Fantastic service and attentive and so much help after being taken in to hospital x.

Do not stay at Hampton by Hilton Bristol. Just been charged £100 for leaving tobacco on a table. Refused to bring us a manager to speak to. Very rude staff.

Items from our room went missing, no cctv covering the corridors for people entering rooms. Wouldn’t recommend.

What a lovely place and great company.

Well, the staff at this hotel were literally amazing from arrival to departure. Sara, keiran, Chelsea and kirsty… literally the dream team! immediately dealt with a few small issues in a fantastic way and continued to make us feel very welcome. Their personal approach made this stay one to remember. Shame about the night shift manager however, I'm sure he will learn to smile at some point. Thank you :)

After staying at this hotel I was bitterly disappointed with the standard of hotel for the price I paid. The bed was squeaky and very uncomfortable and the bedding felt overused and under cleaned. The dispensers were not clean and I had to ask to have them refilled. The shower isn’t warm enough and ha no power and the towels were also overused. We had to request new bedding which was an inconvenience given we were there for only two nights as we had to request the night before. The USB port didn’t work and the lamp wouldn’t come on without all the other lights being on. Upon arrival the towels were damp. The only redeeming features were the location and the staff were amazing! They were helpful and friendly and did replenish the dwindling soaps at an Ungodly hour without complaint. I wish I could say more good things about this hotel and I probably would if the price was at cheaper. This hotel was more like a hostel…

Beds are not comfortable enough, staff ask so many non relative for one night stay, they should have given their reception staff more hospitality courses and at night they won’t let us sit near reception sofa but we have seen people sitting the morning which is very unrealistic and above all he has given us the room on the 4th floor with air con next to window and the windows are not sound proof either. So I wish them good luck with business and dealing with late night customer too.

Very comfortable bed with pretty much everything you need in your room. Only downside is the parking situation. We parked in Cabot Circus to take advantage of the evening offer.

Highly recommended this hotel great quality for your money, clean rooms lovely beds. Staff are very polite and helpful and there was an very good choice for breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance for shopping, eating and the harbourside.

Staff ok. Room was lovely and the breakfast was nice but my god the evening food was disgusting. Wouldn’t even give it to a dog. Seems like they spent all the money on the rooms and skimped on the chef.

This place is UNDERPRICED! for the price we paid £60 for 2 on a sunday night with brekky I couldn’t believe it! The staff are absolutely lovely and cant do enough for you, the food is gorgeous — we had evening dinner served till 10pm and then brekky — well you are spoilt for choice everything from waffles to bagels, full english, fruit, pastries, cereals yogurts something for everyone. The rooms are spotless and spacious with good Wi-Fi and the location is brill — right in the centre close to all the shops! We were signed up to the members club which meant we get a late check out at 2pm for no extra cost. If I could rate this place with 10 stars I would! Absolutely fab we will deffo be back!

Amazing hotel. I loved my stay here and staff really friendly. On request to move rooms after the one got being to small they kindly was able to give us a bigger and better room.

For a Budget Hotel the Hampton is very very good indeed. The rooms are modern, air conditioned and well sized and the bathroom is good. In fact I would say that the beds are far comfier than next door at the Holiday Inn (which for a Holiday Inn is a good example). There is also a good little gym and a bar. The only drawback is that it feels like a school canteen for Breakfast, although the food is fine. There are usually for or five tourists scratching their heads in regards to using the waffle maker, which can be entertaining. I'd say for the price its great value and actually better than next door.

Quite a nice hotel, very bright when you walk in and the decor seems a little budget. In saying that staff were nice, checked in promptly due to honours member. Room was nice and clean with a good bathroom but very little space to one side of the bed and air con didn't cool room much at all. Will stay again on business.

So far so good. Just arrived. Very pleasant and professional staff. Very clean. Nice room. Minimalistic but everything you need. Haven't tried the food yet but very simple menu. 4 or 5 mains. 3 starters. Bar is quite low on choice but adequate. Prices are reasonable. £5 for a bottle of cider. Parking is next door at a NCP. The hotel does give 25% off the parking total by validating your ticket before you depart. As said. So far so good. Breakfast not tried yet.

The staff are welcoming and friendly and the rooms pleasant and spacious and clean. However the air-conditioning was quite noisy and prevented me from sleeping (although perhaps I am unfairly blaming this as I had some insomnia recently) and other guests woke me up when I finally started falling asleep by slamming doors. Finally at about seven in the morning my wife and I were awoken by a couple having some very loud, persistent and long-lasting sex in the room above us. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor, especially for a discounted £73 per night. This all said the breakfast is super impressive (for an extra £8 per person) with fried breakfast, cereals, continental options, crumpets, muffins, toast, fruits and even a really impressive waffle iron with fresh waffle batter and of course fruit juices and hot drinks.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Power sockets by the bed — excellent. Poor bathroom set up — tap projection too short over basin to use properly. No bath. No sanitary disposal bags. No vanity set. Staff got my taxi request wrong despite clarification — was already a very early start so didn't appreciate being woken 20 minutes earlier than requested and could have missed onward train if driver had not agreed to wait. Metal lock securing door sheared and snapped off altogether (metal fatigue). Staff unapologetic and unhelpful. All in all, just okay. Not what I expect from the Hilton brand — service needs to be better to compete with others in the area.

