Stayed few nights and only one thing to say, Best Place to stay with friendly staff and great breakfast. Service at its best. It was very comfortable stay. Shall definitely recommend all my friends and family if ever they are in the area to definitely stay here. Cheers.

For the price, this is a good place to stop for the night. Breakfast had: coffee, OJ, Milk, Fruit Loops, Raisin Brand, Frosted Flakes, Toast, Microwave Sausage and cheese biscuits, bananas, donuts, and oatmeal. The room was warm so I suggest checking in and turning on your AC before exploring Morgantown. I can not speak to the cable/TV as we connected to Wi-Fi and watched Netflix on our own devices. It served it's purpose and is close to nice restaurants and gas stations. That water pressure!

Pay cash and not credit cards. We got scammed today. They charged our card for the room but also charged 50 on a seperate transaction. Thank God we checked our transactions. We caught them, confronted and now its gonna take a few days to get reimbursed. Also, the housekeeper barged in our room without knocking. While we were gone visiting our sick daughter in the hospital, housekeeping threw our food away besides a sub that was in the fridge. She brought it back after explaining she placed it in the employee refridgerator. Worst experience ever. Too bad, because the room was very nice and comfortable.

At check in person was friendly pleasant. Room was good size, clean and comfortable. Powerful shower. No complaints, breakfast basic.

Beds were clean, which is good. The carpet was dirty in the room smelled like baby powder. The desk chair was so dirty I wouldn't sit in it. The staff was good. We were just here for the night needed a bed and shower. It did serve that purpose. The place did need serious updating.

Friendly staff, great rates, clean rooms. Have been staying here for years for events in Morgantown — always enjoy our stay!

Not to bad for a quick stay rooms were clean but the TV kept going on the fritz. No ice machine had to keep going to the office to get the ice being disabled this was very much an inconvenience. No smoking rooms at all had to stand in the freezing cold.

I only gave one star because I cannot give zero. I will NEVER stay here. I was not in my room an 20 minutes, I watched a bed bug crawl across the bed. I complaoned to front desk, they offered to change rooms. I reluctantly complied. I was not on the second room 10 minutes before I decided to leave. They REFUSED to refund my money. Stating that they could only refund me 50% BECAUSE I HAD BEEN IN THE ROOMS AND TURNED DOWN THE SHEETS. I will be calling corporate in the morning as well as the health department. I do not blame the clerk but management is horrible. I wish I had thought to photograph the bug instead of bolting out of the room.

It's was ok room wise but the ppl who run the place are nice and good ppl. I would def stay again.

Room was comfy, could of used more towels. But it was a nice stay.

Three stars for price and convenience to coliseum. Basic amenities and clean but needs major remodel.

Outside areas needed some work. Room was clear but microwave inside was a missing paint all over the bottom. Looked bad. Very Small breakfast area.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but this place is simply a place to sleep off a buzz after WVU games and nothing more. Very dated and dilapidated all-around, but not dangerously so. The bed was relatively comfy, but the pillows were flat and mostly worthless as you'd expect. The "continental breakfast" is pretty laughable, but hey, I like cereal.

So, there’s no glitzy sign by the road. The front lot is empty and the place looks abandoned when you drive up. The back of the motel has rooms that have been updated. They are clean. There is a microwave and fridge. Decent Wi-Fi. Everything works. They just resurfaced the back lot and painted new lines. There was a guy upstairs on one of the wings power-washing the walkway. I got the impression they are updating the place when they have the money. Pretty good deal for the money.

$45 room for $70. Furniture was old and scratched. Bathroom shower was stained. It had been cracked and poorly repaired. TV channels don't include ABC or PBS and reception on several made viewing impossible. Best parts were the comfortable and firm king bed plus the Jacuzzi tub.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Good location near WVU. Front desk staff very friendly during check in and check out. Nice room without spending a fortune.

Let's just say it's $59.99! So you get what you pay For! The establishment is old, however, it is clean! The room's are decent! Bring your own pillow, I'm not sure what these are stuffed with, but they don't give, not even an inch! The showers don't drain well. Water pressure and temperature are amazing. We will probably stay again!

