Great hotel. Clean and very helpful staff. Only thing I didn't love were the beds. My back was so sore in the morning.

Very clean and beautiful! The staff are all super friendly too! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a little getaway!

We were just passing by going to California and this place was fantastic. Super friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Rooms were terrible as well.

This is truly a 5 star resort, Wendie the lady that help us checked in gave us superior service, with a early check in and updated us to a even better suite. So keep up the great work, my wife and I will be back. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful hotel. High mountain lodge. 10300 feet elevation. Gorgeous lobby and super large patio. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice but steakhouse sucks, no bar, no gluten-free options.

If you set your expectations to be lower than motel 6 you will be happy. Facilities appear to be very nice, service is terrible. Manager always seemed to be slouched on couches in the lobby not doing much of anything. Staff were not friendly and everyone working for the hotel and restaurant seem to do the bare minimum. The exception to this is the spa. in terms of the experience we noticed blood on our sheets and reported the issue to the front desk. They didn't seem to care and just ensured us the cleaning staff would replace the sheets that morning. Breakfast at the restaurant: We were the only patrons in the restaurant it took greater than 30 minutes for food and sides were missing, it took an additional 20 minutes for a side of toast. Waiter would not address me, rather he would only address my wife. This hotel should really do some simple stuff like update the names of the spa in the elevators. We booked massages online and the spa names did not align with the signage for the spa located in the hotel. When we asked the front desk about this it was as if that was the worst question we could have ever asked. This is consistent with the overall experience, if you ask for anything you are a bother and you will know it. Despite the negative review of the hotel the spa is fantastic. Next time I am in Brian Head I will stay at another hotel and visit this spa. The hotel is not worth staying at.

No gift shop, have to drive down the road just to get to a store. One restaurant only, which is way too expensive and the food is not that good. Everything looks so old and run down.

This is our third year in a row spending a week with the family in the suite. It's like a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment. The kitchen is stocked with utensils but it's a gourd idea to bring any specialty items like a blender. Both bedrooms and the living room have large televisions with lots of cable channels. This place is awesome. It has a beautiful pool area with a waterfall (kinda noisy but beautiful) and two hot tubs (one inside and one outside). There's also a nice fitness room right next to the suite. (There's only one suite. ) They have a restaurant, but I've never been there. Because of a change in ownership, they currently have no liquor license, so bring your own. If you're in Brian Head to ski/ride, the shuttle stops right in front of the lodge, so you can leave the lodge in your ski or snowboard boots. We love this place!

Not sure where to start on this one. We have stayed her multiple times before. Booked rooms and requested adjoining rooms. Called 3 days before arrival to confirm and was confirmed adjoining rooms. Showed up hour before check-in and was told the rooms weren't ready but confirmed adjoining rooms again. Go to check in 15 minutes early and one room is ready. Front desk stated the next room will be ready in about 10 minutes. Moved all of our stuff into a room that had an adjoining room. Head back downstairs to check in for second room and was told that we did not have an adjoining room. The woman at the front told us she had just given that room away to the person in front of us. I explained to her that I really needed and adjoining room and it had been requested on my initial reservation as well as multiple times before and just 15 minutes ago. She stated that she did not see anything stating we requested an adjoining room. She had just taken over the shift from the previous front desk clerk. She went back to speak to the manager and came out and told us they could not accommodate us. I was apalled. And the way she said it was so rude. My husband requested to speak to the manager and she said " that's who I was just talking to! " My husband told her he still wanted to talk to him. The woman at the front desk helped multiple people before turning to my husband asking if he was still waiting for the manager. Almost irritated he was still there.

Oh I love this lodge, breakfast buffet was great. The coffee wasnt great or warm though. Dinner was perfect though. I just wish the bar was open during my stay. And the gift shop. And the hot was functional. But loved the energy.

We arrived the day after Christmas 2017. The hotel is newly renovated and our room was excellent, very clean, beds were firm, everything felt new. The staff was friendly and the indoor pool was a treat. Not heated but the hot tub was hot. They have a common area on the second floor to sit and relax with tvs and a couple of pool tables, fire places and out on the balcony there are huge fire places as well. It did seem that the hotel had some areas where they weren't quite running at capacity. The common area has a bar that wasn't open, the restaurant was sub-par, no soda machines next to ice makers on guest floors. But none of that made any difference for our stay.

My room was clean and had everything one would expect including a safe. The hotel is close to the main ski Lodge at Brianhead Ski Resort but not exactly walking distance since there are no sidewalks. The deck on the second floor of the lodge has outdoor fireplaces which are quite nice.

Comfort. Nice location. Amazing nature… they have a warm pool. Restaurant. Bar. Gym. Game room and a beautiful Spa that has a steam room and a suna.

The room was excellent, and close to everything. My only gripe was that the restaurant was closed when it was listed as being open online.

This hotel is closed and taking reservations fraudulently — beware. We arrived on Saturday night with our reservation in hand to find this sign on the door and store owners nearby told us the place is in bankruptcy proceedings yet still scamming potential customers. I don't know who is continuing to write reviews online, it is definitely not open.

