I can't say enough great things about the Coach House. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, the staff was personable and helpful. The morning manager was a GEM, and added a little bit of laughs to our breakfast. If I'm ever in Chester again, I'll stay here.

The staff were very welcoming and it had a lovely atmosphere and stylish decor. The drinks were nicely served, along with I jug of iced water served with out meal. The food was amazing, best food I've had in a very long time.

Excellent food, staff extremely hard working, friendly & polite. Gooseberry cheesecake is something else! Amazing value with 50% off too… Happy days!

Very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are luxurious. All of the staff are superb. They cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend the Coach House and we intend coming back to stay early in the New Year.

Visited the Coach House again today since before the first covid lockdown. Happy to say the food was excellent but the staff were exceptional. Customer service was at the forefront of everyone’s mind and we really enjoyed our time with you. Well done to you all.

We visited The Coach House Inn, for the first time. We were not disappointed. Attentive staff, amazing food. Will definitely return next time we visit Chester.

Very recently stayed here for a couple of nights with my children. The hotel was lovely, biggest hotel room I've ever had. The staff are brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and cooked to order. I would definitely stay here again.

Feeling thankful that this is our local. Can not fault the staff and the service always amazing. Never anything but the warmest of welcomes. But then there is the food. Best in Chester by a long way. Recomend all of it. Pizza, Xmas dinner, Sunday dinner. But just had the Lamb salad and as a chef myself can honestly say it's the best dish I have ever eaten. Awesome work from an awesome team. Frankly, just glad to be in their innovative response to Covid dining out restrictions… its been a frequent place for us anyway. Love the interior decor and draught beer with great value food :-)

My wedding reception was held at the Coach House last Saturday. It was simply perfect. Elisher, the General Manager, is lovely. Very thoughtful and extremely organised!
The room was set up perfectly and the service was fabulous. A special mention must be said for the food. It is truly superb. Serving almost 30 people with no mistakes, each course was fresh and delicious. Every guest enjoyed it. I would highly recommend the Coach House as a wedding venue. Flawless x.

Would highly recommend, we stayed for 1 night. Huge, beautiful quirky rooms and great breakfast menu. Perfect location And nearby parking. We only had breakfast here but we did have a few drinks in the bar which was buzzing and vibrant and the food looked amazing. Too. We will definitely be returning.

Just spent an amazing weekend here! Cannot fault this place. The staff were so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fantastic and the food was exceptional. Look forward to staying here again.

Absolute brilliant atmosphere great service genuine lovely place to spend a few hours.

So we had a variety of starters, garlic bread, baked Camembert & mozzarella wrapped in crispy Parma ham. All excellent and cooked to perfection. Our mains were sirloin steak, gammon, rack of ribs and Seabass on a Thai curry base. Again, all excellent and cooked to perfection. We felt very relaxed throughout the meal, no rushing us or pressure in any way. Service from bar staff and waiting on staff was excellent too. Literally cannot find fault! Two of our party are Gluten free and we had a wide range of options for us available. Definitely would recommend and are returning in two weeks time! Xx.

Love the food, the atmosphere and Max our waiter who was very efficient, funny and ‘bless him’ even looked at our holiday photos (weird photos my husband takes while I’m driving)

Lovely pub, in the heart of Chester so definitely one to visit if you're visiting Chester and looking for a lovely pub/hotel. The breakfast is to die for. The service was brilliant, could not fault and will definitely be returning.

Wonderful hotel. Booked all the rooms for our wedding last week. And were joined by more family and friends for breakfast. Service and food was brilliant. Lovely staff. Thank you for our stay!

Stopped for Sunday dinner. Sunday Roasts were good, homemade sausage rolls were very nice too but homemade chips were poor. Staff didn't charge for the poor chips though so the service raised my rating above average.

Hotel and restaurant, but they haven't forgotten customers who just want a drink. Always a minimum of 3 cask beers on hand pump + guest beers. I have always had a warm welcome here.

