I stay at many hotels every month for business purposes, but this has to be my best hotel. Staff are attentive, views are amazing, rooms have a nautical theme and to top it off evening meal and breakfast are first class.

We loved our stay at The Greenbank. Great location. Our room was perfect with lovely views, even from the bath! Cocktail menu was amazing, such a choice. Bar staff were really good. We will definitely be back.

Came here for bottomless brunch with my friend the food was incredible, the Gin was lovely and you definitely got your money’s worth it’s such a good price for 25 pounds each, definitely cannot wait to come back! Also a special thanks to the waiter although it was busy he was attentive and went out of his way for us I didn’t catch his name but wanted to thank him again very much cannot wait to do it again.

A very big thank you to the Greenbank team! We had an amazing time staying with you last week, in which time we got married too! All staff were so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t fault them at all. Had an upgraded balcony room and bottle of Prosecco on arrival, and Buck’s Fizz with breakfast on the morning after our wedding. It was a really special stay and the extra’s were a real treat so thank you very much! We hope to come back next year to stay with you again. Amazing view from our room, even spotted a rainbow just before we left! Thanks again for everything. A very special stay and we would most defiantly recommend!

We have absolutely loved our stay at Green Bank Hotel. The social distancing measures they have put in place are great, you feel very safe and well looked after. Food has been delicious, staff have been wonderful, the family bedrooms are spacious and have enough room for everyone’s suitcases with a lovely comfortable king size bed. The little balcony and view are lovely.
We are definitely returning next year. The only downfall was leaving! As a special treat we book Falmouth boat charter too, wow this was amazing. We had the best afternoon and Jeremy was a brilliant host!

We stayed in the Florence suite last night, the suite is spectacular, we didn't want to leave. The room was large, it was very clean and with its own balcony it was perfect. The food was fantastic. We were greeted with a warm welcome, the reception staff were brilliant as were all the other staff members we met during our stay. We are already planning our next stay, we cannot wait to return. Thank you everyone for making our 10th anniversary so special.

I absolutely love this hotel. I travel on business and for a single female traveller this place is an oasis. Every single member of staff is completely charming. They never stop hoovering! Whenever I stay here I feel safe and happy, love it.

On holiday in area and had booked a family lunch to celebrate 50th birthday. Food fantastic, server very helpful and friendly. Well recommended to people coming to Falmouth area.

Good food. So so service. Edit: Writing more to substantiate 3 star. Upon arrival (at the pub / roadside entrance) we were not initially met by anyone and when we eventually were, there was no real certainty as to whether or not we could just be a 'walk in' or needed to book. Once that was cleared up, we took a table and noticing that the glass top was filthy, asked for it to be wiped down. This took a while to play out, but, more importantly… was likely the least effort I have ever seen put into the wiping down of a table. As above, the food was a redeeming feature and was very good (we had platters and a few beers / cocktails). Continually, throughout the time we were there (roughly 3 hours or so) getting the attention of any of the staff was a difficult task. They didn't appear to be busy with anything in particular… just unavailable. I say this, but the exception was one young female staff member who was the only one whose eye we managed to catch when we needed something, despite her not being our host / waitron. As above. Good food. So so service. I would, however, recommend going here. The setting is lovely and if the service was improved — it would easily cruise to a 4 star rating from me.

My husband were given a voucher to use for our 25th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing lunch at the Greenbank Hotel. We both worked here twenty six years ago and it was great to come back and see all the changes, you have done an amazing job at bringing it up to date. We were a bit disappointed not to be able to stay the night, as we were tied with work and only able to stay for one night but we couldn't book for a single night as the hotel only allows a two night booking in August. Hopefully we will come back out of season and stay and get a proper look around. We couldn't fault the waitress that looked after us, very friendly and interested in our time working at the hotel many years ago. Very fond memories remembered, and new ones created. We will be back for the Gin cocktails if nothing else. X.

Went here for a family function that included a meal. The hotel itself is very plush, luxurious and rings all the bells with its appearance. The meal itself was pretty good but could do with being warmer. It would also be a good idea for the chef to taste the soup being sent out as we had broccoli and stilton soup… we think somebody dropped the container of pepper in as that it what it tasted like… no broccoli or stilton just pepper.

My family stayed at the Greenbank hotel for 2 nights. Best decision ever! Stunning view of the port from the room and really modern and spacious rooms. Breakfast is very good and filling and has a lot of different choices. Dinner is great too! Desert hit the right spot! All the staff is really sweet and friendly. I would definitely consider coming back! Great Cornwall experience.

