Hands down one of my favorite places. This history alone is amazing. And to learn this history of the gold rush and now heading to Alaska is just a cherry on the top. The entire staff was amazing. Ms. Evelyn, Ms. Jessica, Mr. Mohammed, Mr. Jay, Ms Jordan, Ma. Jordan, Mr. Mike (AWESOME Amaretto Sours). Mr. Phill, Mr. Sean. Just an amazing trip and stay all the way around. Attention to details! This has to be one of the most beautiful, romantic, classy hotels I've been too. So beautiful, it feels like you stepped back in time and yet still available every modern convenience! The staff has major class and room service was at least a 5 star. I'll for sure be back next year :)

One of the most charming hotels I've ever stayed at. Perfectly themed historic touches are everywhere — the color palette of the hotel is gorgeous; the bathrooms are spacious, with colorful tile and beautiful fixtures; the hotel bar is both lively and clubby, too; staff is superb; the in-room snacks and such that hotels are always hoping you'll buy are well chosen and reasonably priced; plus if you ever wanted to pretend you were some turn of the century imperialist, this is the place to cosplay it ;). Nothing at all against the overall Doubletree brand (I've stayed at many over the years and they are always good), but this is such a lovely and original hotel that it's surprising that it is a Doubletree and not some higher end Hilton managed property. Can hardly wait to visit again.

As a Hilton Honors member, I got upgraded to a very large room with a king sized bed. The hotel itself is a historic building so be ready for dark woods and dim lighting but the rooms and public areas are well maintained and the plumbing/tubs/shower have been updated. The hotel restaurant is nice enough but nothing special at hotel prices. The Biscuit Bitch on the corner provides a very good alternative though. Location is not bad, probably a 15 minute walk to Pike Street Market and 8 minute walk to Pioneer Square. Note that the homeless count has gone up in recent years.

Service was slow and food wasn't good. My halibut was overcooked and my rice tasted like plastic. Drinks were good though!

Beautiful architecture, and great ambiance. Much of the original building has been maintained and you feel as if you are in early 1900's. Rooms, while oddly shaped, are nice, clean and to the Hilton standard. The pictures of Arctic club members in the rooms are a tad creepy, but it adds to the ambiance. I had a rooftop view, and it'd be nice if maybe the Windows were frosted to avoid seeing pigeon droppings everywhere. Overall, solid hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting for a work conference in town. It’s not too far away from Pike street and we mainly walked every where downtown. The rooms were clean and well kept throughout our stay. The bar/lounge area downstairs has nice nice lighting and a mood to it. The receptionists and valet were very helpful and nice! I will come stay here when I visit Seattle again!

Excellent hotel, great service. Very nice rooms. Use to be a gentleman's club way back in the day. Have pictures of club members on the wall. Nicely restored/updated, great bar and nice cafe on the lower floor Old meeting room has domed glass ceiling, constantly being booked for weddings. Close to many other places to eat and shop. Lots of options for transportation close by.

Generally an interesting hotel, on the older side but has some character. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I only gave it two stars because they charged me for two nights even though I called to say that my flight was cancelled and would not be there for the first night. I won’t go back because of that, but it’s still kinda interesting hotel.

Beautiful place tucked in the heart of Seattle. I can not recommend highly enough. From all the staff to the service they provide it is a top notch experience!

Service at the Arctic Club was wonderful. Check-in was quick and front desk was very polite. They asked if they could text me throughout my stay to make sure I had no issues. I accepted and have received about one text a day to make sure I am still happy with my stay. The room was small but very nice and clean. There are several minibar items and snacks available for purchase in the room at the normally high prices for such fare. Room service has done a good job each day cleaning the room. My room had a king size bed with four pillows and there was an extra pillow and blanket in the closet.

Building is filled with history, and is a quaint hotel with alot of charm. The layout is a bit unusual, having a second floor entrance/lobby and a first floor keyed entrance and restaurant. But overall it works because of the historical theme. This place is quiet and not terribly crowded, and would be best for couples looking to add a little adventure to there Seattle stay. Enjoyed thoroughly.

This room is one of the most unique and opulent spaces that can be utilize to make an event special. The building about a century ago was a gentlemen's club and has been many things through the years. It's been a beautifully maintained and my experience with the catering sales manager was fantastic.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Our second stay and as usual, an exceptional and highly recommended place to stay! I have never seen a hotel as well maintained, much less one a hundred years old. The service and cookies and amenities and people are beyond all else I have experienced in an American hotel. The detailing in our room is extraordinarily ornate — 10” baseboards, 8” ceiling boards with crown molding on top — and not a nick or gouge anywhere. Being Seattle, they go all out on coffee with a quarter pound of Starbucks and a French press in every room. I have to contrast this with Hilton HAMPTON, which goes way out of their way to make their room coffee as unattractive and generic as possible! The same contrasts are evident in personal amenities which are made to be invisible in all BUT Hilton and Doubletree rooms. I could go on and on about the Klondike theme that is even extended to portraits and furnishings in your room, but suggest you see for yourself and be sure to stop here when your are in Seattle!

