Lovely hotel and brilliant staff! When my son left his dinosaur behind the staff went above and beyond to get him back to us! Thank you, from one happy little boy!

Great friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast, loved the mushrooms!

Once again the hotel has made me, husband and our dog most welcome. the hotel, is always clean tidy. Staff are amazing, helpful and happy love the pictures of old frodsham around the hotel yes its dated, yes its got pink bathrooms, but it adds to the charm food here is brilliant.

There were no double bedrooms available on my stay. The hotel made room into double with no issues.
food and drink prices very acceptable and breakfast at a time to suit on a weekend.
all in all an excellent stay.

Been here since Tuesday night — checking out Friday morning. Family room with 2 adults and 3 kids and the room hasn’t been cleaned, bin emptied or any new towels. We were not told the rooms won’t be serviced but still paid full price?!
Just went down and asked for new towels, bin liner abs for the tea tray to be restocked — I was handed four mugs all of which are tea stained and lipstick marks on the outside! When I asked I was told ‘nobody wants to work at hotels’. Then do a table with clean towels, bin liners and mugs/tea on so people can go help themselves? Really disappointing!

Fantastic hotel wonderful staff very friendly and professional 2nts here but it won't be the last will constantly use this hotel when working in this area from now on 💯😊👍

My husband and I stayed here last night. We had to pay for the room before we checked in which we have never had to do before and a little strange! When we got to the room I couldn’t believe it. It was £135 for a very very dated room. It had a pink bathroom with mould on the grout in the bathroom. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable.
The toilet seat had been strategically placed and came straight off.
I went to the reception to ask for a different room only to be told none were available. I found this hard to believe considering I had received an email asking me to upgrade to an exec room for another £50. I though £135 that we had already paid was enough considering it was double the normal rate. My husband then went to get a couple of drinks while we waited for friends to pick us up. He waited and waited and waited. Eventually the waiter returned and apologised, saying here take them. He then went to clear a blockage in the men’s loo (a normal occurrence apparently). The reception area was covered in leaves and very run down. To say we were disappointed was an understatement but the receptionist (an older woman) wasn’t interested. When we asked for the manager we were told that they weren’t available. Would not recommend.

What a fantastic hotel. The location is beautiful the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool facilities are amazing and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious 10/10 and the breakfast was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back x.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My room was extremely hot and I was transferred to another room v efficiently. Felt there were good systems to be Covid safe. As a solo traveller was comfortable.

Room we were given was dirty, had punch type holes in bathroom door, sink blocked. No way they could have made it “covid secure” if they didnt even know the sink was blocked. Got a slot to use the spa, swimming between kids dive bombing one one side swimming lessons in the other. To solace in the spar bath as kids under 12 inky allowed with adult supervision and no kids under 5. Kids from swim lessons came in with parents too busy on their phone than supervising the kids.

Had my wedding here and it was ruined by the attitude of the man running it. He was rude to my bridesmaids, kept grabbing at me and my dress when I asked him not to and to top it off he tried to give the vegans in the party the same dessert as everyone else ‘trio of desserts’ when it had been planned for month what they would be having. He lied to them telling them it was vegan, which fooled nobody, so we had to step in and make sure they got their actual dessert. The lady who was our wedding planner, kept giving us incorrect prices so last minute tried to bill us hundreds of pounds extra for her mistakes.

Room little bit dated, haven't seen a pink bathroom suite in ages! Lighting in room not particularly good, too dim. Sockets not really in right places for hairdryer, etc. Hospitality tray located too low down — weird. Big TV though!

Nice hotel great view. Pool and fitness center. Friendly staff. Big room. Ok breakfast buffet. No a. C. Tiny tv. Basic decor. Creaky mattress. Overall a bit disappointed in the dated room. For the 90+ quid I spent for b+b for one person but it did what I needed, was convenient for where I needed to be and would consider going again if just for the ability to end (or start) my day with a swim.

Set in a wonderful location. Staff always friendly and helpful. Pool area recommended. Not tried dining room yet but small bar has some interesting regulars, including strawberry and rhubarb cider.

Location wonderful if you're looking for peace and quiet. Magnificent views, friendly obliging staff. Breakfast cooked to order.

Absolutely stunning veiws! It's just at a really lovely location That's relaxing and great for both leisure or business trips. Was really impressed and looking forward to my next stay.

Large off road car park. Room upgraded when Diamond select card mentioned. Room provided was large and good decor. Internet connection worked fine. Breakfast offered a good selection and good quality. Evening meal offered reasonable choice, but no mention of how Dinner bed and breakfast rate was calculated, with dishes offered, but I was just charged the amount as per the booking. Main course was supplied without the potatoes in the dish's description. No winter sale rates available on the day stayed unlike other BW hotels in the surrounding area. Another stay in 2018. Again this time not participating in any of the offers other BW hotels offering. Reasonably high priced but within the location I wanted to be.

