Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a quality inn, plus TV didn't work in our room but the did give us a 50% discount.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room.

This is not a 5 Star Hotel, but I did find it well worth the money. Nice location, not in a bad neighborhood, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff (Tek was very helpful). Breakfast was adequate, also. I will say, if you plan to use the Fitness Room, the Cardio equipment is DOA. You might make plans for a jog nearby on one of the awesome trails. The dumbbells and medicine balls are nice though, if you want to get in core or strength training.

I have no idea why the hotel has the same amount of stars as a Motel 6. This is a great place to stay, just off the freeway and a short distance to Portland. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The shower was nice. The staff were super helpful and friendly. At breakfast their were REAL scrambled eggs. This will be one of our new go to hotels when staying near Portland.

I felt the staff was nice and beds were comfortable. However we didnt have hot food one day and the housekeeper was working the breakfast. The second day we had hot breakfast but only one person working and clearly wasn't enough. They were constantly out of food, silverware and coffee. We came home late one day and found a note in the door saying there would not be maid services. We had no towels, garbage full and no coffee. I said something to front desk and they just said sorry and they had a rough weekend.

Needs a remodel for sure! one of the most expensive quality I have stayed in, needs to be nicer for the price. Pool is ok but you have to go down outside steep stairs to get to it or from the parking lot. NO hot tub! We were on the 3rd floor room 305. Floor smelt like weed and old musty smell. Walls needs to be washed badly, my bathroom archway was dirty with white stuff. Other than that the room did its job. I thought the bed was nice! I think I get what people were referring to the AC units not blowing out ice cold air, but it was cold enough for me. Would I stay here again, nope!

This is not a 5 star hotel, but it sure works for me. I've stayed here a dozen times in the last year or so. Always clean. Always friendly. Quiet. Excellent do your own breakfast. Lots of good food close by. The "Excellent" review I gave it some months ago is no longer true. The breakfast is not as good. The pillows I've had recently need replacing.

Good place to stay in Portland area. A little old looking and worn; rooms are a bit on the smallish side, but perfectly serviceable and very clean. People are friendly and helpful. Breakfast decent (eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, fresh made waffles, yogurts etc).

We had reservations and were to check in at 3pm. We arrived after an 8 hour drive with kids and a 4 month old. At the front desk at 3:02pm. We were told the room had not been cleaned yet and to come back at 4:30pm. We drove around with screaming and tired kids till 4:30m. Went inside and lady at front desk advised it would be about another 30 minutes. Absolutely pissed off by this time but we already paid for room online. Do not recommend this place!

I put my mother in law here and she loved it. My wife n kids would stay here and there over night as not seen each other for some time, when asked about price for extra adult n kids. I was asked first type of roim, I said twin queen. And the front desk said not to worry about it which was good. They have all the amenities could need. Only two very minor issues. 1. Plumbing was bit backed up. 2. Told could have a late check out but later on said needed room as booked out. Both these things are minor and I work for a hotel so I know these things are benign. Thamk you.

Location was very convenient. The room was clean. Matress was comfy and soft! Solid breakfast. Not a luxury hotel, but it does the job!

Nice hotel, very clean, very good hot breakfast. I can't say the same about personnel since room wasn't cleaned on the first day, I had to bring dirty towels down to the front desk, get rid of trash and do housekeeping myself. At checkout manager said will look into it and will call me back to grant some kind of credit but never did. Days later I called leaving a message but never a call back. Also, I requested a key to the gym, didn't work twice, for the third time I went to the front desk to request a key to the treadmill but clerk mocked saying I don't need to exercise due to all the trips to the front desk.

Decent rooms and decent rates, but the breakfast really lacks.

Easy location with helpful staff. Seems to be a popular choice always guests here.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, it was my first time there. The hotel is clean, very conveniently located less than 1/4th of a mile from I-5's exit 294, with plenty of parking, in a safe area, a pleasant Starbucks and a wide variety of fast food and other types of restaurants within walking distance. Reasonably priced, including hot breakfast, and friendly, courteous front desk and housekeeping service, they honored my request to be put in a top floor room (nice views, by the way). The reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is because, after my first night, I found out that the first room I was given unfortunately had bedbugs (see pics). I told the front desk manager the following day, and she was extremely nice and accommodating, and moved me to a larger room, still on the top floor, where I wasn't bitten. The only other (minor) complaint that I have is that the bed cover in the first room had shoe skid marks on it (see pics). Finally, I decided to call corporate (Choice Hotels) to make them aware of the bedbugs situation, and I got to talk to someone (after being put on hold for a very long time) who seemed to care, but who, at the end of my call, insisted annoyingly, in spite of me telling her that I had already spent a long time on the phone and that I had to go, that I needed to talk to someone else to apply for their credit card. NO!

