The room was clean! The amenities were welcoming, including staff. If the bed had fit in my suitcase I would have taken it home!
I would like to visit again.

Near everything…not spacious but comfy and very clean. Great customer service!

Nice view and price due to covid.

This was the scariest night of our entire vacation. Somebody tried running us over at the parking garage entrance. There was no lighting and several street people all over and a tent city next door. There were syringes with needles on the street corner upon entry to the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice but the room was smaller than expected and both in and outside photos look nothing like the ones on the internet.
It is sickening to see this area of town be so disgusting. We used to travel to Seattle once every 3 years but after this stay, I don't plan on returning. The Oregon Coast was much nicer and relaxing with no fear of lingering street people or fear of car theft. Our car was broken into and nothing done about it. The police don't even respond. Not all of this is the fault of Belltown but definitely recommend having security and lighting and bellhops to help with luggage, especially for single women traveling alone.

Great service, rooms are excellent and the bed is comfy! Lovely area too!

Smokers beware!
I stayed at the belltown hotel may, 18th 2021. Looked at my bank statement and they charged me for my stay and a additional 275.00 for supposedly finding evidence of smoking in the room. Which in fact did not happen.
Also this hotel is in the worst part of town you literally cannot go out side without a bum asking you for something or getting offered to buy meth or other drugs. Don't conduct businesses with these people.

Really enjoyed the stay their. Rooms are very clean, staff very friendly. Our view of the locals was pretty entertaining 🤗 wish their was hotel parking.

Paid $30.00 for parking. Next day found a $60.00 ticket on window of truck. The parking pass was hung from rearview mirror. $90.00 for parking plus the cost of the room. Whoever patrols the parking lot for violators doesn't know their job. So I guess why hang the parking pass? Why pay for the parking pass? You get charged again anyway. Room was very noisy at just before 8am. Like someone ran a cart up and down the hallways over and over dragging it up against the walls.

Check out the transportation before booking. We waited 45 min for a cab. Room was cozy (small) but quite adequate and very clean. Good selection for meals within a few blocks. Lively and diverse neighborhood.

The location is perfect, the rooms were clean and roomy, and the staff was amazing — definitely will be my go to for future trips to Seattle.

It’s in walking distance to pretty much EVERYTHING. Also being a HUGE Dog LOVER I Love that’s it’s right across the doggie park.

No on site parking but who needs a car! we got the monorail from the airport to westlake and it was a 6 bloke walk down to belltown which took about 10-15 minutes.
we can see the top of the space needle from our hotel room, but you can go up to the roof top terrace for a better view of the city.

Our room was inward courtyard facing which made it nice and quiet. It's advertised as a convenient location, which it is. We walked to Seattle Center as well as Pike Place Market. What's nice if they have bicycles to borrow at no charge and even have helmets and locks. They also have umbrellas. Our room looks like it was recently renovated too. It is small but space was used pretty efficiently. Also included a safe.

Great place to stay in downtown Seattle. Definitely walkable to all the major sites and attractions. Other reviews are true there are quite a few homeless in the area but honestly it's not an issue and would not deter me from staying here again. Also they arrange a shuttle to the cruise port of that's what brings you in town. Overall the hotel is excellent for visitors from our of town.

Overpriced — I’d rather be at a holiday inn express and would have paid 1/2 as much. My coffee maker didn’t even work, I’d recommend investing in better shampoo/conditioner for the $400 price they charge. Rooms were small and a bit stinky and noisy. Clean but again over priced. Curtains aren’t enough to block out any bit of sun so get ready for an early wake up. Also the sliding window to the outside was nice, but not a “patio” as advertised. Staff was nice.

Totally dog friendly, they even have treats at the counter when you check in! Staff were all super nice and accommodating — standard 12pm check out but we extended to 1pm so we could have brunch nearby while our dog was comfy in the room. Amazing location, walkable to tons of bars and restaurants, close to a dog park!

Staff was great! Room was extremely small and didn't have space for our 4 pieces of luggage without it being in the way. Great location close to everything downtown. Rooftop deck was lovely. We would stay again.

Nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and had lots of recommendations for whatever food we were craving. It's a short walk to the market and the space Needle. They have a roof top that offers a view of the city and has lots of seating to just relax after a day of walking. I would definitely stay here again.

I go here for my staycations. I live in West Seattle, but from time to time, I enjoy being close to the night life of Seattle. Great area for food and entertainment. It is Belltown, so there is the riff riff, but I've never been harassed or bothered by them being there. It is a city. Anyway. This place is clean and feels like a home away from home.

For the season and the price, this hotel was extremely affordable and a great place to stay. Located downtown you're within walking distance of all the major 'tourist attractions' but you also have access to the many forms of public transportation around Seattle. The staff was friendly, personable, and accommodating. During our stay, my wife was pregnant and they were able to provide us with a TON of pillows to make her stay more comfortable. When we travel back to Seattle we will be staying at Belltown Inn.

I booked my stay here via Hotwire, and I really lucked out because this hotel was amazing. The location in downtown Seattle is perfect. They say you can walk anywhere and they're not kidding. The rooms had everything you could need including generous closet space and a kitchenette. We greatly appreciated the free bike rental, infused water in the lobby, and roof top deck. We didn't need them on our trip, but the rental umbrellas are a nice touch too. My only regret is that I didn't bring my pug with me, he would have lived the Belltown In and the awesome dog park next door. Thanks for a great stay!

I first want to start off my review that this was not a bad hotel. The staff was very nice and got back to me when I had questions fairly quickly. When we arrived at our hotel the room smelled wonderful, and was very presentable. The only thing we didn’t like was their so-called Kitchenette. A Kitchenette is described/defined as a small kitchen or an alcove containing cooking facilities. We didn’t have any forks, spoons, or knives. We didn’t have any pots, pans, or plates. We had an empty cabinet. We had two glass on the counter, but that was it. The only thing to cook on was an old hot plate that we had to ask for at the front desk. Other places that offer kitchenettes and other amenities that this place didn’t offer can be cheaper. The price was mostly based on the hotel's location because it was close to many of Seattle’s attractions. Overall if you are staying for a day this is not a bad place, but if you are staying more than a day and want to make your own meals you should choose someplace else.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Great location. The rooms feel really clean. They have tons of complimentary amenities, are dog friendly and there's a dog park right across the street. Plus, a cute rooftop patio.

This hotel was awesome, they texted us when our room was ready, they held our bags until our room was ready they were super helpful letting us know where to eat and where attractions were! The only downfall is parking was across the street and was not included in price of room $20 extra and was not safe (the car next to us had a broken window as we left the hotel other then that our trip was amazing!

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay but some of the staff weren’t always friendly—a few female staff members. The location was great and the neighborhood restaurants & bars were good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel due to the location, pricing, and comfortable rooms. Use the complimentary ear plugs — it gets a little noisy at night.

Hotel is very nice and affordable. The staff are friendly, and the location is very central (walking distance to many local attractions). The room was clean and we had a peek-a-boo view of the city. My only complaint is that the neighborhood is pretty sketchy at night. It is definitely an up and coming area. There are a ton of nice restaurants and bars, and lots of new construction, but there are also a lot of shady people. The two bus stops, along with the dog park, seem to attract large crowds of homeless people at night. Most of them are friendly and won't bother you, but there are some drunks/tweakers that might make you feel uneasy, especially if you are walking alone at night. Overall, we didn't have any issues and we really enjoyed our stay!

I was so happily surprised by how affordable the Belltown Inn was without sacrificing comfort, cleanliness, or the feeling of security. Friendly night staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Bathroom fixtures are new and stylish. And there wasn't too much noise to get a good night's sleep. Highly recommend this little gem.

First, this was our first trip there and I just want to say, we LOVE Seattle and this place helped with that experience! We were in town for a concert and this was the perfect spot to stay! It was VERY close to everything you would visit Seattle to see. (Although being from Louisiana, it was a bit too cold to walk some places, so Lyft was on it! ) The staff were super helpful and kind with a sense of humor. The room they upgraded us to at no charge, just because we asked, was just the right size, clean and very comfortable. Check in and out was super fast and easy. Will probably be our go-to when we visit again!

