Awesome experience! My family and I stayed for a few days and the staff was amazing, everyone was so sweet and so helpful. The room was clean and very spacious with two bathrooms, two beds and a sofa. Beds were very comfortable.

Rude… Rude… RUDE… I understand the entire drug problem that the motel six sees with their traffic but guess what, that's not our issue as guess whether we are good or trouble. If we pay for a room and have an ID to do so, all else should be our business and we should be treated like paying customers whether you like how we are or look or what ever you may have qualms with. I sat and watched a young lady be turned into a criminal for absolutely no good reason, in fact it was a mistake on your part not even hers and she was sent out in the middle of the night by herself. Are you serious? It's a freaking Motel. It's not the Davenport. Also we should be able to have a friend or to come inside and visit without being harassed or Land Based each way that is just complete b*******. And if we have to put up the phone. Disrespect we should be able to have a late check-out if need be especially if we paid for a week for Christ's sake. You guys need to get a grip.

The facility was good. Rm 222 There was a clog in the toilet. There was a power plunger there so I fixed the issue myself. The matress really needs rotated.

Room reeked of stale smoke. Bathroom was filthy. Light and fan covers missing. No kleenex-just an empty hole in the counter where it might have been in the past. Bathroom tiles had been painted, so there were white flecks of paint all over. No shampoo or conditioner; just a bar of soap. Tiny threadbare towels.

Do not stay here! Our room door did not latch, and the chain lock was falling off the wall. There was a deadbolt, so we could still lock the room from inside, but there was no way to lock the room if you leave it to go eat or anything. Even besides that, this place is in dire need of a remodel. Beyond the dated furniture and worn fixtures, which I expect from a budget hotel/motel and can look past, the room was falling apart. There was a hole large enough for mice/rats/whatever to crawl up into the closet area, the trim around the bathroom door looked like it had been chewed on by dogs. The baseboards were missing, so there was a gap between the edge of the carpet and the wall, and even nails sticking out down there. The room stank of smoke and there were dozens of burn marks from cigarettes being put out on the window frame. Honestly, if we had been staying overnight in Spokane for any reason other than to take my daughter to a early morning surgery, I would have left and found literally any other place to stay. Oh, and the indoor pool was cloudy and didn't smell of chlorine at all.

The staff was great, but I was surprised by the lack of amenities (no blow dryer in the bathroom, no iron, no shampoo or conditioner). The room was clean, but there was nothing extra in the room, down to no tissues provided only toilet paper. They had a towel shortage and it was hard to get them to give you anything that wasn't already in your room, which as I said wasn't much to begin with. A little disappointing for the price we paid.

This is a great place to stay if you need to be central to River Front Park or any of the businesses on Division. The service and customer cae are excellent, the only problem that I experienced was the condition of the room I stayed in was far below normal. The bathroom looked like someone had gotten drunk and destroyed it and someone had come in and tried to fix it with caulking and paint. I asked about the damage and was told that many of the rooms were in the process of being updated and that half of the hotel was closed due to this construction and the property would be up to date and be fully reopened by the end of summer.

Stay at your own risk. Only the lady who appeared to be the owner was remotely competent. Every other person I saw appeared mentally ill or on drugs. The front desk could not follow what I was saying to them. The other guests looked like they were in the midst of a drug deal. I needed to check in and head off to a meeting, just wanted to pay for the room ahead of time and head off to the meeting. I didn't even want to go to my room. This was at 2:30pm, check in is 3, and they would not even let me pay and leave before 3pm. Scariest part was the sign posted on the inside of the door telling guests not to trust anyone claiming to be staff from the office, and to call and verify. The fact that they even need such a warning… and there were several more such warnings. I see it as a civic responsibility to inform others. It's worth it to pay more for safety. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Floor was slanting downhill. Uncomfortable mattress, flat deflated pillows. To the people giving this place 3 and 4 stars, how many stars is the probability of being robbed or assaulted worth to you? How about the cost of a trip to the emergency room or the body shop to repair a shattered window? Tell me how it's not that bad after you've paid off that bill. Honestly, I've got more…

