Wonderful friendly staff, amazing pool, clean & fresh smelling rooms. I will book here every trip.

Loved the indoor pool atmosphere and I was surprised because it was heated. There is also a nice view of the mountains from the indoor pool when it’s a clear day. Outdoor pool was closed (out of season) There are plenty of places to eat around there and a Walmart very close. I got a room with a jetted bath. Decor (rooms) & coffee could be better. Most of the staff was really great and Phyllis at breakfast was amazing.

It’s okay could be better pop was warm from vending machine and and pool closes to early pool was very cold and had green and black stuff on side of pool and hot tub is down.

I came here for my birthday, and was disappointed to find when we checked in that the hot tub by the pool wasn't working and was caution taped off… the lady on the phone had the perfect opportunity to tell me this when I asked her if she had a room with a hot tub available (they didn't) I can tell you now my boyfriend wouldn't of paid 130$ for one night if the hot tub wasn't working. That was the ONLY reason we came! second of all, the rooms are not that great, & the coffee sucks… : (really can't believe they let a windham get so bad. The outside pool is disgusting. Good thing me and my boyfriend can have a good time any where we go but just will never come here again. VERY BAD … my grandparents always took me to windhams and they were always 5 star. This one sucks.

Everything was good except the hot tub has been closed for quite some time now.

We will NEVER stay here again! Travis at the front desk was incredibly rude. When I refused to put my 2 year old daughter down, (who was ON MY ARM and not touching the counter AT ALL) because she had a dirty diaper, he did not want to give me the paperwork to sign for the room. After I did not back down and after making incredibly out of line comments about my daughter,, he tossed the paperwork across the counter. Once I was done and after I clorox wiped the counter, he tossed the keys across to me. I then asked him where to park (which I personally watched him give VERY detailed instructions to 3 ppl in front of me including door codes) he pushed the map to me and pointed behind him without looking at me. Once we did check in, I took my older 2 to the pool where he proceeded to checking on us twice to make sure that my toddler was not in the pool (the sign clearly states no toddlers in pool) she was not, btw. Had I not booked thru a 3rd party and just driven 11 hours non stop with a 2 year old by myself, we would not have stayed. After reading the reviews from the past month, after reserving our room here, it sounds like the front desk is generally rude. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money here and KEEP DRIVING!

I rented a room so my son could swim for his birthday yesterday. $140 down the drain because we ended up leaving. When I checked in the guy told me I had to give my credit card for a $20 hold in case of damages. I give him the same card I booked and paid with. He tells me it was declined and says sorry but so you have another card? I said no I do not but I literally just used my card at Walmart 10 minutes ago. I overheard the lady beside me having the same problem while I was waiting. So I told him to run it again because it eventually worked for the other lady. He then loudly says “Sorry it’s DECLINED AGAIN”. You need to call your bank because I cannot rent you this room without it I will lose my job. Okay so I call Chase and of course they tell me the problem is not on my end. I go back inside and go to the other guy at the desk who was much nicer (Corey) and he runs my card and it goes through. I then see a sign that you can only swim for 2 hours may a time That’s nice to know now! We get into the room and there is a HORRID mildew/mold smell and the comforters have stains all over them. I immediately go back to the desk and tell them just to cancel our room. I get a call 15 minutes later telling me they can’t refund me because I booked through reservations. Com. That’s where their website led me to book! Do not let their fancy pictures fool you online!

Accept Locals again, I realize that there is a pandemic, and there is a drug usage in this area but to punish locals is not fair. Your tax dollars and business, and employees come from locals. I personally am disappointed in the reservation staff not informing me of this change despite my willingness to share that we use to live in this area, my old address & my new and the fact that my identification card was not updated yet due to other issues. My children were disappointed, plans were changed and we were coming to the area for medical reasons. I realize that there are dishonest people, there are selective individuals that you are advertising to but to completely ignore than arrive at the hotel only to be denied over a local address and the fact that the individuals card being used also was not with us which too was previously advised during reservation is absolutely the most unprofessional customer service by both reservation and front desk. Once upon a time I would of recommended this place, but not now.

Great local getaway for the family.