Brett was AWESOME! He was so kind and so helpful. The pool is amazing! Our stay was perfect.

The rooms are generous in size, clean, and have plenty of extra pillows and towels. The general manager was an absolute delight. I read other reviews about unfriendly staff and low moral, but I saw no evidence of that. Everyone was happy, friendly, and kind. Scenary is a National Forest so it's exactly what you would expect, trees, rocks and in the winter snow. Would come back again in an instant. Thank you!

Great resort to stay at. The Jacuzzi had a lot of chlorine but it was epic. Beautiful rooms and a great staff.

STAY AWAY! This place is a total disaster and is now closed. When I visited, the morale was low and no one wanted to work or treat to the customers. There are rumors that the owner has lost the lodge and the lodge is entering foreclosure (see articles written on The Spectrum). It appears that all of the employees have quit and do not want to work for the previous owner because he failed to pay them as well as all of the vendors. I recommend staying at Cedar Breaks and waiting to visit the lodge until a new owner takes over.

Really nice mood. Has a small indoor pool and 2 hot tubs (1 inside and 1 outside). The food is good yet expensive. The rooms are nice and and roomy. The bathroom is big for a hotel and the shower is surprisingly big. The ski bus stops at the entrance and takes you to the mountain after a couple stops at other hotels. The ride is the longest among the hotels here because it is the fathers from the mountain, but it's still a short 6 minute ride. Definetly recommend.

Just spent the weekend there for the first time. The staff was friendly, and the room was completely clean, with no funky smell whatsoever. The rooms were updated and had plenty of space for all of our luggage. Beds were comfy. Wifi was fast. My kids love the pool. I was suprised this place wasn't more crowded, but it is the off season. I think if this place were up in Park City or near the Wasatch front, the prices would be much higher and the placde booked out solid. I didn't get a chance to eat there, but the restaraunt looked good. We will stay there again some time and eat there. We have already decided to do it again next year. Super fun.

Came here with my mom in June. Very clean rooms. Good food and friendly staff.

We went to have dinner there. The menu online had items that we were looking forward to eating. However the menu in the actual restaraunt had nothing that we wanted.

Nice resort, pretty empty on a wensday night. Not many resteraunts around so it was also good that they had a decent restaraunt and bar.

The Lift Lounge is the perfect place in Brian Head to watch the Super Bowl. Excellent game day specials, good wait staff, and not a bad seat in the house. We've enjoyed the game there several years in a row and hope to continue the tradition for many more years.

Had a great time at the Grand Lodge with my wife. Love the place, it was clean and the food was fantastic. I would definitely highly recommend this place to people who love a clean, relaxing weekend on the mountain. Food was excellent and the service was great.

1/9/16 we had the worst dining experience at the 'lift bar and patio. ' 2.5 hours after ordering our food and not receiving it we decided it was time to leave. Four of the staff members met us in the parking lot and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay for the food we never recieved. It would be understandable if they were busy, but they were not. They were only about half full. This place has a nice atmosphere but the staffy is incompetent, rude and violent. We will never come back and sugest you don't either.

The food was horrible although service was good. They have a limited menu and on our visit Philly cheese steak and salad were the only options as they were out of everything else. Over priced and we had to move tables because apparently they had some construction earlier and failed to clean the tables off. Don't bother eating there.

Beautiful setting. Bartenders were spectacular, Sky in particular! The rest of the staff and the food left a bit to be desired but it was right on par for what you'd expect in off-season, far from any professional service industry workforce.

It was just ok… the room was clean and bed comfortable. The restaurant was only open on week end… the bar area left a lot to be desired… as well as the food offered… I thought it was a little expensive for what it offered.

Lobby is very nice, the singing, the decor is exquisite, the pool's a little small, but not bad.

Love, love, love this place! The hotel is awesome, and the bar is just as great. Vinnie is an awesome bartender. It is the best place to stay in Brian Head.

I stayed at the lodge last month and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the experience. We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and the Front Desk upon arrival and they made us feel right at home. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great and our server was great and was on top of the service. I usually am not impressed easily with hotels, but I felt that this hotel went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I had a great time. We would definitely come back to this property. Mr. And Mrs. H.

Be very careful about loading your luggage on the Grand Lodge property after a snowfall. We were loading our luggage and large chunks of ice cascaded off of the roof and slammed into my wife's head, slammed into my car and pinned my leg against the car. Nice Trip! The staff “appeared” to be friendly, but was only interested in getting us out of the lodge ASAP. The ice did substantial damage to my car and left a gash in my wife's head. It had been a month before the Grand Lodge even contacted their insurance company. The Grand Lodge's official response "Assumed Risk". Really? I should assume the risk of loading my luggage in the designated loading area? If you decide to go to the Grand Lodge during winter, then be aware that you will assume any and ALL risks for all snow and ice that happens to fall on you or your property. Additionally management is irresponsible and has no desire to accept responsibility for accidents that occur on the Grand Lodge property. Good luck on the high AAA rating. You have been warned.
