I would NOT stay here during Covid, they are ignoring the safety of customers. We had a reservation, my daughter came down with the flu, 102.3 temperature, throwing up, diarrhea, extremely tired. The reservation was for my sons birthday. I called to see about rearranging or canceling. The gentleman I spoke to said I could with no charge because I was within the window, so I did. A few days later I ended up getting charged anyways. Long story short, spoke with the manager. He told me that I couldn't have my money back, that I needed proof from a hospital that she is sick, they had been lied to before. I asked if I had shown up with her sick if I would of been able to check in and the manager Mitchell yelled in my ear NO! and hung up on me. Sure makes you question if any safety is being followed there. I will never go there due to the rudeness but definitely not now because we were waiting to see if my daughter has Covid and were not going for safety for others.

Best Western Mt. Hood Inn supports animal cruelty by NOT sourcing cage-free eggs. All Best Western Hotels & Resorts have repeatedly refused to help these chickens who are crammed into crowded, filthy cages, so packed they can't even spread their wings. Other Hotels like Marriott Hotels and Hilton Hotels & Resorts have already made the commitment to go cage-free. Why is BW lagging behind? www. BestWesternCruelty. Com.

Breakfast selections were typical hotel fare. However, the quality was excellent. Check-in staff was very personable and helpful. Room was large with comfortable beds. Had small refrigerator and microwave. Wi-Fi worked well for streaming.

We ended up here because it was cold outside camping and didn't want to spend another night in the cold. It was conveniently located to many nearby attractions around mount hood (timberline lodge, trillium lake and many ski bowls although this was summer). It had very comfortable beds (albeit a bit high to get up into them) and the room was clean. There was a side view of mount hood from our window. The breakfast had alot of choices and was reasonably good. There was a mess-up with our check-in but the staff was good and quick about fixing it. Very friendly. The only downside is the very slow, tiny elevator they had (we had alot camping equipment). Also, the decor is in need of some upgrading (looked like something out of the early 80's)

We arrived here after being on the trail for five days. The staff was very friendly and efficient getting our check in completed. We even had a slight issue with the rate that was resolved to our satisfaction. Room and bed were great. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Breakfast staff were constantly resupplying the food. Housekeeping staff went out of their way to get us additional toiletries when we needed them. A very good choice to stay for one or several nights.

Our family stayed on a visit to My Hood. Location is convenient to the government village with food and entertainment. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, also pleasant staff and good breakfast so it's easy to recommend this hotel.

We were running behind and weren't able to make our hotel reservation. I called around and this was the only place to have a vacancy that wasn't over $200. Very nice gentleman at the front desk, comfortable and beautiful room, terrific hot breakfast the next morning. This was just an all around great stay.

The location is great! The staff was accommodating even when we rolled in at 2 AM with no reservation. The price was also competitive (summer). The room was about what you'd expect at this level. There was a refrigerator and microwave.

I cannot wait to come back for a longer stay; but if you are even just driving down the road, it's worth the trip up the mountain.

The hotel is at a great location in Govt. Camp where it's a short drive to various trails and ski lifts. The hotel is kept up well, rooms are spacious, and complementary breakfast is a plus.

It's very nice, they serve breakfast as well. It's great for staying at if you wish to hike around the mountain.

Clean, great food, wonderful place to relax an unwind… I'd recommended this place to everyone.

Had a nice stay here. It was close to food and just a 2 minute drive to skibowl. Staff was very friendly and the even have a continental breakfast with lactose free milk.

I hadn't been to the government Camp best Western for a number of years but it seemed just as fresh and new as I remember it! The staff was great and we got there about midnight and they were totally engaging. The breakfast was fantastic and worth going for on it's own. Great experience, thank you to all involved. Perry.

A very welcoming place to stay with a great front desk staff (Mike D and James). It had a cozy feel in the morning and such a warm relaxed feel at night with chairs and great music by the fire. This hotel was an amazing find and totally allowed us to have a great ski adventure! We created memories we will cherish for a long time.

The breakfast has been getting quite a bit worse since we started coming here we've been coming for about 7 weeks. The rooms are nice but the real reason I have enjoyed my stay every time is because of one guy his name is Mike he is on the night shift he made my stay fun and the best hotel experience I've ever had. He is the best.

Great customer service and nice decor. Breakfast options are also better than most chain hotels. Wasnt a planned stay due to snow but will definitely be back if I ever want to visit Mt. Hood for recreation.

