My husband and I came to Charlottesville to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I picked the Dinsmore House Inn because the rooms were all beautiful and different. Not to mention, I’ve never stayed in an Inn before. Our room was incredible. The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee from the Farm Bell Kitchen, which is attached to the Inn. Veda, our Inn Keeper, was lovely and so helpful!. When you stay at Dinsmore, you receive complementary breakfast at the Farm Bell Kitchen. The breakfast there is to die for, and the barista made the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. The Inn is quiet and quaint. It’s perfect for a nice getaway to refresh. We truly had the best time, and I would recommend the Inn and sweet Veda 100 times over. Until next time!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Inn, staying in the Dinsmore Room which was wonderful. Veda and staff were very hospitable and went above and beyond our expectations. We had breakfast both mornings and the food was delicious. I am looking forward to another trip to the Inn in the future. Of course, you must check out the Monticello, Ash Lawn, UVA and so much more history to see in the area. You must meet Wrigley too!

Hospitality was incredible! Veda, the manager, made us feel like family. She even had flowers placed in our room for when we came back from our wedding. The rooms are just lovely, and the brunch each morning was fabulous! Thank you for such an amazing few days!

We loved our stay, the room was beautiful the breakfast (which was delivered to our room), was delicious and the people were very friendly.

Perfect location and everybody was great at the inn and restaurant. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were extremely accommodating for my one year old boy. Will definitely stay there next trip to C’ville.

Beautiful, historic building with great bedrooms very comfortable beds, and great bathrooms in the rooms. Breakfast was awesome… coffee was superb! You do need to pack lightly as the stairs are a bit cumbersome… not bad, just a little hard to get up with heavy luggage.

It was a nice bed and breakfast… but make sure you check quoted price to bill price.

Six Stars! If possible, this is the rating that I would give. Anita was awesome! I planned to propose my girlfriend and told Anita about my plans, and she was beyond helpful. It is the best B&B, hand-down. The breakfast is top-notch — — no need to make breakfast/brunch plans at any other location! We will always remember our stay, and plan to celebrate again there very soon!. Thanks Dinsmore Boutique Inn!

Mimosas were all OJ, skimped on champagne. Ham biscuit minus the ham? No thanks. But most of all, the food code violations. They took food from our tables, that had been sitting in front of us to pick from and then took them to another party. This totally disgusts me. For $40/person for a party event, you would think they could afford sandwiches and scones fresh for other tables or parties. Makes me wonder where my sandwich was before it came to my serving tray. I do not recommend.

Stopped by for a quick mimosa and a beer. Service could not have been better. Will definitely try again.

My husband and I had a babymoon at the Dinsmore and it was AMAZING. Lisa, Anita, and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and cozy, and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best we've had. I would recommend staying at the Dinsmore far and above staying anywhere else in Charlottesville. We'll definitely be back and will be gifting stays at the Dinsmore to family and friends. We can't wait to try the new restaurant that they just opened in the Inn as well!

We ate Brunch this morning at the soft opening of The Farm Bell. Oh my… this isn't your mama's breakfast, this isn't a run of the mill brunch, this isn't anything that you would consider ordinary… it's fabulous! From the quaint, modern, eclectic ambiance to the well thought out menu to the great service, this was an experience we want more of! I can't wait to come back to order a mimosa, or a bloody mary and have them bring the rolling cart to my table! Unforgettable! Well done Ryan and team!

What a perfect stay! As a former Charlottesville resident and a Wahoo, I appreciated the charm and convenience of the Dinsmore. I'm not a B&B person — usually prefer hotels, the Dinsmore was the best of both worlds. The innkeeper, Anita, was lovely — attentive and professional. Was in town for pleasure and business at the University — the location was perfect. I absolutely plan on staying at the Dinsmore again — gorgeous and comfortable. In the future I would like to bring my husband for a car-less weekend — only one mile from the mall. Highly recommend. Be sure to ask about the framed artifacts on the wall — super interesting. Thanks again!

Had tea with a rather large group. It was like a tea should be. Selections of tea, nice (triangles) sandwiches, the scones were SO good, clotted cream, jam, lemon curd, lovely selection of sweets as well. The ladies that waited on us were so pleasant and so accommodating. I look forward to taking my daughters there one day soon! I highly recommend the Dinsmore Inn. I also heard that they will be opening a restaurant soon. I can't wait to try that as well.

Cozy and beautiful historic inn located in the heart of Charlottesville. Great service and incredibly friendly staff. The newly renovated rooms exude Southern elegance. Can't wait to return!

We had a business meeting here and everything was outstanding! The food, the service, the space, perfect! Will definitely recommend and be back for their restaurant opening.

Went for a brunch after a wedding. Drinks and food were delicious. Venue was excellent. Staff was courteous and so on top of it. Highly recommend.
