Friendly workers, clean hotel.

This place does not have a kitchen in any room, their is no pool, hot tub, or fitness area. Ignore the amenities because they're wrong.

Very nice hotel very friendly people and I had to make some changes to my reservation very accommodating.

Stayed in 2 rooms both needed repair and had black caulking around shower and sink nice people far rate but dirty.

On a budget, if you can get a good rate its a good hotel. Breakfast is a plus and the front desk reception is kind. The rooms are spacious and linens are nice a comfortable. Wi-Fi is good, cable can be glitch, but generally no issues with actually sleeping there. What got me was the fact that the main hallways smelled of smoke and the stairwells also had a lingering smoke smell as if someone had just got done smoke a cigarette. The carpet in the rooms could be replaced as some of the edge work was starting to fray or separate from the walls and thresholds. For a budget hotel, it's what you would expect I suppose. Other than that, the room service does their best to make it look nice.

The room was very comfortable with the amenities I needed for a 1-night guest. I checked in at 3:30am, and though I know that at that hour, no one wants to be happy and chipper, but the check-in staff left much to be desired. That being said, it was a great night sleep with strong AC and fresh linens. You can't ask for more.

Please disregard the one star, it doesn’t even deserve that. This place should be shut down. We get into the room and we’re overwhelemed with the smell of mold. It didn’t take long to realize the entire carpet was soaking wet from wall to wall. We approached a staff memeber and she had this “what do you want me to do about it” attitude refused to even attempt to help us get a refund so we could go get a last minute room. Thank god the manager showed up just as we were about to leave and she helped us get a refund. However even she had the nerve to say “ah that must be the room the leaks going to” first of all that floor was too wet to of just gotten like that. Second not only were they willing to stick me and my PREGNANT girlfriend in there. They had to of been sticking people in there prior to us. Then on the weekend the nhra race was in Richmond every single hotel in the area was booked. We didn’t find a hotel until midnight. The only thing available were five star hotels so we ended up spending twice the amount for a room. But hey at least our feet weren’t submerged in water while breathing in mold. Thanks sleep in.

Love it! And I will never forget, my boyfriend ask me to marry him! It's was beautiful all the flowers tha he put in the room! I say YES!

It was good, decent breakfast, minor issues but other then that enjoyed my stay.

It's a prety good place to stay after a long day on the road. Easy to acces fair price in a safe area.

Very nice hotel… This hotel is located in South Carolina. Its about a 15 minute drive from Charlotte NC. Lots of restaurants and shopping strips. Nice area!

Stayed at sleep Inn in Richmond VA usually have good luck with these this one very old dirty. Cigarette burns in bedding and carpet ripped, bathroom terrible. Bed was comfortable and it was cheap.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and had a freshly cleaned smell. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing 5stars for the staff friendlyness and curticy, but sadly that was the only redeeming quality of this inn. Funky old carpet smell throughout. Basic cable and free Wi-Fi are literally the only amenities worth listing. They should have to pay you to eat there free hot breakfast (yes it is that bad). On top of that this is a terribly run down area with no food delivery, and the food within walking distance isn't even worth the walk.

The room looked nice and comfortable but the trash was not taken out and old soap bars were on the top of the shower rail. This made me wonder if the bed head been stripped and the room cleaned.

Price is decent for what you get but I wasn't too pleased about the permanent stains in the toilet. Also, the hotel has a very "heavy" smell. It doesn't smell too bad but it doesn't smell clean either, and that's with a no smoking room. They need to air the place out and change the carpet. Staff is friendly enough. There are a couple of restaurants and fast food joints near this hotel. McDonalds is across the street.

It seemed fine. I was just meeting my parents there.

