Hotel was at capacity Friday night. Much more enjoyable Saturday, with fewer guests. Clean rooms. Breakfast was fresh. A bit understaffed. There was a line waiting to checkout. Really needs an elevator for disabled guests or suites available on the first floor.

This place was absolutely horrible! They charged our card twice to start with and tried to say they didn't before even checking if they did. Then the next morning we were woken up several times by housekeeping knocking, I believe starting at 8 or 9. They were waking us up to ask if we were leaving so they could clean our room. Check out wasn't until 11! I didn't answer a couple times because I was confused and thought maybe it was kids knocking on our door. But when I answered that's I was asked. No good morning… just 'are you leaving so we can clean'? I was furious. Then as we were getting ready housekeeping opened our door! It wasn't even 11 yet either. My husband called and told the front desk man not to have anyone come to our door then the harassment stopped. We have never ever had an experience like this. It was just super weird. We only stayed one night.

Visually the hotel looks nice, however our room had an extremely musty smell and the sheets were very moist. Getting into the bed felt like you were lying in sweat. Our room was supposed to have a refrigerator and it had none and the complimentary breakfast was essentially out of most food by 9:30 and not restocked. We found from another guest that they were originally staying in our room, but had complained about the smell and this moved. Meanwhile the hotel still went ahead and gave the room to us. There was not much good to say about our stay.

Don't stay here if you can help it. You're probably better off at the "budget inn" 10 minutes down the road. You'll have the same experience for a fraction of the price.

We booked a room online after a long day of fishing in the bay. Staff were very unprofessional and poorly dressed. Our room keys were handed over and after lugging everything upstairs we opened the door to find a hot room with unmade beds and the TV blaring. When the staff were approached no one seemed to be able to answer why people were in our room. Two children walked by and laughed at us as if to say that's our room. I can honestly say this was. A very awkward experience. Thumbs down.

Very accommodating, attentive and great prices. Location right off the highway. Very comfortable room with a double bed. Allows dogs for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend this place even for just a quick overnight.

Wow, it was hard to believe this establishment could use the Quality Inn name! We came through from SC to NY, and needed a place to stay with our two small dogs. We made the reservation while driving through VA, and arrived just before dark. Having paid in advance (about $78, I was told), we had no recourse but to stay. The desk clerk was “creepy” and was lurking nearby as I unloaded our luggage. The room smelled musky. There was a cockroach in the tub. Running around. We fled early in the morning, not even looking at the breakfast room. When I checked out, $30 was added for the two dogs. Wish that fee had been mentioned when I called for the reservation! Of course, it was listed in small print on the registration form — you know, the one you never read, because you were directed to “initial here, here, and here, and sign on the bottom. ” Read the fine print. What a nightmare!

The staff was fantastic. Looks like owner renovated the property. I was so tired from travailing need to get sleep. The beds were comfortable and clean and well organized. Towel was very soft. Breakfast was good too. Keep it up! Thanks.

This hotel was a life saver when others couldn't figure out what was going on. We had not seen it on our Hotel's list. Fortunately when we left the Hampton Inn, I was able to call the hotel. The room was very affordable. Super Clean and comforting. The staff was so friendly, it was amazing. Will stay there again for sure.

Awful. Staff is very unprofessional. Rooms have sheets and towels with stains. No cribs available even though site says they do. Toilet has rust and water stains. Just awful!

There is really nothing wrong with this hotel, all of the other reviews are from previlidged people about picky things that cannot be helped. Bugs? That's not their fault. Seriously? You're going to leave a bad review for that? I enjoyed my stay very much, and I will definately be coming back. I love this place. People are very nice and breakfast was fresh.

This hostel is no good, found these bed bug in the pillow case, talk to the manager and couldn't get a refund back. Smh. Dont stay.

This hotel is rated a 2 for a reason. Disgusting. Moldy. Dirty. Crumbs on the floor. Mildew on the shower curtain. Walls peeling. Bathroom was not clean. NASTY! Nasty! Nasty! We booked out of Desperation. Lord knows what bugs are living this hotel. And it smelled. What a disgrace.

We had a very pleasant stay. Virginia, the woman who was working at their breakfast area was the sweetest. The people at the front desk were helpful. BUT… I DID NOT like that they had fox news only playing in their dining area. When I asked if they can change it they said they don't have a remote. Grrmmph. Ps. I pulled in on a Sat night of Labor Day weekend and got a nice room for a great price. Was not expecting that.

