Great accommodations, great staff, had an old time feel to it. It's location is right is right in the center of town. Other than the Fire Hall blowing its air horn at 4 a. M. It was good.

Awesome antique atmosphere. Delicious food. Fast and friendly service.

Nice room. OK view. Easy parking. Great location. Great food in bar and restaurant. I would stay here again if in the area.

Just awesome! The setting is very old century but the people make it so welcoming. I will definitely be back and will be telling my friends about this great place.

Beds are hard and very uncomfortable, beautiful bedspread but it was torn in 5 places, the carpeting on the floor was indoor outdoor style and you could tell by the wrinkles and lumps as you walked across it that it was not installed properly and needs replaced also the floors underneath actually has holes in them that your foot sinks into a little, scary. The building was from 1902 and the paint, wall paper, carpeting and furniture all look like that was the last time anyone repaired them. It was very sad that the place looked dirty and neglected. Very sad and uncomfortable experience. H.

I loved this hotel, and I can't wait to come back. The first great thing about the hotel is Lola and Alex, as they are the two of the nicest/coolest people I have ever met. It gave me faith that there are good Virginians out there! I have seen other reviews that they thought the place looked haunted, and I totally agree. Me and my good friend did some amature (really really amature) ghost hunting in room 210, and had a blast. We didn't really hear, see or find anything, but I was so glad I decide to make the trip. I am counting the days until I can go back and stay. The only thing stopping me is the four hour drive to and from. Notice I didn't say money, because this place is nicely priced. Oh,, and the food is amazing too.

Service was great, staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel was neat, like one of those old homes you expect to be haunted. Beautiful paintings on all the walls, nik naks everywhere. Sunday brunch was alright, more southern themed early lunch. We also ate dinner the night before, it was good but nothing to write home about. The night siren did go off during the visit, but it only goes off once and doesn't last more than a minute. There really isn't too much around Strasburg, we stayed because of the price and it's location was near some good hiking trails. 3 stars because its okay, its homey and neat, the price is great, but fantastic isn't a word I would use here.

The Hotel is a location on the O'Shenandoah County Artisan Trail. The porch is a great place to relax and eat dinner, or hang out in the tavern for a more neighborhood feel. I like the salads they serve.

Stayed here two nights, very nice room, nice bathroom. Ended up eating at their restaurant both nights because the food was excellent and there isn't much else in town! Lola at the front desk was extremely helpful and all the dinner/bar staff were very friendly as well! It was kind of weird that the cleaning staff hang out/work on the 2nd floor hallway all day. Made it kind of, I don't know, less private in your room because obviously the walls and doors are super thin. I'd suggest getting a room on the 3rd floor or in one of the annexes. We didn't really like the Strasburg Emporium. Everything seemed rather overpriced and collectibles that may not have actually been collectibles. We found a store down the street though that had really neat stuff for more reasonable prices: E. Pearls on king st right next to Hi Neighbor, which was also yummy.

We were very disappointed in our stay and we stayed in one of the "nicer rooms"! (the Presidential Suite). This hotel seems to be on its way out; the carpet and bathroom rugs were dirty, (the previous occupants had described the hot tub/jacuzzi as being filthy with strings of mucous in it! ), the room was overall dark, dreary, and dingy. The hotel does not tell you until you check in (on a small barely noticeable plaque) that the town's "quaint character" includes an antiquated air raid siren that goes off during the night to summon firefighters! We hardly slept at all and awoke exhausted as we heard traffic throughout the night (its feet from a surprisingly busy street), guests coming and going, a drunk outside at 1:00 breaking beer bottles, and the siren. The breakfast the next morning was very disappointing, just two cold cereals, a coffee cake, bagels still in plastic bags, juice, that's pretty much it. This place was the worst of our stays in the Shenandoah Valley.
