Had a lovely experience in the day time, food was good. Service was good, but night time couldn’t sleep. Had the loudest pipe going on in the night outside our room. Wasn’t able to get much sleep. Especially to begin with. I don’t know if it was a fault or it does it all the time. Really need to get that sorted.

Simple hotel with all the modern amenities like mixing faucets and mixing shower. Solid non-creaking floors. Equipped with a fan for summer. Next to M1 motorway service stop. Room may be a bit small for three. Only hot water kettle, no microwave.

Wonderful hotel, very clean and tidy. Considering its next to the M1 you can't hear the traffic which is helpful. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious also staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Recommend to anyone who is passing by and looking for a good night's sleep. Food is also very very nice.

Room was clean but in desperate need of an update. The bed was terrible, not comfy at all, I could feel the springs in my back — completely lost all tension. Take your own pillows as the 1x each is also terrible and lumpy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a buffet breakfast — ok if you like Yorkshire tea.

Staff is friendly, room is big for a family size room but there seems to be some weird noise underneath! We stayed at the first floor and friends seems to notice some sort of noises as well! It goes on around in the midnight and sounds like washing machines! Really annoying! Otherwise can’t complain for the price!

Good sized rooms. Secluded from the Motorway. Clean & comfortable. 12 minute drive to Milton Keynes through beautiful countryside.

Very poor service Over priced Sheets are cheap and have marks on them Ask for a different room but was denied even though there was only a handful of people there And all you hear all night long are lorrys on m1

Where to start… We arranged to stop for an extended period. In the first room we were given, the TV had no English subtitles, believe me we tried all the submenu's but could only get Romanian! I need subtitles as I am deaf. We were given a different room on the same floor… the bathroom flooded overnight due to water coming in the extraction fan vent. We were moved again and suffered 4 hotel evacuations due to other guests smoking in their rooms and setting fire alarms off! On the plus side, staff are friendly and helpful. Would we stay there again… No.

Emily is hands down the most helpful hotel staff member I have ever met. Nothing was too much, and I can be awkward. I felt welcome and at home. Couldn't praise her enough. I actually had to reset my gmail password to leave the review but I couldn't let her outstanding performance go unsaid. A big pay rise is certainly needed. I even offered a to buy her a drink and she just smiled and no need always happy to help.

The hotel is very clean. We had breakfast there and that was really nice. Also the staff were very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very clean and well-decorated and equipped for every eventuality. Good bar area and free newspapers. Staff were very helpful — Gen and Danni in particular! A good stopping off point between south and north. Only criticism was that the rooms were very hot even in the middle of winter. Otherwise we couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend.

Reasonably nice looking hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Obviously as it based in the services don't expect amazing surrounding facilities other than the services. There was damp smell throughout most of our stay which was only in the reception area but still not very pleasant. Room was clean and had everything needed, the bed was very comfortable, price was also not expensive at all, so worth staying for a business related trip, short family visits, nights out etc.

Had a lovely stop over here. Perfect for traveling. It's quite out of the way so would have to drive if you wanted to go anywhere. But great value for money clean and comfortable.

On the M1 you would expect ear plugs to be required, not the case. Nicely sound proofed room that I was in, odd bang here and there. Clean and comfortable feeling room, small bathroom but expect a hot shower. Take your own soap, the one provided isn't very potent. The bed is comfortable and pillows felt just right proportion. Breakfast was not included with my stay (cheap agent), little excessive breakfast option all you can eat for £9.99. I sisnt check if there were other options upon seeing this and decided to dine elsewhere. Overall though a pleasant stay.

Bin broken, didn't open with pedal. Toilet didn't flush properly. Everything else good but slightly harder than necessary to get to and the pin didn't work to open the gate (but a call got it opened).

It was okay but not good… I was not that happy with the cleaning services and the reception, When we arrived it was no hand soap (its a basic thing please…) I asked on the reception 3 times during our stay and the soap container was not refilled at all. The room door was small so it has a huge (HUGE yes, I mean it) gap between the floor and the door, you can see the feet of people on the hall plus I found 3 huge spiders on my clothes on the 2nd day of my stay… I will not be back for sure.

Good location. Only one pillow each. Asked for extra and was told they didn't have any extra ones as people keep stealing them. Woke up with sore neck. Staff were friendly. Rooms clean and tidy.

Uncomfortable bed, thin towels, appalling bar (severely limited choice and dreadfully slow service). However, food (once it arrived) was excellent. Staff seemed friendly but inefficient and incompetent.

A lovely little hotel within an obscure motorway service area. Quite deceptively subdued looking from the outside but it is undeniably attractive once you step into the lobby. Staff were mature and knowledgeable; and really pleasant too. Check in was swift and my double room even though a bit cramped, was clean and smelled fresh. Room layout was very simple but efficient. Bathroom appeared to have had a recent refurb. Even the carpet appeared new and felt very lush under bare feet. The double bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous and felt exclusive as only a handful of people were in the area — could be the result of having to cough up a tenner for breakfast. All in all a really nice hotel. Will recommend.

Nice hotel, good size rooms and clean. Would definitely go back. My guests had no complaints and they arrived from Holland and travel all over the world. We were spending time in Milton Keynes at a fashion show.

Service was great on arrival, staff were very pleasant. I had a twin room, lovely and clean, shower was good and beds were very comfortable. Room was also very cool which was nice as it has been a hot day. Only downside I think is the small selection of draught drinks at the bar.

We stayed here one night, our room was very good the staff were helpful and friendly.

Been to the hotel on a number of occasions and never had a bad word to say. However on my most recent visit (12th June) I was asked to pay the fee again after already paying online the day before. They told me there was no payment made the day before. I checked my statement a few days later and noticed I was charged twice. They've told me I booked for a different day a month later (which I did not do! ) And that they would not be refunding one of the payments because 'if everyone done that they wouldn't make money'. Which makes no sense as they've now doubled their earnings from myself for one nights stay. Will not be going back again and I'm also looking to take this further.

Good hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Downside — they have no own kitchen and you should go to nearby services for hot meal but it's only fast food there.

Easy to find located on the m1 and near the lovely town of Newport Pagnell. Lovely quiet hotel, friendly helpful service, clean modern rooms. Had a lovely stay.

Got 2 last minute rooms. Service was good, staff were pleasant, rooms were clean. Location was a slight issue as sat nav wanted us to take the motorway when there was no need to but we were pre warned of this on the phone when confirming the booking.
