Clean, well kept property with a nice pool (need to book due to Covid but we were asked if we wanted to swim at check in) all the staff were happy and polite even though it was a very busy Friday night stay with lots of family's.

Stay here quite a bit, but decided to go all in and book the junior suite. Was certainly not disappointed, the room was fab, Bluetooth, 2 TV's, lounge, sofa and huge bed and bathroom. Staff at this hotel are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble.

Recieved a £100 parking fine for being a customer! We used the Spa & had a full body massage & drinks after at the hotel bar. I rang up and complained & was told "The Spa isnt part of the hotel"… Unbelievable! We spoke to the receptionist and the Spa staff and nobody informed us of paying for parking. I appealed the parking fine and it got rejected… We will never come back & I advise nobody go there. Such a scam.

The spa treatment and food are very nice.

Nice and clean room, great customer service! Pleasent and relaxing place to stay! We really enjoyed swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Stayed with my partner on a secret escape deal. Room corporate in style. But clean and comfortable bed with comfortable pillows. Evening meal and breakfast very nice. Didn't use pool far too many children in it. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility problem because of all the steps down to cha gong room.

Have stayed here a second time through the Legoland deal & have to say it's great! Staff are friendly & so very helpful! The Hotel is nice, clean & comfortable. When the staff found out we'd come away for a weekend to celebrate our sons 8th Birthday, they gave him some cake & sang Happy Birthday to him in the restaurant… so very kind of them & they made my son so very happy! Thank you ❤

Stayed here as part of our legoland trip. Hotel great for families, great pool area and food (had a slight issue but all was sorted) friendly, helpful staff, everything we wanted in our stay. Checked out then checked back in for an extra night, would definitely come back.

The room was great but the bar area where we met friends for the evening can only be described as trying to hold a conversation and eat a meal in the middle of a children’s playground at lunchtime except this lunchtime went on for nearly three hours of high pitched screaming, using the whole bar area as a race track and somewhere to perform a variety of circus tumbling routines. There is an area for children but unfortunately the ignorant parents of their wolf packs we witnessed last night were oblivious and ignorant to any other guests. Staff were aware that other guests were not happy but did nothing but again this was probably due to their very young age as well.

Living locally we like to visit the Holiday Inn and partake of drinks and food in the bar area. All is good except for the poor seating which is fine if you don't have to eat as they are designed as loungers. However the worst thing is the numerous unruly children whose parents leave to run riot throughout the bar area. There is a designated play area that is used by parents with disciplined children. After you've had girls shouting and cartwheeling by your ear about twenty times whilst trying to eat your meal it all becomes beyond a joke. The staff show no interest in advising parents about their unruly children and the situation becomes impossible where you have to take your business elsewhere. If you're after a pleasant evening out with good conversation etc. — forget it!

Major problem on booking in that my request on booking the room for twin beds was totally ignored! Not impressed.

Room had broken furniture, the bar was supposed to accept cash up to 11:00 but at 10:45 I was told I could only pay by putting the bill on my room. Foot d and drink very over priced. Not impressed.

Very helpful and friendly. If you require more of anything ie towels, pillows etc you just have to ring up and they will bring them to your room.

Appealed a car park fine and yet with evidence got rejected. Awful experience.

This place would have got 5 stars but it is considerably pricier than the other Holiday Inns we have stayed in. I do think it’s down to area but Reading and Milton Keynes are half the price and far better maintained. However had a lovely stay — friendly and welcoming to children. Room was comfortable and the correct temperature. Swimming pool is nice but agree with other reviews that changing rooms need updating. Would Definately consider going back but think the price could be more comparable to Reading. I’ve been an IHG member for a few years and stay at least 2-3 times a year.

I can just speak for the gym. Was member there for 3years. 36/month with access to pool, steam room, sauna and the fitness. Good value for money. Staff was friendly. Free car park (for members) PS: don’t use the car wash. They scratched my car.

Family friendly, The best hotel I've stayed in. Every member of staff were friendly, helpful & genuine. They made us feel very welcome & didn't mind my 2boys running around & playing. Beautiful pools Choice of breakfast was amazing & the evening meals were superb. From 6am until bedtime the staff were on top form & I would happily stay there time & time again.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff and room cleanliness is just as expected. Good location, peaceful place. Good food and swimming pool. Gym is really awesome. Overall perfect 4 hotel = holiday inn.

