Review of Royal Kahana 3*

Wish we would have seen all the negative reviews before we booked our condo with our travel agent. We wanted a condo so we would be able to cook and save a little money on breakfast and lunches. The evening we arrived we checked in and got up to our room. Wow was all we could say. Room was not clean! Tile floor had stuff all over it and the carpet was filthy. We went down to the desk and told the lady working at the desk. She said she had no house keeping staff there and would have them deep clean the next morning. Well needless to say the bed sheets were not well cleaned also. But we had a washer and dryer which we had to use to wash the bedding before we went to bed. Then vacuum the floor. We would have mopped however there was no way to mop the floor. Needless to say after sweeping and vacuuming the floor there is no way they even cleaned them after the last people. NOTE when they did the deep cleaning the switched our bathroom towels. Guess what one was filthy and one of the other ones had two rips in it. Then we turned on the ac which didn't work our whole time there. It would turn on and off and never cooled below 74 degrees. We gave up having them try and fix it after multiple times of them coming to fix it because everyone we talked to said there's didn't work well eaither. There was also no other rooms they could move us to when we started with this all. We made the best of it since we spent every day out and about and only showered and slept there. We did do some cooking there however since the ac didn't work right it got hot inside making us not want to cook. Also note that the dryers are not vented outside which makes your room hot and humid. This was also causing the paint to peal in the bathroom and also I'm sure mold! Pool area is decent and they have nice grills out there. This is the only reason why they have any stars.