The room was comfortable but dirty. We called the front desk and they sent someone to clean but she didn't do more than run a rag over the toilet and pick up a used shower cap left there. There were hairs left all over our bathroom it was disgusting. Not happy about that. The price was okay being we were traveling so it served it's purpose for the night.

On my way to virginia beach boardwalk, we stopped by this hotel because my family was exhausted. To our surprising, this hotel is pretty decent. It was clean, they provide free breakfast, and the price for a room was very reasonable. Also, the staff at the front desk were very helpful. Satisfied customer!

Got what was probably the only hotel room still available in the Virginia part of the DELMARVA peninsula on a Saturday night in July, and after reading the reviews I was somewhat worried. Boy, where the reviews wrong! Our room was very clean, shower pressure was great, and the AC was cranking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The ''free" (nothing is REALLY free) breakfast was much more than sufficient. The pool was clean and refreshing. And the price couldn't be beat — $110 with all taxes and fees included. Location was phenomenal for all that the Exmore area had to offer. Don't be afraid to visit here — our stay was fantastic!

So to start off when we first came here we waited for about 10 minutes at the reception desk just to check meanwhile the receptionist there continues to take more and more calls completely ignoring us. Now fast forward to a few minutes later after we finally check in and get to our room. After only 5 minutes it was immediately realized that no such action to clean the room thoroughly was taken. I found old food throughout the carpet and an empty whisky bottle next to the Bible. Maybe they just forgot to vacuum no big deal but at that time little did we know that this would just be the start of our issues with the cleaning staff. The next day while we were out they had cleaned the room and replaced the linens and such but once again the same gummy that was stuck to the floor and all the dead bugs remained on the floor. Obvious to which they had failed to vacuum again. It had been a long and tiring day so we head to sleep right after that and decide to wait til tomorrow to say anything. Well tomorrow came and we were awoken rather rude and unexpectedly. It was about 8am and the man from the cleaning staff decided to open the door without knocking first. To which I was still completely nude except for the one sheet I was covered up with. This was probably the most infuriating part for me. And so after he closed the door behind him they knocked which I had gotten up and gotten dressed to answer the door.

Despite other negative reviews, my family and I had a great stay. I chose the Quality Inn & Suites for the price and central location on the Eastern Shore. My family and I stayed for three nights. The continental breakfest was good and filling. We used the pool at night after swimming at area beaches. We were able to wash our clothing daily at the hotels mini laundromat. The ice machines filled our coolers which in return my kids got to use the money on the snack machine. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We do pack our own blankets and pillows do to wanting the additional comfort, but the hotel supplied pillows and linens seemed clean. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and will return again in 2018.

2 stories without elevator! Not sure if sheets are cleaned properly but all 3 of us ended up scratching ourselves the entire night. Felt like something was crawling all over us even though we couldn't see anything. No box tissue, no hairdryer. Don't look too close at the renovation details. Rowdy guests noisy all night. Good price so can't really complain too much. Everything else was sold out.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I stayed for 6 nights before moving to another hotel. This hotel is dirty, my room sheets were not changed, the floors were not vacuumed. It took a day and half to fix a running toilet. After working a full day and coming back to my room, I found it the exact condition as it was at 6 am. No trash removed, bath towels still sitting on the counter were I leave them for change out. The towels and wash cloths are stained also. Don't stay here!

Provides sleeping services and Continental breakfast, exactly what I expected out of this hotel.

I wish there was some light outside in the back lot for when I'm taking my dog out. The room is decent, it looks like they are still doing some construction in the rooms but are willing to correct anything that they can for you. The customer service was great! The breakfast in the morning was good. I would probably stay here again if I'm ever around the area again.

I liked my overnight stay here in spite of the fact that the place presents a rather bizaare spectacle; It's under construction in a piecemeal, haphazard way, with only a few rooms in functional condition. Ours had missing light bulbs in brand new fixtures, no towels, missing fridge, ancient carpet, brand new mattresses and bedding, decrepit furniture along with brand new. Outside our window, the pool had green water in it. Seems like the building was abandoned for a while and now the new owner is renovating. Or something. The front of the property was immaculately manicured; the back had a small amount of garbage strewn about. Still, rear yard was nice, even with rotted, broken down picnic tables. Basically, you've got to pick your way around the construction. At first, I was appalled and almost declined the room. This place is not for the particular. But, Boy, the staff are GREAT, the room was clean despite its funkiness, the beds were really nice, the room very quiet, and the breakfast was good. Price was great too. I wish them luck with their renovations. I would stay here again!

No microwave or refrigerator in room or no gym not the typical experience you get from best western.

Clean room. Friendly front desk staff. Pool is stained but properly chlorinated. No refrigerator in room.