Staff were nice, breakfast was good however the room wasn't greatly clean. Also some parts of the hotel showing wear. The lifted carpet on the third floor on a corner by the three thirties nearly took me down but I saved my balance… that carpet needs looking at immediately. The "health club" was lacking somewhat… the pool was cold (too much so for my little one to stay in) and didn't feel/smell clean, you'd know what I mean if you were there. No express check out either, or if there was, it did t seem obvious.

Nice and quiet surroundings. Parks and green areas. Perfect for a morning run. The hotel also has a health club with a small and warm swimming pool. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Playroom for kids. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Visited the restaurant. You could say it is kid centric, they have their own buffet that the adults do not! The staff is very young but they do a really excellent job — attentive, friendly, and serve with a smile. We had the lamb shank followed by brownie and ice cream. Very enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay here while visiting legoland. Perfect set up for families with extra perks for the kids such as activity packs on arrival, milk and cookie vouchers and a goodie bag on departure! The free children’s buffet had excellent choice and the food was lovely. The staff were all great with kids and nothing was too much trouble! My 6 yr old son said this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be coming back when we next visit legoland!

Clean and well placed. Friendly helpful staff. Food nice but unfortunately my friend had the chicken liver pate for her starter last night and it was off. She only had one mouthful but was I’ll all night and weak today. Ok otherwise. The chap in the restaurant for breakfast was fabulous. So helpful. As was the girls (one of them Kate) for dinner. Reception staff helpful. Food both days for our conference was lovely. Go every year and the food has improved immensely.

Stayed for 3 nights while on a weekend to Legoland, perfectly placed for us. Not much to look at from the outside but very clean and comfortable inside. All staff we encountered were very friendly. Good hotel for children, received a voucher for milk and cookies on arrival and a bag of goodies on checkout. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Had dinner one night which was ok, on the expensive side but kids ate free from a decent buffet. Booked an extra night and a mix up with room, only gave us a double rather than a family but dealt with quickly and we were upgraded to a suite for the extra night. Pool nice but changing areas could do with a spruce up. Would definitely use again as a base if we visited the area.

Lovely hotel brilliant for families x my two boys got an activity pack and a free glass of milk and a cookie x free buffet for the children all they can eat x lovely comfy room and wonderful buffet breakfast x couldn't fault the place x.

I am happy to amend my previous 1-star review as the Hotel Management team reached out to me as a result of my review. When I had the chance to explain the circumstances around the issue of a parking fine they were able to instruct the company managing the car park on their behalf to cancel the fine. I would still recommend caution when using the car park. I did register an appeal with Parking Eye which they promptly rejected and when I tried to contact them by telephone my calls were repeatedly unanswered. But a thank you is due to the Hotel Management team who responded and managed the situation quickly and with common sense.

The spa was disappointing to say the least. The sauna and steam rooms were completely separate for male and female. Almost felt like Victorian times. The food wad good but the service wad poor. The room was only able to be cold or hot. No happy medium. The bed was small and uncomfortable, so we had a long uncomfortable night. Needless to say we will not stay here again.

Reasonable food and drink selection. Better hotel for business use with decent conference facilities. Room was very small but bed comfortable.

Staff are really welcoming and great family friendly atmosphere. We stayed during a trip to Legoland and there are lots of other familys doing the same. Gift bags for kids were handed out upon check out. Really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms absolutely spot on. Clean, comfortable and new looking. Well priced and the breakfast was reasonable. The coffee machines had huge queues not helped by the them keep breaking down but that was just down to the large numbers in there at the time. Go early for a better experience. One minor criticism was the noise. We could hear people slamming doors and shouting, but I can't really hold the hotel responsible for that.

Really good customer service, however the food choice is the worst I have ever seen. All pork at breakfast (many people don’t eat pork) and pretty much sandwiches and burgers for their “dinner” menu. I come to stay here every now and again becuase I come to an event and the lunch they provide us is also very limited. It’s normally just vegetables with more vegetable and the occasional potato, please learn how to make real vegetarian food. This used to be so good for food but ever since they change chef and menu, it’s gone very down hill.

Stayed for a night after visiting friends. Mattress a bit soft for us and the room was a boiling hot 26 degrees when we walked in! 5 mins of window open and it was ok. Breakfast was really good, great variety and attentive staff. Wasn't clear to me that parking was free for overnight guests, but it is.

Very close to a workplace, I stay regularly in this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the meals are good and the welcome is very nice. This hotel would deserved a bit of renovation and have a more developed map.

Great stay. Comfy. Nice rooms. Only gave 4 stars as lift was out of order when I got there and wasn't fixed after two days. However, staff were very friendly and really nice/helpful! I would definitely stay again and recommend thus hotel.

