First time at this inn its ok great location customer service is good but the rooms r old and u can tell need a update ive stayed in better.

Moldy shower, broken ice machines, empty soda machines, overflowing trash cans outside, unhelpful corporate customer service.

Done no comments plus no pool.

First time here. Excellent hotel.

Room was ok, clean, not spacious. Bathroom clwan, front desk nice, easy check in
pool was fabulous. Restaurant food was ok, they didnt have half of what was on the menu. But the chef was accommodating, and the waitress/bartender nice. Drinks were great!

The room was dirty when we checked in, they "recleaned" it while we were out, but all it looked like they did was vaccum. (Which was my primary concern due to there being a used dip pouch in the floor that I stepped on. But there was also a cupcake wrapper in the bathroom). I asked for a hair dryer upon check-in was told she'd being one right away to my room, never received it. The overall room just was not Hilton standards. The thermostat never turned itself off when the room got to temperature so we had to keep getting up to turn it on or off. The best part of the room was the blackout curtain. We ended up checking out at midnight on our second night to come home because we were so sick of getting up every 10mins to have a "comfortable" temperature room. Highly disappointed, we will not be back!

The most unbelievable excuse of a hotel I have EVER dealt with… we booked a room for Thursday to Saturday night, drive 6.5 hours with 2 small children only to get there at 230 am and find out that “some pipes broke and ruined 3 rooms”. I know things happen, but even so they STILL charged me for the stay and we’ve been fighting them all day to get the money back that should have never been taken from my account until CHECKOUT.

My wife and I had an issue with our room upon check in. When I was making my way to the front desk to resolve the issue, Diane (The Housekeeping Coordinator) asked me how I liked the room. When I explained my concern and she quickly resolved the issue by getting us another room. I appreciate the time she took to make sure we were satisfied! Great Customer Service!

There was a small mix up with the room but the front desk staff ensured that I was comfortable and enjoyed the rest of my stay. Housekeeping was awesome, Ms Barbara did an amazing job! I will be back!

Check in was great and staff was helpful. The hotel ran out of forks and coffee cups at breakfast. We had our "do not disturb" sign out when housekeeping came around so they left a bag with towels and toiletries in it, which was unexpected and nice. Rooms were clean.

Our suite was perfect. The boys had their own bedroom and bath and we had a king bed and a huge bathroom with a nice jetted tub. I would definitely book again. Customer service was excellent. They even let the boys swim after 10pm which made their day as we got to the hotel late!

The rooms were clean and the service friendly. The continental breakfast was limited with no hot items except coffee. If you wanted eggs, bacon or omelet you had to pay an additional charge. Holiday Inn or Embassy Suites has the ideal continental breakfast if you use that as a discrimiator when choosing a hotel. Finally, housekeeping failed to provide any hand/bath towels twice during my 5 day stay.

My wife and I stayed the weekend here via an advanced purchase online. There was some confusion about this and we ended up being double charged for the room, which was a headache throughout the stay wondering if we would get our money back. Sharon Browne of GSA provided us top notch service and helped in getting everything sorted out. Accordingly, I'd recommend avoiding the advanced purchase to save the headache. Thankfully, we were refunded within a few days. There is a nice lobby with free water and cookies. The pool is much smaller than expected, but is indoor for year round use. Breakfast costs extra if you want it included in your stay, which was almost a deal breaker. Regarding the room, it was fairly industry standard compared to other comparable hotels and did the job just fine.

Wasn't the worse but you would expect a lot better for the price. Rooms are in desperate need of major renovation all the way around. (Bathrooms, furniture, tv, lighting, etc you name it) Bed was good. Location is nice. I would not stay at again.

I had such an amazing experience. John Bain, operations manager truly went above and beyond to meet all of my accommodations. Well done.

Failed to clean room one day for no reason at all. Room next door left open from late afternoon to the next day, looked as if they started to clean it and just walked away. Reported a light issue three times, never got fixed or told why it couldn't be. Not expecting much from a hotel but basic cleaning and correcting minor service issues should not be a hard bar to meet for ANY hotel. I did mention this all to front desk. Hope they do better.

