The room we had booked TV didn't work, spigots were loose in the wall on the shower, paint peeling on the walls. Bathrooms need renovated. Called front desk they moved us up to 3rd floor at least TV worked. I will never stay here again. Not a good place to stay.

Disgusting place. Nothing like the photos they advertise. Management is unprofessional.

Horrible management, unclean environment, mold. Not even willing to make things right, or an apology. Absolutely hands down the worst case scenario when planning to stay somewhere… stay far away from this place.

For $125 a night during peak season we were more than surprised by this motel. Rooms were clean, ac worked great, the staff were pleasant and helpful with every request we had. Beach and main Virginia Beach strip were only yards away. Parking was included too so we left the car and just walked across the the beach. Saved so much money we were able to do many other things.

It is a great place to stay. The room is nice and clean compare to the price. The staffs here are nice. We went early, before the check in time, and they let us use their employees restroom to get change. The only point that I concern is the bathtub. It was blocked by sand. But I think any hotel near the beach has the same issue.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The check in was quick and friendly. The front desk guy even helped us with carrying our luggage to our room. The room smelled really nice and I must say this is one of the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The housekeeping staff was friendly and up to the mark. The pool area was spacious and clean. They also have a grill in the pool area for guests to use, which was very unique. The manager was always available for quick questions and any help. Overall I enjoyed my stay and Oceans 2700 made my holiday even better. I would definitely choose Oceans 2700 for my next visit to Virginia Beach.

The staff was very friendly and very suggestive. The location is great just 1 block from the beach. The room was very clean and Roumit gave lots of ideas of things to do and even allowed me to have an early check in as well as park for awhile after check out! Definitely a great hotel and will stay again and recommend to others! Great job oceans2700.

Where do I begin. Staff was on point with a positive attitude and general knowledge of the property and local area. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The bedding if I could have taken it with me I would have it is so plush and comfortable the pool is just got redone a month ago from what I understand and is super refreshing after a long walk on the beach on a hot day. Keep up the awesome work oceans oceans 2700 u have a guest for life I will be back on the 19th do another awesome stay.

Wonderful stay. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. We just stayed for 4 days. Didn't want to leave. Everyone who we talked to was very nice. Great prices. Directly beside a 7-11 and a Subway. Short walk to the beach (you do have cross a few busier streets). Only wish they would have better internet and continental breakfast.

It's an ok hotel. Service is good, although the same cannot be said for the rooms. First off, the floors in our room were tile. I've never stayed in a hotel with tile floors before, and I'm not sure if I will again. Second, the phone in our room didn't work. Not a huge deal, but still something to note. Last but not least, the light in the shower didn't work. Other than that, it's your typical 2 to 3 star hotel.

Me & my family had the best stay here at oceans 2700! the hotel was clean & tidy. It was also in walking distance to the beach. & the price, you just cant beat the price!

We were here for an overnighter. We arrived at 2 even though check in was at 4, but they happened to have our room ready. So that was really nice. We weren’t planning on spending much time in our room. But we walked in and it was clean, no funny smells or dirty linens. Bathroom was clean. Only thing that kinda sucks is if you have a bigger vehicle, you might have a difficult time parking if the lot is already getting full. And it’s about two blocks from the beach. There is a 7 eleven right next door which is also very nice. I’d be willing to stay there again!

Service was good, AC was weak. But for price and location, definitely good value.

Rooms were clean and spacious thought I could never figure out the AC, but I definitely works. Plenty of parking spots when I was there. Area is well located for access to the beach or the bar strip.

Comfortable beds. Clean your and bathrooms. Staff is very friendly. Wish the pool was open but it's being repaired. Love the location 7 eleven right next door and subway on the other side. Short walk and you are at the beach. Quiet at night. We will be back.

For the price this place is acceptable. Clean and convenient to the beach. If your budget is higher, you can find other places nicer, but its acceptable on a budget.

This trip to Virginia was letting us know if were going to move here… What a life…

We were sent here by expedia. Didn't even get out of the car when we saw it. Very sketchy looking. I'd stay here if I wanted to get bedbugs…

It was conveniently located one tear away from the ocean and from my room I got a nice Ocean View.