The room was cold and when we called reception they send us the duty manager that brought a portable heater. This still did not provide ediqute heating. As a gesture of good will he offered us a free breakfast or a drink. This personally was an insult as the comfortability factor was compromised. When we checked out I asked for a formal complaint and was offered a 20% discount and points. I'm still unsatisfied as the holiday Inn for years had a good reputation. Sadly the Maiden Holiday Inn has let the chain down.

The hotel is standard with lots of business guests as well as families due to the location being close to Windsor and Legoland. The rooms are spacious but a bit outdated and in winter times cold. Staff are friendly. The hotel as all the basic amenities such as restaurant, bar and a Starbucks coffee branch. There's also a gym and a pool. The gym is quite small though so bear that in mind.

I have stayed at this hotel every year for 10+ years. The service has always been good. The rooms are always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The food is to a good standard, with a large choice at breakfast. I especially appreciate the pancake machine. My only complaints this year are that the vegetarian options for starters and mains in the set dinner are heavily dairy based, and the Halloumi is way too salty! Plus the pool is so cold, I heard many people complaining. Nevertheless I would recommend this hotel for large groups as they are very accommodating, and the overall experience is always good.

A wonderful Christmas night out. Venue was fab. Vegetarian food was limited. Always goats cheese on offer for us vegetarians. More imagination needed please! Other than that what more could you want?

Nice hotel. Pleasant staff and easy to navigate. Rooms have always been quiet and clean and at a fair rate.

I arranged to meet a colleague here for breakfast. The food was okay, however on more than one occasion both coffee machines failed to work and some of the staff didn't seem to bothered. A part from the coffee failures everything else was okay.

Very outdated decor and both rooms I stayed in had dirty, ripped curtains. Room service was quick and tasty. Check out was easy. Expensive for what you actually get. Recommended only if you need a hotel close to the business Park.

Service was good through the operation. However quite a bit of minor repairs need doing. Our room fan heater didn't work very well and the towel rail was loose. TV operation is a faff. Breakfast was good. Wine choice was poor. We had a glass brought to the room with a sandwich to share that was undrinkable. Sandwich was good. So a bit like my old chemistry homework. Good in parts. Would I go back yes. £65 Friday and Saturday night's. It's a premier Inn with a bar and dining room.

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for a visit to the wonderful Windsor Castle. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room perfect. Would return and recommend.

Nice Hotel in itself but dirty and service not level.

I often work here and find the staff happy and helpful. I repaired a mirrored wardrobe there yesterday, and just a few weeks ago repaired two windows which had been smashed by the Gardeners. My company has worked here for a number of years and it's always a pleasure.

Decent enough hotel, the front desk team are fantastic. The two star rating is for the restaurant / bar. Incredibly rude, I sat there ignored for the better part of half an hour before somebody came to take an order. When I went up to the counter where a dozen other people had placed a drink order, I was brusquely told to take a seat. Not a good experience, and I'll be looking for somewhere else to stay on my next trip to Maidenhead.

Myself, wife, son & mother-in-law had a family room with 2 double beds including breakfast and evening meal.
We had a great stay, food was good and all staff from top management to cleaners were very helpful and accommodating for us, definitely will book again.

Nice hotel. Good quality rooms. The staff were helpful. The bar/lobby area was the biggest i've seen in a Holiday Inn. Didn't get to use the pool so can't comment on that.

Standard Holiday Inn, needs a revamp.

Lovely staff, solid accommodation. Parking is free if you're staying, give your your registration at the desk. Tea and coffee and a fridge in the rooms. There's a small (not very well equipped) children's indoor play area, a swimming pool, and children eat free in the restaurant with any adult main. We were also given activity fun packs and free milk and cookies for the little ones, so it's a good place for families. The quad room was a little tight with four beds, but big enough to sleep in. All in all a pleasent stay.

I visited the Holiday Inn at Maidenhead on Sunday 16 July 2017 to drop my sister off who was a guest there. I enjoyed a drink in the bar with her and stayed just under an hour. I am now being pursued aggressively to pay £100 parking fine just for being there. This is outrageous. Also, as I was using a hire car Europcar are trying to charge me £40 admin fee as well. What a terrible advertisement for the way Holiday Inn treats its customers. I am a reward customer as well.

We stayed 1 night after a family wedding. Just what we needed. Check in was fast & efficient, & we had a good sleep. Parking was good, but be aware you have to give car registration no. When you check in. Otherwise you could end up with a parking fine, like one of our family members. Hopefully being dealt with by the Holiday inn, as the car park is managed by a private firm.

