The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Room needed some cosmetic repair. It would be useful to have a small fridge and microwave in the room as we had no means to save the food we purchased when there. For a one night stay, it served its purpose and we were close to the local casino.

Location was good. However, beds in room were extremely low to the floor. Would have been hard for a senior/handicap person to lay down. No refrigerator or microwave. No Kleenex in the room. The bathroom door looked like a couple of bugs had been killed on it. Probably wouldn't stay here again or recommend to anyone. Had stayed the night before at Knights Inn and it was $12.00 cheaper and much more accomadating.

The staff was nice and friendly. Their office was well kept and clean. But my room was disgusting. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom that I know wasn’t mine (my hair is green and short, this was long and brown). There was no toilet paper on my room. And they only left me one large towel, when the towel holder holds 4. I’m guessing the cleaning crew just didn’t clean my room or didn’t pay much attention to it. And didn’t restock anything along the way.

The room was clean, Maybe some toiletries like shampoo and conditioner would have been nice. The toilet semi worked and on check out I did tell the front desk. For a place in a hurry for one night It was fine but that's about it.

The front desk person was very pleasant and accomodating. The room at first sight appeared to be very neat and clean. I found hair in my bed and on the covers. The bathroom look like someone had an accident. There was brown stuff all over the floor, between the toilet and the tub. I was still able to get a good night's sleep, it was quiet. Thank you.

A lot of small things happened to make this an unpleasant experience. First, I booked a room with a single king, but got a double queen. Second, the non smoking room smelled like smoke. Third, the floor felt dirty under my feet, and when I wiped a small spill off the floor, the white towel came up black with dirt. Forth, the bath tub had a leak and I kept having to refill it. Finally, I paid the $5 extra for Wi-Fi, but the connection was terrible and I kept getting knocked off. I only stayed here because I needed a dog friendly room and the red roof was full. I was too exhausted to complain and get a new room, though I probably should have. I would not recommend this place to anyone but the desperate.

Right off the interstate. Great location. Front desk girl was very polite and helpful. A good no frills place for an over night stay for a decent price.

If I could enter a quarter of a star, I would. This place is horrible, very shabby for the money (almost $80 for 1 night). I asked for a non-smoking king bed & when I opened the door, the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering. Wow, it was really awful. Jessica at the front desk was very pleasant & moved us to another room with 2 queen beds. This room doesn't smell, but that's the only good thing I can say about it — the beds sag in the middle & I'm not sure the sheets are clean, looks like they might not have been changed from the last guests. The bathroom counter is dirty too. Go to a Quality Inn down the road & pay an extra $10, I'm sure it's got to be better than this place.

Location was great for me. The room was a basic room. It was clean. The check-in and out process was smooth and staff was very friendly. The room was non-smoking, however, there was a residual smoke smell especially when the air conditioning was on. The A. C. Was loud but we did not complain. It's an older building which explains a lot. There were plenty of towels, soap and cups. The TV worked. We left a pair of rx glasses in a case. When I called they immediately verified they were in the office and we worked out getting then returned. We were in the room only long enough to sleep and shower. The room is a very basic sleeping room. It isn't claimed to be more. The surrounding area was well maintained and even had a pool. For my needs, which was an inexpensive room to sleep in while visiting relatives, it was fine. Actually, more than I had expected for the price. I will not hesitate to stay there again.

This has been one of my favorite go-tos for a night or two of escape. Unfortunately the price per night has gone up about 20% here recently. But the rooms are always clean, the staff is always friendly and it is within walking distance to everything, a great location.

The sink did not drain properly, but otherwise things were ok. Affordable, and pet friendly (although the dog was not with me this trip. )

Lovely stay. I see comments about not having certain luxuries in the rooms. I don't think you all realize motel 6 set up. It's a basic economy motel. Some of the motel 6 around the country are independently owned and add extras to their rooms. This is not motel 6 corporate standards though and you better believe those extras are built into the price. Nothing is truly free. I've worked in the industry for 30 years and it blows my mind people expect all the free stuff at such a low price.

Nice clean rooms with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms need mini fridges tho. Definitely would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

My family and I went on vacation for for days so we stayed here three nights. It was a decent motel. I would definitely stay here again.

It was peaceful and quiet, the price was ok and the staff was nice, the two things that I was dissatisfied with were The Bed because it was hard as a rock, and springs were coming through the bed, and the loud squeaky noise when you rolled over, The Wi-Fi cost $5.99 a day and only one device could be connected to it at a time. But other than that everything was nice. Thank you for the stay, and I appreciate the fact that you think of your guests. I would most definitely come back to stay, but need comfy beds.