The staff are friendly and ensure that the guests are as comfortable as possible here. The housekeepers did the best they could given the condition of the room. The rooms on the back of the motel are quiet. The fridge, microwave and TV worked well for us. We continue to stay here because the rooms are quiet, pretty clean, pet friendly and are priced slightly lower by comparison to other hotels in Spokane. Please, please, if possible, please upgrade the condition of the rooms. The exterior and interior doors, windows, walls, light switches, a/c units, tubs and drapes all need to be redone. The flooring in our room was not bad considering the rooms are pet friendly, however they probably should be laminate. I could see that some painting had been done in the room, however, it was a very (and I mean very) poor job (not prepped at all and paint slapped on). We have stayed here for the past six years or so when visiting Spokane from Nelson, BC and we would like to continue staying here, but, the rooms need upgrading. We are fine not having free breakfast, shampoo, hair dryer, laundry bags, in room coffee, even Wi-Fi, possibly, but the rooms need to be up to a higher standard of maintenance especially for the rate asked. Thanks for listening. The staff are good and this motel has potential, so we hope someone will work on this.

This place was much nicer a year ago. I wouldn't say it's dirty now, but it isn't clean either. The lack of hot water is a big problem. I am not a fancy hotel person but I do expect to be able to take a hot shower (I have muscle problems and NEED one every morning). The staff at the front desk isn't super nice but they aren't unfriendly either, and I'm sure they deal with their share of unsavory people. The towels had stains but seemed clean, but I definitely advise wearing socks since the carpet is gross. The price is pretty good and I don't expect a lot from such a place, but I don't know that I'll come back again unless they fix the hot water situation, which is inexcusable.

This motel yes has some issues, after that being said, the night gal is very sweet and pleasant. The pool was down for a few hours, but was up and running by early afternoon. The rules are a tiny bit extreme but where they are located is a good reason. No continental breakfast, coffee until 10am sucks as I do like a cup in the afternoon. The smell of Weed does linger through the hallways. They need to remodel as some areas do seriously need it and new linens like bedding and what not. For the price I can't complain and night receptionist was very kind and pleasant and did her best to accommodate our needs!

The absolutely most disgusting, bug infested place I have ever been to! Two sets of stained sheets, no bathroom trash for feminine product disposal or trash disposal. And none of the outlets worked but 1! Had to leave within 20 minutes. I would never bring anyone here. Do not stay at this hotel.

This motel was absolutely awful. The carpets were filthy, the entire bathtub floor was stained putrid yellow with rust stains and all the towels were threadbare and stained as well. The cloth shower curtain was filthy. The motel smelled like mildew. The smoke alarm was plugged into a wall plug with a big ugly cord going up the wall. We were on the third floor and the huge filthy window is a hazard to children as it is all of 2 feet off the ground and opens all the way, even though it has a sticker on it stating that it is permanently sealed. While using the hair dryer, I blew a fuse and had to wait 20 minutes for maintenance to restore power to my room. The following day I blew the same fuse twice using the hair dryer but I discovered that the fuse box was right outside my door in the hallway so I was able to reset it myself. Even though I tipped housekeeping $5 for the first night, we had to ask for toilet paper and our garbage wasn't emptied. Every time I came and went from the motel, the front desk and housekeeping staff were standing right outside the front door smoking.

We enjoyed our stay at your motel, the bed was so comfortable we had a very good night sleep. I would recommend your motel to family and friends. The next time we are in Spokane, we plan on staying with you again.

The staff was great very friendly. And there was clearly renovations and work being done. For the price it's not a bad place to stay. However the rooms could use some major updates. New blankets and sheets would go along way for this place.

Absolutely the crappiest motel I have ever stayed at! Woke up this morning to go take a shower, and put the water heat on full blast and it was ice cold! Gave it about a half hour to warm up, and if anything it felt like it had got colder. I could hardly handle washing JUST my hair because the cold water was giving me a headache so halfway through I gave up and washed my hair with the sink water and that was only slightly warmer! Not to mention the burn holes all over the room too. I've stayed at other Motel 6's before and none of them were this terrible. Definitely never coming back again.