First time here. On checking in I asked if the room was a twin, it wasn't but the receptionist looked hard and upgraded us to a superior room with a better, which would be made up at 1800. It wasn't so we had to remind them on our way out to dinner at 1900), it was done by our return a few hours later. Lovely clean spacious room. The window do not open so you have to put up with the aircon, but other than that, a comfortable night.

Nice room. Good breakfast. Staff very nice. Wish they had more info on food in room and on website as I didn't really know what I was doing at night as food was paid for in advance. Don't have a restaurant so you ring down to order and pick it up or go down and wait. Confusing and very little choice. Pizza was nice though. Would stay again but holiday inn next door has the best food I've ever tasted.

We had a great time. The hotel was very modern very clean. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was great there is so much choice all very fresh. Catered for my vegetarian daughter.
We stayed there to be close to the shops we were very close to the shops and the coach stop. We left our bags at the hotel for the day nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be going there again.

Pretty much what you would expect from this brand. Helpful staff and a pleasant enough building inside. The location isn't as nice as it could be, but Bristol is a compact city, and the hotel is close to all the amenities. The room was fine; not spacious, but big enough. Only one significant issue which was that the sliding door to the bathroom was broken so that it couldn't be fully closed thus violating the sanctity of one's ablutions. I chose this hotel as I wanted twin beds and breakfast included. So if you also want these things, then this hotel fits the bill.

Very bad experience. A friend of my brother who was staying here left an expensive present from him for me with reception. The duty deputy manager made little effort to find it and denied 3 times that she had even stayed there! Thanks to a good cover manager, my gift was found but this was after several days of stress and endless calls. Beware of lazy incompetent staff. This employee should not be in the position he holds as he reflects badly on the company and I for one will never stay in a Hampton by Hilton hotel after this and doubt very much if anyone in my brother's company will either. Absolutely horrible.

Looks dodgy from the outside but the room and lovely. At breakfast there was an amazing selection although there wasn't enough tables and chairs since a large area was take up by unnecessary sofas and arm chairs. Also, although they offer food they refuse to do room service even though there is a RS tray in the room? Maybe they just didn't want to?

The room heater was very noisy and disturbed our sleep, there was only one coffee and tea in the bedroom no biscuits, parking was super expensive even with discount, the room was nice the bathroom was nice, the staff were lovely, breakfast was ok but not as nice as the mecure hotel. Good position in town easy to find.

Quite a nice hotel, heating didn't appear to work (very well at least! ) But as I was only here for one night and wasn't feeling cold, it didn't bother me. I absolutely ADORED the pillows and, if I wasn't scared to break the law, could have happily taken one home! I've stayed in alot of hotels and this pillow was the best by far (i am saddened by the thought of using my own pillow tonight! ).

Beautifully presented inside, lovely spacious rooms. Beautiful bathroom. Would of liked to have a bath but no biggy. Lovely complimentary breakfast, luxury for good value!

Location to Bristol temple meads station is great — we walked there in about 15 minutes. It was also useful to have the big shopping mall just across the road. Breakfast was a 10/10 with loads of options including a waffle making machine the beds were comfy and everything was clean. If we come back to Bristol, we will stay here again.

Hotel is really clean and quite modern. There is also 24 hr pizza which is actually surprisingly delicious and the breakfast spread is quite big. Location is very central as well — perfect for a our weekend in Bristol!

Conveniently located a stone's throw from the center, it has nice clean rooms, all the amenities you need, a great buffet breakfast. The staff was very helpful.

I have stayed at the Hampton by Hilton a few times. All of the times I stayed in the Queen room which has a double bed, a desk, a very comfortable armchair, a toilet and a shower. The room was very clean and was being cleaned everyday. The hotel also has a very small gym, with two running machines (I think), a bicycle, a multi-weight machine and dumbbells up to 20kg. Although I never visited the gym when someone else was there, I doubt that more than two people can exercise at the same time. The breakfast is self-service and contains the traditional English (sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs and hash browns), pancakes, different kinds of breads and cereal, jams and honey, brown sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise and some fruit. Also it has two kinds of juices and coffees.

I wouldn't call it a budget hotel but the room was of the usual chain hotel standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was happy to stay open for us into the early hours.

Lovely and very affordable room, only £51 for a twin room including breakfast (of a great range of foods from full English, to toast, fruit, cereal and two waffle presses). Staff are sincere and help in every way possible. Definitely Recommend to anyone reading this review.

