This is our second visit here, food is nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. Children’s food was plentiful but a little on the dry side.

My favourite pub to stop off in if I'm early for Bristol airport. Fantastic service, so friendly, and very reasonably priced.

A fantastic little pub a couple of miles from Bristol Airport. There are rooms for rent for those wishing an easier journey. During my stay I witnessed locals and people passing through all greated with a warm welcome. The building is old and we'll maintained. Clean and the service is great. I had the roast beef Sunday lunch. And it was exactly what I would expect, the home cooked taste really makes this pub stand out in the crowd. I will be coming back. I would advise giving them a call if you have a big crowd to eat on a Sunday. I left about 13:00 and there wasn't a spare seat in the place. And people where starting to cue for a table. This little gem is definitely worth a visit.

Food and drink really good. Staff excellent. A really nice place, really nice views over the countryside, barrow tanks and Bristol.

Lovely place to dine in. My wife and I also stayed overnight here before catching a flight from Bristol Airport. Nice place to stay and we will again when using the Airport.

Good food and very good deals in the week. Friendly service. Quite a long wait for food but we were made aware before ordering. Plenty of comfortable seating, lovely views.

Warning! They do not do Breakfasts before nine and make you feel guilty if you want food before 9am. This place must make a fortune and with little competition nearby can get away with a substandard service all round. Understaffed and squeezing every last penny out of their customers. Food was terrible and unloved 'Iceland' quick heat up style. All in all a grim experience.

Staff are great & very welcoming. Food was very good & quantity more than ample. Priced right too. Recommended.

With the terrible snow they managed to stay open with very few deliveries and supplies beautiful meal very friendly and welcoming highly recommend a visit.

Called in on way to the airport for coffee. Browsed the menu which looked really interesting with mouth watering choices. Didn't have time to eat today but will try the menu when next in the area. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere and decor were lovely.

What a lovely pub, warm welcome beautiful fire, lovely decor, gorgeous meal could've stayed all afternoon, would love to come back.

The green emergency lamp lights up the whole room! Uncomfy bed, 1 working channel on tv, non existent Wi-Fi. Food ok, for the few minutes that it stayed warm, then cold and grim. Leaving early to catch a flight. Can't wait to get from here. Horrible start to a well earned break. Don't stay here, save your money and get a taxi to the airport instead.

Perfect location for a meal before catching a flight at Bristol airport. Food was lovely and reasonably priced, deco was nice and relaxed.

Found this place on the way to Bristol Airport and stopped for a meal. Decent food, standard pub-grub (it's part of the Marston's chain) but well executed. Crisp and fresh salad and coleslaw, and hot freshly cooked chips. It's surprising how many places do these basics badly, but not here. The staff were attentive and welcoming.

Very nice place I shall definitely be visiting again. Food and rooms were very nice.

We stopped here for lunch, and found it reasonable, friendly, and good. The pie was excellent, a proper pie with crust all around :D.

Excellent service and good quality. Perfect location to stop when using Bristol Airport. Makes sense to stop there an hour or two before checking in or picking up/dropping people off at the airport. Eat, drink and relax before the onward journey.

Great place to stay. Stayed here on an overnight trip to Bristol. It's situated outside Bristol but was easy to find. Parking is good. Staff were helpful. The cooked breakfast was filling without being over the top. Room was clean and was spacious. the view from the car park was great! the only complaint was the noise from the traffic — but that was only as I had a room facing the main road — and it did not keep me awake.

Good quality food. Reasonable prices. Perfect for stopping for lunch before heading the the airport. Parking front and rear.

The top of the bar was sticky from yesterday's spilt cider. 3 members of staff were chatting, apparently waiting for customers. The Pedigree I ordered was too warm. The Beef and Ale pie had a tiny amount of chewy, poor quality meat inside. Marstons be careful! Your brand stands for quality traditional food and not just great ale. Develop a strategy that concentrates on bigger inns where you can maintain better standards. The Fox & Goose fell well below my expectations.

