I've been coming to Maui Hill for 35 years, since I was a wee babe, and have never been disappointed. Still love it as much as ever. It's truly a condo resort. No restaurants or bars. You can find all that (and the beach) within walking distance, though. Highly recommend this resort. I do miss the views we used to have, which is what drops out from a five star review. Some units do still have the views.

We are staying in a 2 bedroom condo (21) that you can tell is an older building, but is very much renovated. It has everything that you want in a resort style room. Full kitchen is fully decked out, if you wanted to cook every night you were here, then you could do that. It is in close proximity to a lot of things to do. The beach is just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Whenever I'm in Maui, for business or pleasure, I stay here, the beautiful sunsets, the location is just awesome. Most importantly the GM Mr. Dennis Costa is first class all the way, and it trickles down to his staff. As a local, I highly recommend you choose this place to stay for your vacation, it's a home away from home, everything you need for a comfortable visit is all here. Full kitchen, washer and dryer in each unit, huge living room and Lanai, you can't go wrong.

So happy with our stay at Maui Hill! Already planning a return trip next year! Nice size lanai with great views. Living room size allows everyone their own space. We stayed in the one bedroom two bath, and we checked out the three bedroom for next year when we bring the kids. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed for cooking. Loved the fact that the washer/dryer are in the room, very convenient. Walking distance to great beach, and shopping and restaurants minutes away.

This is a conveniently located facility. It is a little older, but well maintained. Some of the furnishings in our unit could use a replacement. The staff was always helpful.

Awesome digs at crazy affordable price compared to home state. Clean, quiet close to beach and Great views (not only scenic ;) ) Will be back.

Being a timeshare owner has its perks! Although I own a timeshare on Maui, I always exchange for Maui Hill. Units are always clean and the grounds are always kept tidy. Tennis, shuffleboard, a pool and hot tub are wonderful amenities to this property. I've been visiting this property for over 10 years and keep Returning! Highly recommended!

We have been here numerous times over the past 12 years. There is no place else I would ever go. There's no other place you can go to paradise but still feel at home. Mahalo for the memories!

Nice rooms, clean and have everything you need. People are great and workers very helpful. Love it.

The manager did everything he could to take care of us when grandpa was having a hard time with the stairs to our unit. Nice big patios, air conditioning, ceiling fans, ok bathrooms, small galley kitchens. Nice pool area, putting green, shuffleboard. Short walk or drive to beaches and shopping, dining. Great value. Could use updating, but decorations are island style, everything kept in repair (they even fixed a broken sprinkler that was "fountaining" onto the patio in early morning after I let them know). Gardens are beautiful. Birds, lizards to entertain curious small children. Few mosquitoes and gnats, but not overwhelming (we have more at home). Nice place to relax when you have a family gathered with a range of ages.

Just great. Despite rented garden view we look at the sea. The apartment is very nice (apartment hardly meets yet). Better than any hotel.

Very nice place to go on holiday very quiet good dependencies type apartments with all inclusive, for cooking, washing and excellent view towards the sea. Just steps from the beach walking, swimming pool ♀ ️ temperate and very nice staff if you do not walk by car you can ask for taxi and they are not very expensive you can even order food from the Hotel type delivery. — The weather is well varied in Maui suddenly it can rain with 25 degrees and it is not cold, bring a raincoat if necessary!

Beautiful resting place and wonderful environment lots of vegetation, beachfront with an excellent view, features an outdoor swimming pool on the terrace, close to all shopping centers and restaurants; It has a beautiful terrace with bar and restaurant with live music all night long; Although it rains suddenly no problem and k everything is prepared for those events. — You have to go.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The price is less expensive than surrounding areas. Not on the beach however, so you have to walk or drive to do anything.

The place is dated but clean. Patrons tend to be older (+65 crowd). People in office are nice and helpful. Short walk to beach. No fitness center. Shuffleboard and putting green are in good shape. Multiple gas bbq's located around property.

Beautiful place, great staff, very comfortable and spacious units, and great location for sightseeing and the beach! Love that it is in a less touristy area, so it has a more authentic Hawaiian feel.

Great spot for vacationing, with only a minute walk to the beach (although it is across the highway). Cheaper than the resorts just south of here in Wailea, but no less beautiful of a spot. Staff is friendly and helpful, we havent had any problems getting what we need. Could have been closer to the town, its about a 25 minute walk to the nearest store down the busy highway.

Beautiful location with amazing views! Our condo was very comfortable with a huge lanai that had amazing views of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't find anything negative to say about this property.

Nice accommodations for the price, I live on the island of Maui full time was only there to visit a friend! they have a gorgeous view of the water! and you are close to everything! There's a pool maid service long term& short term, not too sure about the arrangement's although it is a lovely place for a family to call home away from home here on Maui, better than a Hotel. I've done both this is the way to go.

We have been vacationing at Maui Hill since the 90's and have always enjoyed our stays. The condo units are rather large with full kitchens and nice patios. Quite a few units have ocean views and the grounds are exceptional. One thing that has been consistent all these years is the General Manager, Dennis Costa. Dennis is an icon and one of the nicest folks you will ever meet. I people watch and can tell the staff just absolutely love this guy as he treats them like family. The staff in turn will treat you with that same type of Aloha! If you love friendly people who will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is awesome, then this is the place to vacation. You will not regret staying at Maui Hill, trust me.