The Artic Club has a style that is authentic and unique, usually unseen in hotels with corporate values. I've stayed there several times and enjoy the unique room layouts. Generous and stylish. Changes are in place to support digital keys, which would help, since hauling bags up the steps on Cherry is not really fun. I am a fan of the Polar Bar.

The Ambiance of the north room was amazing! The lounge downstairs also had a great feel to it. However, the bartending staff was kind of inconsistent. One bartender didn't know if it was an open bar or not for the function we went to, and one never came back with the waters we ordered. Overall the rest of the staff was very nice and professional. It would be a nice place for a social function.

Great location in downtown Seattle, perfect walking distance to just about anything, and if you don’t want to walk Uber is usually only 5 or so minutes to anywhere. Jessica at the front desk was very welcoming upon arrival. Would stay here again, balcony rooms are nice!

Great staff, awesome historic property, attractively furnished in period theme. French press in room with Starbucks coffee was a big plus. Best in room coffee ever. Only negative was cheap tissues instead of real Kleenex. Excellent breakfast at Juno.

Beautiful rustic hotel with Hilton Honors touches. Walking distance to all of the best of Seattle's downtown. Make sure to check out the bar menu — same food as downstairs but with a nicer atmosphere, and open a little later. I had a shrimp and scallops salad that was out of this world.

Location is close to Pioneer Plaza. I understand the rooms are recently renovated and are very nice. Staff is great! Super friendly. Juno is good.

Amazing hotel! Classic early twentieth century hotel beautifully restored in 2008 with care. The Hotel has a large ballroom with classic styling. The main lobby is welcoming and warm with dark wood and leather accents. The staff are professional. When I arrived they knew that I like high floors and put me in a room on the top. Floor. I had a hot tub in my room which was a nice touch. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. I would stay here again definitely. I do not think there is a comparable classic old hotel in the city.

Conceirge was very friendly and responsive. The room was nice, if humid. I had to park in the parking structure next to the hotel. There was also no coffee maker that I could find… Overall a really nice stay. :)

We stayed at The Arctic Club since it was a block away from my company's Christmas party. It made for a wonderful weekend downtown. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The room was great, the hotel has a great atmosphere that you don't find in many places. The only draw back was a lackluster view from our room.

Ate at Juno. Food was decent. Service was great. Main issue I had, was that I had a large reservation in place for 6 or more weeks. The day before, I called to confirm and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called several other times to catch someone live and no one answered. I called the next morning before the reservation and still didn't get a response. They did have my reservation and everything went fine, but it created unnecessary stress around a holiday party reservation.

This place is terrific. It has an old and elegant atmosphere. Mike, the one who caters the bar is super nice and the lodging is quite comfortable.

The place to a 50s there very much like film The shining. It's a combination of cozy, and classy with a dash of possible ghost. Location is around business areas but walking 10 minutes will get you to many food places. The service is good. They can text to communicate, but I just go for phone call.

I always pass by the Arctic Club and I’ve never been inside to check it out. Last night was my first time at the Arctic Club and I went straight to the Polar Bar. I have to say the place is amazing. The bartender Mike and waitress Jean were so nice and always attending to me. There was a decent size crowd last night and I noticed they were the only two working that night. But I have to say, they made sure every customer was attended to and had a drink in their hands. The two ladies I was talking to at the bar even complimented them too. Jean even had time to give us a little tour of the hotel and gave a brief history about the hotel. Hats off to these two and I’ll definitely be coming back with my friends. I didn’t know there was a pool table too! Love this place and love the excellent service from Mike and Jean.

Such a cool hotel! The rooms have so many little touches and details that really make this place stand out from all the standard hotel fair. The views from the balcony are great and really put you in the hart of Seattle. The staff were welcoming, accommodating and went the extra mile to make you feel like they wanted you there. All this plus the historical aspect of the building and what the hotel has preserved of that make this place a no brainier. This is where I will stay when I am in Seattle.

Magnificent bar. Truly wonderful classic high end style. Big open space. Laid back lounge. Really nice pool table. All the charm of the Arctic Club.