Arrived early for our flight from Bristol Airport so stopped here for an early tea, six of us ate for under £35, excellent value for money and superb food! Good portions too! Food served all day!

Food is pretty good. Reasonable prices. However, Untrained staff are in — different and clearly not properly trained. The day manager on our visit 11/07/2017 was to busy trying to look busy in the kitchen and took no interest in a complaint I had about serving cold food. Took an age to find a member of staff to rectify this. This is not the first time there has been issues with serving staff. Regrettably this is the last time we visit this place. Such a shame as the chef's are let down badly by untrained waitress. Top tip. 'If you do not like your job — leave it to someone who does'. Hence the 2 stars.

Country pub on the main road out of Bristol towards the airport. Good selection of beers wines and spirits. Cosy pub with food menu.

Called in on way to the airport, staff very friendly and helpful. Been here before we couldn't complain about the food, good and plenty of it. Also really good price.

Very welcoming staff, cozy pub atmosphere. Seems like the village local with the old regulars popping in and out. Unfortunately the pub is on a busy main road, so if cars and loud motorbikes driving past all night is something you can't sleep to, this is not for you. The rooms were spacious and warm. The beds seem a little out dated (the old 'two part' Devan type my parents used to have). Breakfast was a bit standard. Only a choice of a hand made cup of tea or coffee and a full English breakfast. Apart from the accommodation, me and wife and 1yr old son did eat when checking in the night before, and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend popping in if your just fancying a bite to eat or a pint along the road.

Handy stop for a quick bite either on the way to or returning from Bristol Airport. Food Isn't going to win any awards, but good efficient service and doesn't break the wallet.

This was our 5th visit and still has Good food, good menu, excellent service, friendly staff. Excellent. Highly Recommend.

Ideal for the pre-airport stop. Food not bad. Prices for beer steep. Food always decent. No TV for sports etc which is odd.

I would give 5 stars as the food was great, however… The table was booked for 14 in advance. They had ran out of a lot of menu items (actually everything I wanted was off, including pepsi/ coke). The waiting staff have the wrong meals out (rare/ medium rare etc). The manager did a great job pulling it back by giving our table a 20% discount. I would definitely give it another go. The location is sweet and the prices are really reasonable. I'd be happy to change to 5 stars if things are a bit better next time.

I came with a group of 24 ladies Xmas meal, my wife is disabled so I have to go, I pay for my own meal. I ordered a sirloin steak rare, it came out medium to well, very pale looking without any sear or sesoning, but because they were busy I didnt complain as the wait would have meant I wouldn't have a meal.

Nice place good food and polite services. Unfortunately they're going to kick you out because of reservation and they do have free tables.

I looked on-line to see what offers there were for food. I confirmed on the phone and then booked a table. On arrival we were told how to get to our seats — not shown. The offer menu wasn't on the table, I had to go back and ask. I If I hadn't looked online I wouldn't have known about the offers available. We then had to wait over 40 mins for the food. It also says you can take away food, so when we went to order pudding to take home we were told that they didn't have anything to put it in — apart from foil. Not what it said on the menu. The food was lovely, but the service not so.

Lugar perfecto para cenar, buena comida y gente muy agradable, recomendado. Very nice place to go, very good food and staff fantastic. Recommended to dinner.

I feel the bar and restaurant area needs some decorating. It is very basic and just looks like the tables have been random ly thrown in the room. It was also quite dark in the room from lack of lighting. The food wasn't bad. For a Marston's pub I feel they could have had more of a selection of ales.

Food was very good for a marstons pub, waiter was good bar service good but the toilets let it down they were some of the worst I've ever seen, smelly dirty and in desperate need of paint! Sofa with foam hanging out wasn't very nice to look at either!

Lovely food, warned that it might be a wait, but didn't have to at all, service is absolutely excellent. Will definitely be back.

Overall totally OK. Men would say: meat and French fries! All is well.
