The rooms were very clean and had the basic amenities needed for a short term stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. There is a pool and gym available on the first floor as well as two computers to use with print capability. The breakfast that is included was good and consisted of more than a bagel and juice. You can make your own mini waffles, have eggs, cereal, etc. Overall a very good place to stay at.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the staff, The View the and breakfast. For a continental breakfast it was excellent. The interior was a little dated and the rooms could have been cared for a little better but I would return for the price point the beds were comfortable and I got a good night's rest. Great place to pull off the road and rest.

Newly renovated. Fresh carpet, appliances and rooms. Front desk staff extremely friendly and informative. Paula and Tiffany (room service) were so friendly. I opened my door in the morning to be greeted by a huge smile and greeting from Paula. It was so refreshing to speak to someone who thoroughly enjoyed their job. She made my day after engaging in some warm and sincere conversation. We will definitely visit again.

Located close to I 81 which is nice. Rooms are clean and beds were firm. Breakfast had a variety of items & well supplied, and the area was clean with a lot of seating.

The hotel is conveniently located near front royal entrance to Shenendoah National Park. Has a shopping mall and food joints just 5 min drive from the Hotel. We stayed their last weekend and the room service wasn't up to the mark. They made just one bed out of two queen beds in our room. Didn't replace the coffee and tea bags in the room. When notified to the staff at the front desk, she asked us to collect coffee packets from tge concierge instead of bringing it to our room. And to add to the discomfort my husband saw a bed bug the other day but we were already checking out that day. We notified the front desk who said they are just sorry for that and compensated for one night. We returned in fear that our clothes and car could be infested with bugs. So I wouldn't recommend Fairfield as it isn't living up to the quality of being a Marriott property. I have been to other Marriott properties and never had such issues.

The views from the fourth floor were amazing. The staff was friendly and the location is convenient to the interstate. The only downside was the outdated room. There were no usb charge points anywhere in the room.

Nice place! Friendly staff and clean throughout. Breakfast is standard. Would have given 5 stars but the pool was out of service and the cable TV barely worked.

Staff was lovely. Clean hotel, breakfast area very nice, good selection and the lady in charge even shared some recipes with us.

There are only a few options if you're staying in Strasburg and this is usually the best choice for cleanliness, professionalism, etc. If you're really looking forward to using the pool then call ahead, because it's had some issues the past year. They don't generally allow pets (with exception of service animals), so keep that in mind. The parking lot cannot accommodate large vehicles. It's a good distance from the downtown area. The hotel has been under renovation the last year in phases, but is nearing completion.

Decent-sized, clean rooms, with a good number of amenities. Reception gave us cheap, but free, toothbrushes upon request, since we forgot to bring some with us. Only minor annoyance was the limited number of available power outlets in the room. The breakfast starts at 7 AM, which was too late for us, since we had to go somewhere early in the morning.

I have stayed here twice and both times the facilities have been excellent and I enjoyed my stay. The full breakfast is great and the rate was quite decent at under 100 dollars. I would recommend searching around for rates because they ranged from 85 to 150 depending on where you look.

Stayed in a suite with 2 double beds and a living area. Room was very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. My only complaint was breakfast. There were some decent options but nothing I would personally eat. Great for typical breakfast people but not awesome for more brunch-type eaters.

I think I give you guys a five. The place was nice, and the people were nice. I actually slept straight thru the night. Bathroom could us a better hook though for the towels. Breakfast was free with the stay which I loved. Could also be more outlits near the bed for charging.

We got a suite, which had 2 double beds and a separate room with sofa. It was huge! Even had tall ceilings to make it feel bigger. Staff was super friendly, even at our midnight check-in. Breakfast was hot and everything was very clean. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was ok, but for the price I was expecting better. The fridge didn't have even a small freezer. Also the breakfast was less than appetizing. Overall we where less than pleased with our stay.

I booked a trip through Expedia to stay in this hotel. We had to adjust the dates for our trip to a later date and so I had changed the dates with Expedia but for some reason the dates didn't change with Fairfield Inn. When we didn't show up, no one called or anything to find out what might have happened or where we might be. But they had no problem charging my credit card for the stay that didn't occur after the fact. We were going to just re-book our trip again for the proper weekend but after speaking with the hotel, we decided against it when they wouldn't refund our money for the weekend that we DIDN'T EVEN STAY WITH THEM. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion. We will never stay in a Fairfield Inn or Marriot again! And I will be sure to spread the word about my experience to everyone that I can.