I just got back from spending two nights up at this place. We got a cheap rate from booking online, and I sure am glad. There’s ants, everywhere. You have to walk down the hall to the trash can there to throw away everything if you don’t want them crawling all over your things. I hope you don’t want to take a shower, because the water pressure sucks. It took me 45 minutes to wash the shampoo out of my hair. Just in case that wasn’t enough, it also takes turns from freezing cold to burning hot every five seconds. It’ll even put to the temperature you put it for about a second before repeating that process. The breakfast was a good, basic selection. The staff was really friendly, and there’s an amazing bowling alley right down the road. They don’t really have a “fitness center” just three different machines and weights with a key you have to check out. Over all not thrilled, but not angry.

Great staff, room was alright for the price. Even though it is dog friendly (which was great) the only place to walk the dog was in a bunch of dirt which was not ideal. Would definitely recommend for a night stay.

Quick, clean and courteous, this location offers a pool, gym and breakfast buffet until 9am. We had enough individual towels in the room to use one at the pool and in the shower to each of the four of us, had the pool been open. My family looks forward to staying there every time we head to Portland!

On check in, dirty room, was not vacuumed, clipped toenails at bedside, bathroom floor dirty. Changed rooms, that room not vacuumed. Hall and lobby not vacuumed for my entire 7 day stay, dirt clumps and food on floor. No breakfast one morning, no one from front desk knew how to open the cans of sausage gravy or add water to the concentrated eggs, nor even plug in the toaster. Beds made one day, but trash never emptied. Message light was on the phone, but front desk clerk didnt know how to turn it off, so it stayed on for a week. Elevators filthy. Curtains in room torn and falling down. Rooms smelled bad! Like dog urine. No designated pet rooms. Dogs were allowed in any rooms. No hot water one morning. Often times, no one at the front desk. Overall rating — minus 5. Nothing Quality about this Inn.

I got it for a decent rate. Stayed one night… rooms were good. I would suggest this Inn to my friends.

Have always stayed here when in Portland for medical. Always friendly and courteous employees. Quiet atmosphere and great breakfast.

While this was a fairly economical hotel, there were a lot of needed improvements. First, the water temperature was set WAY too high, and both my friend and I got burned several times simply trying to adjust the sink water. Second, both of us have disabilities, and there were no designated handicap parking space near the door. In fact, the nearest spaces to the door were for electric cars! What exactly are the hotel managers trying to imply here? Not everyone is rich enough to afford an electric car, nor are we all white collar yuppies. It's almost like gold card parking in a casino anywhere. They cater to the "elite", and don't care about the rest of us. Thirdly, their speed bumps in the parking lot gave me whiplash and it totally ruined the hotel stay experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and the only reason I gave them two stars, is because the place was at least moderately clean. Not a good experience at all.

This is a cheap, centrally located national chain motel, with minimal services and amenities. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are old looking, and you shouldn't expect that staying here is a luxury. It's a decent place to rest before you go to do other stuff in the area.

Stayed here last night. The room was roomy and the beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The room was quiet and the staff was nice and helpful.

Was charged for an extra day due to the staffs misunderstanding of how long our stay was going to be. Their customer service was awful and wasn't understanding nor being mindful to our situation at all. When we asked for the manager we were told multiple excuses of why we couldn't talk to him/her. (I. E. Their on vacay or they don't work today) Our room was not cleaned during the length of our stay. Overall; customer service needs changes.

Location was good. Off the hwy but not too far tucked down away cozy. Room was a good size! Had king bed fridge, microwave. Ice machine down stairs was broken only other one was on 3rd floor and not real great… front desk at both check in and out were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok had a little of everything to eat. Chair in room was comfortable bed was comfortable also. Great place would stay again.

An extremely convenient place to stay while in the Portland OR area with easy access to the Interstate and local sites. The motel is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to the needs of their guests. We plan to stay here again when we return to the area.

Hotel was nice, but room layout was strange. Water pressure fluctuated greatly. Weird parking layout with stairs in the back making it hard to get luggage in and out of your car. Location is conveniently near the highway, but traffic can get heavy at times. They ran out of hot food at breakfast on my second day. They do have an outdoor pool which looked great but didn't get to use. Staff was friendly but not very good at answering tourist questions.

