Great place, great food, great rooms but the thing that makes this a great experience is the staff. They are so friendly and attentive that almost makes you feel like you are in your own house. I really like this dominican staff girl called Pamela, she was incredible supportive giving me all kinds of info about the hotel and the surrounding area. Thank You so much!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been impressed. The staff are amazingly friendly and offer a welcoming and professional service. The standard of the food is very high and the buffet breakfast is one of the best around. Our new favourite place to stop over in the way to and from the Uk.

Positive: Loved the pool area and room. Nice view from room even though I did not book a sea view room. Comfy bed! Good choice of restaurants. Very attentive staff, especially during breakfast. A relaxing stay! Negative: I personally found the duvet too thick for the temperatures although the bedding was amazing. They did call me Mr when I called the reception, even after the third day and it also stated Mr on the welcome message on the TV. I am clearly not a Mr :) Minibar prices were outrages!

Thank you for the amazing time in February/March. The best food ever and really nice service. One of the hundred nice people was avinash… he does a pretty good job and made all our wishes come true.

A modern hotel, nice and well sized rooms, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent! Rooms could be cleaner we found a fingernail in the bathroom. All towels in the pool area we had had stains and should be renewed. We had a room with a door to another room, on the second day they renovated the room next to ours and they did paint work there and it smelled a lot after paint in our room causing headache. We When we complained about that the reception said "there is no work on our floor" we had to insist they send somebody to the floor to check that. From a five star hotel I expect they inform us before they start the work. Next room we got smelled after smoke a lot, third room was finally good and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Corniche All Day Buffet had a very good variety of international selections from appetizers, mains, & deserts. We were very well looked after by the restaurant's crew who were all friendly & accommodating especially Ms. Myra who gave us a very good deal. Food tastes great. Truly a good value for money.

Reception and room OK but the pool area should definitely be refurbished. Excellent cuisine with good choice and variety.

Cedrick gave us an excellent that we never had experience before. He made us our dine-in more enjoyable. Ambiance here is good for people to chill and relax. 5 thumbs up! for all the staff.

Wonderful place to relax. I stayed there for two nights with senior citizens and it was perfect specially that the bathroom has a separate tub and shower, I wasn’t worried that they might slip or miss a step. They have helpful concierge desk (special mention to Binod who gave extra tips in going around), and welcoming people at their restaurant (Michelle was sweet to offer help at all times) May all your guest experience a pleasant stay just like we did. An unforgettable holiday in Abu Dhabi! The hotel staff were very attentive, the food varied and nice rooms. Even if the hotel is on the main road, you won't get anything from the street. A trip to the desert is obligatory when visiting Abu Dhabi! We will definitely come back!

Had a short but great stay at the hotel. Service is top, room was spacious and had a luxurious bathroom to offer. Also got to enjoy the extensive spread at the breakfast buffet. The facilities are shared with the apartments in the same building complex, but are complete with a heated pool and big gym. Many restaurants in the streets around the hotel.

Very nice Hotel, great service, spacious and very comfortable rooms. With a lot of good quality bars and restaurants. There is also small swimming pool, gym, sauna etc. Very good!

Lovely hotel with very accomodating room service staff, Aye was great in her service and pay attention to guest and I appreciate in her warm welcome! Taking order by asking frequently details and deliver it in short times than expected. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good place to stop after a long journey!

Very nice. More service is not available. A big compliment to all employees. If you are staying here, make sure to book the half-board. Don't miss the delicious dinner. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We did this year a week in this hotel holiday. The shuttle to some hotspot s (Beach, Marina Mall, Louvre and Ferrari World) is great. The service from the whole team at its finest. No matter whether reception, restaurant or cleaning. The food was top quality. A rich breakfast which leaves nothing to be desired. Also in the evening one got a super buffet. Even with food allergies, you can get your own food from the chef if you wish. For example, a dessert with a cow's milk allergy. I didn't have such a service in any hotel. Rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Unfortunately, they have come a little over the years. There is a need for action here again. Also the cleanliness in the rooms is partly not 100%. We did not use the pool area and the bars in the house. We can recommend the hotel with a good conscience and thank the team for the wonderful holiday.

What an amazing week at Sofitel Abu Dhabi. Most definitely would recommend you visit. Great jazz and fizz bar! Marry and all the staff are cool! Nice bar with nice view. Le cafe lobby lounge also pretty very nice ginger house with a lot of Christmas decoration! Thank you so much also for defi And to everyone else who made this a long awaited holiday to remember. Perfect location, beautiful room, wonderful restaurants and really kind, helpful and professional staff. My best experience in Abu Dhabi so far. It's such an amazing experience to visit this hotel. I spent a really fun time with my Husband. I'm really impressed to Defi, all of the staff are good. But she is awesome, so friendly and helpful whenever we come to Le Cafe. Pistachio eclair with cinnamon latte was perfect. For sure I'll come back again to visit this hotel. No doubt, just perfect!

The place to stay when in Abu Dhabi. Staff are unbelievable and rooms and suites are so comfortable. We have stayed twice it breaks up the long hall back to Australia from Europe. It has an amazing rooftop pool and restaurant. We loved it!