First I would like to say I have been a Hilton’s Honor member for a while and I am a silver member. I am fully aware of the reservation process for the Hilton honors site. Well I booked a trip over a week in advance through the site and was given an option during booking to get a lower rate and I took that option. The stipulation for that reservation was it had to be paid for in full at the time of booking so I agreed and paid for that room. Upon arrival I was asked for my card used to book the reservation I gave the card to check in person she stated my card declined. I immediately said I already purchased this room. So after pulling up my Hilton honors account and well Fargo account information showing that it was paid for the Front desk employee finally said it was fine after all of that since I had proof. So now it’s the next morning about 8 am. I hear a knock didn’t understand why since I had my DO NOT DISTURB sign up. I get up to find someone pushing a note underneath the door. It stayed that I need to handle my room balance due to insufficient funds. Now I’m up earlier than expected to handle something that was paid for over a week ago. Now I’m call front desk, she still saying I owe. I next called Hilton honors to confirm my advance payment. Which was confirmed and I asked her to inform the hotel too she clicked over call them and disconnected the call.

Have been trying for weeks to get this hotel to refund a charge to my card. They were paid by Priceline and also charged my CC for the room. I have called the property 7 times, and promised by a manager "Drew" that it would take 2 business days for the charges to go through… that was weeks ago. I have sent countless emails to Hilton Corporate to no avail… and referd to Harpreet Bharij who told me he would follow this through with the property and they sent me a $0.00 balance final statement. I have again emailed this person and he is not responding. It's almost like this property is running some kind of scam as the person checking out in front of me was also having problems and like myself told that this would be taken care of later that day.

This place is a home away from home. The staff is super friendly and if something is not right they will do whatever it takes to make it right. The room I stayed in was much bigger than I anticipated and it even had a whirlpool. It was very relaxing. There are many places to eat close by the hotel, even a movie theater only a block away. Whenever I am in town for business, this where I stay, guaranteed.

Customer service was really nice. Only stayed one night, not a big fan of the shower/water pressure in my room. Overall the room was nice. Spacious and plenty of room for me and my family to stay the night.

I don't want to bash an entire chain for the actions of one location so I will say that I've encountered the absolute worse customer service experience specifically with Hilton Garden — Inn Chesapeake. After months of requesting to finalize booking arrangements, their sales manager, Sarah Davidson, not only failed to honor a proposal for a group block, she failed to honor the actual contract that was signed. After I pressed her about how the “updated” contract did not represent what we had agreed to, she accused me of being difficult and wanting something for FREE. The initial proposal that they presented to me clearly shows that breakfast was included with the guest rooms. She later presented me with a contract that had removed breakfast. My question is, how can I be “trying” to get something for free when it was initially offered to me. I left messages and sent emails to her GM, Dru Tripathi, with no response. I also filed a claim with Hilton Corporate Headquarters and they just apologized on the hotel’s behalf, “Please accept our sincerest apologies for any aggravation or inconvenience you experienced”. Fortunately, I’ve been able to book the event at a much more accommodating hotel so, at this point, I want nothing from Hilton Garden Inn. I just think that their dishonesty should be exposed. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Comfortable bed, free coffee, free Wi-Fi, and in a good location. I had a great stay here.

The facility is pretty good, but the staff deserves 10 stars. Easily the most kind and thoughtful folks I've ever dealt with at a hotel.

The person at the desk, Kyle, was nice and made sure everyone setting up for the baby shower was taken care of. They seemed a little behind in preparing the room on time, but the workers were fast and very nice.

Stay here quit often and Kyle is the best. He has helped me each time. Awesome employee!

Location is close by a number of restraunts and shopping areas. Rooms are a little dated, but extremely clean. Service is outstanding.

Overall okay but was not fully up to Hilton standards. The pillows were awful and they didn't have any other options and the shower had very low flow which made it difficult to rinse off soap and shampoo/conditioner. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

Wonderful staff. I was there for a work meeting and was very impressed with how clean and comfortable it was. The lunch provided was delicious.

Clean, convient, and a super friendly, efficient staff. I have to give them five stars for the five star service.

The room was tidy and kept but there was no phone in the room which made it difficult to call the desk and ask for a crib for my baby. I had to ask 3 times. Then there was this awful sound all night, I never did figure out what it was. I first thought it was the elevator, then a cart rolling down the hall. My daughter said it was relaxing but it drove me nuts. Breakfast was overpriced for what you get. The pool was clean and a good temperature on the plus side.

This hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and the air conditioning was very cold! The breakfast was good. I recommend this as I stayed here for a business trip.

I chose the King bed room with the whirlpool tub for the sole purpose of having the tub. First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the the damn thing was falling apart. The side panels on both sides weren't even attached so you could see the exposed piping underneath. Tried to switch rooms but there was nothing available so I had to stick it out. There's paint chipping off in every corner of the room and in the bathroom sink. Horrible room. The bed was soft, that's it. If they give you a key for room 326, give it back to them.