I spend a lot of nights on the road traveling and have stayed at Motel 6 before, but this stay turned out to be a disaster. The air control did not work in my room so I was uncomfortable all night. My neighbor kept his TV blaring all night and I had nothing but 2 hand towels for my shower. It was surprising as I normally have no issues.

I have spent weeks away from home to work. I have found the rooms to be sufficiently cleaned and comfortable. I have yet to ask for fresh towels, my bed is always made and my mess is completely cleaned. I'm thankful to stay in a place where I fell comfortable enough not to miss my own home. I would like to give a special thanks to Jessica at the front desk who when asked has always taken care of me in a kind and timely fashion.

The staff here is very friendly. Jessica at the front desk always takes good care of me! I noticed some of the bad comments on here are very harsh. I can tell you from experience that they have a rough crowd here some times and people just don't like to follow the rules. Like not being loud all night. I had to complain about a room being noisy. The GM took care of it right away. The next morning I heard the "noisy" people complaining in the lobby to the maintenance guy about the GM asking him to keep it down. Guess everyone doesn't have common sense about respecting others. Anyway, I will definitely be back!

Good stay. Housekeeping could have been better. A few dust bunnies floating around. Other than that it was fine.

West Charleston Cross Lanes was outstanding! I work/ travel and have stayed at about 40 different hotels in the last year. Super nice staff that were compassionate, real people. Uncommon in the costumer service industry nowadays. Would stay here again and would recommend to everyone. They are also pet friendly… they ushered our cat/dog Dallas from the mat in front of our open door into our room as we slept.

I have stayed at this Motel several times and the staff is professional and friendly. Housekeeping is always helpful anytime I requested anything they always got it for me in a timely manner Sierra at the front desk is always friendly and helpful with anything I needed. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area. It's affordable and a family environment.

Honestly for the price it's very good. I stay in hotels about 70% of the time due to work. The location is close to anything you would need, and the people at the front desk are always polite.

The bed was broke down and visibly sinking on the side my husband slept on. Both of the comforters had burn holes and stains on them. Th dust ruffle over the box spring was so so dirty. The floors were black. My child walked on them and her feet were absolutely disgusting within 30 mins. So much so that we all wore our shoes the rest of the evening. Two of the lights were broken and just the bulbs were exposed. I understand it was a cheap room but never again will I make my family stay there. We will continue to use the Red Roofs or Best Westerns in the area. The front staff lady was very nice but there was a very visible lady who was under some influence there hanging around the front door that came in and asked for an ice bucket and was told that she was not allowed to be there.

It was a nice room for the price. The front desk staff was very nice! We were put in a non smoking room, yet there were ashtrays in the room. I did tell the front desk clerk and she confirmed it was non smoking even though there were ashtrays in the room. The bed was a little too hard for my back and the floor and bed covers had cigarette burn holes. The next day while packing up the car to leave, we noticed why… the young lady who was cleaning a room next to ours was inside the other room making the bed WHILE smoking a cigarette. I would still stay here again but the hired help for cleaning should be reprimanded to not do that. I was nervous about getting charged for smoking in the room, when I didn't, all because of the cleaning girl possibly smoking in our room after we left while she cleaned. Luckily no one accused us… but others might not get so lucky in the future.

The best part of my stay was the excellent customer service while checking in. The woman helping me, apologies for not getting her name, was friendly and efficient! The room was comfortable and an excellent value. I would definitely stay there again.

First two rooms given to me were a a gamble. Not cleaned, beds unmade. I'm disabled so going back and forth to the office was painful. Finally. Another customer was kind enough to go to the office for me after I asked him if his beds were unmade, too. But the pillows were the only comfortable pillows I've had for at least a decade. I keep buying pillows trying to find one that was comfortable. But they refused to sell me one. I think, after all the trouble I had they should have given me one. I got online and found they only pay about 12 per pillow, but you have to buy a case.

I stayed at this motel about a year ago. It was much better than this time. This time the room was a handicap room. It was not clean. The mirrors had streaks all over them. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it. There was no clock, no shampoo, no hairdryer. The floor had laminate that was in bad shape. I would have asked for another room but I figured if the handicap room which I would expect to be better than the others was this bad there wasn't a better one. The one saving grace was that I did not come home with bed bugs.

The Staff were excellent and very personable went the extra mile. However the room was upgraded and appeared clean but the floor was my only issue, it needed mopped so so bad. The grounds were well kept and the units in good shape and the AC crew I spoke to were very pleasant and hard working. I would stay again and I go there to track and will stay again. Thank you.