Check in was simple, quick and a pleasure. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. All in all a very pleasant short stay.

The hotel's room service food was really great. My adult daughter said the fries were the best ever. The breakfast was top notch, and dinner was really nice as well. Want to say thanks to Aye, Kyaw and Karla.

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was equally as good. Aye, Kyaw and Karla ’s service was the best.

We stayed as a couple for 1 week in this hotel. Whether it was the friendliness at the reception, the great facilities of the rooms or even the food, it was a very pleasant stay. There was nothing missing. We had booked half-board. A very rich breakfast buffet awaited us. The evening buffet was so varied, there should be something for everyone.
We can recommend this hotel 100% positively.

I booked this hotel for myself and 3 friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The only fault experiences was the slow service we received a the French Bakery. We stopped off for a quick lunch and found ourselves waiting over an hour for a couple of sandwiches and salads and we were the only ones in the café. My favourites parts about this hotel was the huge bath tub, buffet breakfast and amazing pools. Usually with a city hotel you expect a small pool but this hotel had 2 generous sized pools.

Overall, the Eid vacation was great. The breakfast was the best part of my stay. The staff were friendly. The only problem was the house keeping. I kept asking them for sugar and it took them an hour to get it to my room. I made 4 phone calls, the last one to the supervisor, to finally get the sugar for my coffee.

It was our wedding anniversary and the staff couldn't have made us feel anymore welcome. The room was done up with balloons and cake and all the staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make our weekend special and memorable.

It was a full immersion in the elegance and friendliness that we found all the staff members. The suite was always tidy and clean, with water and fruit platters always ready at our disposal.
The breakfasts and the various aperitifs at the club thousandths have always been impeccable and with great variety of choice.
Recommended to everyone!

I am really recommending this hotel guys. I so love to stay long in this hotel. Accommodation is really world class. Carpeted room, clean and not smelly. I enjoyed the bath tab too, and also the swimming pool, though its small but its clean. The hotel staff are so helpful to us. And they do SMILE in welcoming us. I really had a great staycation here in Sofitel.

The poolside grill is excellent and has shisha available in a variety of flavors. Try the shish kabob, the seasoning on the lamb is very good.

Good hotel. A little price. Chillo bar is quite nice. The swimming pool lacks sun. Izzat did a great job accomodating us with all our needs! Feels more like a business hotel than a tourist hotel though.

I love the residential side of this hotel. The coffee shop and access to Chill'O as well as the gym facilities are top notch when visiting friends.

Arrived with my wife for dinner was greeted nice by the staff. As we went up to the buffet I felt as we were in for a nice experience and great deal in reading a few reviews and my wife finding a good pre-purchase deal. That unfortunately was the end of the great experience with ofcourse the exception of having my wife's accompaniment. We were led first right into the middle of 4-5 tables with almost the rest of the place being almost completely empty (should have been a warning sign). The buffet was supposed to have an American highlight. If you call a slider or some badly seasoned attempt at fried chicken a highlight. About 95% of the food was absolutely not American. It was an absolute disappointment and with the 1000's of really good restaurants in Abu Dhabi please do yourself a favor and most probably save money in the process by going elsewhere. I have read the reviews for lunch and they seem to be positive but as for dinner it was a waste of time and money. The hotel was nice and the dining room was beautiful if only they could live up to that with the dinner buffet.

Nice hotel, good food. Not very competent staff when it comes to special requests. When I asked for food options for breakfast on our check out day (because we had to go to the airport and get a take away box) the woman at the reception wasn't helpful at all. When I asked for food without 'flour' she said I might have a croissant. When I tried to explain why I can't eat it she laughed and said there is no flour in a croissant. Neither did she write a note for the kitchen as I asked her nor was she able to replace regular milk with soy milk. We didn't get towels for 2 persons in our room and when I asked for them they never showed up so I called again after an hour. For a hotel with 4 or 5 stars it wasn't very professional in my opinion. We payed a lot of money and they didn't seem to be interested in our needs as there were like 5 negative incidents in 3 days I wouldn't book it again.

Après plusieurs passages dans cet établissement, voici ce que j'en pense. Les chambres: propreté nickel spacieuses et adaptées. Le service : Rien à dire. Le petite "bonjour, bienvenue" à l'arrivée est très sympa. Le buffet: excellent, bien cuisiné, et diversifié. Le Jazz and Fizz : j'ai passé le réveillon du 31/12/2014 SUPER classe. Driss le serveur (francophone est un super gars) et le responsable boisson de l'hotel Igor est efficace et performant. Le Silk and Spice: délice en restauration Thaï. En conclusion un hotel très bien situé avec une prestation de luxe inégalable. Bravo Christophe.

The setting in the corniche restaurant is too dark.

Attended WWF Abu Dhabi here. They had good food and a spacious ballroom.

Just had a great stay there. Only one complaint: window cleaners unexpectedly showed up around 10 am. We were still in bed, luckily we had closed the curtains. They should inform the room occupants beforehand.

Love everything about this hotel. My first five star one at that.