The portion of chicken was too big but hot. The food has improved in the last months.

I would visit again this hotel. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Swimming pool is a plus for Best Western Hotel.

We used this hotel for a group meal of 70 people. The staff were very helpful and communicated constantly through the whole process from initial quote to delivery. On the day the food was good and the view was magnificent. Rochdale Friends of Tourcoing thank the staff greatly.

Attended a training course here, very good facilities. Good food for lunch at reasonable price. One pet hate £3.80 for a pint of coke! Great views of the surrounding countryside.

Great for romantic nights, good size room and spotless as well. Throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately we did not get get to try the pool or restaurant so I can't comment on them. Staff were friendly and the only thing I could fault was that our room was cold due to a radiator problem. I'm sure if I had of seid someone would of been up or moved us to another room but we decided not to complain until the morning.

Very good hotel, staff very nice upgraded room, only sad point chicken burger was like a Tesco frozen bun was cold. Basic happy meal. Gunniess was cold. Would use again but not the bar food.

A friendly greeting from the receptionist on arrival and straight forward check in. The family rooms are spacious, clean and good value for money. The rooms were warm enough, however the radiators and bathroom heated towel rail would not work which created problems with drying towels and costumes after swimming. I telephoned reception 4 times to advise them but no one answered the phone! It was not a big deal more a minor irritation. The gym and swimming pool are excellent and the staff in this area are excellent and cannot be faulted. We had dinner twice in the restaurant, and should have realised why there was hardly anyone in there, both times the area was freezing cold. On the first night I had to go back to my room to get my coat as it was so cold. The food was poor on both occasions, (although the children enjoyed theirs from the mini menu)! I sent my main meal back on the second evening, it was tasteless and greasy. No apology given and no discount to the bill applied as I'd prepaid which was very disappointing. Breakfast was of a decent standard and plentiful, the staff were attentive and polite. Overall a good stay and will return, however I will make dinner reservations elsewhere.

Very nice spacious family room. Went for a wedding evening do. Buffet food very nice and hot. Beer prices higher than usual but about normal for a hotel. Slept very well with no disturbances at all. Did not stay for the breakfast in the morning so could not comment.

Re-furbished room good. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent location for views and open air. Catered for party very well, all dishes well prepared with prompt service and no undue waiting for everyone to be served or between courses.

Great location lovely looking hotel. Staff welcoming. Swimming pool good. Not sure about bar and restaurant times? The rooms are big. Our only problem was room 91 had a big extractor fan outside every half hour it went off not bad.

Have been visiting this superb Hotel and its beautiful and peaceful surroundings for more than 15 years. Each time we return we stay longer. Would not do that if there was any cimplaint.

Really nice staff. We arrived to find our room was occupied yet their computer system said the room was empty. Long story short the could not do enough for us and was rectified the next day. Found the stay lovely and facilities were great. The other half even went to do some Thai Chi.

Spent two nights at the Forest Hills hotel while visiting family. Our room had a good view overlooking the Wirral. Room was clean and in good working order. The bed was particularly comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to take advantage of the gym and pool facilities (which are also well used by the local community) Staff were all helpful and friendly. Only two minor points, at breakfast we had to borrow cups and cutlery off one of the other tables as the table we wanted to sit at wasn't properly made up. And some minor distrubance by room service trolleys in the evening.

Nice location with great views of the surrounding area. Frodsham seems to be a nice area. Hotel is ok, staff friendly and very helpful. Food could be improved upon considering the price — my burger was no better than a fast food one at four times the price. In fact I've looked elsewhere for other nights of my stay even though it would be simpler for me to eat in the hotel. Gym looks good tho pool is too small for a decent swim.

This is a good hotel with food facilities and great staff. We attended for my brothers wedding ceremony and then stopped overnight in the Hotel. The event was well organised and was great fun. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful. It's a proper hotel as opposed to the likes of budget hotels. Everything was in a great condition — even the old pink bathroom furniture. Everything really was clean though and we had a great breakfast in the morning. My only complaints were how hot the room was, it was sweltering and the window would hardly open. A bigger selection of beer would have been better too.

I have stayed here before but I was very disappointed with this visit. The room looked nice but only one tiny radiator worked. We had to ask for a portable heater as the air in the room was so cold. The shower button kept falling off and I had to hold the button to change the power. One of the light bulbs on the mirror was broken. When I woke this morning and went to the bathroom I found the blind, which hadn't fitted the window properly, lying on the window ledge.
When I reported all the faults to reception they said they's get maintenance to fix them. I told them I was disappointed but never got an apology. It was 'Faulty Towers' all the way. For the money I spent I expect better than this. I had asked for a room with a bath and a view. Instead I got a room with a broken shower and a view of the car park! To say I'm unhappy doesn't cover it. Trip Adviser will be getting a review as well.

