I definitely enjoy this hotel and have stayed there with my family multiple times. It's managed very well, it never feels like customer service takes a back seat and the only less than ideal experience I've ever had was from a couple "Holier than thou" guests who clearly are the unsatisfied with how their life is going type that have an entitlement complex and want compensation just for being alive. That experience has nothing to do with the hotel and I mention it only as an analogy to illustrate how one person's negative experience says more about their state of mind than the subject being reviewed. This is a great place to stay and nobody should be deterred by a review posted online.

No problems with room. Privacy close location to City and stores. Reasonable prices.

This hotel is booked 24-7… I've stayed there several times and my experience was worth more than 5 stars. I hear they're also making renovations to their rooms and they looked absolutely stunning very classy I would recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody!

Nice room for the price, friendly proprietor. Clean grounds. Comfortable beds. Best place in it's price range in Clearfield. A landmark like Crown Billiards. Gives a locals discount.

I really love this place, it's very cheap but doesn't feel like it. It's very cozy. Remember to ask for the Wi-Fi password. There is Comcast cable with every channel, but the TVs are a little dated. Staff seemed friendly, no problems with neighbors I really can't express how cozy this place feels. It's kind of hard to notice while driving because all the trees and the sign is small.

I had well I had good service there and Chris Tristan he's a very good owner of the place and I will go there all the time if it's drug free.

This kinda reminds me of an outdoorsy lodge in the woods On the outside. It's got a little restrestaurant. The rooms are standard, nothing special. Ill be going back.

Weird. Found strange listening device inserted into the headboard of the bed, truly a violation of privacy. I must point out that for the outdated strangeness and the cost to stay here, far better can be found, with free continental breakfast, a phone in the room and modern amenities for a price thats cheaper or around the same. Look around, be safe, if you sense something is wrong it probably is, and whenever or wherever you discover a violation of your rights, especially your right to privacy speak up take action expose the perpetrators. These people who do this sort of thing have always been frowned upon. We cannot allow this to go one step further, it does not matter. If Bill Gates created a system by which to monitor all other systems that monitor all peoples, it does not matter how it is dressed up, privacy is privacy, and noone has the right to infringe upon that! Ever. I will not support any business on any level who takes my hard earned money with a. Smile and then turns and eavesdrops on me and my family with invasive technologies. Integrity goes along way and wherever it is lacking in businesses we should be more than willing to make it known to the greatest number. My review. Of this place is 0 stars. Awful. Caution. Danger. I love this place! So cute, so comfy, so close to everything! The staff is awesome and the rooms are nice! Home alway from home for me! Thanks guys! I'll be back again soon.

Amazing management who works with people in need and works hard to deliver the best customer service ive seen.

I was only there in the day to visit a friend staying there, but the room was very nice and comfortable. After another guest threw a basketball on the roof of my friend's car, we were taken care of very well. The lighting in the room could have been better, and the outside could look better, but overall, it was pretty nice.

I tried to call the hotel to be transfered to my friends room and the person who answered sounded like they were asleep. When I asked to connect me to my friends room he paused then said ugh no I can't. I asked why and he said please let us sleep then hung up on me. What kind of buisness is this seriously that was beyond rude.

I like it. Been here a month and have had no problems. It's clean and the staff are wonderful. They keep the rooms clean and also have someone here at night making sure all is good. I feel good and safe at night so that's real plus. Only thing that sucks is we have a tiny bathroom and no tub just a shower, that's only cuz we have been here so long, if it was short term a shower alone would be fine.

Quaint and not the most up to date of the local motels, but the rustic look and feel and the clean comfortable rooms make up for fancy amenities that most of us never have time to use. Don't think there is nothing up to date here however. The rooms with kitchenette/storage area are small but functional and are great for the more than one or two day traveller. Don't worry, Wi-Fi is available so you can keep up with the modern world while you relax in this rustic inn.

Was cozy and not all rush like a big hotel chain spent 3 weeks with my two teenage children was like family with staff when we leftv.

Unless you are Ruprecht The Monkeyboy, dont let them give you room 20… its a textbook hovel. The manager is a forgetful but lovable hardworking savant.

I don't know about some of these reviews, I found quite the opposite. The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were polite an helpful. I cant say really anything negative about my stay. My girlfriend and I were hesitant after reading what some people had to say, but we had already booked our room. All I can say is that we were pleasently surprised and would defently stay again. There is nothing like it for the price.

This night — 25th of october 2011 — we let the climatsation run, because it was cold outside. After two days of incubation I had the "Legionnaires' disease", my sons not, but I´m 68 and it comes only to old man. In the morning we saw also, that the rooms and the bathroom were not clean. So, be carefull in this Motel.
