We attended an event that was booked at the hotel and can recommend. The team at Best Western looked after us well and the conference rooms were great for the meeting. There is also parking available, just make sure you give the reception your registration number!

Hotel was lovely. Lots of character. Rooms very clean and comfy. The meal we had which was included in our package was exceptional, lots of choice and very well presented. Breakfast was of the same standard. Customer service was excellent. All staff very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel. Visitors are able to sit and relax in the comfortable seating area in the reception area or enjoy a drink in the bar. First class.

Well I had arrived early they said I am but they looked and gave me and it rather a nice room. Thank you. I will come again has I travel from a distance. I had time to review what you have given me and tomorrow I will add more the evening meal is lovely and it for nominal. Made my evening I filled up. But in a good way.

Our second stay at the Crewe Arms. Can't fault it… everything excellent. Lovely big warm rooms, spotlessly clean. We had a huge bathroom with bath & shower. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is buffet style and there's loads of choices. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back.

Only visited during the day, however this glorious old railway hotel was a shadow of it's former self. Reception rooms were dark, mainly because of poor lighting and it was pretty ghostly as there was virtually no one there! The coffee that was served was like warm, but the sandwiches were tasty. It was hard to hear the talk that was being given as there was lots of clattering noise coming from the kitchen. All in all a little sad & tired : (

Staff are all excellent and very friendly. Hotel is urban so don't expect trees and grass. Decor is plain but functional. Bar restaurant is smart.

Helpful and friendly staff on check-in, for breakfast and check-out. Room was big and bed was comfy, good shower and other facilities too. Only downside was the heat, no room control just central heating and it was stifling. Couldn't sleep so called reception who tried to turn the boiler down but brought us iced water to help!

I arrived extremely late at past midnight. I was very tired. The two night staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming. The hotel itself was mediocre, but the customer service made it feel like a 5 star hotel. I needed to leave very early the next morning before breakfast but again the night staff made sure there was something left out for me to eat and again showed me where everything was and made me feel extremely welcome. I could not recommend this hotel strongly enough!

Perfect location if you are traveling by train. Staff is very cooperative. Food is also good. Only issue I have is that their hearing system is not so good. The staff immediately provides portable heaters whenever requested, but for this price I expect good central heating system. Otherwise no problem.

Nada muy pesimo y horrible, para que limpiaran la habitacion tardaron 4 dias, todo sucio y roto, la puerta del baño no cierra, eñ techo del baño se cae a cachos, la bañera cada vez que te bañas pierde agua.
Por no hablar del equipo de limpieza… Cada vez que vienen, aparece otra cosa rota, el polvo ni lo quitan, solo cambian las toallas y el te y se marchan, tardaron 4 dias en haver la limpieza de la habitacion y aun asi, no la limpiaron del todo.
Muy muy pesimo, aparte de caro, no merece ni la pena venir, es una estafa.
No lo recomiendo a nadie!

Nothing very bad and horrible, to clean the room took 4 days, all dirty and broken, the bathroom door does not close, the ceiling of the bathroom falls to pieces, the bathtub every time you bathe loses water.
Not to mention the cleaning equipment … Every time they come, another broken thing appears, the dust does not take it off, only the towels and tea are changed and they leave, it took 4 days to clean the room and still, they did not clean it at all.
Very very bad, apart from expensive, it is not worth the trouble to come, it is a scam.
I do not recommend to anybody.

This is a nice hotel good food beds very cosy staff excellent only thing bit hard for sleep if your on platform side of crew train station.

Stayed at this hotel for a day's shopping in Crewe. Just across the road from the railway station and within easy walking distance from town. The welcome was warm and friendly, dinner was delicious and drinks very reasonably priced. The only let down was the breakfast service but I am confident this was a one off and will not happen when we use this hotel again. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's friendly atmosphere and 5* service.

Terrible dirty hotel didn't have the right room. When I got the room it was not clean. Bed looked like someone had defecated in the bed and the sheets hadn't been washed out properly.

Was pleasantly surprised by the overall standard of the hotel. We stayed as part of a national express deal which included a three course evening meal. The rooms were of a good size with the usual facilities in the ensuite. The only comment I would make is to try to get a room at the front of the hotel. Although it was fun watching the commuters during the day, during the night there was some major track work going on, which could disturb your night's sleep, even though the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is near the train station but it did not bother me at all. Slightly worn and the room had poor storage and lighting. The bed was way too soft. The bar/breakfast area is very nice. The staff is very nice.

Top service from the staff today. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done. Xx.

Easy access for town and trains. Hotel us comfortable and has terrific friendly staff.

Always call in to the bar when I'm traveling to and from Crewe by train. Recently refurbished giving the bar a great feel.

