June 2020 Front desk staff was very helpful. Due to Covid-19 they provided a breakfast voucher to local restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean. The layout of the facility provides a private deck and quiet atmosphere. The pool area was also very relaxing. Location provides access to shops & restaurants within walking distance.

Last night I got to stay at the amazing Gonzo Inn. This was such a unique hotel in a beautiful city and a near perfect stay. There was a pool and jacuzzi that I could see from my balcony (which I enjoyed my coffee on in the morning! ) The bed was incredibly comfortable, room was so quiet and I loved the complimentary bathrobe! It was the best night’s sleep I’ve had this entire tour so far. I’m already planning a trip back to Moab for vacation instead of work and I know where I am staying.

Cute, funky hotel with spacious rooms and a great gift shop. We feel very comfortable here — beds are great and the rooms and grounds are very clean. Nice kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Walkable to most of the downtown restaurants and shops. Definitely would recommend this place!

The hotel lobby is great. The free cookies a nice touch. Free breakfast was better than normal. The bike room and bike wash were great. The rooms were average just okay. Not dirty, but just average. Also pool is nice and laundry key.

Such a fun place to stay! Wonderful clean and nice room. Excellent staff super helpful and friendly I would recommend this place to anyone going to Moab.

The Gonzo never disappoints! We stayed here for the first time last year and absolutely fell in love! It's cozy, quiet, and quaint, with a staff of awesome folks who routinely go above and beyond to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. Worth every penny and will surely be our pick for all future stays in Moab!

Our first time in Moab! My large family had a very pleasant experience at the Gonzo Inn. Best Western is where we usually stay and both were overpriced and snobs in this location. In our favor I booked a suite with a connecting king at Gonzo. Staff is awesome, hotel is uniquely laid out and decorated, beds are comfy, the pool was great and the showers are excellent. Our little pets were cozy and happy too. Great location situated in walking distance to shopping and food. We would definitely book again.

On our way back to Moab we had a trailer malfunction. We called the Gonzo, well, because we knew it was unique and cool. All the other hotels are cookie cutter. I spoke to a pleasant Desiree and there was a room possibly available at 3PM. It was ours! The king Gecko suite. A little pricey by our modest standards, but it's a road trip so what the hell. We met Jerry at the front desk. Another enjoyable employee that we bonded with immediately. You just have to take the time to commiserate with the staff. The rewards are boundless. The room drew an ecstatic WOW from my wife as I dealt with the trailer repair. Two balconies with quiet, rear park and pool views. The sheets were like melted butter. Gotta find these things somewhere. We milked our stay until the last second and we'll go back some day. We hope Desiree and Jerry are still there. All in all an extremely wonderful stay. Well maintained and certainly one of a kind experience. No runny egg breakfast, just high quality pastry, etc. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the relaxing time that we had here. Look slowly at the entire place. There are surprises everywhere.

The Gonzo Inn was a nice surprise. The rooms are spacious. Our second floor room had a vaulted ceiling with plenty of windows and a balcony. The bathroom had a humongous walk in shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The room was very clean, bright and well decorated. The only drawback was we could hear our neighbors. The staff was friendly and their homemade cookies (with chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, and coconut) were delicious! Breakfast was adequate but I have had better. The location is great — set back just a little from the main road but within walking distance of most of the town. Only a few minutes from the entrance to Arches.

It is not right on Main Street, but it is very close, so I get to enjoy the quietness and cheerful yet laid back atmosphere right in the middle of down town. Very friendly staff, and bedding is incredibly nice and comfortable! It is pet friendly, too. I have been coming annually, and I love it that I can enjoy the vacation but also feel at home thanks to Gonzo Inn.

Great atmosphere if you're looking for something a bit different than your standard chain hotel.

Dope little spot. I wish I had more time to dick around but I was in and out. Even the toilet paper holders are cool. Love the name and the look. Moab is a dope spot if ya got the money stay here and roam around Moab.

This is a nice clean hotel that has been remodeled recently. It is pet friendly. Good restaurants close by. Reasonable prices. Next to the Riverside trail.

Cool smaller hotel with unique rooms and layouts. Comfortable beds and nice linens. The Inn includes breakfast which has a good variety of food and opens at 6:00am for those who wish to get out on the trails. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a long road trip and thought it was wonderful. Nice staff, nice room, satisfactory breakfast and handily placed for the liquor store and nearby restaurants!

