Mold in all of the bathroom. Gross spots on the curtains, walls, doors, lamp shades. I requested a different room and they won't allow that. There is no daily cleaning person and if you request one they will tell you the cleaning person will be there but they don't come. Sketchy people walk by and look in cars and ask you for change or cigarettes. No security. There is also a random occasional person in the hallway on a computer Front desk is rude and will blow you off to your face or hang up on you if you call. Phone in room doesn't work either. Faucet in tub constantly runs, not dripping but running. Wi-Fi goes in and out.

I traveled to VA with 4 children and ended up with a flat tire in Richmond VA. I found Knights Inn and thought it was a nice hotel from the outside but once in the room it was a different story. They first put me into a smoking room after telling them I didn't want a smoking room. The smell of cigarettes was unbearable. I went and let the front desk know there is no way I'm allowing my kids to stay in that room and asked for my money back. They denied my request and stated they had another room I could try. Once in the room it smelt of mold and mildew and to top it off had dead roaches in the floor. I was in the room for 5 min before going and complaining and asking for my money back. They denied to pay me back the $65 I had just given them. When I became upset on how I was being treated with disrespect they threatened to call the police on me. I have never been treated so badly. Lets just say I left and I hope no one else ever has to be treated that way.

The location is okay right by the interstate but you have to make numerous uturns to get to food and and back to the hotel. They say they have breakfast all you get is toast and expired milk for your cereal. They don't speak to you the floors have new carpets but are filthy. It's not really handicap accessible. And my view was the dog hospital so you hear barking and more. But the bed was comfortable and it had good channels and the air worked good.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Knights Inn on May 25th. The first thing I wanted to point out there was a sign: "You may look at the room before purchasing it. " Even though was a sign it was not offer to us. Our room 2207 was completely nasty. The key would not open the door. The bed spreads looked like blood was on them. So there were times we were stuck in the room from the inside. For us to suppose to have a good time. We did not feel safe in the room at all. Woke up Friday morning with people sleeping in the hallway of hotels. This place is completely nasty would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. *No refunds but I do think if our safety was at risk we should get some money back.

Awesome, clean, refurbished, repainted, new flooring hardwood look, clean, soft beds and pillows, look new, nice flat screens, desks in rooms, huge bathroom area, do not let the size of hotel fool you from roadway, this is a nice place to stay for the rate, we paid 20.00 a night extra for my small dog, their are smoking, and non smoking rooms, the rooms and area feel very safe. I am glad we chose this room so we can back our truck up right in front of door, and not have to worry about it.

ROOM 1202 — 2 STARS FOR REFUND — Our room smelt like FISH/CRAB. It was horrible! I go into the bathroom and there was NO shower curtain. It took her 20mins just to bring it up. We finally go to sleep and about a hour in I woke up to TWO bed bugs crawling around on my pillow where my head and son’s head lay! I definitely took pictures. Called the front desk and he came to “check it out” by using a flashlight on his phone and lifting up the fitted sheet less than halfway, NOT a decent check at all. We started packing up our things. He offered us another room, we declined. He gave us our money back.

Beware if you stay here… check your linens on your bed because they do believe in leaving dirty sheets from the previous customers. I not only stayed at this hotel for awhile but also did housekeeping for a little while. I've seen where they'll have rooms that have bed bugs and try to clean it up and rent it out the same day untreated. The manager running this place walks around all day looking for prostitutes to hook up with. You get what you pay for at this hotel. Other then the M anager Bobby the rest of the staff there is pleasant.

The lady at the front desk was super friendly. The check in time may have been processed a little bit faster as they had to wait for a list of room numbers available in clean. But the low cost of a facility is certainly balanced with less Staffing and therefore I got exactly what I expected. I do want to Central my five star rating Bay Storm their understanding it willingness to provide me a one-time refund because I was on the wrong side of the river.

Man, this place was great. Smelled of smoke, weird parking, and constant groaning coming from every door in the hotel. I can only assume that the groaning sound was some kind of new security feature and every room wasn't grinding up the hookers we saw outside the hotel. 10/10, thanks for making me feel safe.

No hot water, an old pop-tart was in the nightstand, 3 lamps had no light bulbs, the breakfast bar was cold cereal, coffee and bread, they had the room checked off as clean however they did not clean it. When I went to the desk to get towels and linens. They handed me 1 washcloth and 1 towel and said we don't have anymore. They have 1 star because they don't have a system to do negative stars.