For the most part my experience was okay, however the condition of the room left much to be desired. I understand you are painting but someone should remove the tape from the hallways and around the outlets when you rent a room. There were feathers stuck to the carpet and a strange odor. The beds were comfortable the bathroom was very clean. Wasn't real impressed with the Wi-Fi situation but we managed. I always lliked this hotel because of the pool — which was VERY VERY cold, is there anyway to warm it up?

After reading the reviews others have written? I'm curious if we evern stayed at the same motel! — Yes there is a list of rules that are given at check in. Including all adults must show ID. (Which is then written on a sign in sheet) and you must enter through the main door. As a mother who was traveling with children? This was a plus on the safety side for me! An added bonus was the big sign by the desk hanging below the camera that stated that they share all video feed with police when requested. This also shows me several things. 1) that management is aware of illegal activity and 2) they are trying to limit the ability to conduct those activities on the property. The clerk was matter of fact about the rules, but was not rude. -As far as the room goes it was clean. My daughter did note she found some hair on the tub. But nothing major to complain about. I did see like 1 burn hole in my comforter, but again? It's motel 6 not a luxury hotel. Overall for the price? I was more then satisfied & I will stay again if I find myself needing to stay in Spokane.

First and foremost, the woman attendant working the front desk named "Trish" one of the rudest, most disrespectful employees of any business that I've ever had to deal with, ever! Her customer service (extreme lack there-of) was deplorable. She needs to be fired immediately. The way I saw her treat other guests and the way she treated me was absolutely unacceptable and she should be fired for that kind of nasty behavior. Terrible as always. Holes in the bed linens, stains on the towels, not ever clean. Rude front desks attendants. Website says free Wi-Fi? Not anymore. Five dollars to use a service that is free almost everywhere else. Nice. Everyone that's walks in the front door must show their i. D. And check it in with the front, which is ridiculous. Strange strict rules for a cheap crappy motel. All around it's probably just what you would expect, being the cheapest motel in Spokane. But if your broke and need a one night stay somewhere cheap and relatively quiet and safe, this is your spot. Can't complain too much, I've definitely paid more for worse places. But if you are stuck up or not used to stuff like this, this is not the place for you.

We needed a room for our 3 kids and Us for the night so we pulled in at this location. My wife spent 20 minutes inside getting a list of rules we have never encounter at a Motel 6… anywhere. I should state that since we have a small dog Motel 6 is out go to spot, in any state. The counter Woman (Tisha) told my wife she didn't have a till, or access to a till and sent my wife off to find exact change because our room would be 89.00 flat… for a room with 3 queen beds and we would only be allowed to enter and leave through one exit location even though there were other functional exits being used by others at the time. Weird. My wife crossed the street to a Chevron and was asked by a dark guy in baggy close if she wanted to buy CRACK, which he produced as proof of product I guess. My wife turned around and came back to the car and we left. 4 miles away there is another Motel 6 that the Woman at the counter (Jenn) was astounded to hear what we experienced and then got us the room, hospitality, and safety we disired. We love Motel 6, but maybe the one in Downtown Spokane isn't family ready and has a shady employee problem. Head over to the 1508 Motel 6 where Jenn proved to Us that kids are welcome and cash is not a problem.

As a landlord, I needed to put my tenants up for a few nights while work was being done on their apartment. I made reservation online as 3rd party payer. I arranged for microwave/fridge. They arrived and no micro/fridge, plus the bathroom was not clean. We moved them to different room, and evidently it was OK, but when they took shower next morning, cold water. They were to stay 2 nights, but they checked out, and I had to find them another hotel. Personally, my experiences with Motel 6 have always been surprisingly pleasant, which is why I booked them there. This was disappointing and added stress to an already stressful situation.

Disgusting! Upon checking in we were told there is no smoking and walking down the hall smelled like weed and then we walked into our room that smelled like someone rubbed an ashtray everywhere. There were burn holes in everything. We stayed because it was 11pm and were exhausted from the drive. We only got this hotel because of the indoor pool for the kids and then we found at check in that it was out of order. We tried to take a shower the next morning and had to go down to the front desk because I thought it was broken you had pull so hard. Almost no water pressure. Broken curtain rod. Water won't stay warm let alone hot. Towels smelled like smoke. We came back from breakfast and it looked like someone had dumped their entire wardrobe in garbage bags in the lobby and were now hanging out there. Needless to say I will not be staying here again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else stay here either untill they do some major improvements. I did not have high expectations concidering the price. I will pay extra somewhere else to not have to be spray air freshener every 30 min and feel like I am going to catch something from the sheets.

