The room was spotless and I love the retro vibe of your décor! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool was clean. We passed by the housekeepers a few different times and they all smiled and said hello, which was really neat. I haven't stayed in a Motel 6 in about 15 years-chose yours because of the price and the pool — but I definitely will the next time I travel. I was really impressed. Thank you!

Came down to stay at motel 6 for blue Jays game. Staff at front desk were friendly, welcoming and funny. Room was good, basic set up. Would have liked to have a coffee machine in the room, but there wasn't one and had to go down to front desk area to get one. No shampoo or anything but we brought ours so that was ok. Overall room was clean and tidy. No complaints! Would definitely stay here again next year!

I lost my shoes and they found and returned them. Employees were very nice, willing to help, and friendly. There is a room with microwave, ice machine, washers, dryers and a vending machine so you can use it so that was good. I think it definitely worth the money. I seen cheaper offers with them BUT mine was last minute so I still think was a good.

The girl at the front desk was very rude. She gave me and my husband a smoking room and when we went to ask her for a smoke-free room, she mentioned that “you should’ve said you didn’t want a smoking room” even though no one before us said anything. She gave us a room but when the key didn’t work, she spoke to me as if I was a child. I told her the key didn’t work and she asked me if I used the key the right way. After I assured her that it didn’t work, she walked to the room upset. The room itself was nice but I think customer service ought to be a better experience for everyone and anyone. Also the smoking room had cigarette burns in the comforter on top of the bed.

I haven't had such a bad experience at a hotel in a long time. I remember when Motel 6 used to be a reliable place to be treated decently, get a competitive price, and get good accommodations all at the same time. Now, the marketing plan includes just doing less any time they can. They don't care about customer service at all anymore. People at the front desk were SO RUDE like we were criminals checking into prison. When I asked to speak to a manager or to get a number for guest relations, they were even more rude and gave me a FAKE number to call for complaints. I won't be doing Motel 6 again. There are too many other choices to put up with that mess.

This place is solid low cost hotel. Things were but not spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. They let pets stay to which is awesome. Overall I would recommend a stay here. Only negative was a lack of elevator.

It is a good place to relax from the stress of the whole week you can go to the pool with the family.

Location was nice and close to the high way entrance/exit. It was clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful and polite. They allowed a last minute switch in accommodations which was very helpful. Problems were no breakfast, not enough blankets, and no free Wi-Fi. Decent stay for a decent price.

For what you get, where you are at for how much you pay… There isn't anything to complain about … The Rooms are Clean, Kirkland by nature is Fairly Quiet and if Seattle/Bellevue is you're main attraction… There's no real inconvenience, unless you Are going to Drink, then I recommend taking a tent and camp… It's the new trend and it's Free.

The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. The price was affordable and the room was clean if a bit small. The beds were a bit hard for my taste but suitable for a nights sleeps.

Good for an overnight stay. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would be nice if they supplied shampoo and conditioner as most hotels do and I expected some. Could not wash my hair in am.

Even though, as I'm thinking about motels in general, this is probably very ordinary. But all the same, motels should discount any "non-smoking rooms" that really aren't, at least until they get around to deodorizing them. I do get it. Most motel customers aren't on vacation, looking for anything nice. They're just traveling for work and passing out to do it all over again the next day. I'm just saying, me not smoking in the room that night ain't what makes it a non-smoking room. It might have been simply the bedding. That's a pretty simple fix: don't mix the bedding. And while you're at it, Simple Green those smells. It works, I guarantee it.

I liked the HD TV being built into the wall. Much handier by not taking room sitting on a chest or table. My only comment for improvement was the water pressure was quite low. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay here. Thanks.

I have stayed in Motel 6, since it was $6! Anyway, I love this location. It is run very professionally, with kind and helpful people. It is owned by the corporation. This is extremely rare, but is very important, and allows for excellent customer service. Elevator. Very nice. Price. Excellent. Cannot be matched for 30 miles. Laundry. They have a laundry room. Absolutely important. Here, there is even a front loader washer. I sincerely thank this location for a nice hotel. I have stayed here six times.

