A lovely venue, beautiful grounds and great friendly staff.

We held our wedding at Berwick Lodge in February 2022. The staff were outstanding and so helpful… the whole day went like a dream. All our guests were as impressed as we were about the venue. It was just perfect, we wish we could do it all again.

The most beautiful romantic getaway. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms & amazing grounds around the lodge. The room was very clean, comfy bed and natural beauty products in the bathroom to use. Can't wait to come back in the future to visit again. Thank you for making our stay extra special. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing! Loved my visit here on the weekend. Our room was incredible. The hotel itself and the grounds are stunning with fabulous views. The staff were very polite and attentive. And the food was delicious and also good value. Can’t wait to come back.

We really enjoyed an afternoon tea today at Berwick Lodge. Its absolutely gorgeous, so cosy and elegant. Staff so helpful and friendly! I'm Gluten intolerant and they had lovely gf bread, cakes and scones, so there was no restrictions on what I could have! I booked another afternoon tea experience before leaving for my Mum and me to celebrate Mothers Day!

Excellent time — well looked after — good food. We can thoroughly recommend it — a step back in time!

Been here a few times and never disappoints me.
Staying overnight and dinning. This time I visited I’m pregnant so the cherry mochtail was 😍😍.
Dinner was delicious and my 8 year old son was very pleased too.

We had a wonderful romantic stay. From arrival the staff greeted us warmly & continued to make us feel welcome throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, clean with an amazing bath, we both slept well on the comfy bed. The grounds are stunning, as are the views, loved the quirky signs 😊 The service & food fabulous! Fresh, tasty & looked great, a lot sourced locally. A real hidden gem, we will return. Thank you 😊

Staff very friendly, polite and accommodating without being overpowering. Our young waitress was lovely. We had the tasting menu which was delicious and much larger than expected. Very full!

We spent a night at Berwick lodge, the setting is amazing, staff friendly and helpful.
For us the only down side was the room.
It was advertised as a double room and was the last one left.
It was more a small box room with a bathroom smaller than the average wardrobe.

Such a fabulous hotel. The staff always have a warm, professional and kind welcome. The gardens are wonderful, the food always sensational. Everyone should treat themselves to a visit here. X.

Hotel is gorgeous, incredible, amazing. Food is 5* star. The Staff go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their customers have a drama / stress free experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Our family couldn’t have asked for anything better.

We attend here every couple of months and on special occasions the staff are really lovely and always give 100%.
The owner/manager Sarah is just amazing at her job and is so welcoming.
The grounds and the upkeep of the building are outstanding.
They regularly top up log fires if you are in the room, check If all is ok, it’s also suitable for children. Pets are welcome in the large picturesque garden area.
The food is delicious and have never had a bad meal or experience.
They have even offered to personally deliver our Mother’s Day meals at no extra cost today despite the coronavirus outbreak. Thanks for all your hard work Berwick lodge.

Well what can I say, what a lovely luxurious hidden gem in Bristol. Beautiful boutique hotel, amazing building which luxurious furnishings. The staff are very attentive and welcoming nothing is to much trouble. The restaurant is ala carte and the food is truly delicious and works of art! We stayed in kappadokia, I have never stayed in such a beautiful suite, so spacious and luxury. I would 100% recommended a stay here and plan to return again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and had a lovely stay. The room was incredible. It was so clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for us — nothing was too much trouble for them.
Breakfast was great with a good choice to eat.

I stayed here in the Lykia room. It was spotlessly clean with thoughtful touches like cookies and bottled water. The bed was extremely large and comfortable. The bathroom, though small, has a lovely shower. The building and grounds are beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fault it at all.

Every year I hire one of their function rooms for my leadership strategy day. The room is excellent: spacious, well equipped and the perfect setting for deep thinking whilst being comfortable.
They offer a wonderful menu in the restaurant as part of the package as well as an afternoon tea.
Will be using it for the foreseeable future!

We had the Berwick afternoon tea, it was absolutely delicious and the staff are very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere.

Held a large event here for work, staff were patient and helpful, food and service both excellent and a fresh cooked breakfast in the morning.

Everything about our stay was amazing! Hotel staff couldn’t have done more for us. The hotel and grounds were just breathtaking. The food was to die for (they even cook fresh cookies for your room each day) … Already booked our next visit and can’t wait to go back!