Got a corner room, so expected it to be quieter. It was not. This hotel is in a busy area, and there's an odd turnaround coming from one direction to get to it. The positive side is that there are plenty of good restaurants and amenities within walking distance.

Everything about the stay was great. And the breafast was delicious with lots of good options. The room had a good look and feel to it as well.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Very acomondating. There are changes in policy that are not so good. I used to stay there every other month for 1 to 2 weeks at a time so I know what was done in the past. Now there is NO coffee available in the lobby after the breakfast hours. Also I used to get coupons for breakfast because of 3M's affiliation with Hilton. Now NO coupons. I understand money saving movements but this, in my opinion is not good.

Been staying here almost monthly since they opened a dozen or so years ago. Staff — all the staff — has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and always clean. I stay here because I'm visiting family, who have come to know well the staff and the pool and hot tub.

Stayed here April 26 — 29, 2017. Excellent Service — Lori Santiago and her staff are the best! Rooms are very clean. Staff was extremely attentive. Food was outstanding. Can not say enough about this hotel. Just spent 3 nights there with a group, we had 15 + rooms and everyone was very happy. They had nothing but great things to say about everything the hotel had to offer. Breakfast cook was the best, she handle our group of 36 people every morning plus other hotel guest without making us wait for long periods of time. One of my best hotel stays ever.

Check-in was fast, staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was neat and well appointed. The fridge didn't get very cold, but it wasn't a problem for a one night stay.

Hilton Garden, is a beautiful hotel, with polite attentive service. The rooms are large and spacious. The hotel is quiet.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Excellent staff who go beyond expectation to make my stays comfortable and stress free. Clean, refreshing environment.

We booked this room almost last minute. We were in town for a graduation. Loved breakfast food but they need a better system of getting food to you. They make omelets. But right now you walk up to a buffet and tell the guy what you want and he brings it to your table along with your omelet. If you only want cold food you can get that on the spot. There is also a self serve Waffle station too. Other than this we liked it. Hot tub was great but small. Pool and hot tub is indoor.

Staff was very nice, but otherwise a so-so place.

Maybe the worst Hilton chain hotel I've ever stayed in. The box springs on the bed were collapsed and the mattress itself wore out long ago. The bathroom was ok, however if you were lucky enough to get hot water, it wouldn't last long while taking a shower. The rest of the facility was neat and clean, and the staff was courteous, but after a bad nights sleep, broken back and a cold shower it's safe to say I won't be back.

Lumpy bed. Spacious, clean room and bathroom. But very small TV considering the distance from the bed to the wall. Breakfast was less than desirable with a weird set up. It's a buffett, but you place your order with a server who serves your plate. Friendly staff, just not what I'd expect from Hilton brand.

This is a very good hotel very clean.

The rooms are always very nice and clean, and choosing rooms with the Hilton app let's you get the location you want. The only thing that really is hard to accept is the extremely slow internet. Even after purchasing the bandwidth upgrade, the speed is at a crawl. It is only good for browsing. I enjoy all other amenities, especially breakfast.

This is my favorite hotel in the area. Great room, location is perfect, great food options close by and a restaurant inside. Free gym pass or hit the indoor pool / hot tub.

This property is in great need of renovation. As it appears it should not be associated with the Hilton name as it appears in the current condition. I was very DISAPPOINTED! We checked out immediately upon our arrival.

Woke up and had only ice cold water for my shower, looked down to notice that the mildew and mold was everywhere. Not what I expect from a Hilton property.

Front desk person was friendly and nice. The room we were given was clean and ready for us to enjoy our stay. It's about a 25 minute ride to VA beach but for the price it's worth it. Their are plenty of shops and places to eat.

Greeted with feces/clogged toilet at check-in. It was night time, and no housekeeping available, and night clerk didn't want to clean up. I had to clean the mess myself. It was horrible! be warned. Do not stay at this facility.

The rooms are great and the staff is absolutely lovely.

No free breakfast, no hairdryer in the room/bathroom. It's my fault that I didn't inquire about breakfast and that I just assumed a hotel that charges $140 would offer free breakfast. The point is that the food was not near as good as breakfast at Waffle House, for example, while they charge twice as much because it's a "buffet". And again — no hairdryer in the room? This hotel doesn't offer anything that would be worth paying that much.

The rooms were great and the staff was even better. Thanks for a great experience.
