We had a lovely 2 night sightseeing midweek stay in the hotel. Room, service, staff and location are excellent. Parking is expensive but it is a central location. Room service is poor and sometimes unavailable Would return when in the area next.

Beautiful decor very very nice rooms great staff massive inside tiny front but it goes way back.

Excellent all around and the service received from Dean (concierge) was outstanding! Well done, he’s a credit to the company!

I booked 9 rooms for my Hen weekend, staying next weekend. I called reservation yesterday, to alter my booking. Following an hour wait etc I was eventually told that the hotel wasn’t opening and I had no bookings. They are running behind with their refurbishment. I’ve had these rooms booked for 3 months now and no contact at all from the hotel group. I asked for a manager to call me to assist with my booking, and when was someone going to contact me to discuss the hotel no being open. I have yet to hear from the hotel. 18 mature ladies with no rooms to stay and all the plans are in Windsor. When would you have told us? When we tried to book in! Terrible customer service and not a care to the fact we have no where to stay.

Great location, friendly staff. Bar prices as expected. Rooms are very good clean and air conditioning works perfectly.

As a support worker for dementia patients and going to work and coming home I thought I'd get away for the night with a best friend
I knew it could be tricky as you only opened a wk ago, but it's been lovely, staff have been 1st class, room beautiful beds comfortable, room smelt gorgeous, I personally love smells, possitive ones

I have asked manager Peter to get me area manager details, as I would like this to be taken higher as to how lovely the stay has been

This has to be THE BEST stay in a Hotel we have ever experienced. We were completely looked after from the moment they parked our car on arrival, to the moment we checked out. The staff are an absolute credit and 1st class ambassadors to the Hotel, they simply could not have worked harder to ensure our stay was sheer perfection. We cannot wait to return. Thankyou!

Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff especially the concierge. Room was great with a view of the castle, very clean and spacious. Had a very nice 3 course meal in the restaurant and a lovely breakfast too. Couldn’t fault our stay at all and Wil definitely return again.

Excellent location. Changing of the guards passes directly in front of the hotel. Plenty of food and shopping very close. Concierge is excellent! Overall an excellent experience.

Very disappointed! ‘Booked’ afternoon tea with friends… only the hotel didn’t appear to be expecting us! No table prepared, didn’t ‘welcome’ us… had to have table laid around us! Having ordered, one of the ‘champagnes’ was knocked from the tray all over me and the glass shattered everywhere! We moved to another table, to have that relaid! A half hearted apology made, ‘its my first day’! No cloth offered to dry off with! There was actually a good selection of cakes and sandwiches served… 3 of everything (there was four of us! ) So had to ask for more! The vegetarian choice was served separately! (Nice touch). We made the most of the occasion, but won’t be returning! We were not ‘tourists’ day tripping, never to return! We actually live locally, and would expect more from a hotel in the Royal Borough of Windsor!

Great all-star hotel! Perfect location and the food was delicious. Would definitely visit again. Rooms were spotless and up-to-date! Quality stay, felt very comfortable and relaxed. Prices were also reasonable and affordable! Highly recommended this place!

Friendly staff — especially the concierge. Parked overnight for the 2 night stay and was so glad having seen how full the town car parks were. Excellent location opposite Windsor castle and very central. nitial room on arrival was very hot as air con was not working. Was told that air con would be fixed but found out later in the day it was not. Thankfully w.

Peaceful and quiet place. The towels are huge but the Wi-Fi is a bit slow. Actually, it is very slow. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Best hotel in the area. Very classy. I love staying here but the restaurant service quality (at breakfast) has declined significantly recently… Be careful if you're in a hurry.

Lovely staff, nice tea nook. We had a courtyard view room. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Rain show is nice. Small room but nicely appointed and again the staff at the desk are very accommodating. You can buy vouchers for full English breakfast ahead of time for about £6 cheaper and that’s a bargain. It was a good breakfast as well.

We go here once or twice a year. It is a great hotel which allows pets too, although at £25 per night! They have parking, but it is additional to the room rate at £28 per night too. However saying this and it being a bit pricy it is relaxing, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are clean and the food is good and it location is perfect!

We used this venue for their conference facilities. They were excellent — lovely Vegan snacks during breaks and helpful events manager! They even brought out Soya milk for coffee. The meeting room we were using had a loose bunch of cables under the table so whenever people stretched their legs out and accidentally touched the cable, the screen display would go blank! Some of the delegates in our group were unable to check-in to their rooms after arriving straight from the airport as the booking system was down — no paper backup! Avoid the restaurant (Scottish Steakhouse @ Caleys) downstairs, they have poor quality food and service.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel, good service and friendly staff it was our 40th wedding anniversary with my wife Christine and my birthday, We had prosecco and cup cakes in our room on arrival from the hotel, nice thought. Its close to the castle and the river, didn’t see Megan though.

Very nice contemporary hotel. Friendly reception and superb bar. Helpful staff even convinced the kitchen to cook me a very decent meal though the kitchen was closed when I got there. Clean and roomy rooms with all modern amenities, including coffee machine etc… bathrobes and slippers are awaiting you.