If I could do negative 10 I would. Run down, smelled, everything is broken. First room wasn't vacuumed, holes from cigarette burns all over, but the huge kicker was the freaking needle cap left on the damn floor! REALLY REALLY. So I obviously I went back to lobby to get knew room and I will say, the girl I spoke with was very sweet and helpful, but the next room wasn't much better. This hotel is 100% a drug hotel. Would NOT recommend at all.

The hotel and hotel room smelled so poorly and had more than one quite obvious drug users hanging around the lobby that we didn't stay the night and instead just drove through the night to our destination. My expectations are really quite reasonable for a Motel 6. And not having a room that smelled very musty and like cat urine is not meeting those expectations. I can honestly say this was the worst hotel I have ever paid to not stay the night at.

First of all, we did not choose to remain a guest with you. The check in process was painful, the girl (who had only worked there for 3 days) had trouble signing us in because we were from Canada. She scanned our passports which I did not like. After 3 calls to her boss and about 35 minutes, we finally got our room key. The room was not ready, dirty, headboards laying on the beds, unmade beds, garbage in the room, at 4 pm. Went back to tell reception and she said would make it right. The people checking in behind us also came back down to say their room was not cleaned. We had a concert to go to, had to eat and did not have time to wait. Who knew how long it would take to get into our room?! We phoned around while waiting and found another place to stay. I went back to reception to say we were not intending to stay. She proceeded to cancel and refund my credit card. After yet another call to the boss, she "thinks it was cancelled". I was never rude to her as she was clearly getting very frustrated. There were no receipts or credits given to me. I will follow up to be sure there are no charges on my credit card. I had stayed here many times before, all with no issues. I will not be staying here again unless you can guarantee me the next experience would be a positive one.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. The rooms smelled like you don’t want to know. The blankets in our “SMOKE FREE ROOM” had meth pipe burn holes. (The lady said “They could be cigarette burns”. Sure thing lady) BUT if you look at it you can clearly tell it’s NOT cigarettes. The carpets were Dirty & Stained, made me straight GAG. The bathrooms were gross. Just straight NASTY. If you see this Motel 6 you should TURN & RUN the other way. I would NEVER recommend EVER.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel had obviously been under construction. Dust and over spray paint all over. Have been to way nicer "2star" hotels for the same price or even less…

I wish I could add the photos that I took of our room. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but there were more stains on the carpet than clean carpet! There was garbage in the containers that were not ours! I was excited to have a balcony, but the sliding door glass was full of hand prints. There were burn holes in the bedding in a Non Smoking Room. I had reserved a room for 2 more nights later in the week and quickly canceled!

The staff were wonderful but the room could have used with a vacuuming, the bathtub was dirty, there was no lighting in the room (the staff were very good about promptly providing us with two lamps), there was a dog barking in one of the rooms until the early hours of the morning, there was loud talking in the halls at 1 am and much laughter above us until 3:15 am when things finally became quiet. None of us slept. We were told after the fact that we could have called security. In addition, our hallway was under renovation and there was equipment cluttering the floor and the smell of some chemical or paint. I understand the need for renovation but perhaps that information should have been made available on the website so that perspective clients could be aware of what they were getting into. While the place was disappointing, the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

One word to describe this place — DUMP. Stained bed cover, stained carpet, hallway smelled terrible, and it looked like the bathroom was never cleaned. We made our reservation a month before arriving, and made it very clear to the person taking the reservation that we needed a ground floor due to my mother is handicapped, and has troubles with walking up stairs. So the day we were to arrive, we called the hotel to remind them that we needed a ground floor. Well, we arrived at the hotel around 8pm and was told our room was on the 3rd floor. We then said we had on our reservation for a ground floor, and called ahead to make sure to get a ground floor. They said sorry first come first served. The guy at the desk was a ruse jerk. So my handicapped elderly mother had to struggle to climb the stairs. I would have left, but motels were sold out around the area for some reason. If I could, I would give this DIVE a ZERO star rating. Don't stay here!