Location was great… right off the freeway. Great price for room. Although smelled like someone cleaned with a mildew smelling rag or mop. The top blanket was very thin for winter season, although the heater did work, which I do not like to use.

What were you hoping for? Make sure you don't have any warrants out. Because KPD will be running your name. No issue with it. It's understandable. They probably could make monthly quotas just out of that place.

You get what you pay for, I suppose. This location is great but the manager was rude and acted inconvenienced. When we booked the room, we requested extra blankets and pillows on our reservation. After we checked in, we noticed they weren't in our room. We headed to the office to ask for some but what we were met with rudeness about our request. Also, our neighbors downstairs verbally attacked us for the sound of our footsteps when we first got into the room at 2om. Police make their rounds through the parking lot day and night and the rooms have an unpleasant sour odor. But hey… the location and price were great!

I have stayed at dozens of hotels. I have seen the inside of a few hundred rooms. This was the worst of them. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel / room. The police there twice for what looked and sounded like domestic violence issues. I understand the hotel has no control over this. But the night desk man was more interested in watching a family at what may have been their lowest point, instead of helping us check in. There was a drop of blood on the toilet seat in the room. In our room. There was another drop of blood on the floor in front of the toilet. The TV remote had no batteries. Not dead batteries. None. I could go on, but there's no point. I've stayed at Motel 6 properties before. After this, I may not do it again.

Customer service rep at front desk for check in was not very confident in herself. She had me in thee different room's before giving me a room on the second floor. Television was in need of replacement, it had pixel problems. The shower had black mold in the crevices near the shower door. The maid service was great. The woman at the front desk the next morning was very helpful. All in all, my stay was what I expected.

A motel 6, probably what you expect. We go there because they are pet friendly. Counter service was nice, room was a little small but totally acceptable. Free coffee in the morning.

Stayed here because I lost my debit card and this is the only place that will take cash without a deposit. Super super clean compared to other motels at the same rate. Fun, futuristic rooms in my opinion. Very nice, yet not frilly staff. A little nervous about other attendants at no fault of the motel. Other attendants make me feel bad for the staff because I have seen people harass and get creepy with them, so if they're uneasy with me I totally understand honestly. A little difficult to find, also at no fault of the motel. Walls are a little thin. Not sure what people are talking about with the shower heads or maybe are over exaggerating, I'm 5'9" and have no issue with the shower head, except that maybe it's too sensitive. Compared to other motels I have stayed in for the same rate it truly is great for the price. Only thing would be lack of amenities, a hair dryer, coffee maker or microwave would have been nice but I imagine they are probably expensive to keep up with & their lack of would be why the motel stays deposit free & why we're able to pay with cash. Wi-Fi gets really expensive if you are staying here for an extended period of time.

We knew we were going for the cheaper option, so we expected just the bare bones basics, but you have to be able to sleep. Room was too hot and fan/AC unit did not work. Beds do not have box springs and are hard-uncomfortable. No place to put anything down other than floor, towels are ridiculously small, and not enough pillows. You have to pay at the beginning of your stay, not just the usual hold on your card till check out, which should have been a red flag. We canceled our second night and went to Comfort Inn across the street. Only a few dollars more and you get breakfast. Have credit on Guest Folio for second night, but has not shown up on my credit card statement yet. Full charge for both nights does show up. At most hotels, I would give my card at the beginning so that they have it, but they do not actually charge your card until final amount is known! This is industry standard! Will not stay there again.

A good place to sleep at but doesn't offer much. Pro- Decent price Clean Staff was friendly Cable Pet friendly Con- Shower — nozzle height works great if you are 5'6 or shorter, otherwise, be prepared for an awkward shower. Also, the temperature nozzle is very touchy. Amenities — no hair dryer availability, table is very small, no complimentary shampoo, no in room coffee. Area — didn't seem bad but it appeared that some people may have been living in the hotel. Room — gives the two queen beds stated but the beds are each cramped against the wall so tight quarters.

We came to Salem to watch the total eclipse. Even though the availability was very limited during this period and we came to check in around 7pm but the hotel still kept the room for us. It's a very basic room to stay. There is nothing to complain if you just want a place to rest your back. The location is convenient, it's near the interstate and there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, an ok place for the price. The staff was very friendly also.

