I found the amenities were very good here the area is nice the people are nice. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean. I will tell you that it was kind of hard finding it the first time because all of the condos look the same.

Amazing stay for couples or families with a car seeking a self catering holiday. While the property is very well presented and maintained (spacious 1 and 2 bedroom condos, full kitchen, BBQ, fast speed internet & cable — awesome bed!, decent pool on site), it's about 10 minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes bus ride to the nearest shops, making not so convenient for a single traveler with no wheels. It's about 30 minutes taxi ride from the airport which is not cheap.

Thought the rooms were quite nice and we'll kept. Enjoyed takimg advantage of the pool and the grill everyday.

Spacious living room and nice BBQ area in each apartment. Love the hot tub and the pool. The only thing I dislike is you have to pay extra $20 to use the air con in the entire apartment. Never seen such thing.

The location is perfect and the staff is so nice and friendly! The only reason they dont get a 5 is that the carpets were a bit dirty and the toaster didn't work.

Nice big rooms but outdated. Beaches near here are too rough to swim especially for kids.

What a glorious stay. Clean & just lovely. Spacious & quiet. MK the concierge is a delight. A full kitchen & outdoor bbq. It's set up to be home away from home. Every activity she recommended was a 10 out of 10! The pool is so calming & enough room to swim comfortably. About a 15 mins walk to the beach. A Turtle Shuttle will come pick u up from the condo & take you anywhere in Wailea or Kihea for around 3 dollars or so per person a ride. Very helpful. Highly recommend The Palms at Wailea Maui.

Condo needs fresh paint. Tiles chipped and worn. Lovely grounds. Wonderful visit. I would go again.

Upscale condo complex. Low rise low density. Cement structures are solid and quiet. Salt water infinity pool. Tropical grounds. Walk to Keawakapu Beach. Most suited for couples, but families are welcome.

Quiet condo complex on the Kihei side of Wailea. About a mile walk over to the shops at Wailea and 2 miles from Kihei. The closest beach is about a 1/2 mile walk. Great pool facility!

Fine vacation complex. At the start of Wailea. Easy to get in and out. A little dated though. Built in the late 80s, early 90s. Needs a refresher I think.

The pool and hot tub were amazing the rooms are beautiful as well as functional everthing you want for an adventure in paradise.

The southern Westside of the island is definitely the area to base your vacation operations from. The Palms is uniquely situated. The property is close to the beach (not on the beach), but isolated. The units themselves are pretty stacked on top of each other but you will still get that feeling of seclusion if privacy is what you wish. We had unit 702. It wasn't ultra modern. It wasn't entirely old. It had a nice turn of the century Hawaiian vibe to it, with the addition of flat screen tv's. Everything we needed it to be. If you're looking for that hotel resort life with maid service, on-site restaurant, and strange vacationers surrounding you every step of the way, this is not the place for you.

Our unit was very nice but others had problems with bugs etc. Any problems we had with no hot water was resolved quickly. It depends how polite you are to the people who work here to get good results like we did. Keep in mind this is not a new facility.

Exceed accommodations. Great location, only minutes from a gorgeous beach. Good snorkeling plus the occasional turtle added to our stay. Maui is a perfect vacation site.

Location is ideal — short drive to local restaurants and food trucks. Not on the beach, but beach access is a short drive and medium walk away. Most suites have AC only in the master bedroom and a handful renovated suites have AC throughout all the bedrooms and common areas. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable concierge on activities, food, beaches, you name it she will have some feedback on it. Great value compared to other locations nearby. Would return in the future!

The Palms is comfy and beautifully maintained. Our condo was nicely appointed, and Outrigger was very responsive to our needs. The grounds are beautiful, and the location is super convenient, just far enough from the main drag to be nice and quiet.

We love this condo complex! Very clean, fully stocked with anything you need. We will be staying there for the second time this year next week and are really looking forward to it! We love the fact that it has a fully stocked kitchen, a bbq, and washer/dryer in the unit. Very helpful and friendly staff as well.

Palms at Wailea is one of the amazing places you can stay. The condos are very nice inside and out and contain ample decorations. Services include complementary Wi-Fi of average performance, complimentary cable services, an amazing kitchen with various household supplies, and balconies with breathtaking views. Setups are fairly nice and I can't say I would have to adjust them in any way. The condo that I stayed at had the air conditioning in one room and had trouble cooling down the entire place. Other than that I would say this is a great place to stay and bring the family.

