Room smells like an ashtray staff seem dull lift stinks of mold very dated and hygiene probably went out the window where all the cigarettes went terrible. It's very cheeply priced because of this and not a great deal around but they have a pool and gym.

The rooms are showing their age but are all accessible and good value. Decent breakfast is extra but worth it.

A comfortable hotel. Fantastic access for those with disabilities.

Great location for the National Spinal Injury Centre at Stoke Mandeville as it's located at the back of the hospital. The whole building and all the rooms are wheelchair friendly too. All rooms have wetroom with either a low level bath or roll in shower, company twin beds, tea/coffee facilities and a TV. Free Parking is limited outside but there is a p/d car park at the adjacent sports centre I a chair user and use it on a regular basis and would recommend it.

Rooms are great for disabled access with wide doorways and wet rooms. However the Lodge has become run down in the last few years and is in desperate need of investment and refurbishment. Still, it's clean and warm, no frills accommodation.

Basic accommodation not B&B had to pay of breakfast in the sports centre next door. Room large with decent size beds, soft. Wet room large but decor needs attention. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Very suitable for disabled visitors. Carpark small but more spaces available at sports centre.

The current Olympic Lodge is feeling a little tired in the rooms but I know that a refurbishment is imminent for both the rooms and catering, so be sure to check for newer reviews that this one (April 2018). The staff however are friendly and helpful, access to the gym at Stoke Mandeville Stadium (literally across the car park) is a great bonus included in the room rate. Looking forward to coming again after the upcoming refurbishment.

Attended training session, meeting facilities seemed a bit dated and could do with refurb. Cafe was nice and clean and food was ok. Had a quick look at gym facilities they looked good.

The uncomfortable beds and we were annoyed a lot of those across the street who were drunk and until we didn't complain and rightly because we couldn't sleep for 3 hours they did nothing. I wouldn't go back.

Place was rotten big stains on the ceiling were the room above had leaks. The bathroom was black with mould. There were customers in the hallway shouting & screaming and fighing with eachother so complained staff did nothing then the customers made up but sat in the hall talking very loud. Not nice place.

This hotel is in need of reservation and a good clean. Bathroom was dirty, nets at window were black at the bottom. 1 hand towel and a small bath towel for 2 people. Took staff 15 minutes to attend to a room alarm on second floor at 23:45 and he was knocking on their door for another 15! However 1 star gained due to ideal location next to stadium.

Read the reviews of this place before going and was a bit unknowing of what I was going to. However after two weeks I'm pleased to say they've defiantly improved massively based on their reviews. Bed was comfy, room was clean and staff were very friendly. Huge praises to the lady who made my breakfast every morning, Was amazingling friendly always asked how I was and didn't stop smiling. The food was also V good. If anything stay here for the lady in the restraunt. One small thing the drain was blocked for my shower on my first night and flooded my room (bathroom is a wet room)

As expected for the price. Room was pretty clean, shower was hot and powerful and reception staff friendly. Beds could have been firmer.

Place is a dump. Walked into our room and one of the beds looked like someone had just jumped out of it, bin full of rubbish and towels filthy on the floor. It's cheap but not worth the money! Will not stay here again.

Clean, helpful staff but basic accommodation. Our room had only one towel, basic tea and coffee but milk not replaced overnight. Saggy bed. Breakfast in the stadium very poor quality though enough of it. Wouldn't book again.

Well, I truly expected that this place will be much clearer than was. Basic service, which was fine for me, spacious enough for wheelchair users, comfy bed, terrible pillows. Only one thing, not clean enough. Sorry.

Unhelpful lady on reception. Shabby rooms with faulty/dirty equipment. Great guy on reception at night. Ok breakfast (but in a different building).

Wanted a cheep last minute hotel found this one. First impression front desk staff very helpful especially this guy called Kevin at the desk. Room was large and clean and a decent size bath. Coffee tea etc were in the room but no drinking water. Breakfast in the morning is good value for money. Overall I think it's good value for money.

Just arrived and already very poor first impression. Very old building, pretty much everything needs refurbishment. Not clean either, we won't have showers or breakfast here… Let's joke the night will be good despite the terrible mattresses. The area seems quiet, at least. Won't recommend.

It's a place to out your head, not really much in the way of appliances, similar to a travelodge but the decor is a bit worn and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest.