The hotel was a lot smaller than I thought and didn't even have a mini fridge which was very inconvenient. The front desk person who let me in was named Brock and he was the only thing that made my stay enjoyable. He was very approachable and accommodated my request without any hesitation.

Super great value for money. Very comfortable bed although there were only two pillows. Very clean and glad there was no smelly carpet. Modern big flat TV and clear reception. A bottle of drinking water would be appreciated as welcome treat.

Stayed there to attend a concert at the Chateau Ste Michelle winery that is only 20 minutes away. Perfect for our needs. Nice to come back to a nice clean room. Wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool more. Motel 6 is still best for the traveler.

I look to Motel 6 to be a safe place to take a shower and to sleep after a hard day of travel. I do not expect frills and room service other than prompt and efficient staff who respond to needs. The hotel rooms I received were free of clutter and needles distraction. When called the hospital staff responded promptly to a plumbing issue, were courteous and respectful and entirely professional. Cleaning service was effective, professional and attentive. I will gladly stay at this Motel 6 again when I am in town.

I knew that Motel 6 was a no frills option, but I didn't realize how no frills it would be. No extra pillows or blankets, no carpet, tiny shower with a very low shower head, no blow dryer, no cups, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, no shampoo or conditioner, one bar of soap for the sink and one for the shower, however if you open the soap it will be thrown away and not replaced for the second day. Our room also smelled really bad. I thought all I wanted was a bed to sleep in and a shower, but I've realized that I want more and will be willing to pay for it. The savings was not significant enough to put up with these inconveniences. The staff did their job but acted just like a clerk at a convenience store. Not the same attitude or support you get from other hotels.

The short Mexican lady who waited on me was very rude. I had a reservation I showed up a couple hours early and could have easily said the rooms were not ready yet and been polite about it but she wasn't she was rude. When I came back at my check in time she told me there was not a room ready yet. While I was in the office two people came in without reservations and were able to get rooms and she just kept telling me sorry no rooms available for me. It wasn't until I actually said something that her manager could hear did she do something and gave me a room.

Having stayed at your swift current sk location which we enjoyed for its nice clean room we decided to try you again. My wife and I booked a non smoking room. When we arrived there was not one, nor was there another room I'm the area in a comparably priced hotel. The front desk gave us lemon spray which did not help and we had issues sleeping it was so bad in there. And seriously, no shampoo? We should have slept in our car.

At glance it seemed fine — minimal stuff of beds and bathroom no frills. It would totally be fine. Then there was hair in the shower and on my towel before I used both. I opened the bed to reveal what looked like someone slept in it — 5 or so hairs! Both beds had hairs in them gross.

I've stayed at a few Motel 6 locations and this by far was the worst experience, I was in room 125 and people above me were drinking out on the balcony obviously intoxicated, every other word was a swear word and they were spitting off the balcony down on top of cars then they were up until 3-4am doing everything other than being quiet enough so other guests could sleep, I was there 5 nights for work and only got to sleep about 3-4hrs a night do to there noise. The room was fair other than the mold in my shower and when the pics on line show refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee pots in the rooms then then finding out otherwise "none of those items" it was kinda disappointing especially for people like me who work out of town and like to have a place to keep some items like leftovers cold, and also a microwave to reheat them. Now I know means have perfect language and have used a few bad words in my life and I don't keep a perfect spot free house all the time, I also realize it's probably tough keeping track of all the properties you as a business have, but the more and more guest that have this experience will likely be unhappy unless the issues are addressed. As far as staying again, I probably wouldn't pay $10 to stay, let alone $105 a night. Mitch.

No fridge, no microwave, $3 internet charge daily. Woke up by large dogs in the room overhead at 2 am. The only plus is a very clean room, recently reno'd. But the minuses on the amenities preclude me from ever staying here again. 3 buck Wi-Fi? What decade is this?

Clean. Remarkably quiet. Relatively comfortable. Good value for the price.