Horrible management this is the worst experience I've had. Housekeeping staff always had a bad attitude towards us, they would swear at us. Accused us of smoking in the room and tried to charge 350£. Matthew was highly unprofessional. We were long time customers until new management bought the place. Our rates were increased without proper notice and my friends card was charged without his knowledge. Manager was very confrontational and didn't listen to us.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived tired and sore after a seven hour drive, so we asked to change our room from the third floor to the first floor. However, the first floor room wasn't as ready as it could have been. On the following day when we let them know, they responded quickly to make it right. There was a lot of street noise and light coming in from the street. It's an economy motel, and the cost was very reasonable.

Rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. Has been recently renovated.

Could stand upgrading a few pieces of the overall structure but a nice place to stay, especially considering the location. Stayed on a Friday night (weekend hotels are more expensive pretty much everywhere in Va Beach) the first week of September and was only about $70. The room was clean, staff very friendly, was even allowed to check in early. Would stay again.

The rooms are large. There's TV. It's pretty close to the beach without paying oceanfront price. Easy to walk over to 711 and get snack. Overall it's a great hotel for the price.

Pretty friendly staff and clean rooms. The housekeeping staff was very nice. Parking can sometimes be a pain. Toilet seat was broken, but still usable. Really convenient being next to a 7/11 & subway, plus only one street away from ocean front. Would definitely recommend!

Large clean rooms. No chairs to sit on, so bring some bag chairs. Nice pool. 1 block from the beach. Older hotel, but in decent shape. Fridge, coffee pot, micro, and ironing board inn the room. Was looking for a cheap clean hotel, and this fit the bill.

I liked that it was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The room was comfortable and enjoyable. I didn't like how there were no crosswalk signals. We almost got ran over trying to cross the street to get over. There was no bar of soap in our room.

The hotel itself is nice, could potentially be rated 4 stars, but there are some drawbacks to this particular place. The walls are a bit thin and the ceiling is even thinner (on the ground floor) So, so much noise from upstairs. The windows have no curtains so you may feel like you don't have complete privacy sometimes as the blinds aren't 100% effective. Parking is difficult, and though I applaud the use of dispensers for toiletries, some don't work. The one staff member we had to deal with was polite and courteous, the beds were comfy and the room appointed well, but this isn't a quiet hotel, and the towels are itchy. Lots of noise from cars, and those walking and talking anywhere near your door, window, or ceiling. I imagine it's worse on weekends. The location is great, just a quarter mile from the water, and the price was fair. If I stay here again it will be because of the location, comfy bed, and price.

Terrible. Had a confirmation for booking and got there after a 4 hour drive. To be told that that we did not have a room. That we had previously booked 2 weeks prior. I would give them negative stars for poor customer service if I could.

Its exactly what we thought it would be. Simple and laid back and a short walk to the beach. Who needs oceanfront views. We plan to use this as our place to stay for future vacations. And Jackie was the sweetest and nicest lady I've ever had the pleasure in meeting at a front desk.

Spacious room, takes a little while to get used to non-carpeted floors, no hairdryer in room (available at front desk) ; parking on premises; no breakfast but reasonably close to convenience stores and wide variety of restaurants; amazing location, one block away from the beach/boardwalk. Overall verdict: perfect sized accommodation for a couple, on a no-frills quick beach vacation; look elsewhere if you seek higher levels of comfort.

My family and I have always chose to stay here and have never had any issues. We stayed here memorial day weekend and had a very bad experience and will never stay here again. Our sheets were dirty and werent changed. The hotel didnt have any towels or washclothes the whole stay. All they had was pool towels. We had to go out and buy our own towels and etc. The managment was horrible. We got the run around and after finally talking with Dana she promised she would call back and see what she could do because at the moment she wanst at the office. Its been 3 weeks almost a month snd still havent heard from her. There was a very nice lady and gentleman up front that were very pleasant upon arrival. Accomadating us the best that they could. The location is great, and I love that there is no carpet. We will never come back.

Unexpectedly quaint! Comfortable beds, simple decor, pool, free Wi-Fi and all for a reasonable price. But it was the staff that will bring us back! The manager, Dana, is excellent at her job!