YUCK! 0 stars Don't know why anybody would sleep in this dump. I'm suprised it hasn't been condemned. Went immediately back to office to get a refund… The desk clerk was the only good thing here. Friendly and helpful. He needs to find a job at a good motel. Would be an asset.

Had to sit in my car to search for the best deal for this place since the clerk was not forthcoming. He waited for me to finish so I could register. He was nice once that was done and seemed understanding. As far as clean, I was so tired I didn't see the blood drops on the floor or the coffee splatter on the wall behind the bathroom door until I was ready for sleeping. The bed and sink were clean. Only had 1 towel and 1 washcloth in the room. No hand towel. I would have had to drive clear around to the front to get another towel and ice so I just opted to sleep. Very disappointed.

First of all the front desk staff was excellent. I only wish I would have gotten his name so I could compliment him by name. When I walked in the lobby he said to another individual staying at the facility that he had just had to kick some people out of the property due to obnoxious behavior. When we got to our assigned room my wife and I noticed there were some problems. The shower had hair in it that was immediately noticeable. We pulled the covers back and noticed hair on the sheets in the bed. When my wife went to wash her hands she noticed the soap was open and previously used as well as there was hair in the sink. We laid down and tried to get some sleep because it was after midnight and we had already driven for five hours with five more hours to go before we got home. The bed was so uncomfortable that I considered laying in the floor except when I looked at it I noticed that it did not look swept or cleaned (it was wood colored linoleum). That was when our neighbors started walking outside our door and yelling and talking loudly. We stayed for about an hour and when we realized we were not getting any sleep we decided to leave and finish driving home because driving all night tired was the exceedingly better choice than what we were subjecting ourselves to. I loaded the car and drove to the office. I told the guy at the front desk we were checking out and he said we had only been there a few hours and wanted to know if everything is ok.

I'll update if anything changes, but great so far. Josh at the front desk is great. He even noticed my military ID when I pulled out my license, and gave a military discount. Clean cool room with a comfy bed in a convenient location.

Excellent service, everyone that I interacted with was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival I noticed the refrigerator had some thing in it that needed cleaning. One of the housekeepers was nearby and I asked for a old piece of cloth to clean it. Before I could finish explaining the situation the young lady drop/stop what she was doing and came right over and clean the refrigerator out. I just wished that I had gotten her name so I could include it here. The folks at the front desk were also very nice. We went out for a while and I did not request that the room be cleaned, when we came back the room was cleaned. Needless to say, that I was very impressed with everything and everyone. I have stayed at this location many times over the last 30 years and things have always been nice and I truly do appreciate the kindness/service of everyone. Thanks; (~_~)!

This is a very clean hotel. We were treated very well and given great treatment especially as seniors in our late 70's. Rooms are sparsely furnished but we only needed a good bed which we had and were given a "handicapped room" though not handicapped did come in handy because of the large bathroom and handrails on tub. No carpeting but would be advantageous if a wheelchair was needed. Also 1st floor with easy access. Yes we would stay there again.!

I stay at Motel 6 chains because they allow pets for free and are inexpensive. This being said, my expectations are fairly low. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was very friendly and helpful with directions for dining. However, my nonsmoking room was equipped with an ashtray, and smelled as though it had been smoked in recently. The bathroom had a water leak for which I could not identify the source but between that and the smoke laden towels I opted not to shower. The sheets were very wrinkled on both beds leaving me wondering if they had been changed since the last guests left, but I decided not knowing was better than asking. All in all, for the price I paid you can't go wrong. I travel on a budget and got what I paid for. However, if you're looking for a nice fancy room with exquisite amenities — this hotel is not for you.

Let me start by saying that this was the only room I could get for this weekend; everything within over an hour away was sold out for the soccer regional competition. I checked in after 9:00 pm and received my room key for a smoking room which I had not requested; was never given an option when booking. As I approached my room, the shades were open and the light was on so that I could see the the room had not been cleaned and the bed was used. I returned to the desk to let the girl know and she told me that there was nothing she could do and couldn't let me have the room! She was the only one there and cleaning service was not available. I was 9 hours from home and staying at least 3 days; needless to say I was not happy and had to have that room. I asked for sheets to change the bedding myself. I had to argue with her to get a room that I had booked; if I had any other option, I would have left and went somewhere else. She did give me clean sheet, which I changed myself. I had to clean cigarette butts out of the shower, a make shift ashtray out of the bathroom, and take out the trash. Kept my shoes on at all times due to the dirty floor and our clothes zipped up in our bags so they didn't smell like smoke. The room stunk! I had to go back to the desk and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. There was cigarette holes burned into the mattress, the pillows, and even the TV remote. Cleaning NEVER cleaned or restocked the room the entire time I was there (3 days).