My daughters wedding took place there on Saturday 30th March 2019. Glorious weather enhanced the beautiful lodge and grounds. The food was excellent and staff amazing. Excellent venue for a small wedding and overnight stay and very good value for money. Special thanks to Simone the wedding planner and Karen the lovely happy and helpful receptionist. We had our wedding here and well what can we say… the venue speaks for itself absolutely beautiful but made all the more so by everyone who works there front of house and behind the scenes. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. The service was impeccable and friendly. Emilie was amazing and supportive. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our special day.

Such a beautiful hotel within the most gorgeous grounds. The interior is amazing and the food is the best I've had yet. The service is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. I have been here twice now and can't wait to spend another weekend here.

Berwick is a fantastic setting with fantastic staff. We just renewed our wedding vows there and it was fabulous. Location — even more stunning than in photos! Staff — so welcoming and so very professional and helpful — nothing was too much trouble no matter how big or small the request. Highly recommend if anyone needs a venue. We stayed overnight on 2nd June 2018 for the wedding of my niece and what a wonderful time we had. Berwick lodge is quite magnificent, the bedrooms and superb and quite the best I have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the splendid gardens and thought how quiet and tranquil it was. The wedding breakfast and later meals were stunning, all well served by the excellent staff… who really were very excellent. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

I recently had my sister's wedding here at Berwick Lodge on Saturday the 2nd of June and the experience was an incredible one. The venue and location were both stunningly beautiful; the staff were ever-present and exceptionally helpful and also happy to serve us and do their job to a very high standard. The room I shared with my cousin was immaculately clean and well kept, in addition to being furnished with remarkable beds and wardrobes; even a balcony with an incredible view of the surrounding countryside. The 3 course meal in the evening was served to us very efficiently by the staff and we were waited on for any needs at all. The food itself was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour (salmon starter, chicken wellington main, and a sorbet frozen yogurt combination for pudding). The whole event was a resounding success, and all our invited guests have come back to the family to remark on how Berwick Lodge and the wedding itself were both extremely special!

Loved the fact there was a mini afternoon tea for kids. I enjoyed most of the items on adult afternoon tea though I didn't love all of them. Lounge was very comfortable and luxurious and we could watch the children play in the garden through the window when they needed a run around. Enjoyed live piano playing and walk in the garden afterwards.

The breakfast dish with salmon and egg was absolutely wonderful, drip coffee was surprisingly good and the presentation on all dishes is excellent. The service was wonderful here all throughout my stay, there were only a few times were I couldn’t locate the receptionist even when calling the desk. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Mixed drinks are pretty darn expensive at 10 pounds per, but I guess I am unfamiliar with costs in the area. The grounds and the building are equally beautiful, I really enjoyed the look of everything here. This was a very relaxing place to stay. My room was mostly good, I certainly liked how it looked but was struggling to comfortably maneuver through the room. I’m almost six feet tall and the Angora room’s toilet required me to lean forward to not my head and I had to reach far forward to be able to wash my hands without hitting my head. The little cubby where there is a chair was complicated to maneuver with my height. The door knob to the room could stand to be a little further away from the wall as turning the knob was quite awkward as I had little room to grip the knob. I would absolutely stay here again given the chance, my complaints were minor.

This is the most special place I've ever stayed in. We got married here and all the guests commented on what a wonderful venue it is. The rooms are spectacular and the staff are splendid.

Visited to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Thoroughly enjoyed the sample tasting menu and wine flight. Would go again.

Beautiful place, peaceful, lovely welcome and not overbearing the only feedback was that the mattress was exceptionally firm which was taken on board and hopefully the suggestion made by the pleasant lady on reception of providing mattress toppers in future will come to fruition as we would certainly come back again.

Attended a friends wedding reception. Wedding was great food was great the house amd grounds were great. However during the evening do we felt like we were a bother for the staff and the drinks were extremely expensive.

Just come back from afternoon tea to celebrate our friends 30th birthday… absolutely delicious staff couldn't do enough for us lovely selection of cakes and the sandwiches were scrumy and really hot tea and the plus side the sun was shining and had a lovely walk around the grounds …

Amazing hotel, the room was incredible. Sadly the food wasn't as good as expected and the knives were blunt. Makes cutting up tough bacon impossible.

