The staff was certainly kind and accommodating which was a real plus. The room was clean but is in need of updating. I spent a bit of time at the pool and over half of the people using the pool weren't guests. The non-guests call into question the safety of the place. If for example a stranger hurt a guest there would be no likely way to find that person. Otherwise breakfast was good, could have used a protein (eggs, bacon, or sausage) but the waffle maker was spot on.

Nice place, clean rooms. Staff polite and helpful. Our room was very nice, good level of amenities. They offer a military discount here, and it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown Poulsbo. Complimentary waffle breakfast in the morning.

Wow wow wow! My family stayed here the first night of our vacation, and I was blown away by the cleanliness and service! Though typically wary of non-chain hotels, this hotel was absolutely wonderful! It was definitely one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in, the bedding was soft and plush, and the breakfast had so many cute touches. Also, when we arrived at 11pm, they still gave us fresh cookies for each of the eight people in our party. I would absolutely stay here again!

I'm just the delivery guy but the staff are always present and pleasant. The grounds are clean and the facilities including mini-gym, pool, and dining room are well maintained and in excellent shape.

It dated, it's seriously dated. They do have some nice rooms that they have redone, but for the most part it's dated. They do have an outdoor pool in the middle of the parking lot so that's what that is. It could be a lot better.

Extremely large rooms for the price you pay. We ended up getting a room with 2 queen beds and a huge bathroom for $70. I didn't need to interact with the staff very much, but they were nice enough to speak with. The cleanliness was a little less than it could have been, but was not disgusting by any means. Overall, as far as cheap places to sty goes, this was worth it for a night.

My family and I stayed here 5 nights. Great experience. Clean rooms, good variety for breakfast, soft sheets and beds. Free cookies delicious! Wish the prices were a little lower.

Nice clean hotel with a continental breakfast option. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal. Good hot tub after a long day was nice. I did not like the blinds that were in our room. Blinds Let in to much lite and I prefer more privacy then blinds can provide.

Clean, quaint. Check out time could stand to be pushed back until noon rather than 11. Good affordable place to stay!

Never actually stayed there. Only make deliveries. As hotels go the place seems pretty nice and clean. Plenty of staff on hand. All doors face the parking lot. That's pretty well it. Nice people. In guessing continental breakfast based on the dining area. Gym. Pool. Laundry. The usual.

Careful if you have a dog. We called, the designated pet rooms are 20.00 extra per pet. Fine we will pay that. They said they had a pet room available. We said we had an 85 lb service certified dog and they said no, only up to 45 pounds. Yes, I know I can play the disability card, have all the tickets, but only do that to people when there are zero options. We will try to book the Red Lion, also called Guest House next.

The ONLY reasonably priced hotel for many miles in any direction. Great staff. Waffles for breakfast. Clean rooms. Great location near several restaurants. Would've been 5 stars of the hot tub had been working. Fix it! Overall… highly recommended!

I delivered a pizza to a guest staying there, and the woman working at the front desk was very helpful getting me in contact with the customer.

Military discount was nice. Room was good size, TV was good but not very many channels. Bed was comfy like you'd expect. 1200 checkout time.

Gave us $20 off our room cuz we were on our honeymoon :) jetted tub was wonderful. Shower worked great. :) bed was super comfy and sheets were nice, Too.

While traveling alone I reserved a room with 2 queen beds at the Guesthouse Inn in Poulsbo, WA, for a Saturday night stay in July 2011. Around 1pm Saturday afternoon I got a call from the front desk of the Guesthouse Inn asking if I would switch to a 1 king room. I told him "no" as I wanted the 2Q room since I use the other bed as a platform to place all my cloths, books, papers, etc. He said that was fine and I would get the 2Q room. But when I arrived a few hours later the desk clerk (not the aforementioned person but someone else) had switched me to a 1K room, even though I had already paid for the 2Q room four months earlier and was promised by a desk clerk earlier that day I would get this room! When I asked why I was switched to a 1K room against my request she said that there was an "issue" with the room, but she didn't know what it was. Since the hotel was already booked up at this point I had no choice other than to take the 1K room as a result of this "bait and switch. " So beware that if you rent a room at the Guesthouse Inn and the management wants to make better use of your room for more people who want to check in, you will be moved to a smaller room without your permission — and without your knowledge. Also, the walls are thin and loud TV noise kept me awake much of the night.

This was just o. K. We stayed in a king suite with a jetted tub. The room smelled of mold and it was apparent they had a leak in the room above us in the past. The bed was ok but it was a bit on the soft side. Probably won't go back unless it were last minute and nothing else were available. Maybe they'll update one day.

I've stayed at this holiday inn many times when I go to clearwater casino. The service and price is always worth it. Don't believe the negative reviews.

Stayed here one night and it was ok. The location is convenient if you need to walk to grocery or dining. The breakfast is tasty but very unhealthy, so if you think you're gonna eat clean, go to the grocery store! The staff is very friendly, though and check-in was fast.

This place does not meet the expectations of Holiday Inn. The floors are uneven in the lobby. The hallway looks like a dormatory. Long, dark, no pictures and old dark carpet. Our room was very small. You almost had to step into the bath tub to close the door. The sink area hardly accomodates one person much less two. My elbows hit the walls on both sides when combing my hair. When the person in the next room uses the jet tub our room has a loud noise and the floor vibrates. The desk was at the foot of the bed and if someone sits at the desk the other person can not pass by. I spent 2 days crawling over the bed to get to the bathroom. The bed sits on a wooden frame. It you approach the bed your toes bang the bed frame. The only good thing was the standard Holiday Inn linens and pillows. Holiday Inn needs to remove their name from this place. Do not judge Holiday Inn by this one.