Front end receptionist was very nice and patient with the line that was in front of me as I entered the room. She was able to answer all my questions and help me get connected to the internet. So that part of the stay was great. The room was clean and the light was on like the commercial said it would be. Only down side as paying for the internet and it didn't spoil me like my Wi-Fi at home does. Internet was a bit slow but I was still able to get the streaming in like I had hoped.

Run! The first room we were given was still dirty at 530 p. M. The beds were a mess and towels were thrown everywhere. The second room reeked of nothing but gross cigarettes when we stated "no smoking room". May have good prices but who wants a dirty room?

This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We checked in and our room had 2 wash cloths and a floor towel. No other towels. Our room had no remote control. There was no ice. The room was gross. Stains on the bed and the floor was sticky. We asked for towels and there were none clean. When we checked out, the poor desk clerk had no idea how to refund any money. Plus we paid for Internet twice and it was on and of working. Not worth the $67.

Don't rent here. They wake you up rushing you out. We stayed for a couple of days, at first everything was cool. Then… Sorry check out is noon not 9 am.

Less than one star, I was put in the back row of rooms, where there were loud people, all night long in and out of the rooms, TV volume on high, one had a dog. One woman kept running back and forth and talking at the top of her lungs. I believe they have people that live there. The heat/ac unit didn't work properly, very loud like the compressor was having issues, every time it came on it woke me up which was about every 10 minutes, I went to turn in my keys and the girl asked me how was my stay and I told her it was awful she said oh I'm sorry. That was it… NEVER STAY HERE.

Room service was great. The man at the counter was fantastic. The hotel was without walking distance to a lot of great stores and gas stations.

I have stayed at some really nice places and I have stayed at some really Bad one's to. Called before traveling and made reservations for two rooms beside one another. We arrived with rooms completely on opposite sides of property. Ask for nonsmoking rooms and both rooms had burns in the bed the water was turned off for several hours the room beside us was fighting all night police had to come. IF I COULD I Would RATE on the ___ scale.

Horrible experience we were traveling with another couple they guaranteed is rooms next to each other when we reserved the rooms when we checked in we did not get rooms even close also asked for non smoking rooms these rooms reeked of smoke even had ash trays in them they have hard wood floors so the people tramping in the room beside us all night was horrible as was their constant fighting called front desk they said they would come take care of it never did we even had to call the police.

Adequate for the price. Nothing fancy. Could be a little cleaner.

The evening attendant make every effort to make sure I received a room close to the office since I was traveling alone. My reservation was made using On-star. She has a A+ on my list. Motel 6 please leave the light on for me thanks. Janice Jones.

We had the worst experience ever with a Motel 6. Stayed here a couple weeks ago. The bed had broken springs in it. You could feel every one of them. One side of the bed was not level/broken down. You were afraid to move out of fear of falling right off the edge. Room was a non smoking room but smelled horribly of stale smoke. I would not recommend staying in this particular Motel 6. Never have had such a bad experience with one before. That's why we chose to stay here in this one. Very bad decision. Mentioned it to the clerk at the desk at check out and he offered a cup of coffee which is complimentary anyways. Not very helpful.

Stay here if you only need to sleep. Cheap motel, pet friendly, and close to the freeway. Non-smoking rooms smell like smoke or of strong cleaning product to cover up the smoke.

A $47.99 stay turned into $70 after all the hidden fees! The $4.99 per device per night Cadillac Wi-Fi is horrible — no voice or video capabilities. Did I mention it's per device? Because they didn't when I checked in, but when I tried to sync up, I had to make another trip to the office. For this price I could've been staying at the place across the street with a pool, Jacuzzi, continental breakfast, and free Wi-Fi for multiple devices: all the things this ripoff motel doesn't have.

I don't recommend this hotel for anyone. Unless you were living on the streets before, this hotel would be disgusting to you. That worst case scenario hotel smell is exactly what it smelled like. The sheets had stains all over them, there was also burn holes in the sheets. I wouldn't wish this hotel upon anybody. Go to the red-roof inn if your looking to save some money, you won't leave feeling like you need a doctors visit. Just stay away.

These people are VERY nice to deal with. Very polite and helpful. Motel is good for the price.

Literally the most disgusting Hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The pictures are from over 5 years when it was renovated. I slept on a blanket I had in my car. There was personal lower body hair on the towels, burns in the pillows, blankets. STAINS on the mattress and pillows. I pulled bag the cover and took pictures of the bugs! I will add the real hotels pictures if I can. Stay away.