Good location. Nice, clean rooms, if a bit on the small size. Hot breakfast was nice, included ham and eggs, greek yogurt, waffles and fresh fruit. Indoor pool is perfect for relaxing or splashing around with the kids, not so much for swimming laps. And the fitness center was convenient for a quick workout.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Rooms are starting to feel a little dated and the floors seemed especially thin. The staff at breakfast were quick to refill items and on clean up were there to sweep up a mess our youngest caused even when we offered to do it ourselves. It does look like they are in the middle of updates now.

Very impressed with the room and the balcony really gives you a wonderful view of the mountains. Clean room, friendly staff, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Probably the best nights sleep I ever had on vacation.

Fine place for the price. We have 4 rooms for 8 people, all on the same floor near each other and the best thing was they had us set for checkin with keys after a hot round of golf. So we quickly got into showers to refresh ourselves. Free breakfast gets you what you pay for it. Rooms were your basic twin queens with good AC, okay showers/baths.

We booked for late arrival and the check in process was painless and prompt. The rooms were side by side as requested and very clean and quiet. The towels were nice, the pillows very soft, the mattress comfortable. The climate control is on the unit by the window and very responsive. The breakfast was your typical hotel fare, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, make your own waffles, some scrambled egg looking stuff, cereal, fresh cut fruit, coffee, juices. The pool was not available due to maintainance until mid August and this was clearly explained at time of booking. Overall a good experience. Next door to cute Italian restaurant and maybe 50 yards to Denny's which is open 24 hours. This hotel is very close to 81. There is a Food Lion a mile down the road. A good stopping point for travelers.

Nice hotel. Stayed here to breakup a long trip with the family. Staff was awesome. Room was clean and the pool was warm. Breakfast was okay but the norm for these types of hotels. Will stay here again when we are taveling to see family up north.

Hotel was very nice room was clean etc. The front desk person also gave us a certificate where we saved 20 percent On dinner. Overall very nice stay.

I love to stay here. The views are amazing and the rooms are quiet. It's about 30 minutes from the park with very attractive rates to stay.

Basic clean modern room. Helpful staff. Continental breakfast looked good. Did not partake, if you have time check out Cristinas Cafe in strasburg for a scratch made breakfast.

What a mistake! Last year we stayed in Winchester FF Inn and it was wonderful! Arrived at this hotel @10:30 pm after a long day of driving. Clerk did not correctly input room number on card, had to go back & get that corrected… In room, there are areas in carpet worn/ pieces of carpet are actually missing! There was no microwave or fridge in room. Called the clerk, was told you do not get those amenities in king size rooms! I am a Silver Elite & my husband was a Platinum level member before retiring, so needless to say we have stayed at plenty of Marriott's and have never heard of such! Spend a little more and go to Winchester.

Clean room and common spaces. We have stayed here on yearly trips in the last two years and have always been satisfied. Nice amenities: breakfast, pool. The 24/7 coffee/tea provided is a great touch. Views of the surrounding valley are great as the area really is beautiful.

Amazing views of the mountains if you can get a room on the 3rd floor looking at the mountains it is an amazing sight to see! There are 2 tv's in the hotel room one in the lounge area (where you walk into your room) and one in the bedroom! The beds are very comfy and also the pillows are too! I enjoyed my stay here and we will definitely come back!

Would have given a 5 star rating if at Check in the desk clerk would have been a bit more personable.

Double Queen Suite on the 4th floor facing the Valley. The view was nice. Have stayed 3 times prior. This is the closest Marriott to the North of Shenandoah Valley as of the date of this review. The room was clean and spacious however the bathroom floor had some kind of residue. The sofa (sofa bed) was sunken in in the middle so sitting on it was awkward as you would find yourself leaning towards the middle. The bed cover at the foot of the bed had blood stains on it. The sheets themselves appeared clean however some fabric softener would help as the sheets were stiff. There are a few restaurants next to the hotel (walkable) as well as gas station and convenience store. An average Marriott, I've been to worse and I've been to better. I cannot speak much to the staff since I rarely have much interaction with them. The last visit the staff was not very friendly nor responsive to requests like extra towels for the pool. That individual was not there during this stay. I've been a Marriott Platinum Member for approx the last 7 years.

Stayed last night in Winchester Virginia. A very nice and clean hotel. The employees were very nice and helpful… The breakfast was great also.

Pretty good. Pros: Decent breakfast, reasonably quiet place: Even though it is not far from I81, the noise is not too intrusive. Room is pretty standard. Clean and well managed. Breakfast is OK. Cons: The parking space seems to be tight. Room cleaning is a bit too early.

Clean rooms. Nice towels. Friendly staff. HaaganDaz sold in lobby! Beds a little hard for me. But overall a good place.