Awesome hotel in a great location. The room was listed as a "petite queen", but was plenty big enough. The room included a little kitchenette area with a microwave and a little fridge. Best thing was the complimentary snacks in the fridge and on the counter. The hotel is right across the street from a dog park and about a 1/2 mile from Pike's Place market. Very easy walking to everywhere and nice area. The hotel even provided complimentary earplugs which were needed as it is a busy downtown city area. Very nice staff and easy check in and check out process. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice rooms, nice building, cool neighborhood. We walked to Pike, to the aquarium, and all around the area from here. I saw a few reviews comment on noise, but we were on the second floor facing the street and dog park on Friday and Saturday nights… we left our quadruple-paned window open all night without using the supplied earplugs. So, we certainly felt there was no problem with the sound here. I’m sure we’ll stay here again next time we’re in town!

During our stay there was some minor construction going on which didn't present an issue at all. The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful and the location overall was great for a night out in the town. The room was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel overall is nice. The hotel staff are nice. The room was on the smaller side, but it was clean. There’s plenty of restaurants nearby too and that’s always nice for when you don’t have a car with you. There is a bit of noise from outside, but nothing too bad, it’s in the middle of the city after all so you can’t expect too much quiet. My biggest complaint is how thin the walls in the building are… you can hear everything. I could hear the person in the room next door to me turn their shower on and hear it the entire time it’s running and it was quite loud. I could hear doors opening and closing from down the hall all the time, and I happened to be placed right across from the cleaning room, so I heard this door open and close quite frequently and it isn’t quiet. If I was trying to nap I’d be annoyed. I could hear when the person in the room next to me did anything remotely loud. I could also hear the people walking around in the room above me, and could even hear them just talking. It wasn’t awful staying here, but I’d personally look elsewhere before booking here again.

Very central in location. We came to town for the Seahawks game Sunday and this is only 1.5 miles from the stadium. They offer parking in a parking garage across the street from the hotel ($20 a night) so that you don't have to keep feeding the parking meter, and your car is safe from being broken into. Plus there is an awesome roof with a view that's great at night. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

We have stayed here a few times, and never had a bad experience! Great staff, perfect location. Especially if you like to play pinball! Easy walk to anywhere downtown. Another perk is there is a dog park right across the street!

Cute little hotel. Really good service. A nice little roof top area to hang out in. Beds were very comfortable. This place had the most comfortable pillows I have ever come across. I did not want to get out of bed. Great location also. There was a little walk to the car park and it didn’t feel like he safest area but they always seemed to have security walking around outside during the night which made us feel safe.

Great price for a great hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The parking situation is a bit difficult at first as there is a bit of construction going on, but once I linked up with the hotel staff it was a breeze and they were very accommodating. Rooms are simple and elegant, with free snacks and beverages as a great little added bonus. The location can’t be beat as there are a plethora of wonderful restaurants and shops around the neighborhood. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience downtown Seattle!

The hotel is small, cozy, very comfortable bed, very clean, good service, location is convenient, right in the center of the city, but there are very big cons-because of the repair of the road barely Podehali, no parking, no breakfasts, noisy! And very weak internet!

Getting to this place was a nightmare, but that's because of the construction and pedestrians surrounding the place. Once I got into the lobby I was relieved to see it was such a nice place. The staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly. The room was nicely appointed and had the biggest towels I've ever seen in a hotel room. If I was to stay in this area again, I would absolutely return to this hotel.

This place is worth the money. I actually felt like I got more than I paid for. They let us use their bikes, shopping bags and check in at 9 am. They're amazing.

This is a lovely little hotel right in the middle of the city. Our room was described as small, with queen bed. It was spacious to us, having just gotten off a cruise ship. The staff went above and beyond to help us with some special requests. Wonderful people and great location. Highly recommended.