My stay was $54 and I got exactly what I paid for. No amenities (shampoo, conditioner, coffee maker, extra sheets, ect) like a regular hotel would have of course. I expected a breakfast with at least a few options but all the had was toast and Rice crispy’s and for a drink OJ and coffee. What made me give them three stars and not one was the hospitality! They were friendly, helpful, and the house keeping came every morning and did a great job cleaning. I will say do not get a smoking room. It skinks in that building, it’s not as clean, and it was a tad scary not being in the main building with all the cameras and people.

Quiet, clean, fair price. A little old but they are improving. Friendly staff!

Bed bugs! beware. Our family stayed one night passing through to north carolina and were itchy all night. The next two days we discovered bites on our legs and hands and our son got lice. Sink would not drain. Bed sheets felt sandpaper. Do not use this place.

Never staying here again! I found 5 bed bugs in the hotel room! and put them in a cup so they could see! they didnt do anything! at all they offered 10 $ off! and they started to get mad when we should be the ones bad me and my fiancé got bit all over! very disgusted with the room the bathroom wouldnt even flush.

I made a reservation for 5 people about 2 weeks before my stay. I get there to check in and they don't allow more than 4 people in a room even though I reserved it for 5 people. Also, apparently they don't have suites, even though I stayed in one prior with 6 people in it. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely will not ever attempt to stay here again.

This hotel was very reasonable in price, however it wasn't the cleanest. Could use better house keeping…

The price is low, but cleanliness is bad. The bathroom was dirty, I had to buy a bottle of bleach and sanitize the tub and the walls because was mold and mildew on the tiles. The ironboard cover was dirty, with stains, I found debris on carpet.

They have BED BUG! and didn't want to give a refund, didn't care about the bed bugs either … was put into another room and the heat didn't cut on. Holes in the covers blood stains on the lamp shade… worst place ever… never going back and you shouldn't spend your money there either … they should be shut down.

The rooms or dirty from the radiator to the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom stains on the chairs staff not at all friendly. Payless and go to a Motel 6 or somewhere else that gives you your benefit for the budget price.

The rooms are very ordinary and the cleanliness is basic.

This place is not pet friendly. It's a cheap hotel, continental breakfast is extremely overhyped. They have good Wi-Fi, I can give them that. No extra pillows.

Gross, room smelled, was dirty, they wouldn't move me to another room. Rude. Never again. They don't even deserve a star.

This place was horrible! I have bed bug bites all over my arms and legs! The first room had roaches and they didn’t clean the bathroom. They’re very rude and even went as far as to blame me for the bite marks! Please avoid this place at all costs! The continental breakfast consists of Rice Krispies and toast! Not a good place to stay!

Decent room for two nights, even though they said my card “declined” (had to use atm and pay 3 dollar fee) bathroom was cleaned, TV and heat/air worked, bed clean and comfortable, all plugs and lights work. Only thing we didnt have is a iron but besides that I am satisfied. Will be coming here again! also staff was nice. Ps: Havent seen not one bug of ANY sort, I was so skeptical because of the other reviews! my visit was the total opposite.

For $50 a night, what can you really ask for? I wished the curtain closed completely and the bathroom door wasn't broken. Also the shower water varied from hellishly hot to 1st degree burn hot. Not much for warm water.

I used to stay here close to every weekend with my boyfriend last year I would always bring my own pillow sometimes A blanket thats when the bed bug bites started happening. I hadnt stayed here for months until last weekend. I brought yet another pillow with me and now I am covered in bites AGAIN… I had to trash the whole pillow. ☠im over it. I will never stay here again. Save your money. They write you card info on a piece of paper that anyone can see. So unsafe. It has potential. Needs work, cleaner rooms, an exterminator and clean ac units.

Do not stay here. The front desk receptionist is racist, rude and unprofessional. They do not like black people. They charge black people more. If you stay, book online instead of walking in. They only give rooms to people they wanna give rooms to. Do not support this business.

Quiet, nice, tidy place.