Absolutely exquisite 7 course tasting menu (adapted for vegetarians very happily with no trouble) served with amazing wines. Attentive and friendly but non-intrusive staff, and altogether the whole experience was wonderful. The price tag is eye-watering but it's worth it.

A hidden gem. Beautiful welcoming house with wood burning fire, spectacular food and first class service. Little details like taking your coat at the door set it apart. However, as you might expect, it's not cheap at around £27 for a three course Sunday lunch and wine starting from £25 a bottle. Highly recommend.

Coming here next year for a wedding. So just a quick look, place looks amazing. Very light and toilets are spotless. So roll on next year to our visit.

Good afternoon tea served here. Sat in restaurant area rather than the smaller dark cosy room. Much lighter and better. Good selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Plenty of tea!

This is a little gem of a place tucked away on the outskirts of Bristol. The rooms are all different and fantastic the food is excellent and the staff are all very friendly. Well worth a visit for a night or weekend away. I can't wait to stay again.

Professional, helpful staff. Although they forgot my tea at breakfast. Nice tasty food, if a little bit faffy for my liking. Nice touches in the room like decent coffee and fresh fruit, but the blind was coming away from the wall and the shower had broken pieces in it. Pretty gardens and a lovely building but it's tired and could do with some love and money spent on it.

The room was lovely and really good looking with beautiful furniture. Unfortunately we had no bath which was disappointing. The grounds at the hotel were very pretty and perfect for a wedding. We had food… and its easy to see why it's award winning! Very tasty! A bit expensive, but we expected that for good food. Great stay!

Attended for a wedding. The location is fantastic with lots of open green space. The grounds are really nice and well decorated. Inside is also well decorated. There are many rooms with comfy sofas and nice dining tables. The bar serves a good range of alcohol. I really enjoyed visiting.

This is a place of great heritage. The room we had was TROYA. This room is a whole new experience of style and comfort.
We were there as a Wedging Party for the whole day. The Staff are amazing, no such thing as an empty glass. Big thanks to all the Staff well done.
The food for the Wedding meal was excellent.
I would highly recommend someone has their Wedding there. Only one downside would be the numbers, so unfortunately large parties my not be able to accommodate you. Still worth a visit for a meal or afternoon tea, and to have a look round.

Loved this place. Was given a suite at no extra charge and what a fantastic room it was! Beautiful building inside and out. Very attentive staff and a lovely breakfast. Just a few mins away from Patchway and the M5. I'd definitely stay here again!

Had to use in an emergency and phoned up at 1:30am in the morning to arrive in 20 minutes. Exceeded all our expectations and were very accommodating at very short notice. Will plan to go again under normal circumstances. Excellent service by all the staff.

We used Berwick Lodge for a with conference. It is very convenient, being near Cribb's Causeway, the facilities were good, and the meal in the restaurant superb.

It is used as a large meeting room and is very good for this for small ish businesses. The good is lovely and will cooked and presented. With a nice atmosphere and seeing to make you feel relaxed.

Superior cream tea in a wood-panelled room with log fire. The building is the sort of Victorian gothic mansion that would have sent Evelyn Waugh into a spin, but for a cream tea it serves nicely. Standard scone and tea is £8.50 a head and the full afternoon tea (minus champagne) is £19.50 and served with style in a drawing room with massive sofas and a view of the garden. The sandwiches and cakes are made in house and there are lots of them. The scones may have come from a packet, but if so it was a good one. Service was swift and obliging. It seems snobbish to point out the hotel's imperfections — the cheap and ugly fire exit and staff only signs, for example — especially as someone has put a lot of effort into making the loos so handsome, but I mention it in case the manager is reading this and is able to do something about it.

Spent two night here for a family wedding. The setting is very nice, the safe were polite, friendly and helpful and the food was good. Only thing that stops me giving 5 stars is that some of the decor in the rooms was a little shabby. Otherwise I was very pleased with my visit.

The attention to detail, hospitality and superb cuisine is fantastic, so elegant. We love it so much we are all insisting that we celebrate our birthdays here — any excuse to return. It is really worth a visit.