I was highly disappointed in my stay this time. I stayed here two weeks prior, and had a lovely stay. This time I was disappointed in many ways. Room was not particularly clean, I normally tip housekeeping but this time I did not feel the need to. Half a roll of toilet paper, could not find another roll. Key issues that occurred previous stay continued, as many people mention in reviews. And either staff is “not allowed” to let you in your room if near by, or the front desk person is the only one here so you must walk back to the front desk each time. (This is a VERY long walk from the suites). Also breakfast changed since my stay two weeks prior to a bagged breakfast. I understand COVID is here, but $144 for a standard room (suite the first stay at 141, but they were all booked for this weekend) with bagged breakfast seems like a lot. I mostly felt deceived that I booked a room with a full breakfast, and is still listed as such on your website. You hosted a little league group, and with 30-40 people in the outdoor pool, what was supposed to be an early night of rest was not possible between the kids literally chanting for hours at the pool, or running the halls screaming. The lack of masks on staff was also concerning. Your staff has often the first point of contact for out of state travelers, and should wear masks at all times.

The pools are great. Will definitely return.

Not the cleanest and there is a smell in our room.

My husband and I checked in a few hours ago. Whoever checked us in was extremely rude, whatever I can overlook that. After we got settled into our room, I went to take a shower, and to my surprise, there’s no hot water. Maybe a drop. I called the front desk to send someone down to fix it, I was told they would send someone down right away. Here we are 5 hours later AFTER I called (twice), and no one came. Literally took the coldest shower of my life. I don’t believe we’ll be back.

Wife and kids love the pool. Staff is always very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy. We've been here several times and plan to keep coming back every year when we're in town.

Rooms were very clean and smelled like it upon walking in the room. The whole building was really clean as a matter of fact. Beds were very comfortable. Service was great. Had adult pool time from 11pm-2am which was also very clean and had a very beautiful waterfall flowing into the pool. Would love to stay here again if we are ever back in town!

Great hotel! Front desk personnel Amanda and John were friendly and helpful. Indoor pool, shuttle service to local casino made our experience fun and memorable. Would definitely stay there again. :)

Gorgeous hotel that went above and beyond in almost every way they could. Felt safe here. Convenient location with a gas station and grocery nearby. Amazing free breakfast with hot eggs, Potatoes and bacon… Yum bacon.

What an incredible stay! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were immaculate with THE MOST comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. (Would love to know where I could purchase some just like them! ) Amenities were just as promised with several extra great things to promote local businesses. Breakfast was fabulous. Will definitely be back!

Clean rooms, friendly staff and quick check-in. Right off the highway and large signs so as not to miss. Rates were comparable to others with similar amenities. Breakfast was restocked multiple times and extra seating area was available. Pool was well maintained. Fitness area is two benches, a small dumbell set, treadmill and elliptical. Typical for a hotel, but it might get crowded quickly.

Probably the cleanest hotel I've been to in ages. The shower head, in particular & bathroom very well maintained. The attention to detail, really surprised me. Thank you! it's what customers like myself keep coming back for.

Had to get a motel suddenly when brakes went out on my truck when traveling cross country. One phone call and our reservations were made for the night. Very clean, comfortable, safe room, and had a good breakfast the next morning there to start on a better day.

This hotel was amazing, and lived up to all the good reviews we read. It’s conveniently located right off of Interstate 64. The area is beautiful! When we walked in, the room was so nice, that even our 5 year old noticed and said, “Wow! This is so clean and smells good! ”:) :) The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well! The staff was so attentive to all our needs, and never acted bothered when we needed something. The breakfast was great, much more than just your normal continental breakfast, and the coffee was so good that my husband and I each had 2 cups. The breakfast staff kept everything clean and replenished. As you can see, I could go on and on telling you about how great it was, but hopefully this is enough to make you want to stay there. If we go through that area again, we will definitely be spending the night there again.

Very clean rooms with outstanding amenities. Worked out in the gym and then relaxed by the outdoor pool to catch some rays. Indoor waterfall pool made for a relaxing evening. Full hot breakfast, and nice lounge were extra perks. Staff were so nice… felt like family not an inconvenience. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying that this is a great hotel for the price. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and I personally think the keypads on the doors are a genius idea. The breakfast was alright there was nothing really special about it. The pool and hot tub were nice. The only downside is how small the bathrooms are. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone, and we’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

We spent one night here for a little treat for the kids. Everyone loved the pool. The beds and linens were amazing! Nice breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that we didn't get to use the hot tub. The evening we arrived there was literally a family of five in the hot tub, including a baby & grandma! The next morning the hot tub was out of order because someone had shoved a towel into the skimmer. We hope to give ourselves another treat sometime and go back again.

