No easy access to restaurant or other shopping. No elevator. Very basic, no frills. No microwave in room. Wish I would have stayed on the other side of the road, at least could have walked to Panera and 711. Free shuttle to airport.

The one thing I love about this hotel is when I arrive they remember me. They asked me about my past few weeks, how my day's been and how my fourth of July was. I still find it hard to pay $130 for what used to be and $8 Hotel, but there's not much Choice anymore about prices. Would I stay here again, yes I would. The rooms are clean they have a good heater/cooling system. The beds are acceptablly comfortable and the shower is nice and strong. What I don't like is the toilets they put in. They have this horrible lid that has about an inch lip that digs in your back when you're sitting on the toilet. It's very uncomfortable. Looks great when it's closed. Unfortunately we don't sit on it closed.

I've stayed here a handful of times and have never had a complaint. Expectations are relatively love going into it since it's a budget chain but I've always been happy with it. Based on the condition of our room this weekend (towels with holes in them, food in the bathtub, stained pillows, stained sheets in one of the beds, and just overall unclean) we will probably be choosing a different place to stay for future visits. Normally a solid 4/5 but after this past stay I definitely have to downgrade this property.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The room smelled like dirty feet and the free breakfast was pretty limited. But it's close to the airport and has free shuttle, so it was worth it for us for a short overnight.

The room was very clean and modern, with a nice soft bed. The staff was friendly and the airport shuttle was timely and efficient. There were several restaurants within 20 minutes of the motel.

The staff at night wasn't really helpful but was better in the morning. Outside the hotel is just 1 little bench so if you like to sit outside with morning coffee you'll be sitting on the curb like me. The room was ok.

Stayed here one night because it has a shuttle to the airport in the early AM and I had to catch a flight at 6:30am. I would stay again. Room was spacious, bed comfy and we caught the shuttle instead if having to get up at 3am to drive from Beaverton.

Nice beds. Clean rooms. Decent parking lot. Food and convenient stores somewhat close by.

I stayed here one night waiting for my early morning flight. It was comfortable enough. Staff was kind and attentive. I did hear a train in the distance but that might have just been my room. In the morning I heard airplanes from my room but I guess that's expected situated so close to the airport.

Handy location and nice, mostly clean room. Bed cover had nasty mystery stains, but bedding underneath was clean. Room smelled musty, and heater was really gross inside. Smell got worse when heat was on, but it was too cold not to use heater. Bathroom was clean and modern. Bed was decently comfortable for one person, but might not be for two. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing to write home about.

Not so good… sad to say. Only one room ADA all other room no wheel chair access very TIGHT get in bathroom. Room very sticky. Bought own febreez and disinfectant. Sad.

I have stayed here many times. The price is most reasonable. Looks newly redecorated, new owners? The room looked really cool, new furnishings. Sadly, the building is showing it's age in the rooms. BEST PART: You can park your car and leave it in the guarded Super 8 parking lot for a fee, if you're flying out of Portland. You leave your car and their free shuttle will take you back and forth to the airport. The shuttle driver was very friendly and polite. Night staff was very professional and available. Worst Part: Bath tub in room had a crack on the bottom. Looks like it was patched with caulking. There was only 1 bottle of shampoo and no conditioner. Bottom of tub was grey with wear. 3 girls needed more shampoo and conditioner. Could not find anyone in the morning. Very poorly staffed in the a. M. No one was at the desk when we checked out.

Nothing fancy… clean and fairly priced. Great play to park/shuttle to airport.

Usually nice and clean. Coffee machine was broke in the room. Bathroom needed a lot of work… plaster coming off the wall. Tub needed a good scrub.