Doing the pre check in means nothing. After planning our trip according to the pre check in we had a rude young man tell us we can't check in for another 3 hours. He didn't even look at the computer to do so. It would've been fine had he handled it better, like telling us why or just acting like he gave a damn. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone wanting some decent service. Youth these days… Edit: Doing the review as our trip goes along. We've experienced better people at the front desk but it is still a 50/50 split. The breakfast isn't restocked and often times is out of big things like juice, hash browns, eggs and condiments. The room is nice and the bed is quite comfortable however. The cleaning staff has also been very nice when we've seen them around.

Warm, comfy fire, hot coffee, quiet rooms, well maintained but the breakfast was nasty as with most Best Western's lately. Powdered potatoes, eggs and automated leather pancakes soggy bacon and weird ground up sausage fake links. Our group found other places for breakfast. The rest of the motel was great.

I stay at rhis hotel each time I go snowboarding at Mt. Hood. The location is convenient to Meadows and Timberline resorts. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The entry way is odd with two small doors on each side blocked by the giant columns, instead of the usual middle two doors. The rooms are clean but the bed sheets and towels are rough. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We had a great time here! The food at the place right across the way is amazing! The complimentary breakfast the hotel offers is the best that I've ever had!

Fantastic place! The very minute you go into the lobby, you feel welcomed. The staff are not only accommodating, they are friendly and warm. The accommodations are clean and beds offer a night of deep slumber. The breakfast is spectacular with a pancake machine, doesn't get any better than that. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Love the continental breakfast. Also, we accidentally left a carry-on bag in the lobby and they held it securely for us overnight until we could make it back the next day to get it. Helpful, friendly staff. I look forward to staying at Mt. Inn again!

Currently staying at the Best Western here for a few days and I've been here for a few hours and I'm ready to leave my beach house in Newport and live here! Staff is very friendly and I love that there's a parking garage to keep your vehicle out of the elements. Room was nice and toasty when I arrived and the remodel of the hotel is great! This is my new go to mountain vacation place to stay!

Room was very clean and crisp. Very comphy bed and pillows. Overall a very pleasant stay… would recommend anyone anytime to stay here. Staffs were very nice.

Very quiet and room was very nice. Bed was vert comfortable and the customer service was awesome. Zoe was very helpful and informative.

I had read a few negative comments about the remodeling but that was not an issue for me! Great staff, great room, comfy bed, beautiful view and a goodie bag too! Great stay!

4-stars because I enjoyed my stay when it wasn't under construction. 1 star off for the owner's attitude in responding to complaints about the construction. If you're going to compare yourself to some hotel by the interstate, do a full comparison. You have the advantage of location. They have the advantage of not waking their guests with construction on a Saturday morning. Prices should reflect both, not just one factor and you shouldn't talk down to people for pointing out the obvious. Can you pretty much do and charge whatever you want because there are few other options for people? Sure. Does that make you worthy of criticism? Absolutely.

Best Western Mt. Hood was great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! I forgot a makeup bag when checking out, and they were very quick to call me and shipped it out the same day.

Due to current construction the rooms are without air conditioning. The temperature got to be around 85 degrees during the early evening. The pricing has not been discounted in accordance with the inconvenience. Three stars because of the exceptional staff in the lobby.

Very reasonable, quiet place to stay. Even though being remodeled, this motel was a comfortable stay. It's very conveniently located for hiking and has a lovely brewpub right next door (we loved their darker beers! ). Bedding and linens were excellent and our room was immaculate. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and a great location just a short walk from the government camp downtown. The free breakfast was also quite good, and the spa after a long hike was appreciated! One thing to note: the rooms do not have A/C. We visited in the spring so it didn't matter, but I didn't realize it when I booked the hotel.

This is simply the best hotel in Mt. Hood or that I have ever stayed. Fabulous staff who were attentive and proud of their surroundings and town. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. All day hot drinks, juices and fresh fruit in the lobby. Beautiful fire place and lobby. Easy parking. A must stay.

Poor customer service! We asked why we only got 5 channels and they said because of the snow, well that was a lie! They don't pay for nothing but local channels! Food is horrible! When you pay for a room on the weekend they retail you to the point ripping you off! When you stay at a hotel the nights you pay for are the same amount, not here. It is almost 100 more on Saturday! Never again!