I was visiting town for a weekend conference and stayed at Motel 6 because of their reasonable rates for rooms. I arrived in town a little earlier then I had expected and the staff was wonderful about getting a room ready as soon as they could in the middle of a busy weekend. The room was clean and cool, a great escape from the heat of the days activities. On my second night the key cards would not open my door but the front desk staff was quick to the rescue and got them fixed for me. It was a pleasant stay and I would suggest this location to anyone looking to save money on hotel costs but still wanting to stay at a quality establishment.

While the lobby was very nice, the rooms were very much lacking. I could see the lower level was at least getting new paint, so maybe they were working on getting it nicer in the future. Not that it really matters, but the bed wasn't even made straight. I wouldn't even mention it except the rest wasn't any better. The bed was Too firm, the tub didn't drain properly, the toilet was constantly refilling the tank, even when you jiggled the handle, and there was visible rust in the bathroom. In the hall, several vending and ice machines were out, but not all, so maybe it was just a bad week. The night staff person was not very good, just told us our issues could be fixed in the morning. The day crew was Excellent. They helped us with our charging issue and were very knowledgeable of their job, even the cleaning people were great. We did not have high expectations, as Motel 6 has the well deserved reputation of being the worst of the decent hotels, but also the cheapest. My expectations were met pretty evenly, it's not the worst place to stay, we only needed it for sleep, as we were very busy with family, but even that was barely manageable. All in all what we expected, so no hard feelings.

Loud! hardly warm water. Neigh or have a barking dog. All night. Not worth the money I paid! never again.

My parents stayed here in October/November. Smelled like vomit, NO elevator, room services were shit! The window had no screen or lock and we were on the second floor. Talk about perfect for deaths.

Seems like this building needs to be checked out. I recommend that no one stays here until further notice.

Ask for a room off the parking lot, west side beautiful trees and open space. Otherwise its just a mediocre place to stay. Loads of amenities for the price, but poor service and opportunity to NOT meet the customers needs at every turn. No, the pool is closed. No, you can't use that door. No. Regarding the room charge they said I could not pay cash, but I could charge it on my card and pay cash the next morning. But then, when I tried to do that, they told me I could not use $100 bill to pay a $85 bill. That's $15 change. What's the freaking problem? Overall, it's got all the right elements for great value — but just poor management and execution.

Rude, rude, rude! The hotel is not too bad, however I prepaid through a 3rd party to stay for 1 night. At the front desk they asked for a credit card for incidentals, as they usually do. At check out I asked for a receipt and they told me I was good to go! I specifically asked if there were additional charges and they said no. A day later a charge for $57 appeared on my bank account. I called to let them know that I was charged twice for the room; the lady acknowledged the mistake and said I should have my money in 24H. Two days later, my money is still not in my account. I called again and I reached the rudest person ever who first put me on hold, then transferred me to a different extension! I will not stay at this joke of a hotel again.

This hotel is absolutely AWEFUL! Number one, this hotel should be electrically rewired, because I was electrocuted when trying to plug in my cell phone charger. There aren't any extra plugs to plug anything in. Secondly, when my family and I tried to get into our room for the first time, I was advised at the front desk that the key lock on the hotel door is broken. I told her all right, I will try to get it to open. At first I could not get the lock to work with my card, but then I got it to work after the 30th try. The next night when my family and I got back to the hotel room, the key door was not wanting to unlock at all. I have all of my things in the room, and the hallway is over 90 degrees. One of my family members went to the front desk to ask for the person working there to open the door, and she persistently told her that she refuses to help her until all the phones are done ringing, and all the customers are done walking through the front door. There was a man there before her so the lady employee helped him. In addition, there was a couple that WALKED OUT because the lady refused to help them open their door as well. My family member asked the lady employee to help her open our hotel room door because the rest of my family was waiting for almost an hour to get the door to work. The lady employee stubbornly told my family member that it is not her problem that the key lock won't work, even though she promised us that she would fix it that morning.
