The hotel is good, rooms spacious, but at times different bathroom fixtures and other in-room facilities are broken. Services are slow. My last visit had all these issues. Further, we found it weird that the hotel tried to charge us AED 20 for an extra EMPTY wine glass (really? ). The experience is OK; you can get better deals and experience else where.
The rooms are fine, the valet is quick, and the bars are adequate. You aren't fussed over by the staff, but that is sometimes a nice thing in a city where overbearing service is the norm. It makes for an quality low key business hotel without any bells or whistles. So long as you aren't expecting the St Regis and know what you are paying for, there isn't much to complain about.