Room 222 executive room. Twin shower. Huge bed. Clean and all the usual niceties. Breakfast good. Pleasant staff. Public areas clean and tidy.

16/09/17 Bar maid was very professional with exceptional manners. Very disappointed with the managers attitude this evening. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for this reason.

We stayed here as part of a coach party visiting Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. Staff were all very welcoming and well organised. The restaurant and public spaces are light and spacious. Rooms comfortable and clean. The views are simply fabulous! Food was better than usual, and I was pleased to see cheese & cold meats as part of the breakfast options. The fresh bread at breakfast is lovely too! We would happily come back here again.

Good location, nice views. Rooms clean and simple — good value for the price paid. Dinner was a bit slow (wedding party getting priority), and staff full of trainees, but otherwise okay.

Spacious room with TV and hot drink making facilities. En suite bathroom which though slightly dated is clean. Breakfast is a buffet style with choice of cereal, fruit, fruit juices, yogurt and a large cooked selection. Tea, coffee and toast brought to your table. Restaurant has a lovely view of the surrounding area.

The leisure centre here is lovely. Great pool with a baby pool attached, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. We come here regularly for a swim and a wind down with the family and the staff are always very friendly. There are also lots of exercises classes to attend and a gym, and the changing rooms are good — plenty of space, 4 showers in the ladies with adjustable temperature and power. What more could you want!

Great food, great service, great facilities, and if you play Pokémon GO there's six Pokéstops and a Pokémon gym right outside, a literal stones throw away.

I attended a conference hosted at the Forest Hills. The staff were very friendly, facilities were clean and the food was fantastic.

Great location. I only nipped in for some refreshments during a cycle.

Breakfast was OK. Loads of choice on buffet. Family room was large and beds comfy. Bath was very slippy so a bath mat would help especially trying to bath kids. Didn't manage to use swimming pool but from what we saw it was clean and plenty of space. Lovely views from the bar area.

Good hotel with a great panoramic view of the local area from the restaurant. Leisure facilities are also good — if you look past the old fashioned and poor quality changing facilities — with a large pool, spa, sauna, steam room and well equipped gym.

Best Western is great for business trips around the country. Breakfast is always of a high standard, rooms are clean and well kept and service is impeccable.

Bed was terrible. Tossed and turned until 5:30am then went outside and slept in car. Woke too late for breakfast. Won't be staying in a best western again, premier inn is far better.

Had a really nice stay. Just come back from a two night mid-week break with my husband. Our room was a good size, bed was HUGE and we had sliding doors leading to a balcony. Only down side was the bathroom it was a little dated decor wise and the cold tap continually came off in your hand but a minor irritatant. The pool, spa bath (jacuzzi) more than made up for this. We did not eat on-site or use room service so cannot comment on this, though we believe the high prices would reflect the hotel using quality locally sourced ingredients.

Husband booked a night as a surprise for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel upgraded us to a beautiful suite for our stay. We had our wedding reception up at the hotel 25 years ago so it was lovely to return.

All you need from a gym, if a little small and difficult to use when busy.

Weekend break re-union booked for here. Two families of 4 with pre-school kids. Wanted a place with a pool. Place ok. Clean. Nice location. Really no different to a 29 quid premier inn. Other than the dated tired looking pool. Upon arrival no cot in bedroom. We'd rang before setting off to request one. We'd asked at check in if there was one. Yes we were told. No sign of it. We rang from the room. "have you asked for one". We still had no cot at 7 pm, our little ones bed time. Eventually it came. But not without a considerable amount of stress. You can't eat here until after 7 pm. Restaurant only opens at 7 pm. Too late for little ones. We'd been for a swim. Snacks available from poolside bar. But can't order meals from there until after 6 pm. Ie pizza. Scampi. Etc. First night we waited nearly 40 mins for food. Second night, after a long day out we decided it would be easier to eat here if we allowed for the 40 min wait so we ordered whilst children still asleep in car. An hour later no food. Half of one family meals then appeared, and half the others. That is one family the grown ups food came, children left to starve, the other family the childrens meal arrived, grown ups left to starve. Bar tender very apologetic. Complaint to reception seemed to have couldn't care less attitude. Chef then rang down to bar tender and gave him a rollicking. Not his fault. Poor soul. He was the only one that seemed to care. Better off at a premier inn.

Been there many times as I used to live in frodsham so when I visit I allways go there food is fab and the staff helpfull.

Great hotel for family breaks! Love facilities and food + great staff :o).
