Great room and even better service. Woman at front desk helped us get a fan and she was the only one working at the time. So thoughtful and helpful.

I stayed here last year for a weekend while my daughter was at orchestra camp at JMU. My sister in law was coming to watch her, and I had asked, if possible, for us to stay near each other. They were very accommodating and we ended up staying next door to each other. Can’t wait to stay here again in May.

The room was very nice and spacious! I love the high ceilings & kitchenette too! VERY nice staff!

A little disappointed that when we checked in, they didn't have our room that we reserved. They had to downgrade bus to get a room. Just came back from masanutten to our room "cleaned". It wasn't cleaned at all. In fact, the pullout couch is still out, sheets the same as how we left. Nothing tidied up in our room at all. Just disappointed. Only thing done was trash taken and new towels dropped.

The room was perfect! It was so clean and neat, and modern. The front desk staff was awesome, very pleasant and welcoming. The rate was great too. I will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are always clean. Staff is wonderful. Location is great. Plenty of places to eat & shop within walking distance.

Loved the spacious rooms, the equipment and beds provided. Has a nice little pool and whirlpool for kids and you. Has a fireplace outside too. The breakfast is ok for a quick bite as you would expect.

Without a doubt, one of the finest family hotels I have known. For your budget, accommodations, and the excellent staff, this is a great place to visit. A great big shout-out to Geneva, Janeen, and JC among others for the excellent care and concern about guest well being. The kitchen serves up a wonderful breakfast each morning and snack meals several evenings as well. Thanks to Chef Bob and the rest of staff! And last but not least, our housekeeping staff and their leader Maria, each and every day they see to it that rooms are fresh and ready for new arrivals. Thank you all so very much!

We found the In to be like home. Very clean with all the amendities we needed. Tastefully decorated and the hospitality was great! Highly recommend it for short or long term stay. Very affordable for all you get!

My boyfriend and I recently had a safety issue at our apartment, and we had to leave. We stayed here for a few nights while waiting for our new lease to begin. First off, the hotel is lovely — clean, well taken care of. Our room was huge; we even joked about asking what they charge per month! It had a mostly full kitchen (minus an oven) and a nice little sitting area. However, the best part about this place was their willingness to help us. After what we went through, we were very shaken up and needed the room at the last minute, and the front desk associate, Tiffany, did everything she could to make us comfortable and helped us feel okay again. She went above and beyond — were so grateful for her hospitality and care for complete strangers. We have decided that Marriotts will be our hotel of choice from now on. Thank you, Tiffany and Marriott!

We check in late, around 12 at night. Service was quick and we were in our room in minutes. Breakfest was good. Not too many options, but it was very sanitary and food prep was good. They would make sure to put a few of each thing, like bacon, out at a time, which made it crispy and hot.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we were a bit disappointed. The room we were given had a broken drawer in the bathroom, a hole in the wall under the towel rack, and the other towel rack kept falling off (it wasn't installed correctly). Also, the room was pretty small compared to our previous stay. Now, all of that said, we spoke with the front desk and they gave us a different room. The staff was very kind and pleasant. The hotel itself is nice, well-kept and cozy. We enjoyed the hottub too (not many hotels have a hottub these days). All in all, a good experience and worth the price. Oh, make sure you get some breakfast. It's pretty good too.

Great place. Clean rooms and common areas. Friendly staff especially Gladys Chujoy Director of Sales who was most helpful. We stayed for over a week and loved it. Housekeeping was also great with multiple team members on each floor ensuring rooms were cleaned quickly. Breakfast included, coffee all day and the meet and greets were fun. On site laundry facility was a plus as well. We will be back.

Compared to all the hotels you could stay at within 100 miles… this is the best! Military rate was about 150 off on a last minute reservation. Large comfortable room with wrap around couch. Full kitchen. Tee tree and Paul Mitchel products. Free breakfast. Pool with Hot tub. Netflix Hulu! Fire pit lounge area! Clean! Friendly staff! Would recommend!

I like to cook myself. It happen the same if I travel. This Residence Inn is the best, the most comfortable, one of the best maintaining hotels I've been stay. Worth the money. Strongly recommend.

Beautiful rooms and great amenities. Friendly staff very willing to help out when needed. Great room for extended stay. We only stayed the one night. But our suite had everything you could need to live comfortably for longer stays. The fireplace in the living area was a complete surprise! Breakfast buffet in the morning was tasty for motel breakfast. I would definitely repeat our stay there.

Great breakfast in the morning! Pets are welcome here and it's a flat rate of $100 for the duration of the stay. This location is close to everything in Harrisonburg and is very convenient. My only gripe is that the pillows are very firm and I prefer softer pillows. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town!

I'd stay here again definitely. Clean and spacious suites. Friendly staff. The HH was interesting with foods being brought in from home it looked like, in Tupperware. But the accomodations were comfy, and they give you access to a local gym for free. Classes included!

Will stay here again. No need to look around after the perfect experience my family had here. Pool / hot tub awesome! My boys love it with 20* weather outside. The room we are very happy with and breakfast was well worth it.

The suite that we stayed in was well kept and well decorated. The living space is was ample and the kitchen was accommodating. The staff were a pleasure to speak with and I'll be glad to staying in this hotel once again!

This is probably the best residence inn I've ever stayed at. It was recently renovated and everything looks new and fresh. The breakfast is a step above typical residence inn breakfasts. They have waffles, hot foods, chiboni yogurts, cereal, and juices. The room was nice. The staff was very friendly and engaging.

Definitely the best experience I have encountered. The customer service at the front desk was above and beyond other experiences. Deb was the front desk staff that helped me check in. She was very informative of the area. The rooms are clean and the layout is great. This is a must stay if your in the area.