It was a really wonderful hotel, and the front desk staff was lovely. What I didn't appreciate was the behavior of other guests. There were many people smoking at the pool (there are many signs that say not to), so much so that we were able to smell it in our room. There were also adults walking up and down the hallways while singing loudly. That being said, the room had fabulous natural lighting, and a heater in the shower! It sounds silly but when it's really hot outside, your room gets pretty cold from AC. It's nice to have a warm spot to get dressed. All in all, I think the place would benefit from more staff to ensure respectful guests, as the staff we did encounter were wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gonzo Inn. We've been gone for 25 days and it's the best place with the nicest people so far.

July 2017 — fantastic place to stay. The customer service is wonderful. We stayed in the Gonzo Suite, with 2 decks overlooking the grassy greens. Birds chirping and deer on the grass in the morning, while you we had our coffee on the deck. The industrial SW motif in the rooms is unique and fun. Within walking distance to great restaurants, brewery, jeep rentals and more. Our second stay here! We highly recommend.

This is hands down my most favorite place to stay. Nice comfortable rooms. Lovely pool view and the grounds are nicely taken care of as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the decor! I will be back! thinking of joining the gonzo membership.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites. The aesthetics of Gonzalez are great, a southwest metallic vibe. Beds are comfy. Everything was very modern. The jets in our jacuzzi tub wouldn't turn on and the Wi-Fi in our room had excellent signal, but wouldn't connect or provide Internet for most of our stay. I'd recommend Gonzo Inn.

Nice rooms and convenient. Do not come if you like to sleep in! Noise starts at 8am.

Clean and eclectic, well maintained property. The owners and staff are very polite and the breakfast area has enough to get you going in the AM with waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, pastries and fruit with coffee, tea or juice.

Loved this place and want to go back during a time that everything is not about to close down for the season. Very eclectic hotel and loved that we could bring our dog with us. Only wished the handicapped room shower was a bit more accommodating. Otherwise we totally dug the town and will be back.

This place is awesome! The rooms are well appointed and quirky. The staff was attentive and gracious. Location was convenient to bars, restraunts, Greenway and parks. Over a two week vacation out west this was our favorite hotel.

This hotel was awesome! We got to Moab at 10pm and most other hotels were sold out but this one had a few available rooms! Probably because it is off the main road, but don't let that fool you, it is a cool, classy, quirky, clean, fun, affordable place to stay! The rooms have signature spanish style/western pieces which gives a fancy cool vibe. They offered a nice free breakfast, the pool and hot tub were in a nice back shady area, and the rooms were so nice we didn't want to leave! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again next time we go to Moab!

Great amenities, walkable to bars and restaurants, large room with nice furniture. Nice pool and hot tub too. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the AC wasn't quiet so we had to turn it off, otherwise it was a great place to stay I would recommend to a friend.

Best place to stay in Moab! Large Suites. (Basically it's a small, 1 bedroom apartment) for the same price as a standard Hotel room. Great decor. Courtious staff. Just off Main street, so much quieter atmosphere. We'll definitely go back.

Did not want to leave! Booked 2 Aug 2012 to 4 Aug, stayed one extra night, and would have stayed longer if we could have — Gonzo was booked, so we had to move to another hotel which was perfectly fine but a huge step down. A truly wonderful place, Gonzo Inn, with excellent beds, pool, kitchen facilities, and superb hotel staff. A short drive from Canyonlands and Arches NP, a long drive from Goblin Valley SP, and 2 minutes from Moab Brewery, all highly recommended. This was a favorite spot on a long trip from Denver up through Badlands, Black Hills, Yellowstone, back to Denver via Utah. Even a duplex room at Keystone Resort CO did not compare to the Gonzo Inn.

The Gonzo Inn has always and will always be my family's favorite place to stay. Located just off the main drag, all the restaurants, shops and bars are within a few minutes walking distance. The staff is always extremely pleasant and welcoming. See you next year Gonzo Inn.

Spectacular. It is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. The neat thing was that there was a Little Brown Bat who slept right outside my door during the day. I took many pictures, and it was the coolest thing to see a live bat since they are nocturnal and so shy around humans.

Excellent hotel! At $145/night for a standard room, it was a little more than I would normally pay while on a road trip. However the place is great! Funky design and architecture, clean rooms and great staff. Each room has a small balcony or patio. The free continental breakfast was better than most other hotels. Pool and hot tub was clean and enjoyable. I would definitely stay again.

This is the first time I have written about a hotel, but this place was so nice, I felt I should write something. We stayed 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The room was large (had the queen with sofa bed), clean, and the staff were great! I think this is one of the nicest places I have stayed. I highly recommend it.
