Wow. All I can say is wow. Great service right off the bat. Do you like nice views? Guess what… great view. Clean beds. Clean bathroom. Easy parking. Book it.

If you’re considering extended stay hotels around Salt Lake City under a comfortable budget this is the right place. After trying a few other places we ended up here, not only to find clean, comfortable and spacious rooms but good people and very helpful and efficient stuff. My husband and I have been treated really good and being covered all our needs right away. So far our experience with management, cleaning & general service and front desks has being great.

We checked in and went to our room. It wasn’t even a cleaned room. The bed was used there were used bars of soap in both the tub and the sink and dirty dishes in the tub (yes you read that right, I’m assuming that is where house keeping washes them) and in the sink. They switched our room and our new room, all the drawers and cabinets are open and the bed still looks used. We also didn’t have a blow dryer (they don’t have them so pack your own). So we go to get in the shower and can’t find any shampoo or anything. I called the front desk and I kid you not, the front desk lady tells me “We are not like the Hilton, we don’t supply shampoo but we have lotion. ” I’m dying! Not like the Hilton? You mean not like a hotel? I didn’t realize shampoo was so luxurious! Our room was $70 (which is decent priced) you can go literally a block away to the crystal inn for the same price and have a pool and the oh so luxurious shampoo. We definitely won’t be back.

This please is as close to home as it gets. Their studios clean, homely and recently remodeled. All in all this is a great place to stay.

I really loved it at the murry location, it was beautiful and the staff was very nice. The room was lovely and we enjoyed all the perks that came with our room. The only problem I had was I put down a large deposit and was told if paid in cash that I would get the money back faster, but come down to it I was told there was not a deposit at all… this was very stressful and I felt robbed… I did receive $75 back but am owed a lot more. The manager Matt was very nice and helpful about everything and said he would work on it, they have my phone number and email, but I am yet to hear back. Also when I asked how much a security deposit for a week was I was told it couldn't be pulled up… hoping this gets resolved because I really did enjoy my stay and the staff.

I understand that Studio 6 is a budget motel. That said, the rooms should be clean with fixtures that function and are replaced when they become damaged. Our room had filthy floors, the bath tub had some sort of adhesive mat on the bottom that was stained and only partially adhered, and the faucet was essentially nonfunctional as when you attempted to turn the handle to adjust the water temperature, the entire faucet swiveled on the sink. The outside area was littered with cigarette butts and the trash containers overflowing.

Only 1 person running desk… plus everything else. Waited 15 min for him to come back from whatever he was having to do to check us in. (He was most likely putting towels in the dryer… see later issue. ) Husband and son have strong sense of smell. Room 259 smells horrible according to them. Husband could hardly sleep due to smell. Air conditioner did not work to get air circulating. Lucky I had brought a little fan with us or we'd have requested to change rooms. One towel for 3 people. Went to ask for additional towels and desk clerk said he would have to bring them to us later when he makes a "linen run". (While waiting to ask him this, he was on the phone telling someone that they only had a few rooms left because they're almost fully booked made me realize that this poor young man is working himself like crazy to run this place when it really needs at least 1 or 2 other people helping. ) Back to the towels — — 45 minutes later at 10:30pm & we have an early morning, I call front desk and he says he'll bring them up now. He was there within 5 minutes and had a huge armload full. He gave some to us and was obviously going to give some to other rooms. Even though the nice desk clerk didn't say, I suspect he had to wait for towels to dry before bringing them to us. Sounds like there's some management issues going on. Not sure how many washer and dryers this place has, but the desk clerk should not be the one running laundry duty at a very busy motel!

It was a nightmare. First they checked me into a room that was under construction or something? It was a wreck! They moved us then the next morning gave keys to someone else to have our room while we were still there. Someone let themselves into the room one day while I was out and stole a glass wax burner out of the bathroom cabinet. When I tried to report it I was treated like I was crazy and that I would find it. Pretty much told no I couldn’t make a report. So their fix for “the problem” was to put me in their do not rent list and try to say something about vandalism in the room. It was so crazy because even a member of management came to view the “vandalism” agreed it was false accusations and rented 2 more nights to me. It was all around awful. Plus if you’re trying to do anything including check in during the night you may as well forget it. It takes them 45 min at best to answer the after hours phone. Oh yeah, and bring your own bleach! Seriously! It wasn’t even wiped down when I walked in! Cigarette butt still on the floor and everything. Never again will I make that mistake!

Had a family member stay here for a week and a half. The room was as expected and there were no surprises. Awesome location for shopping, dining and freeway access. Would recommend!

This is nice for Motel 6. My room wasn't the cleanest it should be though. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't have hardly any towels and we did not have a floor mat. They do have a full size refrigerator no oven and a 2 burner stove in the kitchen. It comes with pots and pans and silverware and dishes. The pots and pans were extremely old and dented. Both bedspreads were stained. The girl that worked the front counter was fantastic I really liked her and she was very very nice.