The room was OK though It needs some attention. Such as the toilet seat was a bit stained though had been clean and the air vent in the bathroom was full of dust. I think these things need regular maintenance. Toilet seats need replacing quite a lot in a busy hotel such as this. Having said that the food was beyond what I was expecting. I ordered a burger and to my surprise was handmade, accompanied with decent cheese with fresh salad in a sour dough bun. It was delicious. The chips/fries were also homemade were equally as nice. When it came to breakfast you were simply spoilt for choice. I think I ate a bit of everything… Oh the staff were very pleasant.

Went for a coffee and to meet relatives who were staying there. Relaxing area to sit in, decorated nicely not that busy initially (early evening) but by the time we left it was quite busy. Coffee as in most places was quite expensive for two iced latte £7.20p but a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seats an enjoyable evening, would go again. If your visiting you have to pay for parking.

Excellent value for money. We stayed as part of a Legoland short break. The children ate for free when we ordered off the main course. Food was excellent. Room was want and comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast again was excellent. The children were provided with activity packs, a voucher for milk and cookies and a snack box and we checked out. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Renovation is urgently desired.

Attended for a conference for work. I was running slightly late, but the staff were proactive in finding out what I needed and helped me to find the right place. I've previously stayed as a guest overnight and found the accommodation ideal. The food here is decent too.

Friendly staff. Pool and clean rooms. It lacks a touch of elegance for a 4 star hotel.

Excellent stop over. Receptionist Barbara greeted us with courtesy and our first taste of the friendly, professional staff. We had a fantastic stay in a standard room with a very comfy bed and only the quiet hum of air conditioning interrupt the quiet. Breakfast was a choice of continental or English. The place was well appointed and clean with a lot of parking and welcoming. My wife and I look forward visiting again.

Room would have been good if there wasn't hair on the floor. I think they need a better hover. Swimming pool was very good addition. Food in the evening was way over priced for the quality and the breakfast was an unorganised joke. Staff was a mixed bunch, some were very helpful and happy and some were miserable and didnt seem to have much time for anyone but overall it is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights.

Very clean and food good. Stayed with my wife and 2 children. Great family bar with play area. Highly recommend and only 20min from legoland.

Extremely slow free internet and payed internet option is extortionate… £50 for the week. Clean room, comfy bed, fridge, good clean shower/bathroom. Very helpful and pleasant staff. TV options very limited (15 channels), but they have a swimming pool and gym area. Breakfast is fairly standard, but good value. Menu for during the day and evenings is pretty good and not overly priced.

We was booked to attend their staff Christmas Party in early January and despite repeated requests for payment of the invoice, the Holiday Inn (so-called) accounts department have simply refused to make any payment whatsover or not given any reason why they won't make a remmitance.

Great meeting room and facilities, helpful staff and nice lounge bar. Free Wi-Fi would make it a five star visit.

Stayed here once in October, some staff weren't friendly but it was a good location so I stayed once again. Slight mishap with checkin but management got involved and the situation was resolved with a personal email to apologise which was a lovely touch which they didn't have to do. I got put in a junior suite which is lovely. Two tvs, sadly I only have one set of eyes as it would have been perfect if my husband was staying with me, no arguments over the remote! Room was quiet, I think rooms are well insulated as I could very faintly here a couple arguing in the next room, if the walls were thin, I probably would have heard every word! lady I ordered dinner with apparently the longest member of staff at 49 years was very chirpy and patient when I couldn't decide on what to eat. The person who brought it to the room was very friendly. Food was amazing, second night I ordered, I found out all members of management were told about my problem which I appreciated as it shows that notice was taken and staff are kept in the know. Money is tight so I decided to collect the food myself so as to avoid the tray charge but I was worried about struggling with it. A lovely guy behind the bar offered to help me take it up which was incredibly appreciated. Food again was amazing and now I go to sleep in this comfy bed again, gutted that I have to check out tomorrow. Very good experience and I look forward to returning.

Very friendly staff, nice swimming pool, hotel room shower always burns then freezes, rooms are well maintained.

Stayed in three different rooms in three days. We stayed in a room with two single beds, a double bed, and an executive double. Executive bedroom is not worth the money, but it was the same price as a regular double. The hotel shows its age and is nothing special. The Holiday Inn in Reading is much better.

Charging £30 for 2 days of Wifi. What century do you live in. Evolve.