Stayed for six nights, and it was great. The first thing I saw in the room were the earplugs, which struck me as odd, but it only took me one night to realize just how loud the Belltown area can be. I loved the Cheez Its they gave me every day in my room, and I got a lot of use out of the mini fridge. My only complaint is that there was no curtain on the window, so it made it difficult to sleep past about 9am on my vacation, with the exception of the nights I got really high. The hotel is close to a convenient bus stop, and most things are walkable. Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area. Desk staff was great, and housekeeping was friendly. Oh yeah, check out the rooftop patio. Pretty good Space Needle view.

Cute, clean little hotel. The staff was friendly. We only stayed for one night and didn't call on them much but they were always present and available in the lobby. The location is GREAT! Rooftop hangout is a little underwhelming and small and doesn't give you a great view since it's a bit buried in the city. The room was clean and smelled nice! Only real down point was that the elevators were extremely slow!

I stayed at Belltown Inn for a wedding that was close by. Check in was super easy and there was no time restrictions on how late we could check in. The staff was nice and the room was clean. The beds are a bit stiff for my liking. It was a decent price considering we were downtown Seattle. It was perfect for what we needed.

Very reasonable rates vs downtown hotels. Good location, 10-15 minute walk to Pike Place Market or Space Needle, and right next to a bus stop. The front desk folks are super nice, they have free bikes to borrow and umbrellas. Some homeless in the area, but they are harmless. Rooms were clean, up to date, there are fridge, microwave and the Wi-Fi is free and fast. Snacks in the room are included. Computers and printer in lobby for printing those boarding passes. Coin-op laundry for long trips. Had two enjoyable stints there during our trip. Recommended.

Close to the waterfront and walking distance to all the other major attractions. Close to the light rail so we were able to avoid renting a car. Friendly staff, clean room, complimentary snacks and beverages!
We showed up at 10 a. M. And they helpfully checked our luggage so we could start enjoying our weekend.
We would certainly recommend the Belltown Inn as a great place to stay.

I have stayed here several times and felt it was in a good location with great staff and great extras (bikes and umbrellas). This time I was there for a photo shoot with a local anti-bullying campaign and the staff where great. We even rented a couple extra hours instead of another day in our room to finish getting ready and hold all our things. We will definitely be back!

The location is ideal being close to shopping, Pikes and many great local eateries. The parking is 20$ a night and is usually full being a shared lot, so you may not get a spot. I recommend not having a car if that is an option. My main issue is that when entering the hotel room the smell of Febreeze or some other air freshener is so strong it burned our nostrils and made our eyes water. We spent anytime in the room with headaches. I asked whether they used air freshener and was just told yes. With no option to change rooms since I assume all rooms have this issue. During our stay we did not get any turndown services and left our windows open in an effort to air out the offending smell. Many people have serious allergies and sensitivities to these types of air fresheners. I wish they'd have had somewhere that they use them to excess. Had I known, I wouldn't have booked with them.

I stayed here in June in 2016. The room was clean, and free Wi-Fi was prepared. Near the hotel, there was a viet nam restaurant and korean restaurant. I went to the viet nam restaurant and ate noodle soup, and enjoyed it.

Great location and staff was nice but… parking was horrible, renovated rooms were mediocre, the remaining hotel is under much needed renovation. Lastly the price was too high for what we received. Much better options in the area!

I'll leave the text from my last review since this is my second time staying here. Needless to say there will not be a 3rd. I showed up for my stay for 3 nights and they had decided to paint the entire hotel inside. We're not talking a small scent of paint, we're talking it smelled like you stuck your head inside a paint can and then sprayed vinegar on top of it. Simply breathing the air gave me an almost-instant headache. I told them I had to leave because I'm pregnant and can't be inhaling paint fumes. They seemed reasonable and gave me back my money but things got a bit worse when I called 10 different hotels and no one had any availability. To make matters worse, they knocked on my door and told me I had to get out since I wasn't staying. I told the guy very flatly that I'm trying to find another hotel but he didn't care and wanted me to go down to the lobby, where the fumes were worse, and figure it out from there. No hotel should subject their customers to smells like that. My mother gets migraines from this stuff and would have been sick for over a day after being in there for 2 minutes. Really frustrating that they didn't warn me and now I'm stuck staying way further away because it's almost impossible to find another hotel last-minute. Pros: low price, great location, staff are friendly Cons: rooms are small, bed wasn't super comfortable, there didn't seem to be a way to turn on AC.