They have Good Deal and They have good people working inside. In Actually They are Very bad Now I Called them within Couple days I asked about if I Can get a room with Same Past Deal as every time There's someone answer me he was look like a stubbed man He Can't speaks with me I tried to explain to him I'm original Customer but he was answer with Same the Wards all times and he says the Weekly rental is $450 that's very Crazy they drive me to be angry. (Don't Comeback to this place anymore it's so prices. )

The Wi-Fi was really good. That's literally the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. The room smelled like it had water damage. The AC unit had broken fixtures and cobwebs. The furniture had stains. There were hairs throughout the bathroom. The "ice bucket" was a mouldy popcorn container from Cinemark. The welcome mat was from 7/11. The security doors into the building we're broken. I wouldn't stay here again.

Employee ignored me when I was late for breakfast and asked if I could grab a cup of orange juice. He just told me that it was closed and not another word. Terrible guest service relations! Just wanted some OJ and all I got was a cold shoulder. Also we were on the second floor which was very warm and there was no cold water available, just hot and less hot.

Stayed on a Tuesday night. $55 included taxes. Room was very up to date and nice. Beds were good. Remote didn't work but that didn't bother me. Only improvement I could see is better cleaning in the bathroom. Some scrubbing bubbles would do wonders. Over all well worth the price.

I love it so much and my family had a good room. I would love to come back to. Baymont inn.

This place it terrible. If I could give negative stars I would. My husband stayed here last weekend and every day he would leave the hotel, and when he came back they gave away his room. Thank goodness he had his stuff with him, cause had he left it in his room… it would have been gone. The second time this happened they assured him they took care of it and his room was fine. But no, it had been given away again. No compensation for the hassle, nothing. The rooms were bare, they had no conditioner or other toiletries for their patrons, which was needed in this case especially since they took his when the reassigned his room. Additionally, the pool was not open or in use. Do not stay here. What a nightmare.

Worst place we have ever stayed in… we came here because of the pool and work out facility which we were told was both open and working properly, none of which was true. the stairway doors were propped open with washcloths and other linen. back exit/entrance door was off the hinges … the halls looked as though they were never cleaned. the staff was the most unfriendly/unhelpful staff I have ever came across When you first walk into building it looks clean and welcoming but once you get past that point its nasty and unclean. You need to carry hand sanitizer with you at all times. Needles to say the only good thing to say about our stay was the coffee down stairs. I would not recommend this place to anyone traveling in Richmond, Va… and if you do PLEASE do a walk through before renting room…

My stay at the Baymont Inn in Richmond Virginia was very unpleasant. In the lobby, everything was crooked and relatively unattractive. The first room I was placed in was in terrible shape. The bathroom was dirty (there even appeared to be what looked like other light mud or dried blood on the door), the carpet wasn't properly swept (especially under the bed), and the sliding closet door appeared to be kicked in. Plus when I tried to open the window, the moving section fell completely off the frame and onto my arms. However the bed was made, which leaves me to wonder what kind of staff would make the bed but leave the rest of the room untouched and keep their jobs. The second room I was in was better, but not by much. The window didn't fall on me but I had to prop it open with a book. The floor was cleaner, except for underneath the bed, however everything was dusty and the tub in the bathroom was stained and dirty. I got extremely itchy laying on the bed, and later found pubic hairs on the blankets. Again the bed was made, so the cleaning staff was in there but didn't appear to change the bedding, but simply remake the bed. I received more bedding when asked, but it sill made me itchy so I spent the night in my sleeping bag on the floor. The only two things I can say about the Baymont Inn and Suites, are that it wasn't infested with bedbugs, and the coffee was decent despite the fact that the coffee-maker was in the bathroom (seriously, whats up with that? ).

Let's just start off saying the pictures on this website for this location is very much misleading. I have stayed a lot of these hotels and had very nice experiences. The Richmond, VA Broad street location had to be the worst experience I had to have ever had for this level of hotel. Once I walked inside I wanted to turn around and leave. VERY OLD and dated inside. The employees looked as if they just walked off the street and were given the keys. I was afraid to go into the rooms. The furniture looked like they made a porn movie and could not get the sex stains out, the TV only got local channels no premium channels, the bathroom had blood stains in it, my husband thought someone was murdered in it. And to make matters worse two people walked into our room while we were in it. The the front desk person came to our room and asked if we were suppose to be there, I was like how would I have gotten a key if I did not pay before coming in. Check out time is suppose to be 11 am, housekeeping walked in on us at 7am in the morning telling us it was time to leave they had to clean the room. I complained upon checkout and the girl just looked at me like I was the crazy one. I would strongly suggest not staying at this location. There are much better hotels in the Shortpump area of VA. Clean up your location and paint.