Worst service I’ve ever received and it’s a shame as it’s somewhere I have been coming for years! We got asked to leave because our friends didn’t buy drinks even though we had bought drinks and they were sat with us! I’d understand if it was busy, but there were loads of empty tables and even other people sat without drinks on a Sunday afternoon, when mentioning this to the person who claimed to be the manager they walked off on us even after we accepted to buy more drinks! Never known anything like this, really rude and obnoxious behaviour from somewhere you would expect to be professional and being made to feel unwelcome as a paying customer! Even the other customers around us were shocked. I wouldn’t recommend coming here! Very sad and I hope the couch house sort this and continue with the good service we have received here in the past!

We stayed last night for the races, lovely room comfortable bed! Really friendly staff making you feel welcome. We had lunch yesterday which was fantastic & breakfast this morning was the best breakfast we have had on our weeks holiday. All ingredients are locally sourced and you can definitely tell that. The location of where it is is perfect to see everything. We don’t have anything bad to say about here wish we could stay longer & will definitely be staying here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chester. The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and lovely and the food is fabulous. The location is perfect just opposite the cathedral. My only concern for others would be if you are a very light sleeper as it is in the city centre so there is some noise at kicking out time, it didn't disturb me though.

Nice staff and nice vegan options! We had the vegan nachos and the vegan sweet potato burger. Made fresh and very tasty!

Came here for a pre-theatre meal and I couldn't fault a single thing. The service was fast and attentive without being intrusive, the food was lovely and the pint of Estrella one of the best I've had. Will definitely be back!

Great pub nice and lively good food menu at reasonable prices. Nice quirky lay out with a variety of seating from sofas to bar stools. Small outdoor seating area and I think a smoking area at the rear. The staff where very good and the food service was quick. Food was quite nice good value and nicely presented. Overall a good experience, can get really busy but usually only a short wait for a table.

The Coach House Inn is located near the Town Hall and Chester Cathedral, which is perfect for graduation and to all Chester has to offer. My parents and I stayed here when I graduated in 2012. The rooms were nicely decorated and was very comfortable. Each room had it's own theme and chandelier. I've also eaten here for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The food is always good! Recently, I had the opportunity to eat here with my friends. I had the fish pie, which was rich and delicious!

Loved the gin of the week and it was great to be able to have a drink outside in the sunshine with friends. Food smelt amazing so will be returning to try out the food! It was a little busy but not surprising for a hot Saturday evening. Lovely decor and friendly staff.

Perfectly positioned hotel, parking very close near by. Hotel staff were lovely, and helpful. Breakfast was spot on. The room was lovely and very spacious. Loved looking across to the cathedral, and being right in the centre. The biscuits were a nice touch too.

Loved the stay here. The room was massive and beauttifully decorated and very clean. The view was amazing with three massive tudor windows looking onto Chester cathedral, the centre off Chester city and police station all very beautiful and historical. The room also had everything from iron and board, hairdryer, kettle with plenty off sugar, coffee and tea. Water in fridge. Remember to ask for milk though because they give you fresh to put in your fridge. Free breakfast in morning. Lots of choice. Orange and apple juice plus tea and coffee. All staff really friendly. Whats not to love?!?!

Food out of this world! The pork belly was succulent and the pea & mint tortellini was cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend eating here and is worth the cost.

Great location, in the very centre of the city, next to the town hall and opposite the cathedral. Decent beer selection. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The pub has a beer garden, something of a rarity for city centre pubs.

Great food. Just had the standard Burger and fries. Friendly service. Bit of a long wait though when its busy. Food is worth spending a bit extra on as it's quite nice.

We went to The Coach House for breakfast and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was really quick. My only piece of constructive criticism for them is that they should make their breakfast menu available outside, we almost didn't go in because we could only see a day menu so they may be losing some custom from people not willing to go in and ask.

Wow what a great menu so refreshing to have so much choice. Food was excellent and a very generous serving. Some areas are dog friendly which is always a bonus. Couldn't fault this place!