I've stayed twice. The first time was really great. Can't complain. The second time I got a room in the side of the building facing the dog park. It was incredibly Lord with lots of street noise like buses and sirens and barking dogs. I know they probably can't do much about this. If you stay here… try and get a room on the side of the building facing away from 3rd ave.

Booked this place for a recent visit with my brother. The hotel was directly in between Pike's and the Space Needle which was convenient for walking. The location wasn't the best though because it is where a lot of the homeless people hangout (although they were friendly for the most part and not like the homeless people here in LA). The hotel did offer a lot of amenities including bike rental, umbrellas, and a rooftop deck to view the city. I'd stay here again in the future if available.

Affordable, clean and comfortable bed. Staff has been very friendly. Great area that's very walkable. Only negative is that I can hear footsteps overhead, but I think it's more there's an excessively lead footed person up there than anything else. Haven't heard surrounding neighbors at all.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean. It featured a kitchenette, which had a sink, mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks, which included two cans of coke products and a bottled water. The coffee basket was standard for a hotel but did included a complimentary bag of microwave popcorn. The bathroom was nice, good size tub and hot water anytime. Now, to those who are expecting a country quiet stay. Forget it, you're in a major metropolitan downtown location. There is no stop to the noise. You will encounter homeless people. If you have a problem with that stay in the suburbs or help with a shelter program. Parking is not great, but that is no fault of the hotel, refer to major metropolitan comment above. Will stay here every chance I get.

Overall worth it, I'd come back whenever I visit again. The place is small and it doesn't seem well maintained (Wi-Fi didn't work for the most part, elevator was soooooooooooo slow) but it's clean, cheap, and most importantly, it is within a very short walk to all the restaurants and bars.

We stayed at the Belltown Inn for 3 nights, and have enjoyed every night. The hotel is definitely in the 2 Star range, but for the price and location its doable. This is mostly a hotel you use to sleep at between rampant city excursions.

This will be my go to place every time I visit Seattle. The location was prime; very close to many bars, restaurants, and attractions such as the EMP museum and the Space Needle. The room was smaller but comfortable and clean. The room provided a microwave, coffee maker, with coffee, cream and sugar. The shower provided a powerful flow which is always a big plus for me. The bed was very comfortable and provided a good sleep. Room has free Wi-Fi, although not secured (no password required). Parking was available for a fee a block away. Nice touch was the free soda and bottled water in the fridge. I thought the previous occupant had left it behind but I read a few of the other reviews that mentioned the same thing. And the price was reasonable which is always important considering the location.

Great location! The room was relatively small and a bit stuffy sometimes but we really enjoyed the area we were in! Lots of nearby bars within walking distance for some relaxing late night drinks. And perfectly close to Pike Place and the Pier for easy walks.

Very pleased! Clean room — including clean windows! Rooms are nicely decorated. Walls are thin though and street noise is present. There are interior rooms that face the courtyard. They may be more quiet. There is a dog park across the street! It was nice to watch the doggies play since I miss my dogs when I travel! Excellent location. You can safely walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.

A sort of hidden gem. Affordable and in a great location. The rooms are basic but nice layout. The best part is the free bicycles you can check out! Very close to Pike Place market, the waterfront and of course, Belltown proper.

Room was clean, we booked on Hotel Tonight, rate was $87. Two days later we were charged an additional $50 and then another additional $23.30. When I seen this on my bank account I called the Belltown Inn, got put on hold, asked if they could call me back, never got a call back, I called again 4 hours later, talked to a different person, put on hold/5minutes, person came back said they could not find me, spelled my name, found me, put on hold again/5+minutes, person came back said there was a credit issued, I said when, they said 11:30am that morning (it's now 3pm), I asked what the charges were for, I was told they were charges, I asked again, was told again they were charges. So I said it all sounded a bit funny to me, no response. So I hung up. I will be checking my bank account the next few days to see if and when the credit will come in. Not sure I will stay there again, all though the room was clean, I do not have much trust in their business practices.