Hidden from road, so not easy to find. No problems with noise. Free breakfast is typical Continental style with few choices. Beds were very comfortable. Parking can be tight if you arrive late evening. Desk staff made two very good recommendations for dinner. Rooms are very average. No views worth mentioning.

The staff is ever so friendly​. It's clean and has a fenced in pool outside. HOWEVER, we had to reset the room keys more than once. A bit inconvenient because there's no house phones (courtesy phone) to reach the desk. They have a very nice Continental breakfast. I was surprised that the biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Fruit, yogurt, waffles and more. The ONE THING I hated most was that the room was booked for us. We arrived in town early in the morning and we're thinking we could check in around 11 or 12, but check in is at 3. The nice desk clerk, Orlando, gave me a key to the pool so I could wait if I wanted to.

Last minute check in for two nights and this place is pretty nice… Good customer service and breakfast was on point! :)
Would love to come back and stay here on our next weekend of tournament ball … I really recommend this stay to everyone.

It took a really long time to check in. We wanted to stay there because of the breakfast and the pool. We have a 4 year old and a 10 month old. We used the pack n play crib they had and while my daughter was sleeping the leg broke and she woke up screaming and crying. We figured we would just talk to the people in the morning and we put her in the bed with us. While I was getting stuff ready in the morning, we let her crawl around. She found a pill under the leg rest for the chair they had in the room. I was and am furious. The guy, Christopher, that was there said that he would leave a note for Cynthia along with the pill. No one called us. I wanted my money back, but he said that in the meantime, he could do 20%. By the following Tuesday, no one had called. I called and talked to the manager, Cynthia. She did not think it was a big deal and she also said that the note and pill were not left for her. She said "I think it's an awesome deal that I can give you 50%. " That is horrible. It is NOT an awesome deal that my daughter could have gotten hurt, seriously hurt twice from the lack of care of the staff. She said she could not give a full refund. None of got to eat the breakfast, shower, or use the pool as we had planned because we left before anything else could have happened. It is very irresponsible of the staff to allow the crib to be like that.

We haven't stayed here yet, but are in August. I am writing this review based solely off customer service. There was a kerfuffle with our reservation, and we were charged when we shouldn't have been (plus a little extra). I had to call twice. Let me tell you, the second time, I was kind of mad that I had to call back. The manager was supposed to call me back and never did. The reason I am giving them 5 stars is simply because of Christopher. He bent over backward to help me fix everything, and was able to refund the money we were charged. His customer service skills are top notch. I cannot wait to stay and see if everything else is as good.

Nice hotel next to the main highway. Rooms are big and spacious but the AC is old school and makes a lot of noise. Breakfast is average. The bus stop is right outside the hotel to take you to Portland city center.

Clean new updated rooms that are spacious and well laid out. The washroom and sink is in a nook that provides more isolation and allow sleeping area uninterrupted. Lights from washroom will not reach beds which is a huge bonus. Breakfast is amazing way above the average continental breakfast. Inn is located in Tigard of Portland with good rates. Allows pets but cleanliness is not an issue.

Stayed at the Quality Inn in Tigered, Oregon on July 2nd/3rd. I was very disappointed with a hotel that was 120 dollars for two beds. First, the flat screen TV was a 24 inch with about 14 channels and was hooked up with rca wires instead of a HDMI cable. Second, I came down at 7 a. M. To get my free breakfast and USA Today. Breakfast area wasn't being stocked very well due to one poor girl trying to keep up with holiday weekend crowd. I asked the front desk about the paper not being available and he replied that it must have not come in yet. I repeated the newspaper question about every 45 minutes to here the same answer until I left at noon. Third, the place wasn't as clean as you'd expect. Bathroom had specks of whatever all over. After my shower, drying off, my towel had a foot long hair (my friend and I both have hair cut shorter than a inch. ). I expect these things from a cheap motel not from a chain of established hotels.

Booked online then when they found out that I just got married they upgraded my room. Nice staff. Definitely would do again.