First off, because nowhere does it say that even though you are paying with a credit card, that you have to have a $100 cash deposit. Not many people travel with cash. We arrived at 7:30 and the place was quite dead. From the outside it appears very nice. Then you "smell" your room. Ours smelled of human urine! Seriously. No joke! I travel with febreeze so I sprayed some because we couldn't find the desk clerk and we had been on the road 13 hours by this time. I tried to sleep, but apparently the only other guests were right above us and felt the need to alternate between fighting and sex all night. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep. Woke up to to find the free breakfast they advertised. Nope, nothing! It was at this point we decided that we needed to find another place for the next 2 nights of our stay. We go check out and try to get our deposit back. We had to wait for the clerk to go visibly inspect our room before they have it back. Very humiliating! We are more than middle aged proffesional people, having our room checked! We have traveled all over the country and stayed at other super 8 motels, never, not once did this happen. We left and found a much better place, for only $10 night more. FYI, the deposit we were told is required for every hotel anywhere near the airport. So beware if you stay there. We never will again.

If you like being harassed and racially profiled this is the perfect hotel for you to stay at. I checked in on December 6, 2017 and automatically the front desk was extremely rude had an attitude. It was a young Hispanic girl, her attitude was the least pleasant and it just made me really have a bitter taste in my mouth. Than around two AM I let my boyfriend into my room and the front desk then banged on my door at 2:00 AM like they were the police, racially harassed him ask him for his ID and told him that they were going to keep his ID until he was gone. And I find that very odd I have never in my whole entire life dealt with such rude hotel staff. The man working the 2 AM shift was a terrible staff member! He was the worst especially his rude attitude. He treated me like I was a criminal they put me right in front of the hotel right in front of them so they could spy on me at every second of the day. I felt uncomfortable, unwanted and I felt like my money was wasted. The staff especially the Hispanic female who works the front desk needs to learn how to have a little bit better customer service. Extremely rude and it through my holidays all the way off I will never stay here or any Super 8 ever again!

Service was good. Staff was very nice. Front desk even brought up extra pillows. The only thing I wish they had was elevators.

This was a great place to lay your head close to the airport. They picked me up and the front desk girls were really nice. The best part was the super continental breakfast! Everything from cereal to waffles. Everything you need to start journey! Great price! Nice clean room. And I'm a housekeeper!

Good location, they upgraded us to a better room for free. Fast service. Small but good breakfast.

Adequate hotel for the location. Comfortable night stay for an early morning flight. Only issue was that the shower faucet would not turn off. Don't know if it is a maintenance issue or a communication issue from the maids.

Great deal for the money. Even though the hotel looks older, the rooms have been updated and look pretty chic. A little hard to get to by foot from Cascades, so head up a stop and catch the free airport shuttle.

I wish you were able to give zero stars. go anywhere else. I am not happy about this. We booked our room after 4pm the day before, and an hour later found out we dont need a room. Tried to cancel. Will not allow us to cancel. Nicer hotels allow you to cancel your reservation with less than one days notice. I wish I originally chose a nicer hotel to stay at than this one.

So, we were on a tight budget and this place was at the right price. Pros — quick airport pick up, very friendly & helpful staff, clean room, refrigerator & microwave, comfortable bed. Cons — too soft pillows, no elevator, skimpy breakfast menu. Overall if you don't want to pay high hotel prices, this hotel is worth the money. The breakfast was the one place it really fell short, how much does it cost to provide a little protein? Some scrambled eggs, some bacon or sausage go along way to fill you for a busy day. There are two restaurants in walking distance…

Overall pretty nice. Staff very friendly. Room was nice. Bathroom a bit dated but pretty clean. A good room for the price.

This Super 8 let's you park your car in their lot, for a fee, when you travel via PDX (Portland, Oregon Airport) It's very simple. You park, go into the office and prepay for the length of your trip. Then you place a tag in your car and get on their shuttle, and they drop you curbside where you need to go. After you arrive from your trip, you call Super 8, and they pick you up (at the baggage claim area, regardless if you checked any bags), they drive you to their lot, and you give the driver the tag that was placed in the car (as well as a gratuity, which is not required, but is the custom). That's it! It's also very convenient, if you arrive late, you can get a room and rest or sleep, before you head back to your home.

Nice rooms, pillows could be fluffier, but that is my only complaint. Everything else is great.

Using Super 8 for their park and ride availability. It's very well organized and quick to access.

They were really awesome. Have nice view of planes taking off from airport. Had a shuttle to airport with a really nice driver. While at motel let my kids play hide and seek. Great breakfast bar too.