Wow what a jewel of a hotel in downtown. This is not your typical chain property. It has an ambiance and charm. If you’re looking for a modern hotel this is not the place for you. If you appreciate unique rooms and facilities then go for it. The staff was all great from checkin to checkout and the Juno restaurant and bar was great. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were all super friendly and courteous. Very helpful. The room perfectly clean. Linens fresh. Room service was prompt and delicious. And the bathroom was very spacious. Also the location was very good. Will be my first choice for my next seattle stay.

I used to work in this building! I wonder if my office is now a guest room. This building is a neat looking building near the government center. It's also a short walk to historic Pioneer Square. The location is also probably one of the closest hotels to the sports stadiums. Juno restaurant on the ground floor used to be a savings and loan. It's now a solid hotel restaurant with typical hotel fare. Service is always decent even if the food is just okay.

The hotel and room was beautiful and morning staff were welcoming unfortunately it went downhill from there. $4.50 for a bottle of water is a bit much. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Would not recommend.

I stay here for work from time to time, and it's not the worst, but it's definitely not my preferred place to stay. When you arrive the doormen will gladly open the doors at the top of the stairs, but I've never seen them even attempt to assist someone with bringing their luggage up or down the stairs. The front desk is efficient and friendly. They'll usually call the room shortly after check in which I get, but kinda hate. The bed and pillows are nice, however they are topped with a blanket that is pretty much exactly what I used in the army. Scratchy, gross and I always remove it. The rooms are configured a bit odd and it's not great for working. The bathrooms are different based on where your room is and I found the lighting to be poor. The hairdryers are also abysmal. I have a pixie cut and my hair was still damp after 15 minutes. There is a small gym available that doesn't seem to get much use. The bar is overrated; the drinks are standard, the couches are great but nothing else to elevate the experience. Overall it's clean and moderately quiet. With a few tweaks I'd love it much more.

It has a very classic feel that you notice as soon as you walk in. I could not say enough good things about the staff, and not just the front desk. If you are staying in downtown Seattle, I highly encourage you to give this place a shot. In no way will you regret your stay.

Well, it's beautiful. Looks like born in 1920's. But that's it. Other than that it's too overpriced and, funny though, don't be surprised to find some tools from late 80's like cheapest I've ever seen calculator which didn't even work. Or the iron — it literally was getting broken apart in my hands. Seriously? Not that I'm a simple hater, but for 200 per night the quality might be much better, even in Seattle. The owner seems trying to simply survive selling a bottle of water for 3½ per piece as well as every single cookie in a room. But I can assure you, this makes way more disappointment to the customer than real profit to the hotel.

I am completely taken back by how beautiful this hotel is. It has a very classic feel that you notice as soon as you walk in. This hotel has a classic feel and located pretty centrally to lots of walkable attractions. The fixtures and ceiling height all take you back into the past in a neat way, but may be a little uncomfortable for some who don't like narrow, dark places. I thought it was very charming. Wear a nice suit and hat and take a trip to Seattle's past here. Very friendly staff!

Old fashioned rooms that are well-upkept. Easy walking distance to pretty much all of downtown, including the market. Not a lot of amenities. Stuffed walrus mascots in the ruins are $25 if you want to take one home!

My wife and I attended an wedding at the Artic Club. It was a beautiful venue with great service. The hotel has a rich history which is showcased throughout the hotel. The glass domed ceiling in the main room was a memoriable backdrop, and the adjecent space created a nice place for side activities or a place to retreat for a drink. This is a great venue for events.

The staff was great, the room was wonderful, and checking in and out was stress free. They even got us a towncar to the airport afterwards. The location was great for pioneer square, catching the ferry, and getting the monorail to the space needle et al.

Beautiful historic building, great location. Very attentive staff, comfortable bed, thoroughly enjoyed the time there. Spent some quality time on a red velvet couch next to the big fireplace in the lobby area, curled up with a good book.

Charming hotel with lots of original architectural and interior design features. Convenient to Seattle downtown attractions. Would definitely go out of my way to return to this specific hotel on a future trip. Only downside is the lack of an in room coffee maker.

Love the atmosphere. It feels like your in a forgotten era and that James Bond or Dick Tracy are about to walk through the front doors. The decor is warm and the staff is very friendly. If you prefer the contemporary hotel-style decorum this is not for you. If you want character and style you'll love it. Great location as well. You walk out and you're right in the thick of things.

Stayed here in August with my husband. Beautiful place, they have a nice and helping staff. Front desk made sure our stay was perfect in every way. They checked in on us everyday over the phone. Our room was lovely, it was a corner room big enough for two. I didn't want to leave. We were walking distance from all the main attractions including the ballpark. The hotel is directly across from the lightrail. The beds are so comfy, noise from the city didn't bother me, it's as noisy as any other city. Our stay was great and we plan on staying here when we visit again.
