasant background. Set in a beautiful setting by the Helford River with lovely walks and drives to the nearby coastal towns. A place to return to when ever possible.

A beautiful hotel, extra class.

Came here for a pamper day for my friends hen party with 12 others. We had a lovely day getting our chosen treatments, I had a manicure, Harriet did a great job. We then had lunch, my crab sandwich was to die for. After that we used the spa facilities like the pool, sauna and jacuzzi, so warm. Staff were lovely and friendly. Beautiful views in the garden. Would recommend Budock Vean.

Second time here and still 5 star, you could not ask for anything better, the staff are absolutely 5 star, nothing is too difficult for them, and, the golf course is very good 9 holes in excellent condition and 18 tees. The 5th is an excellent challenge to get on the green in 3, but I did it.

Definitely a 5 star experience. We doubt whether any hotel in Cornwall could have such attentive and willing staff in the most beautiful surroundings. Our stay was both thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. We recommend it wholeheartedly.
