The Fox Hotel

I visit this gaff every other week when down here for work, great customer service, amazing food and the prices are very reasonable!

Me, my hubby and our dog paid a visit this morning for breakfast and we were given such a warm welcome, especially our dog who was thoroughly spoilt with his own doggie breakfast whilst we had ours. my hubby had the large breakfast which he really enjoyed and I had scrambled egg on toast, which again was very yummy and large. we then went into the garden to look at the lovely flowers for sale and purchase a couple of plants to take home. overall it is a lovely little place and very much recommend that people give them a visit.

And the best Jaffa cake ever. Sun shine so we ate in the beautiful garden. Kids happy, adults happy beautiful family time. In a cute quirky pub, I can imagine all the food tastes great, so will be returning to try a different choice. Rumour has it the burgers are great. Location is not to be judged on this pub as its a great little place to visit, if I worked next to it, I would be fat.

This is such a gem of a place. It’s lovely inside and out. A cosy atmosphere and the garden is amazing and you can buy plants too. The food was lovely and the staff are very friendly. Will go again and recommend.

Fab breakfast in the very nice garden today… The breakfast was a great price and all quality ingredients, good service and beautiful plants for sale. Would definitely recommend and I will be back!

We had the roast beef today. Succulent and delicious, so much tasty veg I can hardly move.
The carrot and walnut cake has to be one of the best I've ever tasted and a fiver off for mothers day!

Today we had the Sunday Lunch delivered, the portions are generous, it was delivered on time, amazing home cooked, great quality local food! We will definitely be back, thank you very much! Can not attach a photo as it was too nice to eat and I only remembered taking a picture when my plate was empty. The gentleman we were talking to on the phone was also a very nice person, thoroughly recommend!

I was recommended your cafe after my cooker died and went on Facebook to ask where I could get a Sunday dinner delivery. It was wonderfully packed, still steaming hot, and absolutely delicious, my husband said it was the best beef he’d had for some time. We will certainly order again. Thank you.

Had takeaway roast and dessert today, definitely recommend. Very pleasant and fast response to communications, Covid secure collection, welcoming friendly staff and delicious food. We will be using The Fox again, give this great small business some support if you can, highly recommend!

We had a roast delivered today it was absolutely beautiful, the beef was amazing, great food thank you so much.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner. We travelled from stoke gifford and was so worth it. Beef was lush and my son said the chicken was superb. The gravy was so tasty. Sat in our garden made it even more lovely. Would highly recommend. Xxxxx.

Came across this place by accident while waiting for pickup nearby. Quality food, friendly staff what’s not to like?
Slightly spoiled by 20+ policemen coming in for breakfast! No, seriously, they looked like locals and if they think it’s worth a visit then it must have a good reputation.

Had a lush Sunday lunch. The roast beef in red wine was to die for. The portions are huge! Have eaten far too much & I honestly don’t think I will need to eat till at least Tuesday. Thank you.

The food that was catered was absolutely amazing, a great selection of everything and even catered for dietary needs and all the guests really enjoyed the food. A few guests rented rooms and were extremely happy with service provided and enjoyed their breakfast. We all had an amazing night and me and my wife would deffo recommend to everyone. Things couldn't have gone any better than they did. Thanks team fox.