The hosts staff were lovely friendly and polite. However the air-conditioning in my room did not work when asked for some help they "restarted" the system which did nothing and apparently they could not move us to another room as they were fully booked. However I saw 2 adjacent rooms which were empty… Breakfast was a little expensive (£18) per person and there is a great cafe near by (Monty). Apart from those things the stay was great and the hotel is located next to Windsor castle.

Very nice hotel, modern with comfortable beds, rooms and a very nice ambience. Good buffet breakfast too. Recommended — but not cheap.

The hotel is in the perfect location for a visit to Windsor. The restaurant, while not having the breadth of choice that you might have from a London eatery, it is an excellent place to go if you need a break from running about. Breakfast is excellent and provides enough choice even for the pickiest of eaters.

We had a hen do in one of their function rooms. The staff were amazing and the food was incredible. Could not recommend highly enough!

Amazing Hotel, great view… comfy rooms and great service.

Great Hotel, great location, very attentive staff. Boarders on a 4.5 though, the beds are way too small, should be Queens or King's (given the location:), a double has no place in a modern hotel. Also not being able to open a window is an issue, it's nice to have fresh air. Valet parking is a nice touch, but book in advance.

Wonderful experience, had 4 great days there. Staff are warm, friendly and so helpful. Fabulous restaurant too. The Privilege Rooms and Suites are amazing. You're on the lower high street, so relatively quiet. Views of Windsor Castle from front facing roons too! Whats not to like? Superb!

Great location, immediately opposite Windsor Castle. Underground valet car park — entrance at rear. Chose your arrival time carefully, it is a long way round when the guard is changing. Excellent room and service.

Had a wonderful week st the MacWinds. Great location, lots of pubs, shopping and amenities. Very nice rooms and a lovely shower. Way better than staying at an airport hotel. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect with Windsor castle practically on your doorstep and the central shops and restaurants equally close. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was well presented and in excellent condition. The drinks at the hotel bar were very pricey but otherwise a great stay.

Had a lovely stay, great staff, very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were decorated to a high standard, we had a fourth floor room which had a view of the castle above the shops. It is situated in the high street, and close to the castle and shops. If you have booked Parker, ask for the post code before you go as it is at the back of the hotel and a different one to the front, it’s much easier.

A lovely welcome, excellent location to the Castle, restaurants, pubs and shops. Comfortable well presented bedrooms and snazzy double shower. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

This hotel is flawless, as soon as you walk in it even smells amazing! With candles and scents everywhere, beautiful decor and an open fire lit, the ambience is perfect. Our bedroom was stunning and enormous with so much attention to detail we had everything we needed. The staff were incredible and so helpful. When checking in we very briefly mentioned that we were away for our anniversary and later on at dinner they surprised us with a lovely gesture! The food was amazing (great steak! ) and of course the location is absolutely perfect. I think we will be back for our next anniversary as well! x.

Difficult. Bar service excellent. Ordered 3 appetizers and wine. Bottle of Wine took maybe 15 mins to arrive after the wine by the glass was delivered… we are told chef can’t make any more chunky fries. Shoestring or mash. Disappointed but we all go for mash.
Steaks for 3.2 were cooked well. 1 was badly over cooked. Med rare on the rare side came hardly pink at all. It had to go back and we never reject food… meanwhile mash was terrible. Solid lumps of mash which was old and solid and you had to carve. Really. Ate steak and mushrooms, fine. But it’s a 32 pound sterling steak and one of us is not eating. When the third steak arrived it’s perfectly cooked AND nice fresh soft mash! Result.!
We order 2 Irish coffees to relax after the meal. After 20 mins they have not arrived. There are now 5 of us total in restaurant and staff are setting up for breakfast. I get up and go to bar to ask where our coffees are. They are sitting in the bar. I inform our waitress. They are cool. They go back. We go home. Manager on duty offered reductions — we declined 2 because 2 steaks were actually good — we are too forgiving because our meal was totally ruined. We were offered a discount and we accepted. Totally. Suggestion: — Don’t open on Mondays unless you will give Saturday Night Service.

Had a one night stay in a deluxe double, the room was a decent size and over looked the main Street with the castle visible (rm405). It was clean, tidy and quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location. We were on a B&B rate and the breakfast had a decent selection and hot breakfast options. Parking is available for £30, it's valet, but you must pre book as there are limited spaces. Checkout was 11am but we weren't rushed out the car park and our luggage was taken straight to our car boot. We really enjoyed our stay, all the staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. Not sure if the deluxe double was worth the extra over a classic room though, we did get unlimited tea/coffee/hot chocolate in our rate. The hotel could do with making all the rooms have larger beds, even premier Inn have king beds!

Very nice hotel with excellent service. Very cozy and stylishly furnished room, with Nespresso machine, kettle, tea and soluble coffee. Also very attentive was the bottle of still water in the room. The bathroom was very modern and clean, the rain shower just terrific.

