Front desk registration sucks! This lady is so slow!

The hotel is new and my room was clean. The room features a kitchenette with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster as well as dishes, cups, pots and pans and utensils. The room also has a full size refrigerator with freezer. They room is well lit with a chair and desk. Unfortunately if you have more than one in your party, someone will have to stand or sit on the bed to eat (lost one star for this) The hotel does not provide shampoo or conditioner but does provide bar soap. This is fairly common with some Motel 6’s. Another review mentioned having to place your room number on the displayed parking pass. The hotel has changed their permit since then and now only has the license plate for the vehicle. The TV has only basic cable. For the price of the hotel, I would expect at least one premium channel (lost another star for this). If you are staying for an extended time, I would recommend bringing a DVD player and a few movies. The woman working the front desk was friendly and even held the door open for me when she realized I had my hands full.

1) my room did not have a TV remote. 2) as a woman traveling alone, I was VERY uncomfortable having my room number written on the paper for my car. Is there some sort of code you could use instead of the room number? 3) I really like that the floors were laminate instead of carpet. 4) the kitchenette was so well stocked.

$600 for one week at this brand new hotel. Ok… its disgusting. Food left in the fridge, sheets that were previously slept on, trash left in the shower, nastiness in both trash cans. Dirty greasy fingerprints all over the room. The toilet paper was even wet on the roll! We went down to front desk, asked for management and we were told they were out until tomorrow. I showed the lady the pictures and she says that she'll gladly put us in another room. One that's cleaned… NO way. I told her I'll wait until management comes in, because I would like to be reimbursed some of the money or a few nights on the house. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to add that management gladly handled the situation. I mean $600 at check in you'd think they would be EXTREMELY helpful… Follow up. I would like to report that amongst everything yesterday, the girls up front were extremely helpful as best they could and polite. So the place is under new management. The lady has been here 2 weeks and shes striving to get the place into shape. She is going over everything worth the owner to see what they will be doing. I'll update more and hopefully change my review.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We arrived in San Marcos with enough time to shower and get to bed for an early and busy day the next day. When we walked into the room I noticed that the stove was very dirty, but I didn’t worry about it because we weren’t planning to cook there. Unfortunately the bathroom was also dirty, very dirty. There were black hairs in the shower and open soap on the side of the tub. The toilet was filthy as well. I took photos and notified the front desk. She said housekeeping would be there to clean it shortly. It was already 10pm and we waited 10 minutes for housekeeping but no one came. I went back to the front desk and she gave me the card to a different room. We moved all of our things to the other room and it too had not been cleaned. By this time it was 10:30 and we were already late to get to bed. I took more photos and asked the front desk if we could have a refund so we could find another hotel. She said she was unauthorized to issue refunds. We found another hotel that was actually less expensive and perfectly clean. I have not heard anything about the refund request.

Front desk was training a person when I checked in. I didn't mind waiting while the trainee pecked at the computer, but an explanation that they were training would have been nice. I stayed 2 nights. I got 1 washcloth. What? When I checked out the person at desk was on the phone for 10 minutes. I had a question but couldn't ask it. Finally I said I have a question but I guess I'll go on. She stayed on the phone. Oh well. Also I was shocked that my Kitchenette had no dishwasher.

This is one of the most disgusting hotels I've ever been to. I stayed the first week it opened and I came back to my room after a long day of work to find ants all over my room, in my bed on the counters. Everywhere, I talked to the manager Peter and he shows no sympathy whatsoever. He wouldn't even let me change rooms. He basically told me that it was my problem. He was very unprofessional and I urge anyone who reads this please fine another hotel.

Read other people reviews and regarding cleaning once a week I believe thats for guest that stay for a whole week. Clean: 4/5 very good A/C: Good Kitchen: Clean Bathroom: NO shower soap they do however have hand bar soap. Shower was roomy and good pressure and clean however. Lights and outlets: 5/5 good selection of outlets and lighting is no issue. Parking lot: Good parking lot, no trash or glass and felt like a safe area. Stayed one night and overall good experience.

Cheap nice place to have your old lady try on some new panties and go to town.

This place had no swimming pool — they were very incordial, no shampoo or conditioner in the room — trash in front of door and under the bed — room looked clean, but not sure that it was. Not much reasoning with the staff at the front desk. Front desk staff were Rude…

Very comfortable clean and new. The price its very good. Definitely will return. I highly recommend.

Decent price, decent area.

DISGUSTING! We booked 2 rooms online, when we arrived, they only had one room confirmed, therefore the second room cost more (to correct their error). When the corporate office was contacted, they refused to correct and refund the difference, WHICH WAS THEIR ERROR. This Hotel does NOT have a housekeeping service. They don't freshen your towels daily — you have to go to the front desk and get them yourself. An employee told me the rooms are cleaned ONCE A WEEK. They do NOT provide amenities such as hand soap, shampoo, tissues or dish soap/paper towels for their kitchenette. You must provide your own. There was one small bar of bath soap provided. Additionally, my hand towels were dirty with grease spots — and my coffee pot was dirty — I had to wash it before I could use it. The only reason they got 1 star rating, is because this is the least that I could select.

Newly opened. Loved our stay. Everything is brand new.