Meh it was okay… Edward the counter guy was not friendly at all. When we got to our room, the first thing I noticed was lack of natural light. It kinda like a dark gray prison cell. Also, the TV is dark as hell! It was on the lowest possible brightness! And I can't change it. Also the bedding is coarse, almost like sandpaper. I also don't like the fact that they have basement rooms, it's awkward. How hard is it to build floors? And the breakfast has no fresh fruit. Overall, not a great expirience. I would mot reccommend Super 8 if you're in the portland area.

I was going to get a room there last night but when I'm in the lobby I over here the people at the counter saying that they wanted that black b**** out she's stinking up our hotel after I heard that I left. It's 2015 racism is over it was a lady I couldn't believe it.

Horrible customer service they kick us out the room for burning incense. My dad is a judge there crazy they lied n said they called my room but didn't. I really had a feeling it was because I was black this super 8 seem really reasict I would never stay there again.

Worst customer service! Courtney is awful to work with and Edward can't work a phone or properly book or change a reservation. Beware! They will steal your money! They charged me for a room that I changed the reservation on in a timely manner. They forgot to cancel the old reservation so I got stuck paying for it! Good luck reaching the manager Maria Gonzales… she's NEVER there but sure will keep your money! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Attitude toward cleanliness was poor. We arrived at Super 8 after our reservation at Nordic Motel was canceled due to a mechanical problem in our room before we arrived. Nordic made the reservation for us and told us by phone what happened. It was late and we were in a rush to attend a concert so we kept the reservation. The room was nicely decorated at looked fine at first glance. When we pulled back the covers on the first bed we discovered black hairs short and curly as if the sheets had not been changed. The second bed had a fresh looking stain on the pillow case. The clerk did not act surprised when told of the discovery and said they were full and could not move us to another room. I asked for two sets of sheets and pillowcases. She brought sheets and pillowcases and asked if we wanted her to put them on. She put on the pillowcases and started to leave and I pulled the top and bottom sheet off the first bed to give her. She said she didn't think we wanted the bottom fitted sheet so she did not bring the fitted sheet. I indicated we indeed wanted clean sheets on the bottom and top. She returned with two wadded up bundles of sheet and explained they had been washed and just came out of the dryer and had not yet been folded and she left. The sheets did not appear to be warm to the touch and looked like they could have just been pulled off a bed and thrown in a pile.

I was looking for the 1/2 star. After driving 9 hours from out-of-state, my wife and I just wanted to check-in, shower, and head off to an important meeting, for which we had traveled. What could go wrong? Let's back-up. Several weeks prior, we had reserved a room for two nights, with our credit card. We established over the phone, on two occasions, that we expected to pay in cash, upon our arrival, and agreed with the hotel to use the card as a hold for our reservation. When we did arrive, tired, hungry, and anxiously awaiting that shower, we were greeted with an over-burdened, and less than happy front desk lady, who informed us that in fact, we could NOT pay in cash, period. Though I offered with my benjamin's in hand, she would not budge. Further, she informed us that we had already been charged for one night, and that it was two late to cancel, and move on. It was 5pm, on Friday — Memorial day weekend. Our only option? Well, in this case, we needed to drive across town, make a deposit a my banking branch, in traffic, and then return to the hotel, and allow them to charge the card for the full two nights, again, plus a $50 holding fee. So what should have been $180, was charged as something like $320. I asked for a manager. She wasn't there. Assistant manager? No. Phone call to one of them? No. The next morning, we spoke to the manager. They don't take cash in any shape or form. (I guess we were lied two when we had called the local (503) upon reservation.

Faults advertisement. Online they list a room for 66 bucks then jack the price up when you get there.

Fair pricing with breakfast in the am and coffee all day. Plus, Kayla at the front counter was gorgeous. Recommend to anyone if Kayla is working.

We experienced comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. This Super 8 is very convenient to the Portland airport as well as the two rental car companies. One complaint was that the continental breakfast did not include anything fresh. We missed the fruit.

Not worth 80 bucks a night! Very dated hotel, old and loud air conditioner, beds were horribly hard and the continental breakfast sucked — — this should be a 40 a night not 80.