Had a beautiful suite with a great shower. Bed was comfortable and free Wi-Fi. Free breakfast included was good with make-your-own waffles and other hot dishes, as well as a variety of foods. Easily accessible right off highway 81 but somehow our GPS misdirected us when I put in the address, right past the hotel-about 20 minutes! When I called the hotel to figure out how to get there, they had a difficult time directing us back.

I have stayed in many Marriott facilities and this is by far the best. Have been there for six weeks for work and everything was wonderful. The front desk staff are the best out there! Very accommodating and a nice group of people. The fire pit is wonderful to sit around, no matter what the weather. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Harrisonburg.

The front desk and manage staff were great. We stayed a total of 3 nights. They were very helpful and informative. The housekeeping was a different story. Our room did not get cleaned the first day and the second day we had to call in and request and even that was not thoroughly done. They left our kids' soiled sheets on the bed. The pool area and gym were always out of towels every time we went so we had to go to the front desk to get some. There was glitter in the pool and the pool deck needed some mopping. Even the plants were in desperate need of watering. The hallways had glitter/confetti on the carpet the whole time we were there so obviously not getting vacuumed on a daily basis. They do offer breakfast every morning and if you have to leave before it starts they have to-go bags waiting for you. They also do happy hours a couple of nights during the week. They do provided umbrellas when it is raining. They also have a Marketplace to pick up minimal groceries.

We are platinum Marriott rewards members. King suite Room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The lobby area was open and uncluttered. The only complaint would be the overly strong frebreeze smell in the lobby. Free hot breakfast served until 9:30 am weekdays. 9:30 promptly, don't attempt to squeeze in one second after the clock strikes 9:30! Overall, a nice residence inn.

Best hotel to stay at for business or personal. Breakfast is awesome. Customer service is on the next level. Rooms are huge and full kitchens. They have a gym, pool and Jacuzzi. Will continue to come back.

Stayed here for a month for work. The rooms are very clean and had everything, the staff was the nicest I've ever seen and very helpful. The location is great and near everything. The pool and Monday thru Wednesday social in the lobby is great. The whole experience was outstanding. I hope to stay here for work every time.

The rooms are nice and clean. Easy access to the parking lot for loading and unloading. We were lucky with not having loud people or people with dogs near us, we were able to come and go without being bothered since our room was on the first floor. Other times we stayed here we had issues with annoying dogs in the lobby. This time it was quiet and it was a very good experience. Really enjoyed the room.

Excellent stay! Well appointed studio with kitchenette, king bed with fold out couch was plenty of room for two adults and two kids. This pet friendly hotel also accommodated our two dogs that came along for the trip. Complementary hot breakfast and M-W evening socials also set this brand apart from other hotels. The courteous and prompt staff never disappoint and the hotel is located in a quiet area near several restaurants and around the corner from a large theater. Stay here if you want a home away from home when travelling to (or through) the area!

Stopped in for the night while making a long drive. Staff was super nice & accommodating. Room was very nicely set up and worked great for me since I was traveling with a friend and a young child. Kitchen area suited all our needs. The included hot breakfast was perfect, and Bob, the breakfast area attendant was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and my 5 year old ate a good breakfast before we hit the road again. Highly recommend & will return as I make this same long drive periodically.

The hotel is very nice. The staff has been generally friendly and courteous. My second week there hit a reservation snafu but eventually was resolved. The hotel is in excellent condition. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The fitness center is large and is open 24 hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Harrisonburg.

Great room, but disappointing experience. We stayed there even though it was more than we usually spend because of reviews that rated it a best choice for traveling families with small children, but although we requested a crib when we made our reservation, no one at the front desk seemed to know about that request when we checked in. At that point, no cribs were available. Or 1yr old slept on an upside down table surrounded by some chairs and propped up couch cushions. Less than ideal. Otherwise I'd give a 5 start rating, but that situation added a lot of stress to our night, and we felt we should have just stayed somewhere cheaper for that experience.

The staff were very helpful as they dealt with some staffing issues. The room was clean, very large, well organized, and nicely appointed. Location was good with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

This is by far the best Marriott I've been to, even compared to 4 and 5 star Marriotts, when it comes to customer service. Of the 3 star hotels this one by far has the best breakfast spread, LOTS OF OPTIONS with lots of toppings to put on waffles, the hot breakfast was great, everything was fresh. The staff was so helpful, courteous and so kind. The room was fantastic too. Only reason why I deducted one star was the cleaning crew forgot to empty one trash can before we got to the room and the A. C. Was pretty loud for my liking. That would not stop me from staying here again though. Great job Marriott Harrisonburg staff. You guys are the best!

We loved our time here because of the great staff clean rooms, and the amenities (gym, pool, spa, coffee 24/7). We were stuck here during the blizzard and the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was ok, they even let us borrow snow shovels! We will recommend this to our family and friends visiting the area. (And a special shoutout to Bob, the man serving wonderful breakfasts every morning. )

This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in all year! The service is top notch! Breakfast is amazing, and their homemade cookies are unbelievably good! The rooms here are so pretty and and very family-friendly, with the full-serve kitchen sitting area/living room and your bedroom! It's also convenient to everything around town! If your looking for a great place to stay this is the place!

I have stayed here multiple times throughout the last 5 years, and it has always been great. My family and I are all allergic to dogs and cats, and even though the hotel IS pet friendly, none of us have ever had an allergic reaction. They accomadate my brother's sensitive dairy and beef allergy amazingly, and the pool and hot tub are always warm and enjoyable. The dinner provided at the end of the day (normally Monday through Wednesday) is always extremely good. The staff is amazing, giving coloring books to the young children and mind teasers to the teenagers. I will always continue staying here at this level of service.