I give Belltown Inn four stars for value. I would definitely stay here again due to location and to save a few bucks compared to other downtown hotels. Pros: location is great, walkable to Space Needle, Pike Market, or Lake Union. Biscuit Bitch in the storefront on 3rd street is a great breakfast. Have to try the roof deck, but it sounds great — same thing for loaner bicycles, didn't ever need one but interesting amenity. Rebecca at the front was helpful when I needed to extend my stay. Bed and pillows were nice, and I saw a new Serta coming in so there is a plan for upgrading beds. Cons: can be a little noisy, especially with windows open due to no A/C. There are a lot of homeless people on Bell, but other reviewers exaggerated about the neighborhood. Prices can seem high, but so is Seattle in general… check Hotel Tonight or Stayful to cross-check pricing options.

AC was broken and the noise from the streets below and the other rooms quite audible. Still, great location (walk to space needle and Co. Or pike market in a few minutes) and not too expensive. No safe in the room and the one at the reception is only big enough for passports or phones, not laptops. Water pressure OK. USB outlets at bed side table, no need for adapters.

Pros: low price, great location, staff are friendly Cons: rooms are small, bed wasn't super comfortable, there didn't seem to be a way to turn on AC.

Wonderful customer service, and great location. Can easily walk to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and much more. Comfortable rooms and good accommodations including free bike rentals. Only downsides are no air conditioning and some outside noise so make sure to bring a fan or white noise machine, especially if you're staying here during warm weather. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very good. It offers a perfect balance without lacking any major requirement. First of all the location is good. Difficult to be better located. The Space Needle and Seattle Centre is 10 minutes walking. The Pike Place Market is 10 minutes walking as well, and the Link metro is 10 minutes walking, where you can find as well the commercial street and big malls. The receptionists are excellent. There are like two or three in every moment to address any requests. The hotel is very well equipped with free bikes, a free computer with printer available and free as well. They have umbrellas at your disposition as well. It has a good free Wi-Fi connection. The rooms have freezer (with free cokes and water inside), cafe machine, hair dryer, microwave and TV. The cafe and popcorns were free as well. Our experience here was the best. The price is very good I think.

Extremely quick and painless check in and check out procedures. Staff was really friendly and efficient. Really clean spacious comfortable rooms with free popcorn, soda and coffee. Location is close to the waterfront and other local markets. The only problem was the parking. I had to pay too park overnight at a pay parking lot, because the hotel had ran out of space. (understandable, just annoying).

Oautadated hitel haves nice TV no air conditioning they have a nice bussines center their computers need to be fixed up tried to work on two of the 3 an neither one of them worked typical east coast service I recommend not o take a corner room as it can be vary noisy.

I absolutely love this hotel! The staff is always friendly and super cool. The rooms are always clean. The hotel is a great price, even more you are within walking distance of downtown.

We stayed twice at Belltown Inn during September 2014. The first was an overnight stay Sept. 5th, 2014 on our way to a family wedding. The stay was very pleasant. It was hot in the room and I could see where summer months could make it rough even with the extra fans provided in the rooms. Staying again as the price and location is great! Weather is cooler, room is still warm, but much better. The room itself is samll, but adequate. Very clean and has a small kittenette area with wet sink counter, fridge and microwave. Very quaint for downtown Seattle.

Nothing special about the hotel. 3.5/5 overall because they let us check in at 10am. It was rather small and the bed wasn't as comfy as I expected it to be. You're basically paying for location. There is no free Wi-Fi, parking or breakfast.

Hey. It wasn't bad. Location is excellent. Room is pretty basic. No air conditioning which would suck in the summer but I got lucky with the weather. Didn't have hot water for one of my three showers but that stuff happens. Attentive service and reasonable prices.