This is a fantastic resort. We booked online and read all the positive reviews. Wow! It really lived up to the expectations. Very clean rooms and easy access to beaches.

For the price, there are other places in the area I might have enjoyed more. You really need a car if you are staying here, otherwise you have a long walk uphill to get back from the beach. Though check-in staff was pleasant, they did not have staff on hand to assist with luggage nor a cart to take me to the room at 11 pm. Might have been ok if the property was well lit with clear markings, but that is a pretty basic expectation. Other than that, the property is well-maintained and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Awesome resort, nice, cordial, professional and helpful staff. Well managed, beautiful grounds and views of the Haleakala and the ocean. Rooms and decor are always upgraded and make visitors feel welcome. Concierge staff is always available for recommendations and suggestions Aloha!

This place is amazing! Although dated, the rooms are updated and the grounds are impeccably manicured! The General Manager, Dennis Costa is first rate. He not only oversees all of the facilities, but he is one of the owners and lives here full time! He pays attention to every detail and, in fact, I see him picking up leaves, etc. When he is out walking the facilities! There is tremendous pride of ownership here!

This is a big… I do mean big room hotel or condo. They don't make rooms that big and spacious anymore. So, if you have claustrophobia, here is the hotel that's made for you! The beach across the street is a fine beach, too. The air conditioning in the rooms, I noticed, works extra well. Better than a lot of the other hotel rooms. The rooms all have a big kitchen. Extra, super big living room. With an attached dining area.

Great rooms! Location is not directly on the beach, but you are less than a 5 minute walk to the beach if you are at the top of the property. Views are good depending on your room location. Ground level sees the beautiful landscape of the property and upper levels see the ocean and/or sunsets. Pool is nice. Employees are very friendly and helpful. After driving around and seeing the rest of the island, we think Kihei is the area to be in. Great views and plenty to do. Great selection of restaurants within a walk or drive. Would come back again to this area.

Units are lovely. Quite large too. Only 2 units per building; one upstairs and one downstairs. House keeping comes every day.

Great location, excellent service, nice facilities and center to everything in Maui.

Rooms were well maintained. Close to kihei only a short drive away. Would have preferred something a little more central. But all in all a good value for the cost.

The place is a bit dated with regards to the facilities and decor but makes up for with location and courteous service. We got a unit labeled as garden view but still provides a view of the ocean and Lanai and Molokai in the distance.

The rooms feel a bit dated in furniture but new TVs and new appliances in the kitchen and well stocked for equipment. The in house laundry is small but sufficient. Facility is well maintained and clean. The pool is great for kids and good for adults including hot tub. The concierge is friendly, helpful and no pressure for bookings. While not on the beach it is well situated.

We have a lovely garden view 2 bedroom suite. It is quite spacious with a lovely porch (lanai). We have a fairly secluded without much of a view but that makes it feel really private. Beach are quite close, maybe a 5 minute walk. The pool is lovely and the kids have gone swimming 4 times in a day and a half. I'm looking forward to the Mai Tai's by the pool on Tuesday (spring 2016) Grocery store about 10 minutes away. Concierge has been fantastic and we have book a luau, dinner cruise and aquarium passes at a discount with him after his information session on our first morning, it also had snacks and fruit, a bonus since we didn't have any groceries yet. The coffee in the lobby was free and tasty. Only thing lacking in our condo was a cookie sheet but the baking dish was a good substitute and a tea pot but the coffee pot worked just fine instead.

Great place to stay. Very friendly. Pretty quiet and great staff.

Clean place. Great service. Really nice place to stay! Got upgraded to a bedroom from a 2 bedroom. Worked out perfect for my family.

Old and crusty units … Tons of people, nice location … Have had much better!

Been staying here for over a decade and I love it.

We spent 11 days there in August 2014. After a week in Honolulu, the Aston Maui Hill was a welcome change. We were six in all. Me, my wife, three son's and our new daughter-in-law. The grounds are beautiful, the buildings and decor a bit dated but obviously a remodel program is in the works. The location is great, Kihei is a wonderful non — Lahaina location. Typically when we visit Hawaii, I'm a wallet with legs. Not so much here. We plan on coming back soon.

My family and I were recently on Maui to attend our family reunion and enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Aston Maui Hill! Excellent staff and a very knowledgable tour desk coordinator, helped arrange our snorkeling tour (my nephews enjoyed it) and several events @ the registration/pool area like Mai Tai night. My sisters enjoyed themselves! The fully equipped kitchen, 2 baths and 2 bedroom/washer and dryer/large living room and flat screen tv's in both bedrooms and living room made TV viewing enjoyable (no fighting for the remote). Finally, as a disabled person, I always felt safe and able to move around in the condo and the hotel grounds with ease! Mahalo to the staff and management of the Aston Maui Hill for your 5 star service and I know my family and I will be back here in future trips to Maui! Mahalo nui, Philip Kamoku.