A good modern room and for someone who likes to exercise the gym facilities whilst fairly basic did the job. The restaurant evening menu (if that’s what you can call it) was extremely poor. I ordered a garlic flat bread which was completely tasteless followed by a haddock risotto. I am unsure as to how you can call a handful of fish flakes, boiled rice and a few peas chucked together with absolutely no seasoning a risotto? This badly let down the overall experience I’m afraid.

Pleasant enough… "Trendy" the bar/ barstaff need to learn more about what they are serving. Just because the label says beer doesn't mean it is beer… it's larger brewed in a country that calls it beer… No that's Larger… Breakfast was mediocre… The area you eat bland and basic very harsh hard making it noisey. We had a pleasant welcome and the room was well appointed.

A friend booked a double room but stayed alone, so I joined her each morning for breakfast. Lovely hotel and amazing breakfast. So much choice! Now I'm tempted to buy a waffle machine! Would definitely recommend as good location too, and close to coach station.

Generally very good. Room clean and modern. Plugs by bed! Doors thin so disturbed by corridor chaos. FOH staff excellent. Breakfast staff maybe need a service upgrade. Gym decent.

Our second stay in the past couple of months, as our son has just started university at UWE, and his accommodation is very close to here. The rooms are a good size and are all nicely furnished, with really comfortable beds and great bathrooms. There is also a really good complimentary buffet breakfast available in the morning. The hotel is very well located for the city centre shops, pubs and restaurants, which are all only a few minutes walk away.

A very clean and conveniently located hotel. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast is lovely. I would have rated 4 stars, however there wasn't any bottled water in the room and the parking wasn't free.

Staff were friendly, rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was alright. Near the city centre so could walk out and find a place for a meal easy enough. Parking is in the adjacent ncp car park and quite expensive. There is street parking near by, but only really suitable if parking through certain times. Although it's Bristol, so my advice is not to drive!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Pizza and Thai Curry are Good choices from the very short food menu. Few facilities but clean.

Very central to walk around town. If arriving by car, parking is the only let down, expensive. Buffet breakfast is superb! Great Wi-Fi and a really good gym. Highly recommended.

Just OK. Rooms are quite small. The pressure of the water in the shower was not sufficient and O had some issues with the sliding closet doors which were blocked easily. But it was clean, and breakfast was good.

Good hotel at the gates of the city. There was no mini bar but the room was spacious and clean. Restaurant excellant, food good but limited menu.

The Hampton by Hilton Bristol hotel is a pleasant police to stay in the centre of Bristol. It is conveniently placed right next to the Bear Pit. Complementary breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. The room I stayed in was a good size and the bed comfortable. It was fairly quiet on a Sunday night, no complaints.

Perfect location to get round Bristol. What I would say about Hilton chains is that the pillows are always too soft, but guess that is personal preference. Parking is an NCP car park next door where you get 25% discount.

This is a decent hotel! They are very accepting of large groups, with a number of stags and hen parties staying within their walls. The staff are very friendly and (as long as you are respectful and quiet) are happy for early morning activity around the hotel. I would recommend.

The room was well appointed, very clean and very modern. Nothing was dated, broken or looking worse for wear. The bed was very comfortable and the TV was excellent. Tonnes of mains plug sockets! One either side of the bed aswell. The staff were very good down at the desk and the bar was open til well on into the early hours of the morning (Saturday to Sunday)

I love this hotel and have been here a couple times! The free breakfast is delicious and we especially love the waffle machine. There is a also a 24 hour pizza service and the pizzas are really Good! Nothing is too much to ask of the staff and they never made me feel l8ke I was putting them out or being annoying when I asked for something, even in the middle of the night.

Excellent price for a hotel so close to Cabot circus and just a few minutes drive to the city centre. The check in process was simple and quick and the rooms were spacious and clean. If you park in the NPC car park next to the hotel make sure you get the receptionist to scan your parking ticket when you check out to receive a 25% discount on your parking. (Standard cost before discount is £23 for 24 hrs) The only slight inconveniences were that the TV could not be seen from the bed, but it wasn't wall mounted so I just moved it to a better location and returned it to its original place before we left. We did have a corner room so I think that's the reasoning for the bad placement. There was also a buzzing noise coming from the ceiling heating/ventilation system which continued for the whole time we were there and all through the night. Overall this is a great hotel for the price and I would highly recommend to anybody.

Location very central, but with good soundproofing. Less than 5min walk from a shopping centre, with varied restaurants. Right on the front sidewalk stop many buses, even long distance. Attention very carefully, to detail. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Even the sofa bed for tall people. Perfect bathroom, with shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and the higher the conditioner for the hair and body cream. Breakfast buffet including: a variety of sweet and salty, with the typical English breakfast, pastries, toast… And machine waffles! We are delighted with the choice.