My family of 11 stayed here for a week, and the staff and accommodations were exceptional. Every day was met with joy and kindness from all that works here. When we first arrived we asked to change rooms to the first floor, in adjoining rooms. Our request was met without hassle or frustration. The rooms were clean and cozy. During our stay, housekeeping staff was very helpful, and was patient with our needs. Every morning we were met smiles and great conversation! We have already recommended Wyndham Gardens to everyone we know who might visit.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff, the front desk staff, housekeeping and restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was when we were at the pool and "guests" wanted to come in but didn't know the code so their buddies let them in. The pool area got very loud after that. But overall, a great experience. We would definitely go back.

It is comfortable and the room clean.

Clean and comfortable. The pool/hot tub and fitness center area is beautiful; landscaped with a waterfall. Nice breakfast with really good coffee. Restaurant on premises.

Great hotel. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. I personally liked the key pads that are used to access the elevators and hallways considering there is a restaurant open to the public. It made me feel more secure knowing people couldn't just wonder the halls. Breakfast was good. But the best part is the staff. They are a wonderful group of people who are friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Would highly recommend.

Everyone was very warm and professional. Service with a smile! They were quick to fix any issue and went above and beyond expectations. The bed was firm and the pillows are comfortable. Room was cleaned often and house keeping provided plenty of clean linen. I am happy to see a can for recycling in the room. Breakfast was warm with plenty of options. The adult swim time which was nice and quiet and relaxing! We didn't go to the restaurant for dinner but the prices seem fair. (Would like to see some healthier options on the menu).

The employees were really nice. Everyone greeted you with a smile. Even when just passing by in the hallways. The room was really clean. The breakfast was good for hotel food. The shuttle to the casino was nice. The only complaints I have are that the TV was really small. My other is, I had to push my room door closed. Other than that it was great.

The Wyndham Garden Hotel in Cross Lanes, WV, is wonderful. The staff always go above and beyond and the food in the Garden Grille is great. Love the indoor pool and hot tub area. Will definite recommend this facility.

This place is not only inviting. It has indoor heated pool, as well as outdoor, jacuzzi, weight room. The rooms are very clean. The staff is out of their way friendly. They have hot breakfast. And there pub opens at 4pm. Great atmosphere! They also have a shuttle van that will pick you up for Marti Gra Casino. Really great experience.

The hotel was clean and modern and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub area was awesome and had great hours. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and great tasting food and the lounge and Garden Grille and bar with late night menu was an added bonus. It was definitely worth every penny and we will be returning in the near future.

Super clean. Very VERY nice for the price. Heated indoor pool was exceptional as well as hot tub. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Beds are comfortable and pillows are great too. T. V. Channels galore! The bathroom fan was a bit loud (automatically turns on when light is on) but that's the only downside. The food we ordered from the restaurant was great, a bit pricey. Had a great 3 days!

Was the best hotel experience I have had. The front desk was able to accommodate my early check in. The in door Pool and hot tube was a treat, my son loved it! They also had a restaurant and bar in the hotel as well.

Pretty sure this hotel has a nearly impossible to beat value. Definitely the best hotel I have stayed at for under $100/night. The breakfast was much better than the usual free hotel breakfast, normally I ignore the free breakfasts because they’re terrible, but I actually really liked this one. Bed’s were very comfortable, room was a good size, location was perfect. Pool/hot tub area was very nice, not over-powering chlorine like many hotels.

Rooms were clean and cozy. Front desk staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast how ever was a whole other thing. Food was cold and no matter what you do, its hard to put taste in powered eggs.

The staff was amazing, each and everyone had smiles and treated me with dignity and respect. The breakfast buffet was typical but a notch or two above average. The only negative is the location. If you get a room on the north side you hear road noise all night as interstate 64 is only a hundred feet or so away. If you can get a room on the south side, it's very quiet and enjoyable. Also, stay away from the ice makers.

We had an awesome time at this hotel. The pool is amazing and has extended "adult swim" hours for people 18+. The room was clean and very nice. The free breakfast in the morning was fresh and there were lots of options to choose from. Everyone was super friendly and the parking lot was nice and big. You have a beautiful view of mountains from the property. Downtown is only a short drive away. Pricing was awesome! We'd definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here twice and both hubby and I woke up not in pain. What are these beds. We want to get one just like these when we replace our mattresses? Food was good in resteraunt and breakfast in morning. Everyone was nice. My favorite place we have stayed so far.