Came here for dinner in the Caleys restaurant. The decor of the restaurant was lovely and had a cool mordern feel to it whilst not too loud and overbearing which suited the chilled ambient music in the background. The waitress that served us was very welcoming and polite, she had a good knowledge of the menu and most importantly the wine list.
I ordered the baby rack of ribs as a starter and when it came out we thought it was the main course! A very generous portion indeed and the meat was just falling off the bone with the slightest of knife cutting (not even a steak knife).
I ordered the fillet steak for my main and once again it was cooked to perfection, I like my steak cooked medium to rare and this was spot on, very juicy and flavorsome whilst almost melting in my mouth, as a man who loves his steak I wanted to give the chef a high five!
Pudding was a big favorite for me too, tiramisu, not just a little block of cake either, this was a bowlful!
All washed down with an amazing glass of sauvignon blanc. Needless to say I left very full and very happy!

Very professional, courteous, I had a problem with my air conditioner, they very polite lady at reception offered me a new room and was genuinely embarrassed that the air conditioner was not working in my room. In London it aint ever that hot but either way I felt cared for. The extra customer service in this hotel, for me put it ahead of the other hotels. Why not 5 Star? I leave for work in the morning before 7am and they don't start breakfast until then … I go from Macdonald Winsor to McDonalds for breakfast… something to think about.

We stayed here for a company meeting. It's a nice place to stay — more of a boutique feel. Nice and cosy, but with a dash of luxury. It's conveniently located in the middle of Windsor, and would make a great location to explore from. Parking is slightly expensive, but they will park for you (seems a little compact there)

Excellent hotel that is situated right in the heart of Windsor, you couldn't ask for a better location. Well equipped, finished to a high standard with staff that are more than willing to do plenty for you. Underground secure parking available with concierge. At £30 per night it is not cheap but on par for the hotel and the area. Only real gripe is that the package booked included dinner which we were automatically booked in for at 6.45 which for us was a little early with no option to change. Apparently the restaurant was very busy although when it came to dinner it did not appear to be the case. Also I think paying £3 fee for paying by card for the whole booking is a bit of a dates approach. I would stay here again.

Nicely decorated hotel. The foyer area feels plush and welcoming. The downside for me is the service at breakfast, which is very hit-and-miss. Sometimes you can be completely ignored. One time I ordered coffee which was delivered to the table next to me and I saw another table complain about the omelette they had ordered 15 minutes before which hadn't arrived. There seem to be plenty of staff but unfortunately most of them are only concerned with laying tables and the customer focus is sadly lacking. A strange and frustrating experience.

I booked a table for 3pm for afternoon tea via Bookatable. When we arrived for our booking there was no one around to show us where to go. When we asked in the restaurant we were told that they didn't open until 4. There was great confusion until eventually we were told where to sit and a waiter laid the table and gave us menus. 15 minutes later we asked a passing chef if there was anyone around who would serve us. He found someone and our order was taken. The tea arrived. The chef came out to say that our food was being prepared, and it arrived several minutes later. After about half an hour we had to ask again if anyone was around who would top up our tea (I believe it was the restaurant manager), someone was found, the order taken and the tea arrived. We then had no further waiter contact for about an hour. Eventually we stood up to go and my friend went to the bar in order to find out how to pay. We were amazed to find that a charge of 12.5% had been added to the bill, which we said we would not pay as the service had been so bad. When we said that we weren’t going to pay the service charge no explanation was asked for and no apologies given. As an experience it was very disappointing. My friend had come over from Phoenix and had asked if we could go for afternoon tea, but we were all very disappointed with the service and did not feel that the hotel really cared whether we were there or not, in fact, we felt like we were a nuisance.

The good is great and the bad is terrible. So it's a 3, I guess. The great — high street location, modern, clean rooms, great bar area, and the place smells amazing … The not so good? No hairdryer (madam. It is in the desk. No it isn't … 3 times), phones that don't work (don't keep trying reception — the button on the phone doesn't actually do anything), the room service food … terrible, no other word for it. The reception staff … polite, but actually actually help you with anything … a taxi you need, a parcel you're expecting, etc. (They'd really like to. But the actually. Don't. )

We have eaten in the restaurant a number of times and always enjoyed it. Today we were very disappointed that we chose your Restaurant for our lunch venue. The maintenance men were painting the walls at the eating area. The smell of paint was very strong and offputing. We both got a headache, because both of us are allergic to paintsmell.

We arrived and were immediately upgraded to the best room in the hotel. Top floor with balcony overlooking Windsor castle. The concierge David let us borrow his personal GPS to drive to Stonehenge. We would have never got there without it what with driving on the opposite side of the road, and car and all the roundabouts. The breakfast that was included was incredible. Anything you could possibly want and the food was great. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. Overall a wonderful experience with a wonderful staff.

Brilliant place the rooms are modern, comfy and generous. All the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The food in the restaurant is delightful. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

2 lunches in a week at Caley's restaurant. 1st time out I had the mixed grill, steak was over cooked, everything was greasy and for the money I came away disappointed. 2nd visit was between Xmas and New Year. Not mentioned when we booked it, but they were running a reduced menu. Burger was over cooked, toasted bun was too dry thick cut chips were greasy. We spent 30 quid a head for 2 courses and for this I expect more. It wasn't terrible and the venue is great, but I was really underwhelmed.
