This place once used to be a place I would highly recommend &; visited for special celebrations— however, that is no longer the case. During my recent visit, back in July 2019, it was one thing after another. Not only did the oven not work properly/turn on until my boyfriend (who worked apartment maintenance) lifted the top of the stovetop and fixed it. I also got injured during my stay because one of the chairs in the Hawaiian themed villas were not zip tied whereas the other one was zip tied and nicely secured. While playing video games with my family, the top portion of the chair shifted and I got pinned between the chair piece and narrow wall. My brother and boyfriend both ran to help me up because I couldn’t move… Not only did this end up injuring my back but it also ruined the rest of my vacation. Unfortunately, after spending close to a grand on this whole family vacation (including air BNB in Portland, flights from Las Vegas to PDX, and $204.53 on the Hawaiian themed villa for one night) we did NOT have the extra funds to relocate and we were NOT able to drive 4 hours from there back to Portland because it was late and I had to be bed bound and do ice/heat treatments on my back. I even included all this in the email I sent to the staff who runs these villas. I have never been so annoyed or disappointed especially with their response when I emailed them regarding my injury and experience during this specific stay. Speak of no sympathy or compassion!

I highly recommend Shore Birds Villas! My new husband and I stayed here on our recent honeymoon and so wish we could have stayed longer. Clean and fabulously decorated accommodations. We stayed in the Egyptian themed one and loved it. Just be aware that you have to climb a spiral staircase to get to the bedroom! An easy walk to shops and the beach. I love the gal who cleans the units! Paula is so kind, amazing to talk to and made the whole experience memorable in the best possible way. We hope to come back every year for our anniversary! ❤

Keep reservations that are booked nearly a year in advance. This is horrible customer service.

Myself and my family had an amazing time staying here. The location is close to everything in town but secluded and cozy enough for some romance, and family fun. Truly worth every penny.

Pretty close to great. We stayed in the Pirate themed room. The place in itself (decoration wise) was awesome. The location was nice, not on the beach, but it was secluded and quiet. The furniture however, needs much improvement. The couch and chair appear to be in need of new cushions. When I sat down, sank right to the bottom. The bed seemed like it only had the top portion of a memory foam on a board. It was hard (and I like a firm bed). Also the shower… be CAREFUL when stepping in, we slipped multiple times. Overall I would stay again if they improved the bed and furniture.

We stayed in the mid evil themed room. It was amazing. Definitely better than staying at one of the big hotels and way more fun.

Came for the weekend for a convention so the location was great. Closest place to the convention center you can get, literally could throw a rock and hit it. Villa was nice, clean and cozy. We stayed in the pirate one. The themes are cool. We wanted the Egyptian 2 bedroom but they fill up quick so I would recommend booking early. And find the owners number or email directly. I found out the travel website added a fee on the price when the extra nights we booked directly with the owner were MUCH cheaper. This is no fault of the owners of course. I would highly recommend you stay here if you have a few people and want privacy that a hotel room can't give you ;)

We stayed in the egyptian theme room. The beds were super uncomfortable but that isnt going to stop me from giving the place a 5! We had a great time and the room was perfect!

Such a beautiful place, we stayed in the pirate themed villa and our daughter absolutely loved it. Super close to everything and very quiet and clean. We will definatly be back!

We had a great time… We enjoyed the Egyptian Theme can't wait to go again.

Very cute charming place to stay. All the comforts of home. And with in walking distance from all the shops, dinners and activities.