This place was so great. After hour activities for adults is a plus! Indoor and outdoor pool… great service and good breakfast. Very clean rooms, bar, restaurant and lounge were also clean. Staff was absolutely friendly and professional! Wonderful inexpensive place to stay!

We stayed here last minute on our way home from vacation and we loved it! I don't normally write reviews, but was so pleased with our stay I wanted to share. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and sheets were so comfy. They also had two pools, both heated one indoor and one outdoor, a sauna, work out room, video gambling, and a hot tub. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

We actually live across the river and my daughters and myself come here for a girls get-away. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, breakfast is top-notch, indoor pool and hot tub phenomenal, I LOVE the out door pool, the bar is really nice also. The ONLY thing I wish were different is the out door pool deck closing. Security is to the highest alert so you have to enter a code to get in, thus not allowing any children in the area at night.

My husband and I were exhausted after a long drive and needed a place to stay. This was the only place with rooms available, and we ended up being very happy we stayed. The front desk person was very helpful in helping us check in and also had lots of knowledge on where to grab a quick bite to eat late at night, and information on what to do when we got to our vacation destination. Breakfast was just okay not great. Very pleased overall.

I walked in like 2 in the morning. The gentleman behind the desk was very professional… The lobby was awesome. We secured a room. Then my wife and my daughter which is a Marine getting ready to ship to Okinawa Japan went to the room. Walking in we was impressed. Got into the room. Even more impressed. The breakfast was amazing. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in the past year. All I can say is wow. This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Very nice. Just blew me away on how nice this place is and professional they are. Definitely will look for another in our future stays.

Room was clean but dated and looked old. In door Pool was the best thing about the place. 2nd night here and outside with the other guests at 11pm because of gas leak. No one has come and checked on any of the people to make sure everyone is ok or give any information. Overall this place sucks.

Nice. A little difficult navigating through construction. Right off the highway, so that was nice. Friendly staff. Nice bar. Nice rooms. Nothing flashy but completely satisfactory. Only complaint I could give is I stayed for 2 nights and the moment I arrived I went to the drink machines on my floor and both we out of everything. This what at 3pm in the afternoon. I told the front desk. Fortunately they have a small 24 hour shop. They told me then that they would let the GM know. While I was leaving I stopped by to grab a water for the trip back… again, both machines were still out. Not a huge deal but an inconvenience none the less.

Dirty rooms. Rude staff. Ants in the room. Tried to over charge. Decent breakfast.

The staff was very rude from the moment we stepped inside. The layout of the hotel was not convenient. We had to sign a noise waver and I have never had to do that at any hotel. I think I left my glasses and was told to call back tomorrow when the housekeeper was there… so I am assuming the do not have house keeping 24/7 just in case. But the pillows were nice. Will not be back.

Clean but loud road noise and people in hallway internet is very bad real bad basic cable no hbo or Showtime here folks rooms very small bathroom well maintained but tiny.

I give this rating because the last time I stayed here which was derby day they refused to allow us to pay with cash on check in but could pay with cash upon checkout. They told me if I paid with cash if would be over $500 when the total was $250 for two rooms! Also when I reserved the room they wouldn't allow me to pay over the phone.

The hotel is nice customer service is horrible managers are rude and almost impossible to get a hold of. They gave me a low rate when I arrived then charged me full price when I left. They admitted it was there mistake and still won't reimburse me 10 days and numerous phone calls later they still haven't done anything. Is it my Spanish last name idk but I dont see any other reason why this would not be taken care of.

My wife and the kids spend the night here and it was wonderful the stuff was very nice the pool was nice loved the hot tub has it own bar and the mixed drinks were very good I will be staying again.

Great showers close to everything even a Casino… Great Truck parking in the Empty lot next door. Wal-Mart right up the hill. Lots of different places to eat, plus a Bar and Grill in the hotel. As a truck driver I think I found the hotel for us in this area… Thanks Comfort Inn, for the great hotels around the USA.

Needed a code to use the elevator. Wasn't sure if I felt safer or more worried we were in a rough area? Beds we're comfy. Pillows choice of firm and soft, comfy. Was a bit amused at the placard about costs of linen if you take it. The floor was heaved in our room. Weird. Breakfast was ok. Blue berry waffles were excellent. 5 stars for having a coded elevator.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone stopping for the night that comes through the area! Staff was very friendly! Room was clean, neat, comfortable, and smelled nice. Some hotels have very "different" smells, this one was very nice! Breakfast was very good and tasty! I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! If I ever come through the area again, I will definitely come to this hotel again, even if I have to go out of my way.