We recently stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. The hotel is amazing, the harbour view rooms have fantastic views, the bars are great and the food is superb. However, the biggest asset that this hotel has is its staff. Every single one of them that we spoke to were extremely friendly, polite and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect! Thank you to each and every one of you that made our stay special again! We'll be back in the future!

Great spot to stay. The hotel is grand in design inside, lovely both in the summer and during the Christmas period. It's far away enough from the centre of Falmouth to be quiet but close enough that you're not isolated. The Working Boat pub below also boasts some fantastic evening views to watch with a pint in hand.

Nice family place… Great pub food, great breakfast. The decor is being freshened up as I write this. Rooms well equipped and good staff. Beds very comfortable with good size. The view from room 135 was great. Very nice to have the doors open all night. My only criticism is that the woodwork is painted and grubby. Just needs a clean I'm sure.

Lovely hotel staff really attentive food was excellent we did not stay but friends who were said the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was to die for. Views were great parking is the only issue.

Gem of a Hotel. My wife and I stayed a few times last year and the year before. Lovely restaurant and pleasant staff. I had the pleasure of supplying the Hotel with the services of my own TV Aerial Company yesterday and have to say that the staff have the same friendly attitude whether serving guests or dealing with contractors and service engineers. Well done Greenbank!

Went to a wedding here. Staff and food were great. Lovely located hotel right on the water. There is a big balcony off the function room which is right above the water, lovely to stand out on in the good weather. Parking is pretty scarce though, especially when they have a wedding or other event on.

My mum and I had a fantastic relaxing spa treatment by Lindsay. I would highly recommend, she's a fantastic therapist. Followed by a lovely lunch. Will definitely visit again.

Just had a lovely night away at The Greenbank. The staff were really friendly and the hotel is beautiful! Our initial room was great, however there was bit of a humming sound in the room from the kitchens below, we mentioned this in passing to reception, who kindly offered to move and upgrade us. The new room was even better. The food in the pub was good and the breakfast was very good. We also had a great evening attending the hotel’s First Gin Club!

My absolute favourite hotel in Falmouth. Beautiful location with lovely harbour views and the sound of the water lapping and the bells on the yacht masts is magical. Get a waterside room. The restaurant is gorgeous with a wide menu choice built on local choices and beautifully prepared and presented. I admit to being a fan of the greenbank. The greenbank also ran a family event for me recently which was beautifully done and expertly managed.

We have just returned from our second visit to this great hotel after celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary there. 5 nights just isn't enough. We booked the same room as last time and weren't disappointed. The room was fantastic, the food was fantastic and the view from the room simply beautiful. The staff are superb, and the wine waiting in our room on our anniversary was the icing on the cake. The only low point was discovering a nasty dent in the door of my car when we left yesterday. I am fairly confident I know who it was as I could see it from our room, but hey ho. Can't blame the hotel for that.

We have recently stayed at the hotel for my husbands birthday. The surroundings are beautiful; unfortunately, the hotel front desk service, house keeping service and the overall attitude could desire much better for the price you're paying. Also I would not recommend the working boat pub as the service and food could be of much better offering. The restaurant and the bar on the main level are quite nice. Overall would not go back mainly over absolutely unnecessarily poor service attitude.

Location: overlooking the harbor, nice views from the seaside. Staff: friendly, efficient. Food: good quality at the Pub, very good breakfast. Room: 303: newly renovated, very functional and beautiful bathroom, huge bed, good mattress. I would highly recommend to remove all of the carpet in house. It stinks (the lift), it doesn't stick to the ground (reception) or it ruins the otherwise good impression (restaurant). Value for money is not good.

Attended a staff conference here. The buffet provided was great and the facilities were spacious and clean. Parking is limited, but free if you are using the facilities. Would recommend.

Have stayed here over Christmas three years in a row. The staff are really nice and most have been there for a while, which I take as a good sign. The rooms all seem to be quite a decent size, even for single occupancy (as far as I can tell they're just smaller double rooms). The sea view rooms are worth the extra money, watching the sun rise over the water in the morning is lovely. The restaurant food is fantastic, and there's now noted only the choice of that or bar snacks but also the Working Boat pub underneath too.

The hotel and stuff were impeccable not a fault other than the parking but that's an issue for the location and with the history of the hotel who can blame it.

As always the food at the Greenbank impresses. Christmas lunch was excellent, and the service was world class.

Went for lunch for mothers birthday. Service was great (some of the best I've ever received). Staff were all wonderfully attentive. Prices were really reasonable too. Just a shame it was cloudy as the view would have been been better!

Ask for premium room. Amazing.