Pretty run down to be honest. And the food was shocking.

Great facilities beds a bit soft breakfast was full English very well presented continental was available full selection of fruit and yogurt.

Old style hotel. Spotlessly clean. Nice staff… Can't really ask for anything else.

Excellent staff and reception was very fast. Food excellent but serving area very chaotic for a coach group. Room very clean and pleasant, could have done with fan and a mat for shower in bath. Well worth a visit.

Stayed there one night, the room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast provided was satisfying. Being over the road from a train station, a certain amount of background noise was inevitable but was never irritating.

If you've got a bit of a wait for your train, nip in for a nice cup of coffee next to reception. There's a screen nearby showing train times, which is rather useful. Staff were really friendly.

Overall a nice hotel. Lovely staff. They have done some refurbing which has been done to an OK standard but our bathroom had issues with the floor grouting coming away in a few places and the sink plughole not operating properly. But overall a good experience and we would stay there again.

Went into this hotel to continue a business meeting. Three weeks later I received a parking fine for £60. The parking signs are designed very poorly, deliberately so. They look like you can park there as long as you are in the hotel, not so. If you read the small print on the sign (and it is small) you find out you can't Not only that but I asked in the bar if I was ok to park there and was told yes. Absolutely outrageous.

After a very pleasant stay 6 months ago and discovering their excellent Sunday lunch deal we got round to trying it out. £9.99 for a three course meal which changes weekly and is home made and locally sourced is always good. And that's what you get. It's great and we'd definitely go again. Don't tell everyone though. It's a secret. Book early too. It's popular.

Property in old English style. Friendly staff and good value. Decent rooms and good breakfast. To work is an acceptable accommodation.

Rooms were immaculate service was wonderfully couldn't find a single fault, no Noise from train staion witch is very close by and rooms are really cheap with breakfast included in the price. Would recommend to everyonr.

The area around it is a dump but the hotel is good and well priced. Very convenient for the station.

I can be on the Hotel, unfortunately, not a lot of Good writing. It is tried in an old but noble style to hold, however, is not achieved. It starts with the fact that you as a room key, a white card without any Information. The rooms are unfavorably distributed, so that the whole building needs to run. The heating in the room didn't work properly. This was a small fan heater, which, however, is a No-Go for the price range should be. The room was quite small, so that only a narrow passage next to the bed and had a little in front of the bed. The breakdown in the bathroom was also modestly chosen. Every woman would have cursed a back set up a mirror to find. It was senseless way, two taps. One for cold and one for warm. Thus, one always had to be under both normal warm water. On the last day was a broken water pipe. There was no cold water. The Breakfast was a full English Breakfast is acceptable. However, 10 pounds to pay for is unrestrained exaggerated. The Only thing that I as well can assess is the bed. It was very pleasant to Sleep in.

I've stayed in the hotel for about repeatedly for about 4 months June to Sept 2014. I didn't choose it because I liked it or because of any allegiance — it was convenient for work. Given that, and how long I was there, I feel I can give an objective review. Plus, they just refurbished it, so a new review. Room — bed excellent, well provisioned (Sky, kettle, Ironing board etc), shower excellent. Given the room is the basis of what the hotel provides, good start. Breakfast — decent. Solid. Got both continental and traditional options, well cooked, constantly restocked. Nothing stand out. Staff — Not got a bad thing to say about any of them after four months. I've worked in Customer Service and I'm generally critical of staff, no issues. Evening Food — Only bit I wasn't entirely happy with. I mean. Still a solid 3/5 for hotel food — a little overpriced for what it is — but having eaten it so much I guess I'm a bit tired of it. Wi fi is good, hotel is clean. I've stayed in worse places with more stars.

I wouldn't recommend using that hotel. It was disgusting, dirty, no heating, mould in the bathroom, fag burns in the bed covers and only a thin sheet apart from the fag burnt bed cover. I tried a second room and although it was cleaner there was still no heating and when I turned in the shower after loads of coughing and spluttering from the tap, the bath just filled up and wouldn't drain away. I'd had enough at this point so I left.

Avoid this hotel. They use a shameless, thuggish company called ParkingEye to extort £100 bills out of elderly persons who use their car park. Avoid.

The room we had was dreadful. Broken lock on door (which looked as if it had been kicked in), blood on the towels, broken fan which was replaced with another that did not work, no kettle, one mug and one dirty cup. Left before the night was over as the place wasn't fit for a dog.

Stayed only one night, that was enough. Rooms shabby, service poor waited 10 mins for somebody to bring a menu, then had to go find them to order. No breakfast, nobody in reception when we went to pay the next morning. Don't bother with this one.