We got a 1 bed, king size room. It was very clean, and we'll kept. Bed is comfortable. Nice TV. Has a wardrobe to hang clothes if needed. Bathroom is clean, and decent shower. They serve breakfast too! Desk attendant was very nice.

This place is great if you're looking for just the basics. It's great for the price. Our room was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was good, with bagels, pastries, cereal, coffee, and other drinks. The staff seemed friendly, however, couldn't really gauge how helpful they were because we didn't have any issues. I would definitely stay here again.

The non-smoking room smelt like cigarette smoke.

It was ok, service was fine. HOWEVER the smell in the room was not good and imo smelled bad. Other than that it was an ok experience.

Rooms are big! Was given a non smoking room that had so many fleas! I was bitten all over legs and arms! Had to change rooms! Next room that was given smelt like urine, alcohol and cigarette smoke! Not very please! Awful! I would rather slept in my SUV!

Clean rooms, great people working there, comfortable beds, and great breakfast. Only problem I had was getting the same rate we had the first night as I was promised by front desk staff. Other than that I would most definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean room, free continental breakfast, and cheap rates. Couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Great place to stay.

Ok for price. $48 with a good breakfast.

We needed a place to stay. It served the purpose. We were there for about 6 hours while driving through the state. Didn't need anything.

The location is pretty nice. You're about 1 mile from stores you need and about half mile from campus. Theirs plenty to eat around here. From what I can see the service is great. I work 10 hrs a day so I'm not here much. But when I come back it's very clean and everything is restocked.

Cheap and clean. Comes with basic breakfast, great location for WVU basketball games.

This place is awful… We couldn't stay more than an hour because of the smell in the room-pure mold. The bathroom ceiling has very obvious damage to it, and it just didn't look or feel clean. Got one extra star because they let us go with no fees.

The pics overepresent the outdated place… there is mold in the room, especially bathroom and drainage in tub was slow, no real continental breakfast.

No complaints for this budget hotel. Room was clean, everything worked fine. Staff was friendly.

I stayed here during the WV Pop Con recently. Was very pleased w/ the value for the price, great free breakfast items in the morning, the room had ice cold AC, New shower w/ hot water. Clean mini fridge, Hbo, starz, and Encore channels. My only complaint is the privacy from the window curtains that look into the halls: they do not close well enough.

Great place to stay! I stayed here many times in the past 5 years. The manager, Rachel, was always friendly and helpful. Don't pay attention to the nonsense on here about poor management, this is an extremely busy hotel, so not everyone who complains gets exactly what they want! Would stay here again any time.

The stay at the Econo Lodge was very pleasant, very affordable, the staff was excellent and helped with anything that was asked, everything was very clean, neat and professional, and I was very pleased with my stay here. I recommend it to anyone coming to the area over any other place, (and believe me I've stayed just about everywhere. ) I know the management has changed, and I am very surprised at how much better the place is ran. Their reputation was not the greatest before, so if anyone had a bad experience before, I would definitely give it another chance because they have definitely turned it around here. I had a dog and being pet-friendly was a plus also. The only small problem I had with anything was the noise from neighbors which was not even a problem because they were in bed by 9. I give you 2-thumbs-up on quality, the facility, and the service for sure! Thanks for stay, we'll definitely be back! =).

I have stayed at this hotel every football season for several years but after this past week I'll NEVER stay again! The room hadn't been cleaned when we checked in and there were no other rooms available so we had to wait outside at 10pm while it was cleaned. We were also woken up at 4am by the police who were arresting the man in the room next to us for having loaded guns in his room and threatening customers with them and I was promised a discount upon checkout. After trying to reach the manager Rachel for 6 DAYS she finally called me today to tell me they gave me a $20 discount and then she hung up on me while I was asking her questions. Terrible customer service! Her attitude was uncalled for. They lost my business forever.

Worst experience ever! Our toilet broke everytime we attempted to flush it, I was affraid to even touch the drapes and it simply did not feel safe with all the suspicious looking people roaming the halls with beer. The worst part is that they charged my card an additional $150 without informing me! I had to call and inquire about the charges, only to find out that they claim my family and I put a hole in the bathroom wall (Which we most certainly did not! ) I stayed with my parents and brother in this garbage pit for 1 night in order to save some $, but have now paid $230! PLEASE RUN THE OTHER WAY.
