There may have been issues with the AC in the building this day, as our room and the building AC was running, but all the rooms and common areas were very humid — to the point our room door swelled and could not be opened without force. Also would advise not getting a room near the front of the building, as the windows face the parking lot and there was so much noise.

Misty was the reason for the star, she is store clerk. Friendly and possitive attitude. Breakfast was great.

Very good experience at this holiday Inn, the hot tub rooms were only a couple bucks more and made the experience very relaxing. The TV was a bit outdated, but the Wi-Fi was fast enough that it didn't matter (just used my laptop). ) I'd stay here again if I'm in the area.

Had a great stay here during MotoGP weekend in Austin (2018). This hotel is east of the Circuit of the Americas, which means there is less traffic in this direction. Most of the cars seemed to be coming from and going towards Austin (to the West of the track). So once we got on the 71, it was smooth sailing (low traffic). The hotel is a little over 20 miles from the race track. There are plenty of restaurants in Bastrop within a 1 mile radius. Also a Walmart, Starbucks, pharmacy, gas stations and convenience stores. This is where I'll stay if I come back for another race.

Clean, friendly great location for the event we attended. Love the cinnamon rolls at the breakfast buffet.

I was happy with my stay. It was clean, quiet, close to good restaurants, had a decent breakfast, and good coffee. The employees were very nice, and helpful.

Front desk told me to go to the car wash across the street for quarters to do laundry. I'm not staying at the carwash! But they have quarters at the front desk.

Hospitality during my stay was exceptional! Everyone went out of their way to make my experience remarkable and that’s what makes for a great vacation. Looks like they’re updating the look as well so I’m excited to see the outcome when I visit Bastrop again!

This well I who traveled with family don't want so many people in a room even if they are underage.

Nice location right to a Walmart to get anything you forgot. And the room was nice and the people who served us were great!

Wi-Fi isn't working properly during the one night I stayed due to business and all four pillows on the bed are soft they need to have some firm pillows so my neck wont be stiff the following morning.

Stayed for an event. Room wasn't ready at check in. Waited an 1 hour and a half. Befoee we could check in. Seemed clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Plaese do not stay here. The owners of this place are the ruddess people ever. My sister and I worked there for a very short time. The owner came in and yelled with others around at my sister because she did not fold a towel. Really this lady went off, in left feild real fast. Being a owner of a Holiday Inn dose not give them the right to be ass.

The staff is very nice! Gave four stars because the hot tub always seems to be out of service.

Clean room. Bed was ok, sunk in middle a little. Employees very friendly and polite. Great price.

We stayed 2 nights due to hurricane Harvey. We had 2 rooms for 8 people one king suite and one queen double. The beds were comfortable the pillows not so much. I have a stiff neck this morning. Rooms are super clean and dont smell but very outdated. Fridge and microwave were a huge plus! Ac worked extremely well. We had to ask for toilet paper about 5 times. You're better off bringing your own. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and consisted of microwaved omelets and breakfast sausage but hey it's free. Coffee is always available in the lobby and is really good.

As always Holiday Inn delivered. Clean rooms and friendly staff!

The location was very convenient for the tough mudder event nearby. The room was pretty standard for a Holiday Inn, and the staff was pretty friendly.

Jeff at the front desk went above and beyond. He assisted me with kindness even though I arrived in the middle of the night with no reservation. He even brewed a fresh pour of coffee for me when I left at an unconventional hour. As a woman traveling alone, he made sure I was safeahs was very mindful of the other guests and their treatment of me. He's just a great human being and the hotel (which is nice, clean, and reasonably priced) is lucky to have him.

Jeff at the front desk was great when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed and got us checked in quick. Breakfast was the standard fare but constantly replenished so it was fresh. Beware of the showers though. Our shower head sprayed wider than the tub so it made a puddle.

The room was clean, the staff very welcoming and helpful, and our stay was wonderful.

It's in a nice location, close to restaurant and stores, the room are nice and clean and the workers are friendly.

Terrible smell that would not dissipate, dirty towels and linens, carpet was sticky. Just awful.

Four of these stars come because everything was clean, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast was decent, and the Wi-Fi worked. The fifth star comes because the staff was genuinely pleasant and helpful. During my four day stay, they went out of their way at least twice to make sure my stay was pleasant. This hotel has a fair share of amenities: nice pool, a treadmill to run on, coffee and tea available in the lobby and a public computer with a printer. If you find yourself visiting the Bastrop area, I would recommend this place without reservation.

The staff is unbelievably helpful. They always inform me of local events and new places to eat when I stay. Priced right and located right off the downtown area.