Facilities and location are great. There was an issue with our room before we arrived but they upgraded us at no charge and were really helpful. Sunsets by the pool are magnificent.

We were very pleased with our stay. I read some reviews that stated they were out-dated but ours was very nice & modern. We had a 1 bedroom garden villa. It was very close to lots of shops & beaches & the staff was friendly & helpful! We will be back!

Great place to stay with kids. Spacious apartment with a full kitchen. Balcony equipped with BBQ grill and a couple propane tanks. Pool is a good size with hot tub. Open 8 am to 10 pm. Try to book one with air conditioning in the living area as it can get pretty stuffy. Quiet hours in effect from 10 pm.

Great accommodation for families
We arrived here with two children and were in Honolulu before. The facility here is very spacious, quiet and well maintained. The accommodation is very (! ) spacious and has everything it needs, even for self catering. Beautiful beaches close by, activities or shopping facilities all there. It's just beautiful!

The condo we rented here was nice. The hot tub and pool were perfect place to relax. Only negative is no fitness room.

It was very comfortable and the price was perfect.

Convenient location, big rooms, full kitchen, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, huge patio, close to the beach, nice pool, friendly staff.

Very nice location, quiet and close to the best beach to watch sunset. The only thing I did not like is you have to pay for AC in the main room.

Updates and very spacious. Staff very pleasant and helpfull. Pool could be a little cooler, to warm for my tast. Ground are well kept. 7 units rented between our 26 family members and not one complaint.

Our room was great, but had a few little things that bothered our party. Pros: The unit was very spacious and we'll kept, lots of towels and linens already in the unit, kitchen was fully equipped, parking is convenient, HEATED pool and pool area is great. Cons: The sheets didn't smell very fresh, the living room clock was not working, microwave was outdated, bathtub could be cleaner, there were no bathrobes, 3m hooks in the bathtub area was a bit tacky. Overall, I would stay here again and highly recommend!

The rooms were spacious, clean, bright and will furnished. The location was great and the pool was very well cared for. I would stay there again.

Good for the price, beautiful area and not far from surrounding cities. Only thing lacking is a bar by the pool. The actual room is very large and has very welcoming feel to it.

The condo was very bright and spacious, over 1000 square feet, nicely furnished with a large bathroom and really large lanai. The kitchen had everything — new appliances, granite countertops and large bright windows which opened up to the lanai. The pool and grounds were lovely. The concierge staff were very helpful, particularly Nani who generously helped us print our boarding passes for our flights home. I would not hesitate to return to this resort or recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed at the Outrigger Palms in July of 2014. Nice location, filthy villa! There were hair clumps on the wall of one shower, and the other one obviously didn't have the walls washed down. It was requested we remove our shoes in the villa. We did and then noticed our feet were turning black from the carpet and floors. There was a nasty odor coming from under the sink in the kitchen. We pulled the bag from the trash can and the smell of vomit filled the kitchen area. The maids put new bags into a vomit lined can. We were only there for 2 nights before our other accommodations were available and were very happy to leave. We'll never stay there again, so disgusting.

My wife and I stayed at the Palms at Wailea from the 12th till the 22nd of November. Upon returning home, I had occasion to visit my doctor, and mentioned that I thought I had some spider bites on my upper leg. After looking at them he declared that they were bed bug bites. You have a lovely location there, and many aspects of our suite were very nice. However, I must say that the overall cleanliness was very poor. We would not be staying there again unless there is a verifiable improvement. Sincerely, B. Hudson.

These small apartments were a welcome change of our hotel rooms routine during our honeymoon. Located at a non-really-wakling-distance from the beach, the Outrigger offers a very good bargain for the price. The concierge was simply fantastic and booked everything for us: her suggestions saved us money and time and were the highlights of our stay in Maui. Our apartment was huge, with 2 restrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Being able to cook yourself is a nice change when you are in the US, as an European. We did not really use any of the facilities of the structure. During our stay, they had to run some kind of checks on the air conditioning, which run perfectly in our bedroom and was not really necessary in the living room (unless you are used to polar temperatures, I guess). We even had a funny moment at the end of our stay were we forgot we were supposed to leave (yes, we were THAT relaxed) and skipped our checkout. The hotel did not pose any issue, even though we had to pay another day of course, and just extended our booking of the room for us. A very nice alternative to those huge resorts.

Location is great pool is nice and size of place is nice. Everything is out dated and most of all were in hawaii where it is always warm weather and no air condition! I can't stay through this summer here to hottt.