Great location, right next to a LA Fitness and a Denny's and less than 0.5 miles from a Starbucks (although there is not a good sidewalk to walk to Starbucks). The coffee if good, but for food, you have to go to Denny's, although you do get a 10% discount if you mention that you're staying at Motwl 6. Also, the Denny's has cocktails, so its a nice place for dinner. It's right off the 405, but traffic does get guite heavy during the week during rush hour. Only ding is the Wi-Fi, which you get free for the first night but is $3.25 afterwards with only a few kbps (enough for emails, but almost not even enough for Facebook and definitely not enough for streaming videos). For the price, it's definitely worth it.

The building is three stories tall so either someone is going to be above you or you are going to have to lug your stuff up three flights of stars. In the former case, since the floors are thin, you get to listen to everything the person does upstairs. I had some lady with her dog stay above me this time. I could hear her walk from one side to the other, talking to her dog, moving around on the bed, ugh! The place is clean enough, but bring your ear plugs.

Location was fine, in decent neighborhood, looked great in the outside. Room was a bit cramped and the shower head was low. Simple, no nonsense, paid Wi-Fi.

They are probably friendly because this is the go-to motel for people who don't want their own residence to smell like meth and/or crack. They don't really check anyone's info, so at any time there are drug deals and addicts shooting-up and smoking in any of their rooms. Since they accept cash payment in advance, it is very easy. I would not choose this place to stay, especially if I had children with me.

Place has nice inside rooms for the most part, but the walls are paper thin and people everywhere are loud and very noise can't sleep at all in the day here unless you have ear plugs, I had to come back and edit this because the second night stay got even worse here they're doing some construction or jackhammering on the floor above me after I just work grave yard shift so sleeping isn't a option during the day here at this hotel and its 10:30am in the morning still but some how they managed to not let me get sleep 2 days in a row with God knows what with how they clean rooms or are bringing in a construction site up above me!

Great room for a low budget trip. Very clean room with comfortable memory foam beds. The Staff here are great. Only one tip: bring your own coffee maker haha.

The staff at Motel 6 in Kirkland is awesome. They have gone out of there way way to make me comfortable and at home here. Extended stay is where I am at and the rooms are clean, comfortable and they allow pets as well. Third floor recommended as traffic noise you can not here. Nothing here is wrong for extended stay and affordable as well.

I've been staying here frequently on the weekends for nearly four years now. I enjoy the price, the pet friendly environment and the motel staff that have really gone out of their way to remember my name and make me feel more than welcome. The rooms are clean and simple, no frills for sure, but that's all a person really needs isn't it? It's close to the family I visit, food and shopping and just a minute from the freeway. They are open to suggestions on how to make my visit more pleasant and lately they are really taking steps to cut back on noise and potential issues in the evening hours, which is a bonus! Just a minor issue which is no fault of the motel staff. The motel6 chain has discontinued AARP discounts and changed it to 65+. Which I am a little irritated with since I am there so often (every dollar counts). Other than that, if you just need a room and can forgo all the fluff. This is the best bang for your buck! update — nov 13 — aarp rates are back and aarp members get free wireless internet now! well done and a good decision.

Probably won't stay here again. I stayed in three different rooms. The first one was fine, but had lots of freeway noise, so it was hard to sleep at night. The second was okay as well, but the microwave was very loud and made the lights dim a lot. The third room was by far the worst. The shower would flood, so you were standing in a pool of dirty water and it wouldn't drain at all. The bathroom door kept popping open when you were trying to take a pee. That's a little inconvenient when you're staying in a room with your parents. There never seemed to be enough towels, and they were as thin and less absorbent than paper towels. The place smelled musty and old. The beds were lumpy, hard, and thin. Very uncomfortable. In all of the rooms, all non-smoking, there were HUGE cigarette burns in the blankets, comforters, and pillowcases. We actually found some marijuana in the third room, under the sink. Oh, and when you take off the sheets, or rather, when they fall off, as they don't have any elastic bands at the corners, you see huge urine and blood stains. The same is on some of the pillows. Lots of police activity, too. The cleaning people were quite nice. The managers were always found standing around behind the office, smoking and playing with their dogs. The girl at the front desk was nice, checking in and checking out was quick and easy. Although, when they gave you one key card and you requested another one, they were difficult. It took almost a whole day to get one.
