Nice rustic place. Off season so very calm. Food at restaurant wasnt awesome but edible.

Beautiful lodge on one of the most beautiful majestic mountains on earth.

This place is AWESOME. Pricey, but first class all the way! The staff is anazing, and there isn't a better location in Alta. Highly recommended!

Don’t bother going to rustlers Lodge I went with my family to have a nice warm afternoon drink and watch the Skiers come off the slopes the manager told us in no uncertain terms that we could not eat the raw vegetable platter that was in front of us because we were not guests at the hotel. Very snobby Even though people are wandering around in there bathrobes. A guy from Brazil sat down next to my daughter-in-law and was man spreading. Gross.

I actually went to the spa there, it was wonderful Jeannie was my therapist, gave me a excellent massage, then I enjoyed the indoor hot rub, steam room, beautiful setting in the ski resort, it was very relaxing,

High end for Alta, but decidedly casual with ski out/ lift in proximity to Alta. Nice pool, hot tubs and sauna for working out the kinks after a day on the slopes. The food is good and the dinning room staff is attentive, but quietly so.

The Alta rustler Lodge is a great place with all the commodities and outdoor experiences that you could have anywhere in the world highly recommended.

Rustler Lodge is the absolute best ski in ski out place in Alta. It's amazing for families, It's expensive but breakfast and dinner are included. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is awesome. They're extremely helpful and nice so show some respect. They have a full bar and plenty of comfortable chairs. They have a full spa — massages, eucalyptus steam room, sauna, hot tubs inside and out, a pool, and a locker room with a shower and fresh towels. 10/10 — I will be coming back for my 7th time in 2018

Outstanding 5 night stay! The Rustler dining room even made my husband's birthday celebration extra special — starting with a delightful carrot cake for breakfast (I called ahead to arrange that) Top notch staff and facilities! Waitstaff, front desk, shuttle drivers, managers — all were incredibly friendly, hardworking people that want you to enjoy yourself and have the best vacation possible. — excellent dining options — both the daily specials and the common menu had all types of meat, fish and veggie options. — daily snacks, teas, & drinks for apres ski — outstanding outdoor hot tub and pool, sauna, steam room — bed linens that were heavenly — breaktaking views — very well stocked ski shop that sends you to the slopes & Back up their own lift to deliver you back at the end of the day.

Rustic, we'll run lodge. Fantastic and cozy and tasty.

This is the place to stay at Alta/Snowbird! I came out by myself a day early before meeting up with my husband and friends. Staff here is super friendly and so helpful. Front desk staff suggested a group style dinner that they have here every night; got to meet some great people from all over. The rooms, food, cocktail hour, lounges, views, pool, spa, fireplaces, all the best. I might even try to make it for the 7:15 a. M. Yoga stretch class. Most of all there is such a warm & friendly inviting vibe here from staff and guests, and deluxe accommodations as well! Sad to leave, but I'll be back soon! Thanks!

They still have a real wood fire in the dining room, while the snow swirled outside the windows. Just like in the 1980s when I worked up there :-). Excellent dinner as always.

Best place ever… superior service, incredible food (healthy too), superb location for amazing skiing. Keep coming back year after year and always looking forward to the next trip. Kids love it too, they truly think of the Rustler as their ski home away from home :-)

Nice but pricey good service and awesome pool.

Have only been to the Thanksgiving Buffet it is was expensive for what it was. I was expecting it to be a little more all encompassing but was your basic thanksgiving menu. Everything was good though.

Alta is the best place in Utah to ski, and the Rustler is the best place to stay at Alta! Can't wait for January.

If they've got the Soft Shell Crab BLT on the specials menu, order it! Otherwise you can't go wrong with the wild game burger. This is one of Alta's lesser known lunch options, therefore perfect for a busy day. Service is sit-down only, but your tab will only be a buck or two more than on-Mountain options like Watson's or Alf's.

Why ski? Why ski out west? Why ski anywhere besides Alta? Why stay anywhere but at the Rustler? After years of roaming the Rockies, we finally found home. We have to wait 365 days to see Kate and the staff at the bottom of heaven. Eat, ski powder, take in vistas, steam, boil, drink, and eat again. 11 months of waiting. Bob Kempf.

Loved it. Great dinner and service. Love the outdoor pool and hot tub and Eucalyptus Sauna. Staff is amazing. Can still shuttle to other nearby resorts.

Awesome especially if it is dumping snow. Great food and friendly service. Ski in ski out and soak in outdoor tub or get massage or steam. Been there many times and will go again. Nothing to do other than ski and eat and relax.

Location: For skiing in, using their own little chairlift, and skiing directly out, it couldn't be easier or better; it's better than being directly slopeside, since being where it is, the Rustler has more sun, killer sunsets from the bar and a view of the slopes from your room. Food: Consistently superb, including the best breakfast buffet anywhere in snow country. Service: The staff continues to surprise and impress us, year after year; I think the status and reputation of the Rustler must allow them to have the pick of the most intelligent, pleasant and eager staff we've found in a ski accommodation. It would be hard to imagine a more gracious overall ski-lodge experience.

We went up to Alta's Rustler Lodge for Dinner and it was really nice. The food was so good, and they had a variety of entrees on their menu too. It was really cozy, you could sit near the fire, or look out over the resort. Our waiters showed all the respect one would expect from a fancy restaurant, and the portions were filling too. I would definitely recommend this for a nice dinner and stay up here at the lodge. The outdoor pool is heated making for a nice relaxing night after skiing all day.