When I original made the reservation I made the note that I would be arriving early to the hotel and check in early. I had to wait an hour to check in. Then, I official checked in and the room was supposed to be non-smoking room, but the smoke smell lingered throughout. The mini-fridge was frozen up and not working, Toilet made lot noise when flushing, Carpet had couple stains, at least the bathroom was clean, and the arm on the chair in the room was broken. The front desk said to not worry about the chair to continue to use it. I was told the front desk I needed a mini fridge because I had lunch meat to keep cold. My meat spoiled and had to trash. Front desk could not switch me to another room claiming they were sold out. Thank God I didn't have more food to keep cold. Then, the cherry to top the cake on this stay was the shooting that happen down the hall from my room around 4 am. Blood was in the hallway and the elevator. I know its not the hotel's fault for the shooting but definitely made the stay worst. I didn't even receive an apology until I checked out Sunday Morning. I definitely would not recommend this hotel or stay again.

Expressly what I needed when I needed it. Which was a decent room for a decent rate on short notice. Breakfast was great, waffle iron for the win!

Heather and her staff are GREAT, the hospitality they show is excellent. Rooms are comfortable & very super clean. BREAKFAST is free … juice eggs, sausages. Bagels, toasts, make your own waffle, cold cereal, oatmeal, coffee, what more could ask for, housekeeping staff great Most IMPORTANT, front desk staff, those young ladies are FAMILY… thank you much LOVE.

Elevator broke. Person checking us in tell us she had no clue elevator was broke and there were people coming up and down the stairs. We are traveling with our dog and had to go up three flights of stairs with our luggage and dog. Never offered to put us in a room closer to the first floor since we have to go back out and walk her. Also she failed to give me a receipt after I paid her.

Very clean and awesome customer service… not expensive either.

Solid place to stay for a few nights. Friendly staff full of smiles! And lots of things close by as far as food and convenience.

Loved the stay and the staff was so helpful and courteous! The first room they put us in the A/C was not working well and it was very hot. As soon as I told them about it they went out there way to bring me a key to a different room and that room was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very good customer service and lodging for an affordable price. Quiet area and functional equipment. Hotel has neither a gym nor a pool but overall, still provides a wonderful experience.

The room was clean and comfortable, fit within a dated space. The breakfast left something to be desired as the only "hot" element was sausage.

Our stay at the Sleep Inn on Parham Rd in Richmond, VA this week was very pleasant. We've stayed here before and have always found the staff to be helpful and sometimes pretty amusing and playful. The rooms were clean and quiet and included a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. We originally chose the hotel for its convenient location, and we keep having good experiences staying there.

I booked my room online through Orbitz, and about an hour later (11pm) arrived at the hotel. The first woman at the front desk couldn't find the reservation in their system, so she told me to wait and that it should go through any minute. After about 15 minutes of listening to her complain to a co-worker, in rather foul language, about how she was going to quit if they kept "making all these **** changes, " I decided to ask if it had gone through. Nothing. So I called Orbitz. They called the hotel. Everything is supposedly sorted out. Wrong. She finally finds my reservation (which had been there THE WHOLE TIME) but takes issue with the addresses being different on the reservation and my ID. It had Orbitz's HQ as my address, and apparently someone had already checked into my room (which was because I had already PAID for the room. ) This ordeal takes another 30-45mins. So a bit after midnight, I finally get my room, which was adequate but anything would've been at that point as I was exhausted. Honestly, no issues with the room, but the staff was rude and inept.

Good stay, good deal. And there are absolutely no bed bugs in this hotel or ANY of the Choice hotels I've stayed at more times than I can count over the last 14 years. Frankly, I don't believe the reviewer who posted that remark. I've been Elite Diamond for almost my whole 14 years of travelling for work and staying in Choice hotels, which means I stay in these hotels a LOT! If they weren't a good deal, I'd stay somewhere else. (I even stay at a Choice hotel at the beach every July. ) Oh yeah, and for this one, there's a good Italian restaurant within easy walking distance across the Food Lion parking lot. It was recommended to me by the front desk lady. That was a good recommendation! Man, that owner/chef can cook! It's called Bella Luna. Yum Yum!

Its clean and the staff is very welcoming. My room had a microwave and a Frigidaire and they were in good shape. I would recamend them to anyone that want a nice hotel stay for a nice rate.

Clean, affordable and exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were very nice, recently renovated. Liked the decor. And thought the breakfast was pretty good.