My experience with the staff was excellent. They were amazing. I had a reservation at a hotel known world wide, apparently if your not there by 12:00a. M. Your considered a no show. You lose your room and they still charge your credit card. So here I come at 5:30 a. M. After driving for 12 hours, not for vacation, but to pick my 12 year old daughter who was home sick on vacation with a friend. The whole situation stunk. I drove down from Ohio to turn around and come back, I got there and had no where to even stay, and they were going to try and charge me for it. I was not happy! Believe it or not another popular chain of hotels desk clerk suggested Oceans 2700. I'm so glad she did. Like I said the staff was great. I told them my story, they were so understanding and let me check in a little early. The rooms were very clean. The property was very well maintained. I could tell the people really cared about the hotel and guest. When I asked for something they were prompt to help me. I have back trouble the bed was great, especially after a 12 hour car ride that's saying something. I cannot say enough wonderful things. The customer service was the best, they made us feel right at home. The price was great too. Worth every penny and then some. If you ever go to Virginia Beach stay at this little hotel It is very nice and you will not be disappointed, I highly recommend it.

It is a clean and efficent hotel. There is no enclosed hallway. You leave your room and your outside. They have a fridge, TV, microwave and a wall unit for heating and AC. We came with two little ones. Two queen sized beds. The floor is tile. Looks good, but isn't carpet. I would use it again if I didn't have kids. Was worried it would be sketchy, but everyone was nice and normal. The unattached office didn't have a buzzer or anything during regular hours. Would recommend.

I'll definitely book here again. Not directly on the beach but literally across the street. Clean, modern look. Not a lot of furniture but just enough if your staying for a weekend. The balconies aren't private. The bathroom is very spacious, the picture gives it no justice. Simple place to stay for a simple get away. The tile floor is interesting, no rugs. The pool wasn't in service, but it appeared to be spacious and deep. The construction is across the street, but isn't a big deal. 7-11 with alcohol right next door. 21+ to check in. And the staff we're calm cool and collective.

Online advertising was extremely deceiving. Multiple maintenance issues in the room, not to mention mold in the bathroom, drain in shower would not stay up. "Ocean view" was not visible. Save your money and do your research before booking this hotel!

No hotel can even compare to the quality and service. When my husband and I want to get away we always come here. A home away from home.

Very Pleasant Place, a diamond in the rough, the front desk staff goes out of their way to make sure your as comfortable as home, specifically Dianne, she was super nice, and made sure I had everything I needed, and checked in on me to see if I had any questions after I settled, made me feel like I was home. Newly renovated, rooms are a little bare but the things that most hotels have that are usually dirty, like the carpet and comforter, this hotel thought of, the floor is tile, so easy to clean and no question it is, there isn't the typical comforter, just a clean sheets and blankets, they offer a weekly rate and it saved me $1000 over 2 weeks, ill come back here every time I visit, id like to keep it as my little secret, Finally a hotel that gets it. What else can I say Everything was perfect.

Stayed here during beach week. It was very clean and reasonably priced during a period when most hotels were charging $400-$800 for the entire weekend. The staff was amazing! Can't remember her name but she is an older Caucasian lady and she is very sweet and takes pride in her guest. Definitely would recommend you stay here if the oceanfront isn't a necessity when you go to the beach.

First, I want to say that the staff is friendly. After checking in, the overnight stay experience became quite frustrating. We were booked 2 rooms down from a long term guest. He obviously had mental challenges as he was up all night long cussing at the wall. This is how I know. I stepped outside to see who was arguing and this guy had his door wide open, looking at the wall and cussing out an imaginary Social Security Representative. We asked the front office staff why we were booked so close to this guys room. Their response was, "We like to give the impression that our rooms are booked, so we space the quest out. In all said, we received a $15 discount for the inconvenience. Should have been totally free since we got very little rest, but at least we were reimbursed a small percentage of our stay. The rooms are clean, but lack furniture. There is no where to sit except on the bed. Also, there's no bathroom counter space, — — only a very small vanity sink. We would stay here again only if we are farrrr from that long term guest and there are no other bookings in the area. My rating is a 2.0.

Oceans 2700 has been completely renovated and is in immaculate condition. The front desk agents are very friendly and understanding. Everyone goes above and beyond their call of duty to insure that you have an amazing stay. Great Job Oceans 2700 and the entire staff for making sure I had an excellent stay.