We recently stayed at the Quality Inn in Tigard for three nights. Checking in was easy and the staff was courteous. We were given a room on the 4th floor. Entering the room, there was a really strong odor (it turned out it was probably insecticide) and the room looked quite old and unmaintained. There were water stains on the roof and walls and the carpet was also stained. At least the beds looked fine and the linens clean. We set our things down to get some other luggage and when we got back there were ants on things. We spoke to the staff about the condition of our room and they offered to spray the room or allow us to change. Having arrived late, and needing to be up early, we decided to stick it out and make the change later. The next day we went to breakfast. The variety was fine — scrambled eggs, greasy sausages, cereal, and waffles. The juice was always watery, and the food not very appetizing. There was very little fruit and no yogurt. We've had these same things at other hotels, but enjoyed them much more because the quality was better. We had to rush to a wedding, so we decided to make the move when we got back. When we returned in the early evening, our room had not been cleaned. My wife went to the desk to ask to change rooms. This time, the person at the desk was simply rude and unaccommodating. We finally convinced them to give us another room. This one was better than the other — and it didn't smell. It did have ants.

Breakfast was pretty good; had the typical fare for a Quality Inn, but offerings were prepared and maintained better than my general experiences with other Quality Inns recently. Our room was clean, nicely made up, and had no objectionable smells. Actually a pretty nice room, but No refrigerator in my room! I was told by front desk staff that "some rooms have refrigerators; apparently yours doesn't. " For the cost of the room (in excess of $100 per night) I thought it should. Also no safety "grab bars" in tub/shower unit. One slip and fall guest injury would be too many! The room fell short of my expectations for those reasons. I gave it a 2; maybe it deserved a "3" for the positive aspects listed above, but since it was lacking a fridge "I didn't like it" so I give it a "2" rating in my opinion. It will not be my choice on next Portland trip.

Comforfable and simpler trip go V. A. Hospital when we have 5fo be there early (3+ hours from home). Good café across the street. Decent breakfast.

I loved the silence throughout the hallways and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, quite delicious. I definitely loved the room and it's cleanliness. I was in love with the big mirror over the sink and the full body mirror attached to the bathroom door. My only problem is I found a living centipede hiding under one of my towels on the bathroom floor. I'm guessing it came out of the drain or something I don't know, but it scared the hell out of me.

Very disappointed with our stay. Two days in a row we were woken up at 6 am to a screaming vacuum. I decided to get dressed and kindly ask the front desk to have them stop vacuuming. He told me "it has to get done. " Really? at 6am? Why not at 1pm when nobody is around! Also, our room looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in a few stays. I wonder why that doesn't need to be done but the lobby can't wait a few hours.

So the stay was some what pleasant. Beds was comfortable and good hospitality. How ever with in the first few hours we had a ant problem. They sprayed as we left and we came back the next morning more ants. It was unpleasant.

For the price it's hard to go wrong. Had a big shower and a decent shower head. Got enough TV channels to keep me occupied at night, and the bed was better than most cheap hotels. My only complaints were no mini fridge (so no leftovers for breakfast or cold beer on night #2) and they gave you wierd little half size pillows. They were about the size of a throw pillows but they got the job done. But considering the price I would probably stay here again if I needed to.

The updated hotel was quite nice, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the handicap room was way above expectations.

Once again I was in need of a place to stay over night while on the job. Came across this place and since it was basically a bed I was in search of gave it a shot. Honestly the bed was good, I had a double queen room as single kinga were taken. The room was actaully huge but the space was setup all wierd. There was a hall way to a sink that was empty then the bathroom to the right. Wasted space that made it feel larfe and empty. The heater in the room was from possibly early 80s and my room was kind of warm when I woke up but it was a fridge night. Luckily I did not have to true the air conditioner. Breakfast was decent, shower was nice and hot. Not bad for an overnight stay but not worth the 100 dollars for that stay.

I was invited with my mother to inspect a room and clear up a business matter. The manager was awful and shouted at her, harassing her throughout the hotel the elevator, lobby and parking lot. Very unprofessional!

The room was freshly renovated, so new it smelled like paint. The TV was smaller than my laptop screen, and after leaving on the heat for hours it was still cold. But… The bed was amazing, the breakfast was great, the bathroom was spotless and the bath felt awesome. At it's heart it's an old hotel, but I gotta give a little credit for trying hard.

The maid staff found a roach in the room that had been smoked off the premises she on turn called management to take photos of said offending product and charge our visa $200 dollars when we refuted the charges the manager called us liars because she could smell what was in front of her face not because anyone has ever smelled smoke.

This is the worst customer service I ever seen. I came to check in and the room wasn't clean than 2 people walked in after me and got service while I waited. I will never stay here again or recommend this place. Very disappointed with.
